Nah, there's just two bowls. I guess ones meant to be water and the other food, but they don't really drink the water, so its better just to have two bowls of food. The ginger one is always too scared and runs away at the sight of us, but I was watching it eat what was left of one bowl and go straight to the other one.

Oh darn, I was gonna watch it in theater too but never got around to and the person who I was counting on to come with me didn't really remind me either. You know it sucks because the movie actually bombed at the box-office and both of us didn't really help. Still the movie got very high reviews from both fans and critics, so it's on its way to become a cult-classic like its predecessor which also bombed initially, so all's good. The sequel didn't look in need for a continuation either so. The good news is that it's really good, in my opinion. The high quality rip came out just a few days ago, I have a nice 5GB 720p version we can stream if you want. I might buy the Bru-Ray later.

I think that whole scene is a travesty especially in the sound department and script. I was sure that there were things like glass breaking on the plane before any men even hit it, but now that I rewatched it, one window is broken from gun shots before the men hit the side of the place then more windows are broken in the same fashion. I was sure that was a major blooper in effects but it made sense when I looked closer. The plane breaking up isn't that bad as far as effects are concerned but I always thought that scene deserved to become a meme on account of how bad it was.

Yeah I'd like to go exploring and take photos of places I like, some of which I've been to like the blue lagoon and some waterfall places maybe.
I might go on a camping trip around the country to explore it better, haven't really decided but I'd really like to get out more this year.
I'm not sure if the new camera can do long exposure so it might be better to use the old camera for that. The 7 megapixel one still works but it has an annoyance of having to hold the battery cover shut to do stuff on it and moisture got into it so it has a spot on the lens which gets onto the photos, but if its used for night time photos it shouldn't be an issue since it wouldn't be as visible. Old one might also take more photos on one charge since its lower resolution, I'm not sure yet. But I really like the new one.

I've been working on figuring out the best way for me to move out for a while.. The city is too expensive for me to live in by myself, there are lots of oppressing things in the city and outside the city and towns its pretty barren in most places. Transportation has been a big issue for me so I've been looking into alternatives. There are few ways I see that I could move out.. one would be to get a job and work for a small land, or place maybe if its small I wouldn't have to pay much in taxes off it. I could also try roughing it and be lawless but that would most likely mean no internet and would be questionable in terms of food and stuff. I could also invent or popularize something revolutionary or win the lottery to make lots of money that would solve the moving out issue. Or I could buy a one way ticket out of the country and see if I could live somewhere else easier. I'm not really considering the last option except as a last resort.

Finding a good job might take a while and then it hits the transportation issue again, its too cold and icy to use a bicycle much in the winter and I don't like taking the busses, they're also kinda expensive. Having the hover drive would really help, I had some issues with getting it to work before but I'm pretty confident it could work if its powered and set up in the right way.

It used to be cheaper but its still cheap compared to some other things, like having a car or using a taxi. I tried moving out before and got a cheap car at the time but it had issues and broke down and it was just more trouble than it was worth. I believe that using electricity in a certain way can produce unidirectional thrust without using rotors. I read a lot relating to driving mechanisms like that, Nikola Tesla mentioned it and T.T. Brown's apparatus got classified at some point so I'm pretty sure there's something to it. I haven't done lifter experiments yet but would really like to get something working this year.

I found some threads today that might work better for the tablet weaving, I'm going to see if I can make a Miku type band first and then see about making other color bands later.
These 2 color threads are both 100% cotton and pretty similar. I think the darker one has a bit more shine and the lighter one's a tiny bit more yarn like, but they're thinner than any yarn I used to use before and less stretchy.
It takes a bit to set this up, I just made a simple shuttle thing and the threads have to be cut to the right lenghts. I have 24 cards each with 4 holes so that makes 96 threads to thread through and each of those have to be a certain length for it to work. I don't know yet if I can get all 96 threads threaded, before I run out of thread but until now its worked out fine.

For a 2 hour holly wood adaption, it was pretty good. It was an anachronism of every GitS universe so far.
What pissed me off more than anything was the SJWs who came out of the woodworks to whine about the "whitewashing" before the movie came out. Because:
1) It was never confirmed "Major Kusanagi" was her real name, it was heavily implied to just be a codename.
2) Mamoru Oshii (director of the original 1995 movie) himself said he didn't see the casting of Scarlette Johanssen as a problem nor whitewashing.
3) Slightly related to point 2) but the Major's body was fully cyberized and so could have looked like anything.
4) Related to point 3), a recurring themes throughout the GitS multiverse is the idea of identity and it's nature in an increasingly cyberized (and therefore less physical) world. And thus everyone whining about "whitewashing" missed the point entirely about everything.
For all these reasons I was laughing so hard when it was finally revealed as to why her name was changed to Miia.
One thing I enjoyed was In the original 1995 movie, the Major and Project 2501 were both shot by Section 6 snipers. But in the new movie, Saito (who was epic in Stand Alone Complex); sniped the Section 6 snipers before Kuze/Project 2501 and the Major were both shot.

Oh yeah, I did indeed have my doubts about ScarJo as the Major at first.
But you know how 🍊 and I are always watching Marvel movies? She played the Black Widow in an Avengers movie months before the two characters are very similar. So yeah, I was convinced she wasn't a bad cast.
Also, while I was in the capital, I got to see some of the geisha bots & the body suit used in the movie. Along with some props from LotR. And also the one and only fully working Warthog from the Halo games in the world (Weta Workshops was commissioned to make a Halo movie, but it got cancelled).
