>Okay Hashmal is actually pretty cool. Not gonna lie. Basically an edgy looking metal gear with a mind of it's own. Shame it's kit is overpriced.
Eh, it's pretty alright considering just how much plastic you're getting with it:
Hashmal itself is easy twice the size of a standard HG and comes not only with it's own stand but one for its' Pluma drone/tail, PLUS accessory and effect parts.
On top of all that, there aren't a whole lot of Mobile Armor models anyways.
But yeah, the Hashmal Arc really showcases where IBO falls flat; A fucking awesome set-up… That mostly goes nowhere and even is ended rather anti-climatically via flashback.
Basically all that comes out of it is heavier hinting at McGillis' delusional worship of Agnika Kaieru, the founder of Gjallarhorn, as well as a BIT more justification for why the setting is so anti trans-humanist.
This is ESPECIALLY painful when an emblem found both on Hashmal and early Barbatos (and Bael when we see it) hints that the Mobile Armors and Gundams actually share the same creators, making one question whether the entire Calamity War wasn't just one huge conspiracy!
This also personally pisses me off, as no sane human being would have made unstoppable, self-sustaining kill bots both WITHOUT A FAILSAFE and PROGRAMMED TO KILL EVERYONE!
…I mean, how can my self-insert make one his daughteru if we don't even know what actually went into their creation?!
