MSM Resists Reporting on Tijuana Protests

Last Wed., a large wave of Central American immigrants arrived on buses, only to be confronted by crowds of protests that wanted them to turn around and go home. @Paloma4Trump reported on this live; it was reported here the next day (>>3918182 pb); another anon found one short mention in an obscure online magazine (>>>>3918952). The next day, Juan Gastelum, the mayor of Tijuana, did an interview in which he said he favors immigration, but it has to be legal: “You’re going to tell me we have to respect human rights,” he said. “But human rights are for law-abiding humans,” as reported by The Daily Caller early Friday evening (>>3933705 pb).
The mayor has also been seen sporting a “Make Tijuana Great Again” hat, earning him the praise of conservatives and the wrath of Trump haters.

The media didn’t want to report this story. It completely destroys their narrative that opposition to the caravan is the product of “white privilege.” The fact that patriotic Mexicans share the same sentiments as patriotic Americans is an inconvenient fact they want to ignore.
So they did. They tried to ignore or downplay the protests by failing to report on them until 4 to 5 days after they began. When I did a search on “Tijuana protests” and looked at the first 25 results, the great majority (23) are from the MSM (18 American, 5 foreign) — and of the first 25 results, there were 18 from the American MSM (two from Fox), 5 from foreign MSM sources, and two from American non-MSM sources (Real Clear Politics and news24.com—see links).
It’s now a full six days since Paloma first reported on the protests. But if you look at the dates on the screenshots, most of them are one day old.

If we look at the dates on the screenshots, most of them are a day old. In the case of a major news organization, a four-day gap in reporting a major news story clearly reflects their pro-caravan bias. The Tucker-affiliated Daily Caller started reporting on Friday and Laura Ingraham mentioned the protests on her show that night, which likely prompted Fox to start reporting earlier than other media.
But Tucker did something else. He decided to take on Enrique Acevedo, the Univision “reporter” who travels with the caravan and is little more than a shill for the pro-migrant narrative. Real Clear Politics understood why this challenge mattered and provided both the video and transcript (see link above). See attachment for embedded version.

Trump supporter Hayes Kotseos runs a North Carolina pool-maintenance company, but she’s got a side bet that she thinks might make her fabulously wealthy: the Iraqi dinar.
The currency is nearly worthless outside of Iraq, but Kotseos bought millions of dinars in April, after watching a video of President Trump at a 2017 press conference. In the clip, Trump says, with characteristic vagueness, that all currencies will soon “be on a level playing field.”
In reality, Trump was talking about trade imbalances with China. But like other Trump supporters who have fallen into the dinar investment scam, which has existed since at least 2012, Kotseos interpreted Trump’s rambling statement as proof that the Iraqi dinar would soon be worth as much or even more than the dollar, making anyone who had been smart enough to buy in early a millionaire.
“I love my president, and I was like, ‘Oh my God,’” Kotseos told The Daily Beast.
“Some people get a little negative,” said Kotseos, who also tweets about the pro-Trump QAnon conspiracy theory. “You’ve gotta squish it fast. We just support each other.”

HOUSE GOP TO HOLD HEARING INTO DOJ’S PROBE OF CLINTON FOUNDATION
Rep. Mark Meadows (R-N.C.) said Tuesday that House Republicans plan to hear testimony on Dec. 5 from the prosecutor appointed by former Attorney General Jeff Sessions to probe alleged wrongdoing by the Clinton Foundation.
Meadows, who is chairman of the House Oversight Subcommittee on Government Operations, told Hill.TV’s “Rising” that it’s time to “circle back” to U.S. Attorney General John Huber’s investigation with the Justice Department into whether the Clinton Foundation engaged any improper activities.
“Mr. [John] Huber with the Department of Justice and the FBI has been having an investigation – at least part of his task was to look at the Clinton Foundation and what may or may not have happened as it relates to improper activity with that charitable foundation, so we’ve set a hearing date for December the 5th,” he told Hill.TV during an interview on Wednesday.
Meadow’s said the committee plans to delve into a number of Republicans concerns surrounding the foundation, including whether any tax-exempt proceeds for personal gain and whether the Foundation complied with IRS laws.
Sessions appointed Huber last year to work in tandem with the Justice Department to look into conservative claims of misconduct at the FBI and review several issues surrounding the Clintons. This includes Hillary Clinton’s ties to a Russian nuclear agency and concerns about the Clinton Foundation.
Huber’s work has remained shrouded in mystery. The White House has released little information about Huber’s assignment other than Session’s address to Congress saying his appointed should address concerns raised by Republicans.
But Meadows said the committee thinks it’s time Huber gives an update to Congress about his findings, and expects him to be one of the witnesses at the hearing.
Meadows also added that his committee is also trying to secure testimonies from whistleblowers who could have more information about potential improprieties surrounding the Clinton Foundation.
“We’re just now starting to work with a couple of whistleblowers that would indicate that there is a great probability, a significant improper activity that’s happening in and around the Clinton Foundation,” he said.
The Foundation meanwhile has repeatedly denied any wrongdoing.
This move marks House Republicans’ last-ditch effort to pursue their concerns surrounding the Clinton Foundation before Democrats take back the House in January.

“Combined, these challenges – or macro forces – erode the capabilities of the manufacturing and defense industrial base and threaten the Department of Defense’s ability to be ready for the ‘fight tonight,’ and to retool for great power competition,” it stated.
The pressure exerted on the defense industrial base results in risks such as: single-source suppliers; fragile suppliers and markets; loss of specialized equipment and workers; material shortages; and a lack of capacity when needed, the report said.
For those who follow the defense industry, the 146-page report held few surprises. Industry has long complained about unstable federal budgets, Chinese intellectual property theft and a lack of skilled workers. The report, however, broke its findings down to more granular detail, citing several industries that are suffering under the five macro-economic factors.

When Obama pronounced Osama Bin Laden dead in a televised announcement heard round the world last night, he was at least the ninth major head of state or high-ranking government official to have done so.
Given Bin Laden’s documented kidney problems and consequent need for dialysis, government officials, heads of state and counterterrorism experts have repeatedly opined that Osama Bin Laden has in fact been dead for some time. These assertions are based on Bin Laden’s failing health in late 2001 and visible signs of his deteriorating condition, as well as actual reports of his death from the same time frame.
In July of 2001, Osama Bin Laden was flown to the American Hospital in Dubai for kidney treatment. According to French intelligence sources, he was there met by the local CIA attache. When the agent bragged about his encounter to friends later, he was promptly recalled to Washington.
On the eve of September 11, Osama Bin Laden was staying in a Pakistani military hospital under the watchful eye of Pakistan’s ISI, the Pakistani equivalent of the CIA with deep ties to the American intelligence community.
In October 2001, Bin Laden appeared in a videotape wearing army fatigues and Islamic headdress, looking visibly pale and gaunt. In December of 2001, another videotape was released, this time showing a seriously ill Bin Laden who was seemingly unable to move his left arm.
Then on December 26, 2001, Fox News reported on a Pakistan Observer story that the Afghan Taliban had officially pronounced Osama Bin Laden dead earlier that month. According to the report, he was buried less than 24 hours later in an unmarked grave in accordance with Wahabbist Sunni practices.
What followed was a string of pronouncements from officials affirming what was already obvious: supposedly living in caves and bunkers in the mountainous pass between Afghanistan and Pakistan, Osama would have been deprived of the dialysis equipment that he required to live.
On January 18, 2002, Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf announced quite bluntly: “I think now, frankly, he is dead.”
On July 17, 2002, the then-head of counterterrorism at the FBI, Dale Watson, told a conference of law enforcement officials that “I

In October 2002, Afghan President Hamid Karzai told CNN that “I would come to believe that [Bin Laden] probably is dead.”

In September 2006, French intelligence leaked a report suggesting Osama had died in Pakistan.
On November 2, 2007, former Pakistani Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto told Al-Jazeera’s David Frost that Omar Sheikh had killed Osama Bin Laden.
In March 2009, former US foreign intelligence officer and professor of international relations at Boston University Angelo Codevilla stated: “All the evidence suggests Elvis Presley is more alive today than Osama Bin Laden.”
In May 2009, Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari confirmed that his “counterparts in the American intelligence agencies” hadn’t heard anything from Bin Laden in seven years and confirmed “I don’t think he’s alive.”
Now in 2011, President Obama has added himself to the mix of people in positions of authority who have pronounced Osama Bin Laden dead. Some might charge that none of the previous reports had any credibility, but as it is now emerging that Osama’s body was buried at sea less than 12 hours after his death with no opportunity for any independent corroboration of his identity, the same question of credibility has to be leveled at this latest charge. To this point, the only evidence we have been provided that Osama Bin Laden was killed yesterday are some images on tv of a burning compound and the word of the man currently occupying the oval office.
But given that an informed consensus has formed around the opinion that Bin Laden died long ago due to kidney failure, will the people of America hold their President to the highest standard in presenting evidence that the person killed was actually Osama Bin Laden, and that he actually died in the way described, or will this pronouncement go unquestioned like so many other deaths in the never ending war of terror?

Now that the supreme court is not sufficiently rigged to prevent it, Trump is going to start telling the supreme court to disband the corrupted lower courts, which they can do. This is a great day in history.
The decision by Trump was based in a 9th circuit court judge who was planted by Obama being used to stop Trump from doing his presidential duty to protect the nation. This took the form of Democrats appealing to a pre-corrupted court with judges that were willing to violate constitutional law and stop Trump from blocking the migrant caravan. Trump has to listen, his executive orders blocking migrants can be overturned by a corrupt judge, but now that the supreme court is not rigged, Trump can turn right around and say "the 9th circuit court is using powers outside of it's jurisdiction and violating the separation of powers, they need to be done away with, disband them". Then he can just issue a new executive order.
Obviously, since liberals can use any corrupted court they want they will simply find another and use it. PROBLEM: The cycle repeats. If they take this to Hawaii Trump can have that court wiped out now that the supreme court is not rigged, and will go along with doing so. This is precisely why there was such a freak out over Kavanaugh, he's the lynch pin that is going to hang the judicial tyranny Obama put in place.

In 1976, Parche was moved to the Pacific fleet and modified for the first time. Not much is publicly known about this initial retrofit, but the submarine's service exploits fell out of the public eye very quickly. As it turns out, the Navy selected Parche to support the National Underwater Reconnaissance Office — a highly secretive joint partnership between the Central Intelligence Agency and the Navy.
Over the next few years, Parche's mission set rapidly evolved from functioning as a typical run-of-the-mill attack submarine, to a ghost-like spy submarine, outfitted with monitoring gear, reconnaissance, and surveillance systems. The submarine force is often known as the "silent service" due to the fact that submarines work best when undetected. NURO and the Navy took this a step further with crews assigned to the Parche, swearing them to absolute secrecy, owing to the nature of their command's job.
By the end of the 1970s, Parche had already made multiple trips into the Sea of Okhotsk, along with the USS Halibut and the USS Seawolf, to wiretap Soviet communications cables as part of Operation Ivy Bells. These wiretaps, undetected until a National Security Agency leak in the mid-80s, proved to be extremely invaluable in picking up Soviet military intelligence. The Parche also assisted with recovering the fragments of Soviet anti-shipping rockets, so that the Navy could analyze them and develop countermeasures to safeguard its own vessels.

Now retired, David LeJeune was a Navy saturation diver who participated in several later missions. Even a regional nuclear war could spark "unprecedented" global cooling and reduce rainfall for years, according to U.S. government computer models.
Widespread famine and disease would likely follow, experts speculate.
During the Cold War a nuclear exchange between superpowers—such as the one feared for years between the United States and the former Soviet Union—was predicted to cause a "nuclear winter."
In that scenario hundreds of nuclear explosions spark huge fires, whose smoke, dust, and ash blot out the sun for weeks amid a backdrop of dangerous radiation levels. Much of humanity eventually dies of starvation and disease.
Today, with the United States the only standing superpower, nuclear winter is little more than a nightmare. But nuclear war remains a very real threat—for instance, between developing-world nuclear powers, such as India and Pakistan.
To see what climate effects such a regional nuclear conflict might have, scientists from NASA and other institutions modeled a war involving a hundred Hiroshima-level bombs, each packing the equivalent of 15,000 tons of TNT—just 0.03 percent of the world's current nuclear arsenal. (See a National Geographic magazine feature on weapons of mass destruction.)
The researchers predicted the resulting fires would kick up roughly five million metric tons of black carbon into the upper part of the troposphere, the lowest layer of the Earth's atmosphere.
In NASA climate models, this carbon then absorbed solar heat and, like a hot-air balloon, quickly lofted even higher, where the soot would take much longer to clear from the sky.

Reversing Global Warming?
The global cooling caused by these high carbon clouds wouldn't be as catastrophic as a superpower-versus-superpower nuclear winter, but "the effects would still be regarded as leading to unprecedented climate change," research physical scientist Luke Oman said during a press briefing Friday at a meeting of the American Association for the Advancement of Science in Washington, D.C.
Earth is currently in a long-term warming trend. After a regional nuclear war, though, average global temperatures would drop by 2.25 degrees F (1.25 degrees C) for two to three years afterward, the models suggest.
At the extreme, the tropics, Europe, Asia, and Alaska would cool by 5.4 to 7.2 degrees F (3 to 4 degrees C), according to the models. Parts of the Arctic and Antarctic would actually warm a bit, due to shifted wind and ocean-circulation patterns, the researchers said.
After ten years, average global temperatures would still be 0.9 degree F (0.5 degree C) lower than before the nuclear war, the models predict.
For a time Earth would likely be a colder, hungrier planet. "Our results suggest that agriculture could be severely impacted, especially in areas that are susceptible to late-spring and early-fall frosts," said Oman, of NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland.
"Examples similar to the crop failures and famines experienced following the Mount Tambora eruption in 1815 could be widespread and last several years," he added. That Indonesian volcano ushered in "the year without summer," a time of famines and unrest. (See pictures of the Mount Tambora eruption.)
All these changes would also alter circulation patterns in the tropical atmosphere, reducing precipitation by 10 percent globally for one to four years, the scientists said. Even after seven years, global average precipitation would be 5 percent lower than it was before the conflict, according to the model.
In addition, researcher Michael Mills, of the National Center for Atmospheric Research in Colorado, found large decreases in the protective ozone layer, leading to much more ultraviolet radiation reaching Earth's surface and harming the environment and people.
"The main message from our work," NASA's Oman said, "would be that even a regional nuclear conflict would have global consequences."

I have been thinking hard about many of the things being reported in the alternative media over the past several days, "Operation Hot Musket," reports of the movement of large numbers of tanks, etc. For years I have followed the economic situation since I am retired and live on my savings and my investments as well as Social Security. I am very aware of what is going on in that field.
The fact is, the world economy is in a precarious state. The United States has used its position of its dollar being the World Reserve Currency to force its will on other countries, and those countries are sick of it. We have also used that position to run up an admitted national debt of more than 21 TRILLION dollars, and there are also over 20 TRILLION dollars unaccounted for by the budgets of the Defense Department and HHS. It is very likely that there will be an economic crisis like nothing the world has ever seen in the near future.
If such a crisis occurs, the credit system will freeze up. That means that stores, almost all of whom operate on credit, will not be able to restock goods. Shelves will soon empty. It also means that most banks may fail. It also means that Social Security and welfare checks will stop. SNAP cards will no longer work, so, even if people can find food at a store, those without ready cash will not be able to purchase it. This will lead to violent social unrest. The situation, especially in the cities will become horrific.
I wonder if we are seeing preparations for this eventuality. I wonder if the government realizes this collapse is imminent. I'm just putting this out there. I would like others opinions on it. I hope my ideas are wrong, but they do explain what we are seeing.
