Most won't look at a single one of them and the ones that do look at them will only look at the ones they are already accustomed to: the most obvious case of this would be the porn boards. The main problem with GAYT was that for some reason instead of doing the magic vs tech scenario the writers instead made it into the most one sided fight pitting technologically backwards medieval civilisation of pikemen and cavalry against automatic rifles tanks and cruise missiles.At no point are the earth forces in any danger against any opponent they go up against or at the very least having to conserve ammunitions or ration supplies since the supply line to their native world isn't in any danger of being cut off.

Lt.MC-dipshit find this out late in the series which pits the JSDF in a dilemma of whether to stay in the New World (where catgirls are real) or go back to Earth, because once the Gate is closed it can't be reopened to the same world for hundreds of years, because reasons.
MC and harem (I think) end up staying along with a few JSDF volunteers/colonists and they end up making Nu-Japan, building an oil-refinery and other shit.

That's essentially it. Sub groups are fan translators not affiliated with any company. They're independent fans that wanna provide subs for shows not in a native language of their region.
