I heard it is a good app for sharing porn (and other files) anonymously and securely. It routes your connection through the Tor network. It is basically the updated version of TorChat. Here's a link to it (in case if you are curious)......
https://onionshare.org/
Here's a Wikipedia article about it......

I hope you found this information useful.

A well-thought-out app. There was a need for such an app. I've been using it since the day it came out.

Every single avenue is a huge risk except for direct download through Tor and maybe i2p. The only reason Tor is considered "safe" is because we haven't ever seen a court case or document detailing anyone who had been deanonymized through the network. It's always some software exploit or opsec failure that leads to a dark web user's arrest. The feds even dropped a case on a CP downloader because they didn't want to reveal how they deanonymized him. This is why Tor is considered "safe" from a legal standpoint; you kind of have the feds in a tough spot. Even if they did have the ability to deanonymize Tor connections they choose not to for some reason.
Now Onionshare obviously uses Tor, but I would be very cautious of anything that's P2P. There's too much room for exploits and different methods of deep packet inspection.

Yeah, I remember someone got arrested because they had Javascript enabled on an outdated version of Tor Browser. This is why you should always disabled Javascript and always keep Tor Browser updated (from the official website and never from a third party source). And don't install third party apps on Tor Browser which might by-pass the Tor network, and reveal your true ip address. Yeah, most dark web users are arrested from stupid mistakes, like using the same username on the clear web as the dark web. And don't use Brave Browser for accessing the Tor network. Always use Tor Browser, Tails or Whonix.

Don't bother with the Tor network, it is all honeypots, you can easily find illegal content on the clear web, here's a tip, don't post on illegal websites that require using a username, using a username makes it too easy for government agents to build a profile on you, just stick to 8kun, don't go anywhere near the dark web, it is all scams/traps......8kun is a relatively safe site to participate, forgot about the alternatives......

Forget about the dark web, there is plenty of illegal content on the surface web, the dark web is all honeypots, it is too dangerous to access.
