Something as simple as not driving while too drunk is a magic skill not everyone has. No matter how great you think you are overconfidence may get the best of you and you end up going from dry to alcoholic or think you can drive after getting wasted. Then you kill somebody and your life is ruined. You could also be driving after overworking and mjssing a meal and get in a wreck that leaves you paralyzed. Generally you can't defy them, for me it's more about mastering your own mind and mental state. So that you can control yourself to be in a mental state that would help you accomplish life goals you set for yourself. You make an oath to yourself, a secret to actually commit to your success and then accomplish it. For most people a state of anger is not productive and to be avoided. The anon should have stated instead that you will find it very easy to align your emotions with your endgoal. Not being in control of your emotions, feelings, destiny and needs in life would make you vulnerable to emotions (not just anger) that can be destructive towards your goals. the way I see magic is that if you do spells that it possibly creates a

Reality manipulation, usually, if you're smart, through the manipulation of probabilities.

Theoretically yes, but it's a stupid idea to do so. Magic works through the subconscious. The people actively doing it just train their subconscious to be better at manipulating reality, but that doesn't mean that others don't do it naturally to a smaller extent.

That means that if you want to change something that is observed by others, you're actively fighting against their subconscious when manifesting it.

Probabilities meanwhile are not consciously observed and therefore are a lot easier to manipulate, meaning bigger effects for less effort (Look at Dee and the Spanish Armada for an example of this).

It's also usually better to do magic for results and let the universe pick the means, because it's not unlikely that the means you picked will not necessarily lead to the result you hoped for.

I got started in the magick world through chaos magick. Replying to old digits. This is true, but you need to know what you're doing. Otherwise anger and negative emotions in general will fuck you up if you keep them close without control.

Actual example: if you cast a curse and output a lot of negativity but fail to connect energetically with your target before you open the floodgates, you will create a cloud around you that will affect you more than your target. Also that's why you should learn when to banish after a ritual and when not to.
