Note that weed can be used for the same things it's just the seeds you cultivate for the diesel.

Republican extremist states still restrict it even if legal federally.
I cannot think of a single reason to throw somebody in jail for this. Plus it would be good for America economically, ending our reliance on non-renewable, foreign goods.
