Appearing Thursday on Fox Business Channel’s Mornings with Maria, attorney Sidney Powell said her client, former National Security Advisor Lt. Gen. (ret) Michael Flynn, was planning to “audit” U.S. intelligence agencies before the fateful 2017 interview which the FBI used to prosecute him.

A partial transcript is as follows:

MARIA BARTIROMO: This is September 2018, we don’t have any evidence of collusion. And yet, they still wanted to take down Trump’s campaign, beginning with General Flynn. You basically open this up, this is going to be a domino effect, giving us a window into what really took place. Are their other things that have been declassified that the public needs to see to better understand this?

SIDNEY POWELL: There are things that we still don’t have like the original Flynn 302, the original FBI report. The FBI has not produced that. If Mr. Wray wants to improve anything, I think that would be the first place to start, and then the next draft of it too, because we know there were multiple alternations of it. But there’s no excuse for not having produced the first draft of the FBI 302… Flynn was going to audit the intel agencies that would of included some of the FBI’s work, as well. They were all absolutely terrified of an honest person getting in the job of national security advisor and finding out what they all done, in addition to all the other atrocities.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) suggested holding formal discussions over whether statues of Presidents George Washington and Thomas Jefferson should be taken down, saying she is "all for" such a review.

During an interview Thursday with Washington Post Live, host Robert Costa asked Pelosi for her response to activists who believe "there needs to be a reckoning of some sort" for America's slave-owning Founding Fathers.

Speaker Pelosi said that while she feels any monuments to Confederates should be removed without question—albeit safely—she is also in favor of talks over whether statues depicting the nation's first and third presidents should also be taken down.

"I'm concerned about slavery in our country. I think it's a sin," the Speaker told Costa. "I also am concerned about what happened to Native Americans in our country, so we have a list of grievances that are part of the early years of our country and we do not want that to be continued by glorifying any of the people who perpetrated those injustices."

You're right, I'm not God, and I certainly have the right to TELL someone how to think; that's called free speech, anon. I do NOT have the right to MAKE them think the way I want. That would be a violation of their rights. All I'm saying, is, be ready when someone who's "got the t-shirt" calls out some bullshit.

Being someone that lives an an area where this is still an active discussion, it actually (partially though my vote) IS my decision to make with all my fellow southern voters. Unfortunately for those that hold vehemently to these relics, they are getting outvoted (out numbered if you really want to get down to it), and these things are going to go away. Period. I simply was pointing out that BLM/Antifa are being used to accelerate that process; that's all.

My stance is preserve them in museums. If your stance is "Fly the rebel flag over the capital", then you are advocating, openly, for the principles on which the Confederacy was founded; Self Governance, and the implied constitutional right to Secede. Again, nothing wrong with that, but it flies in the face of our currently reality. One that, as we sit and type, anons are taking an oath to a movement where symbols of division are shunned.

Again, take what I was saying in my original post to task. It's duplicitous to suggest that their removal is "wrong", while pushing an agenda of togetherness and unity (patriotism). I hate that this seems to fly over some folks' heads, but it's the truth.

Now, she says it's just not safe to be outside in crowds because of the continued threat of COVID-19

Washington, D.C., Mayor Muriel Bowser (D) held a press conference Thursday pleading for district residents to celebrate the upcoming Fourth of July holiday at their homes, warning that "large gatherings are still a high-risk activity" because of COVID-19.

No one in the press pool asked the mayor about what might have changed regarding crowd risk since she marched in the streets with hundreds of protesters earlier this month, but she did mention that people are welcome to "protest anywhere in the District of Columbia."

What are the details?

During the introduction of her briefing, Mayor Bowser said, "We want to send a message to our residents to enjoy the Fourth of July, to celebrate according to our guidance, and to do it at home or near their home in small gatherings."

Bowser noted the White House's announcement from last week declaring that President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump will still host the 2020 "Salute to America" celebration on Independence Day, and said it is her hope that the crowd size will be smaller this year than in non-pandemic years.

There also seems to be a misconception regarding who can legally carry a handgun without a License to Carry (LTC) because the governor has issued executive orders related to the COVID-19 public health emergency.
