If any of you guys here are interested in doing that kind of work for a living there's a good course on Blender Cloud about using Blender to do that kind of work. Blender can actually do that kind of stuff rather well and competes pretty effectively with very expensive products like NUKE at doing this kind of stuff.

As you may know, a few years ago, YAMAHA released the AG03 Miku edition mixer. It's a pretty decent mixer liked for its easy to use interface.
Someone brought to my attention that CREATORSLAND are selling it (used) at a pretty decent price: 8,980 Yen (before tax). ~82 USD

Implying I would know what to do with a mixer. I saw that it has a pre-amp, it can simulate a guitar amp in software and other neat features that definitely made me want it. (but I want a lot of things)
It works for synthesizers and other instruments, microphones etc. I can't say if it has anything more to it other than having a custom plastic shell with Miku on it. Apparently it gets along well with V3, V4, Cubase, things from Sonicwire, or at least they endorse it, but can't say if it has any features related to the software.
Good luck finding a review in English. I chose this one because the guy has taste and used The M Machine - Superflat in the video.

I saw it used for $382.04 and $594.27 new on Amazon, $245.00 new on Ebay, so it definitely sounds like a good deal. So if you're an audio enthusiast and don't have your guitar in the closet like me, are around Akihabara, or have a way to import then you might want to check it out.
