Throwing out a hopeless case. Back in the early 90s, a local radio station (Edmonton, Alberta, on either 630 CHED AM or it's sister-station Power 92 FM) had a program called "The Basement Tapes." On it was a song that has haunted me for nearly 30 years but I don't know the band's name, if they're still together (probably not) or where the hell I can find a copy. It probably doesn't even SOUND like I remember. That said, if anyone can find it or info about it, I'd love to know.

The song was called (I believe) "Trust Me," and the chorus went like this:

>Trust me to stay,

>I won't run a-way,

>I stand here to-day,

>I'll be stan-ding here to-mor-row

>If there's doubt in you mind,

>I've nothing to hide

>I'm your 'til I die and

>I'll nev-er bring you sor-row

>If you trust me, babe…

It was a fast song, and it burned itself into my brain after hearing it only once, but I never heard it again. The band may have had the word "Park" in their name, but I didn't really catch it. Any help that I can get would be very much appreciated.

You're gonna have to give us more to work with, anon. For the past few days I've gone through literally 100+ obscure songs from Canada from that time period all called "Trust Me" from various random artists. What genre was it? Was the person singing a guy or a girl?

It was a guy on lead vocals. Genre would be rock 'n' roll, I think. It wasn't metal but it had a pounding beat. I would give you more if I knew anything, which is why this search has been so maddening to me. Where are you searching? Youtube or somewhere else?

I've been searching on YouTube and SoundCloud mostly.

I've found such.. bizarre music while looking for this. I'll report back if I find it or find a song I think could be it.

Be warned, anon. This song very well might have been somebody's own song they sent in on the radio and never released.

Come As You Are - Sonnet Simmons

Don't bother looking for it, you won't find it anywhere. It's specifically a marketing song so it's unlikely anybody besides Simmons herself or people in the advertising industry have even heard the full thing.

Why do you want such a generic song? I've heard 1000 like it before in those shitty types adverts. There are entire firms who literally only make music like this for advertising. Here's her talking about about writing music to follow the current trends.

Just go to your search engine of choice (DuckDuckGo/Startpage) and enter: site:http://rutracker.org/forum/ followed by what you are searching for. You can of course also narrow down the search results further by putting your search request in “brackets” like this:

I believe this "Alfa Mist" individual has put out a lot of music that I like. I haven't scoured through his entire discography but it seems as though every time I sample something by him, I like it.

From my understanding, Jazz is done. There is nothing new under the Sun when it comes to Jazz. Everything possible within Jazz has been discovered. No rock has been left unturned. What this means then is that whatever Alfa Mist is doing, somebody already did it before him (and probably better, too). Alfa Mist himself admits in an interview I read that he came to Jazz because he liked hearing Jazz samples. It doesn't sound like he formally studied it so it's safe to assume there are those before him who had a better idea of what they were doing.

Where can I find more music like the video attached to this post?

Could you guys help me out seek a popular indie band I forgot the name?

Pic unrelated.

Sorry for the dumb question, but cut me at least a bit of slack, english isn't my native language and I didn't listen to the genre for a long while (maybe alzheimer's kicked in and I'm wrong about the genre too).

It was a clip about a vintage convertible car, chrome tires so shiny you could blind your eyes, the band members having a ride with an old but surprisingly young looking famous woman (as people in the YouTube comments pointed, I remember this), simple as that. Has some Arcade Fire vibes to it. Maybe it is Arcade Fire and I'm being stupid.

The images flashed into my mind and it is now a burning question.

Please help me find a Black Metal band I discovered a few years ago called something like 'Kona' or 'Krona.' In the youtube vid of them playing live, the singer was shirtless and really buff, and many of the comments fixated on that. I'm pretty sure they were Eastern European and I almost want to say from somewhere in the Balkans.

It's annoying because I could probably find it again if youtube search wasn't so cucked
