Dunno about gender of the roommate, but in regards to blitz3D, it's basically a kinda old engine people used to make 3D Sonic fangames back in the late 2000s-early 2010s. A lot of the projects done on it (like World) were pretty damn janky & Unity will likely be an improvement over it, if done right.

LOL. Last version I played of this was R6 and that had a lot of weird artifacts and shit, especially in the sky. Just tried R8 on an i7-5820K and GTX 980 and it still has weird artifacts and shit.

Blitz3D is ancient. I am pretty sure it predates Unity or at least the Blitz language does. I was surprised to find out Sonic World was made in Blitz3D because even with all the weird visual artifacts and stuff I think it looks good for a Blitz3D game, though it may be because I always associate Blitz3D with MDickie games because I think that it is his engine of choice.

Sonic X Amy wasn't interesting, she revolved too much around Sonic.
