Conveniently, two nights ago, Bill O’Reilly focused on exactly that topic---how PSF’s sister/parent group LFLU is funded—in an interview with Turning Point’s Anna Paulina.

Paulina said that the parent/sister group Familia Latina Unidos (LFLU) received $2.5mil from George Soros’ Open Society Foundation in 2009, based on info from Influence Watch.

But if we look at Influence Watch, they refer us to a doc that shows a payment of $2.5mil by OSF in 2009 to the National Immigration Forum, not LFLU (see screenshot). Granted, there seems to be a close relationship between the National Immigration Forum and LFLU/CSF/PSF coalition, in that Influence Watch reported that the Natl Immigration Forum reported giving $60,000 to CSF, which Crazzfiles reports as also getting money from Open Society, MacArthur, Ford, and Rockefeller Foundations.

$60,000 is a fair chunk of change, but it’s not $2.5mil. But Crazzfiles includes additional tantalizing info on possible funding sources, starting with some info on Viridiana Vidal, a contact person for PSF who has previously worked for Telemundo and Univision, and currently works for America’s Voice, a pro-immigration group funded by Soros, who gave $3mil to the Immigrant Voters Win PAC, “becoming the PAC’s first and primary donor.” There is additional info on money and salaries paid to America’s Voice employees by that funding source.

My conclusion at this point:

There is obviously a lot of cash making its way to the caravan via PSF. It comes from more than one source but Soros’ Open Society Foundation is right in the middle of the action. However, it tries to remain in the background so the funding can’t easily be traced. Influence Watch has additional info on funding that may be good for a dig; for example, it list the American Friends Service Committee as soliciting donation for the caravan. I don’t know whether this is for the original April caravan or the Oct caravan. If you’re interested, check it out.

One last note:

La Familia Latina Unidos is technically defunct from a legal point of view, due to a failure to file Tax Form 990 with the IRS (revealing their sources of income) for three consecutive years. Why could that possibly be?

Mystery of tech CEO found shot dead, family killed in mansion fire deepens; brother arrested for setting own home ablaze

The brother of a man who was found shot dead outside his burning New Jersey mansion as part of an apparent quadruple homicide was arrested on Wednesday, after officials disclosed that he set his own home ablaze earlier the same day.

The body of Keith Caneiro, the 50-year-old CEO of tech company Square One in Asbury Park, was discovered in the front of the home with at least one gunshot wound, NJ.com reported, citing law enforcement sources. The gunshot was not believed to have been self-inflicted.

Hours after the discovery, the Monmouth County Prosecutors Office announced that Keith's brother, Paul Caneiro, of Ocean Township was arrested and charged with aggravated arson, in regards to a fire that occurred at his home early Tuesday morning.

"Prosecutor Christopher J. Gramiccioni will be addressing the press later on this afternoon to provide updates on this arrest, as well as yesterday's fire in Colts Neck," the prosecutor's office said. "Stay tuned for more details."

Camp Fire Updates

The number of fatalities has risen to 81 in the wake of the devastating Camp Fire that started nearly two weeks ago, but there were two pieces of welcome news Wednesday: rain started to fall, and (Chico native) Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers started a recovery fund with a $1 million donation.

The update from Cal Fire indicated that containment has risen to 80 percent and full containment is expected on Nov. 30. Full containment means the fire would be surrounded by control lines.

Acreage burned has risen to 153,336 acres, consuming 13,503 homes, 275 multi-family dwellings, and 514 businesses, according to Cal Fire.

Bulgaria complains about UN migration pact and closes the borders

After Hungary, Poland, the Czech Republic and Israel have refused to sign the Marrakech Agreement, now Bulgaria complains about the UN Global Migration Compact on Immigration.

Specifically, Bulgaria is speeding up their moves to protect themselves as they observe the daily invasion by thousands of illegal immigrants in Greece, from the gateway of Evros.

Tsvetan Tsvetanov, deputy chairman of the ruling GERB party, said after a meeting of the leaders of the ruling party coalition:

“The Bulgarian government will not to join the United Nations Global Compact on Immigration”.

Bulgaria’s parliament will definitely decide on the Pact this Wednesday, though it appears that the government’s decision has already been taken.
