Around two years ago, a man claiming to be a 33rd-degree Freemason contacted me while I was selling books online. He was desperately searching for *Cosmic Manuscript* by Dallas W. Thompson. I didn't have it, but I decided to help him find it.
What followed was one of the strangest research rabbit holes I've ever encountered.
I searched Amazon, eBay, PDF repositories, old forums, Yahoo Groups, Reddit, Google Images, and the Wayback Machine. Yet, reliable information about the book was almost nonexistent. Even finding its cover proved surprisingly difficult.
According to various accounts, Thompson experienced a near-death experience after a car accident, reportedly lost his eyesight, and underwent a spiritual awakening that supposedly gave him extraordinary insights into subjects humanity wasn't meant to understand.
The book allegedly explores metaphysics, humanity's genetic origins, the purpose of existence, and the Hollow Earth theory. Some claim Thompson became obsessed with reaching the Earth's interior, regardless of the personal cost.
What's particularly suspicious are reports of scanned PDFs repeatedly disappearing from the internet.
Multiple people allegedly uploaded copies to different websites, only for the posts to be deleted shortly afterward or the websites to go offline. In some cases, the websites reportedly returned, but the specific posts containing the PDFs had vanished completely.
This raises questions about whether someone is deliberately preventing access to the book. Some suspect government involvement, or even a concealed network of powerful interests often called the *deep state* or *shadow government*. I cannot independently confirm these suspicions, but the reported pattern deserves investigation.
Another intriguing lead is a reported Art Bell radio broadcast featuring Thompson discussing his work.
I've also encountered claims that surviving copies have been offered for $100,000–$150,000, although I haven't verified any actual sales at those prices.
