The 7 Hermetic Principles | #WitchBabyWednesdays

>I started off on Youtube in 2009 doing music videos just to get over my fear of singing in public. Since then Youtube has grown into a home for me to connect with & inspire my beloved followers.

By accepting that you can in fact see across time and getting some experience of this either personally or through witnessing another.

>Which among us have done this thing?

Only those who have personally attained competence in this matter would know.

>"Even the greatest of men have not discovered the ultimate nature of truth, so how can we?"

Ultimate truth of nature is different from seeing into the past or future.

What, exactly, has been taken from this oh so glorious East? Never mind that both geographical currents developed from the same, common Aryan source, it's clear that Western occult thought has an entirely different character, and embraces nothing specific of the Eastern traditions.

The ancient Chaldean mysteries are pretty much the closest school to the East, geographically, and is still vastly superior to the pathetic tricks and delusions practiced by the Asiatic "masters". Anyone with a strong enough mentality can walk on coals and melt the snow off of a mountaintop, stuff like levitation is easily attained by even lackluster initiates, and the Western spiritual path need not be compared to the destructive ego-death of Vedic "enlightenment".

What, then, does the East have to offer, that is not a perversion of Western thought?

Yes, you copy eastern practice and make it ego-centered, you could say it's "an entirely different character". I don't know how many roots and ancestry westerners have, nor do I know the basic history. But beyond theory, almost all western works on practice seem to be borrowed from much older eastern ones, as if lazy to develop their own. And correct me if I'm wrong.

>the pathetic tricks and delusions practiced by the Asiatic "masters"

>walk on coals

>melt the snow

This is what normen talk about. Truthful practitioners don't speak of lowly abilities, they never speak at all. They leave quickly and don't leave traces. There is only very little pure teachings in the third density be it west or east, and even those usually come through failed humans.

>destructive ego-death of Vedic "enlightenment"

>tldr

It's not /pol/, it's basic anthropology. All races, except for very specific exceptions such as negros and the various isolated pygmies, are descended from a single Caucasian root, genetically, linguistically, and spiritually. Virtually all languages can be traced back to Proto-Indo-European, and all spiritual and esoteric traditions have developed from the astrophilic Aryan oral philosophical heritage.

>You copy eastern practica and make it ego-centered

There are a few occult schools that have borrowed from Eastern sources for their practice, and all of them are explicit about it. I don't condone such things, when the West has much more potent practical paths. Laboratory, and personal alchemy, casts a long shadow over any other form of practice. Surely you won't claim that Hermes, and the Classics, have somehow gotten their theory and practice from the far-off East.

>truthful practitioners don't speak of lowly abilities

True, yet sadly, a lot of Eastern schools have fallen into error, with fraudulent gurus and yogis misleading the masses with these petty achievements. One of the few Eastern traditions that have kept their humility of practice are Tibetan Buddhism, as well as the Drukpas of Bhutan- their initiates and masters reach much greater heights, yet never show these things publicly.

Western schools, on the other hand, have taken a different approach. Those who flaunt their abilities needlessly, are kicked out, discredited, and, if need be, disposed of before they can cause serious damage.

Alchemy being a potent practice, let alone even an actual practice, and not mere philoshopy and proto-chemistry, has never crossed my mind. I know Taoist Inner Alchemy but Westerners "practicing" outside of talking in metaphors is an alien concept to me. I think I may know where to look, but where is the "practice"?

Alchemical terms have long been used to express complex philosophical and occult ideas, so it's no wonder that most talk of alchemy is just that- talk. For actual practice, the best example would be Medieval and Renaissance alchemists like Paracelsus. Alchemy is basically self-taught, you won't be given instructions past a few introductory concepts and a description or two for the simplest of operations. The journey of tireless work and experimentation in the laboratory is meant to mirror your actual personal growth, and the more you learn about reality from your studies, the more you learn about yourself. As you learn to work with reality's energies, substances, and influences, you also learn to work with your own.

Alchemists keep their silence very seriously, and the advanced ones will only give you a hint or two about any specific problem. There are forums and discussion groups where things like laboratory setups and synthesis techniques are openly talked about, but no decent alchemist will mention the specifics of an experiment or operation.

Almost all did, in fact I don't even know one that didn't(mind giving me an example or two?). Not even your "basics" like IIH aren't borrowed.

>and all of them are explicit about it.

They all rebrand the teachings in the greed of human ego. Hermeticists might've studied original philosophy but they had to turn to the east when they needed real practice. Any of the many theologies and even something like islam could suddenly incorporate meditations from the east and claim it was all original and shit and that it was because of THEIR own philosophy that they reached this conclusion. Practice is practice and only practice, and the east does it best because they are not a bunch of artistic metaphorical materialists like the west.

>I don't condone such things

Who are you to condone what you wigger? What is there to "condone"? Why are you so attached to lowly human terms? Westerners masturbate the teachings, encapsulate them to satisfy their lowly human "culture" and instincts.

>Laboratory, and personal alchemy, casts a long shadow over any other form of practice.

Laboratory? Personal alchemy? What the fuck are you on about? These are the fundamental things that ALL practices are based on, there is nothing exclusive about "alchemy". And why the fuck do you wests have to call it "alchemy" anyway? You fucking love metaphors don't you? Everything about you ties you to the lowly human ego, which you base occultism on, which will never allow you to leave this place. This is also why you consider NOT killing the ego in the first place. You don't give a fuck as to why you theoretically shouldn't do it, you just desperately want to cling on the filthy ego that makes you a filthy fucking human.

>Surely you won't claim that Hermes, and the Classics, have somehow gotten their theory and practice from the far-off East.

And neither did they get it from the west, thoth was egyptian. And mind telling me where their original practice is? All I see is theory.

Wow, that totally must secure your glorious white new age bullshit heritage doesn't it? No. Western schools(and where are these "schools" lmao) are not unique to such "approach". >I just randomly read one line

>Not gonna bother to read the entire post either.

I've read the entire argument so far. Both anons seem very smart, know their history, and make many valid points. It's worth a read.

Levitation? Cool. I don't believe I'll ever be able to fly around like Superman or throw balls of chi at people in this world, but I'm okay with that. I wouldn't say that "anybody" can learn how to walk on coals, lay on a bed of spikes, or smash blocks of ice. It takes a great deal of concentration to perform these feats and not everyone has the focus to do it. I've seen many rekt threads where tricks like that have gone wrong. Like breathing flames, if you don't know what you're doing and randomly try it for the lulz, there's a good possibility you'll set your face on fire. Same with spiritual "practices," if you're not careful or don't know what you're doing, you can lose your mind or damage your spirit.

Being western myself, I'll only focus on the Proto-Indo-European practices because it's what's most readily available and easiest to understand for me. I understand what East anon is saying though, but I can also sense his anger. Westerners are more materialistic and I think too much ceremony does shit up the intent sometimes. Easterners like Monks and Yogis are detaching themselves from this worldly existence and I think that's pure intent and a best practice we should all be learning.

East anon is correct that race should be irrelevant to the practice. I care not who said what first either. I believe that the "Om" from a group of druids at Stonehenge can be just as powerful as the "Aum" (ॐ) from monks at a Tibetan monastery. With faith and knowledge, any practice can be powerful. Practices like meditation and prayer are like running and jumping to me. They don't exclusively belong to any school or church, east or west. To argue about whose meditation is the best seems petty. What matters most is DOES IT WORK for the practitioner. We may have different paths, but they all lead to the same destination. This world is temporary. Race, history, ceremony, materials, none of it will matter once we reach escape velocity and shed this meat bag. I will try to respect and learn from all ways during my journey.

“It is bad when one thing becomes two. One should not look for anything else in the Way of the Samurai. It is the same for anything that is called a Way. Therefore, it is inconsistent to hear something of the Way of Confucius or the Way of the Buddha, and say that this is the Way of the Samurai. If one understands things in this manner, he should be able to hear about all Ways and be more and more in accord with his own.” - Yamamoto Tsunetomo

“If you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency and vibration.” - Nikola Tesla

I don't know why East anon is so internally disturbed. I've very specifically stated that both the Eastern and Western traditions stem from Proto-Indo-European, that they're both Aryan. In fact, I additionally stated that there's very few peoples who do not descend from this common Aryan root. Even the Africans are technically descended from the Aryan people, though they've bred and hybridized with other species along the way. It seems the anger shown in this thread is just an internalized inferiority complex, and we should not blame East anon for it.

There's actually little ceremony in Western magic, the druidic tradition focused on memorizing massive amounts of occult and technical knowledge, in the form of poems and epics, the Chaldean mysteries were centred around altered states of consciousness and contemplative meditation, with the only ritualistic branch being the Solomonary-Masonic tradition, with their complex symbolic workings.

As you've said, many core techniques and practices are virtually the same, the biggest difference is in the character, and aim, of the occult work. The East generally chases after the dissolution of the Self, while the West pursues the divinization of the Self, or theosis. There are exceptions and inversions in both cases, but generally this is the mentality of each current.

Having no respect for your race, history, ceremony, and materials, shows experience on your part. You, your Self, have decided on living this life, as a man of your race, following a specific history, going through complex ceremonies, and being dependent and reliant on the materials of your work. There is significance in each of these things, and especially in the body you call a "meat bag". That meat bag is as much a part of You as your spirit, mind, and soul- you wouldn't be able to take action, live, and grow, without it. How would you attain enlightenment without this detestable meat bag? If it supports you on your journey of realization, surely it is not a despicable thing, don't disregard it.

I've ordered a copy of the Bhagavad Gita, which I'm very much looking forward to, feeling drawn toward. I have a copy of the Keys of Solomon, collecting dust because I don't feel compelled to read it yet. Any thoughts on the works of Crowley? Instead, I'm feeling more conviction to learn Enochian magick and study the Golden Dawn. The reason I'm bumping this thread is because another book at this junction is the Kybalion. Should I read the Kybalion first before any Enochian/GD literature or would it be a distraction or waste of my time? Curious about the opinions of Hermeticists regarding the Kybalion.

The Kybalion is trash, read the Hermetic Corpus if you want to get the core ideas and lexicon of hermeticism.

If you're drawn to the Golden Dawn and related western currents, Zanoni is a foundational work off of which numerous fraternities were based. Most importantly, read what catches your eye in the present moment. We all have dozens of obscure and esoteric books stashed away, yet to be read, and adding more to that pile will do no good.

pro tip you pleabian faggot, the caucasus is not iraq/iran. iraq and iran are the middle east. you must be an american middle class pleabian that went to the marxist indoctrinated public school system and did not learn geography that good. its a typical trait of you ignorant cunts. sad to see a free country turn socialist dumbing down its populus for so long.

>>>is basically what I've been saying throughout the thread.

you were sprooking total bullshit, some white supremacy bullshit, mystery teachings not having to do much with the east, yadda yadda yadda. it must be something you value, the color of your skin which you define yourself by, if there is not much more you have to hold on because you are a middle class pleabian with not much more than his skin color that does not understand the mystery religions. it is a shame all of you normal pleabians getting into deeply occult teachings and messing it up with your dumb little minds. you always will be a slave. it would be like all of you pleabians moving to my country of monaco taking the appeal of the whole thing, making it some middle class socialist mcdonaldisation thingy. fu*k off. enslavement for you freedom for me. why am i even talking to you wannabe occultist faggot there is not a point - except telling you do not have the slightest idea. before you start making it a race thingy in your little mind, i am of northern italian origin but not like i would give a f that my skin is white.

Why does this not surprise me?

The eternal Venetian exists only to corrupt and destroy.

I find it funny being relegated to the American middle class, having lived in Eastern Europe all my life and all.

Go on with your delusions, though. If what you see in my posts is white supremacy, it is because your mentality cannot process information beyond that level of identity and tribalism, but that's to be expected from a Venetian.

Imagine having to live in a shithole like Monaco to avoid this. Of course, for a failed magician like you, achieving duty-free status outside a tax heaven would be impossible.

And the Venetian ethos marches on. You're the only one seeing racism here, but that's a given, knowing your genetics.

>>>having to live in a shithole like Monaco

considering Monaco a "shithole" sounds a bit funny, but i guess if you are into poverty and socialism with a lot of envy, you may try to talk it bad that you feel better for yourself for the working taxed pleabian you are. actually i am in CZ at the moment, i have several real estate around the world but i get "taxed" in Monaco due to residency. your faggot magic does not tell you how to avoid taxes i guess. i guarantee if you find a way to avoid taxes legally with some kind of "magic" you will be set for the rest of your life, haha. i really would like to know if you believe this bullshit you are writing but it is hilarious.

>>>failed magician like you

you do not understand anything, or? i mean you did not even get the origin of the mysteries right, you really do not understand what all this bullshit mystery is about. ever was a member in any secret society? ever had to do with people from the higher echelons?

it is like when pleabians get into luxury, just fucking obnoxious and you spot them from 100meters away, they have no idea.

>>>And the Venetian ethos marches on. You're the only one seeing racism here, but that's a given, knowing your genetics.

You clearly have no idea about basic anthropology, but I'll humor you.

>you did not even get the origin of the mysteries right

The mysteries originated with our current frame of civilization, which started with the Proto-Indo-European race in the Caucasus region. You've cited Babylon as the origin of the Mysteries, and this shows a very limited understanding of the inner secrets of the occult. Babylon is where the high-masonic occult current was developed, and by no means the birthplace of magic itself.

>considering Monaco a shithole

>you are into poverty and socialism

If I wanted to be co-resident with every washed-up heir of a degenerate banking family, I'd definitely envy you.

>your faggot magic does not tell you how to avoid taxes I guess

On the contrary, it is exactly through magic that I've achieved my current tax-free lifestyle of luxury and pure /comfy/. Naturally, obtaining anything through occult labours is an alien concept to you, if you had to stoop so low as to become a resident of a tax heaven just to avoid tax. Real elites don't use tax heavens.

>if you find a way to avoid taxes legally

>you will be set for the rest of your life

Is exactly what I've done. Naturally, for a Venetian low-IQ cuck, trying to actually achieve material liberation is a fool's errand.

>ever was a member in any secret society

>ever had to do with people from the higher echelons

>like when plebeians get into luxury

I'm starting to think you're larping. Shitposting aside, you do know most /fringe/ posters check both boxes, right? This all sounds like you've stumbled onto the most exoteric mysteries of one lodge or another, and are now parading it around thinking it's the highest enlightenment that man can achieve. There's inner orders within inner orders, the secrets of which you can't even comprehend.

I say no, it all started in Babylon, state which civilization started the Mysteries in your crazy opinion, caucasus is very vague.

>>>degenerate banking family

these "degenerates" have a the biggest say in how the world goes round.

>>>Real elites don't use tax heavens.

sure, real elites do "magic" in some pleabian eastern european gypsie village like Teplice. a lot of these types walking around in CZ, people here do not like them. are you f kidding me?

>>>Is exactly what I've done.

give a hint, its the next big thingy, how do you dodge tax legally residing in non tax havens as a materialistc wealthy individual?

otherwise stfu because you are talking the utter most bs possible.

thats more than larping, thats just insane bogus.

actually i find them to be quiet a bunch of faggots if you are referring to freemasonic teachings. you are clearly full of crap if you really believe there is such a thing as "magic". ever heard the word deception?

..and still did not answer in which secret societes you were part of.

>>>the secrets of which you can't even comprehend

,

i am well aware of the hidden secrets, its not really mind blowing but quiet obvious for anybody who has a basic understanding of how society works. you fag seem to be very mislead believing some utter harry potter bs.
