Hey guys, fuckity fucking fuck! I use such words because the writers don't know how else to convey that I'm a bitch since they failed to give me any actual character! Did I mention Star Trek is a mature show for mature people now?
Also apparently the secret Romulan intelligence agency now has their own even secreter intelligence agency that nobody knows anything about, kind of like their own section 31! And nobody knows if they even exist, but luckily Picard's tsundere Romulan maid knows all about them and can tell us right away without any kind of mystery plot to get in the way of our great character driven scenes.
But what I really don't know is why did Picard take a taxi when we have transporters?

The characters in Picard are shaping up to be the exact copies of those in STD. The villain is an Asian female with bad accent. There is a “I fucking love science” female character. The Mary Sue character has a beta lover who is a Klingon/Romulan who schemes against her and so on.

I actually kind of liked this ship design until I saw it in the show and realized the prongs are actually just silly, useless bit of the ship instead of some sort of bad ass looking forward mounted warp nacelles. Even the fucking Defiant looks more trek than this.

Oh hey, /strek/ is finally up on 8kun.
Picard is fucking awful. It is just as bad as Discovery. They try to fool you with Patrick Stewart and the more toned down visuals compared to the dark, Dutch angles of Discovery but in some ways it's worse.
No one in Discovery smokes. No one in Discovery complains about being poor or takes loans. And none of the old actors we respected were dragged into Discovery. I struggle to watch both, but at least STD could be hilarious in its incompetence, Picard is boring too.

I think Picard is way worse than STD. The Picard character is not Picard and it's basically a way for Patrick Stewart to completely destroy the TNG character.
Nothing in this show is original. It's a mashup of every major science-fiction IP. It has been 5 episodes and the plot has not even moved from the start yet but that didn't stop Kurtzman and his crew from killing off one major character.
There's a theory out there about the Romulans and I seriously hope that it's just a theory and nothing more: they might be the creators of the Borg. If that shit turns out to be true then Star Trek is completely dead.

Yeah I'm aware of the theory and it seems more likely by the episode. The dead giveaway was the Romulan secret police that aren't the Tal Shiar having a deeply ingrained primary motivating factor of being terrified of androids, which makes no sense otherwise.
