The area is a playground nowadays though, and the farm fields got flattened to make some suburbs.
Seen a few travel shows that went there, and it looked like it could be very interesting to just explore random buildings and try to figure out how it was like there before it all went down.

Weird to grow up and see how much the city has changed and grown with multiple new suburbs appearing out of nowhere in the past ~15 years.
Well, I mean, you're not allowed near the Chernobyl NPP due to the high doses of radiation still embedded in the concrete there, but the city of Pripyat is quite mellow with radiation and it would take a week of living in there to get a bit sick from it.
