I assume you're being sarcastic, but yes. It's because Black Knight, like Secret Rings, is entirely on rails. You can only move Sonic forward, backward, and strafing left or right. The challenge comes from the fact that you don't have a boost button that lets you plow through every obstacle.

All of the characters besides Sonic rarely show up and when they do, they're useless or portrayed in unlikeable ways such as Tails being a coward or Knuckles being an idiot. There's nothing for the cartoonfags to enjoy. Same with Adventurefags since the 3D games are mostly 2.5D now.

It's not going to happen but let's pretend it does. god this so much. So many people don't understand. 06 may have killed the series but Colors is what cemented that in place and made it so that the franchise could never be revived any time soon. Colors was the first """3d""" Sonic game to be mostly 2D where the 2D was slow and tedious with shit level design. They had the Classic Sonic games to look to for level design and physics and they didn't bother. It was also the first game that Kishimoto directed and of course since it was received well and sold well, they gave him full reign of the franchise. That's why we got Lost World and Forces with blocky level design and horrible physics. It's all his fault and by extension Colors' fault. Nothing will ever improve. Sega sees those review scores and sales and they don't get it. They see people still defending Colors as the only two good 3D Sonic game (Generations being the other which also suffers from barely being 3D and poor level design outside of Green Hill and Seaside Hill) and think it's perfect and the gold standard for what 3D Sonic should be.

Ok, as much as I'm kinda happy for this, that SEGA is actually for once giving TIME to their devs on their projects, I hope this means Team Dev of TSR actually takes advantage of this and make the game actually look good. I highly doubt they're delaying the game to improve the quality. Just look at Forces. I hate to bring up Sonic 06 since it's been 12 years but yeah, look at that too. All rushed for Christmas releases. Kids' games sell so well November/December and missing a holiday release is huge. I'm 99% sure the only reason TSR is getting delayed is because of how many other games are releasing this November/December. Pokemon Let's Go, Spyro, Smash, etc. They're all aimed at kids just like TSR. Every console + PC has at least one big game coming to it. There's no way TSR would stand out. Blitz3D is ancient. I am pretty sure it predates Unity or at least the Blitz language does. I was surprised to find out Sonic World was made in Blitz3D because even with all the weird visual artifacts and stuff I think it looks good for a Blitz3D game, though it may be because I always associate Blitz3D with MDickie games because I think that it is his engine of choice.
