SpaceX to deliver Iridium NEXT satellites to space in first launch of 2019

Jan. 11 (UPI) – SpaceX and its Falcon 9 rocket are ready to launch the final batch of Iridium NEXT satellites from Vandenberg Air Force Base in California. The Iridium-8 mission is scheduled to launch at 10:31 a.m. ET on Friday.

"Falcon 9 and 10 Iridium NEXT satellites vertical on SpaceX's California launch pad at Vandenberg Air Force Base," SpaceX confirmed via Twitter on Thursday.

SpaceX will provide a live feed of the launch – the first U.S. space launch of 2019. The broadcast will begin 20 minutes prior to liftoff.

"This is the eighth and final set of satellites in a series of 75 total satellites that SpaceX will launch for Iridium's next generation global satellite constellation, Iridium NEXT," SpaceX announced on its website.

According to the private space company, the weather forecast for Friday morning's launch is 60 percent favorable.

Like so many launches in recent weeks, the Iridium-8 mission was twice delayed. It was originally scheduled to launch on Jan. 7.

I mentioned here yesterday that he was Skull & Bones and that I couldn't imagine anyone truly "good" coming from there, and an anon who sounded "helpful" (and had various digit "coincidences" indicative of such) suggested something like "what a great infiltration strategy to get into their societies/circles very early" and that this battle is essentially forever old (spy vs. spy on a generic level) and that "once a Marine always a Marine" and so on and so forth. If you're determined to be a "good guy" in the swamp who wants to undo the swamp, maybe you have to "do some shit" for the MANY years/decades you're living/dealing with the swamp, waiting for that day when the good guys' collective efforts yield them being in charge (now) and then having the knowledge and goods on EVERYONE. Your hands probably had to get varying degrees of dirty along the way… I don't see how you could endeavor to accomplish the scenario I just laid out without some "ugly."

You guys ever do this kind of work? Both of you are way off the mark. Pinching a concrete saw isn't going to do much, they have a ton of horsepower behind them.

Kevlar or even glass fiber reinforcement will dull the blades in a hurry. 3/8" box steel will fuck up a diamond blade in a hurry and concrete with explode an aluminum oxide disk.

It looks really solid, albeit not impervious. I'm not sure any of those can cut the whole way through meaning you'd have to use a sawzall and be there forever to make a meaningful hole.
