Oftentimes I contemplate going for big wealth, but I just can't commit myself to it. I already have everything I want. Whenever I try to conceptualize what my life would look like if I were rich, all I can see is work. I'm happier to just convince the universe to deliver my groceries and pursue more visceral goals.

One time, while living in a fairly strict religious cult, I heard some "forbidden" music. Some seriously bluesy rock and roll (probably Stevie Ray Vaughan) and asked the Holy Spirit "What do I do about this?"

The distinct answer was "Enjoy?". True story.

We can take this whole way too seriously. We really are watched over and cared for, and can live just exploring and being alive versus trying to nail down every aspect of our existence.

>I'll wager most of us grew up in poverty. Your average upper-middle-class chad doesn't have any reason to breach the fabric of reality

Poverty is a relative thing. Many rich people are poor in spirit, and start doing drugs out of boredom, engaging in degenerate parties and wasting the earth's resources for nothing. They could also follow a spiritual path, some of them do, but it's likely they have the material riches because they chose those over spiritual wealth sometime in the past, and that is what they since have with them. I could theoretically have pursued those things but I had zero motivation to do so. Money is material and I was obsessed with death and the futility of it all from an early age. I do not believe someone is truly blocked from achieving material goals if they really wanted, but it comes at the price of losing your spiritual proficiency. I can see the choices I made looking back and if I had wanted money I could have picked the mind numbing programmer career. But to what end? I would not have made my life or anyone else's life better by making another FPS game. At most I'd inspire some lone shooter and unintentionally support accelerationism. I can do better than that.

This is pretty much what I was shooting for before I went full-on into magic. I still like coding, but I do it as a hobby, and haven't released anything publicly in years.

Like you said, to what end? I'm not interested in being a code monkey for some enterprise management firm, wasting all my mental and emotional energy in exchange for a mediocre 6-figure salary. I can afford a much better life now, while spending far less than 1% of my time actually earning anything. There's no reason to worry about money when you can dump a few hundred in stocks a day, then just magic those stocks into growing several times. Usually I don't even watch the stocks until a few weeks after, when I've scheduled them to peak.

As far as I'm concerned this is peak /comfy/ for an occultist, I can spend as much time as I want researching forbidden tech, developing spiritually, or just fucking around on 8kun.

I could put in 20% my time, do a Soros, and embrace my inner accelerationist ultra-zionist, but that would be a waste of time.

>I struggle to pay rent since I have no home.

<I struggle to pay rent

<I wish I owned a home

(this is a non sequitur)

>Tell me again how money is NOT holding me down?

<If I had money I would control my circumstances

>You are the kind of person who would even tell a disabled person to "get up and fucking walk!". Your kind still needs to learn a lot about polarity.

<You don't understand me because I'm a victim and you are not. I'm special.

>So fuck you

<My being special means I can exercise violence against you and I will in order to protect my victim status and my right to lie to myself so that I don't have to own my life

Every situation can be changed. Every lesson can be learnt and wielded. But in order to have any control over anything you first need to own it. You can blame your parents for your starting conditions (not even that, if you take into account reincarnation, but that's beyond this post), but not what you make of them.

Instead of defending your unsolvable victim status, why don't you tell me how are you planning to realize your dreams? Or are you convinced you will never achieve anything and are ready to blame others for it?

The alternative to what? The original poster simply lamented that a lack of money is indeed holding them down, and I indirectly reaffirmed his position because I agree. Maybe if people weren't coping into oblivion, trying to justify why they're not rich to keep up the pretence that they're totally powerful wizards we could maybe actually have a thread about financial gain using occult means, and help out people like that instead of defaulting to self-help nonsense.

The problem with this board has always been that everybody likes to LARP as a powerful wizard parroting whatever shit they've read in their regurgitated meme books, while having zero abilities. Then when confronted with this fact (by a thread like this, asking a question like 'why are you not rich) they have to keep the act going and come up with all sorts of excuses. If people actually admitted that they're all a bunch of LARPers, maybe we would actually get somewhere.

The point people have been trying to make here is that they don't care about being rich, but then folks like you (and that other guy if you're not samefagging) respond with "HAHAHAHA COPE HOW COULD SOMEONE POSSIBLY NOT OBSESS OVER MONEY". You can't seem to fathom that for some people it isn't a concern. There are more important things to life, folks like you just haven't realized it. And like others have said, you have no alternative to the advice that was given. It is literally as simple as taking action to take control of your life. There's nothing else to it. You might be looking for some special trick to escape like there's some sort of secret formula, but in reality it actually is that simple, you're just to lazy to accept it. Those self-help guys aren't full of shit, as you seem to think. The alternative is lamenting your situation and crying about how "woe is me" and "I am powerless" like you have done ITT. It's such a defeatist and lazy cop out, and only makes your victim mentality worse. If you're gonna complain, at least take some effort to actually improve your circumstances. People in this thread are giving advice to help him/you improve your situation, but he'd/you'd rather complain about how the world has wronged you. Regardless of whether that's true or not, the fact of the matter is that you direct your present circumstances, so you decide where you go from there.

You know that 2016 is still new, right?

Also you suck at majiq.

Anyway if you want a simple money spell that will help you find cash, here's all you do. Take all your loose change, find all the pennies that are relatively pure copper (this means old coins, around the 1980s all the major countries stopped using copper and switched to zinc, each country has their own years).

Now you bless 'em, and it isn't really too important how, just some moment of "these pennies are special now" is all it takes, you've pretty much already put the energy in them by taking the effort to sort through them and find the copper ones so this is just the moment of setting the Intent, the energy's already there. The Intent is it's gonna find you money and come back to you as more (copper has been used for money majiq for like 3000 years, idk why it's better for it, it just is).

So now you've got all of these pennies, go around town and scatter them. Put some of them in random places, some of them choose your target, try to remember where you place them all for fun (this isn't part of the spell, it's just a way to pass the time while you do it). There's this whole thing where it works along white magick principles because when people find a penny they think it's a sign of good fortune, so you're spreading good fortune that it may come back to you. Pretty basic stuff along the principles of majiq which if you've studied means you understand how this spell puts theory to practice.

Jew magick is money magick, aka "The Gnomes of Zurich". It's strong because it's mass mind control, no shit. It also only works on the weakminded, I've paid the gas attendant in scrap paper before, I'm not proud of it I'm just saying: It's easy to tell someone something worthless is valuable and get them to believe it, but that's why Christ described the faithful as a flock of sheep and the mighty as their watchful shepherd protecting them. Power abhors incompetence and so one who abuses power is assured of having it stripped from them in time, it's simply the nature of the tool that it rejects impure hands.

The hilarious thing about the term "LARP" btw: It's pretty easy to get occultists to agree that [most/all] video games are rituals embedded unconsciously and being participated in unknowingly, tabletop games were acknowledged as ritualistic in the 80s and 90s, and yet we're just pretending that actual LARPing (going out in the woods and pretending you're a goblin knight) isn't ritualistic considering it's literally the same bullshit as freemason rituals, just pagan.

Don't learn coding, learn about real estate. Learn about money. We are never taught about money. An asset is something that puts money in your pocket, a liability is something that takes money from your pocket. Most people think houses, cars, savings are assets, in reality they are liabilities, they are assets for the bank, liabilities for the person. Rental properties, subscription services are assets. Get into real estate, get into rental properties. You collect a couple thousand each month for each property (depending on location etc). You don't have to do anything(you got to set it all up and get someone to manage your properties but after that all you do is collect the payments each month), you collect thousands every month. Create a limited liability corporation for a couple of hundred dollars(you can do it on legalzoom iirc). Put the rental properties under your LLC(limited liability corporation) so if you ever get sued, they cant take your assets(the rental properties). Learn more about money. Wealth is a skill. After you amass some assets, create a business, hire a developer you can trust, have em build whatever the fuck you want, pay em industry standard wages (like 100k for a decent dev, 150k for a senior or principal dev), meanwhile you collect millions on the product, use that money to expand or buy more assets(rental properties). Continue. Don't learn coding. Complete waste of time and energy. It requires an insane amount of time and dedication, moreso than the best medical doctors imo, good programmers have to always be learning, programmers have to learn very quickly, even medical doctors are not faced with a constant onslaught of difficult to learn topics nonstop for their entire career, at some point the medical doctor will settle in to their field and no longer need to learn new stuff. Not so for programmers, good programmers have to be always learning, but good programmers get paid shit comparatively to medical doctors. But even medical doctors make chump change compared to business owners. Get into real estate my friend. Become a business owner after acquiring assets in real estate(rental properties).

Top quality post, the only thing I don't really agree with is the notion of savings being a "liability". Personally I am saving up to buy a house outright so that I don't risk being in debt with the banks - when I own my first house I will consider taking out a loan to buy a second property to rent out.

The shortsighted borrow money to buy things, the rich and shrewd borrow money to make themselves wealthier.

If I was wealthier then I would have the means to spend more time and effort "cultivating my inner garden". Why spend your life slaving away so you have food to eat when you can cultivate assets to generate income for you?

I'm a total newfig (literally my first post) but I have accumulated quite a large net worth for someone my age. Whilst it's kind of a chicken and egg situation, I started being financially successful shortly after practicing affirmations and visualisation techniques. Not sure if this is considered magic.

My job is pretty easy and pays minimum wage, and I enjoy the company of the people I work with for the most part. They money has come from a string of good investments, something I've only been partaking in for around a year. I think it's worth mentioning that I don't actually live "rich" yet at least. I still take the bus, live with my mom and wear the same four outfits in rotation. The secret is to be happy where you are - then you're never disappointed when you realise that money won't make you happy.
