Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney has considered the remote possibility of US military action against Canada, according to an interview with The New York Times.

Carney told the Times that his administration has carefully examined the "extreme tail risk" scenario where the US takes military action against his country, and had prepared accordingly, without providing further detail. (==Bullshit, it’s more than likely Carney would like to do this with US but Canada has no real military!)

"I think you have a responsibility in these roles to look at extreme tail risk," Carney told the Times."That's just risk management. That's not a base case, but it would be irresponsible not to" prepare.

Tensions between the neighbouring countries have flared under US President Donald Trump.

Any conflict would likely be highly imbalanced. The US military has more than 2 million active-duty and reserve troops, while Canada has less than 200,000, according to their governments. Similarly, as of 2024, the US possessed 65 military submarines, compared to Canada's four.

Canada, though, has the longest coastline in the world and is close to the Arctic, two circumstances that have prompted Carney to boost defence spending since he took office.

Meanwhile, Trump has frequently talked about Canada as the "51st state". He also started a trade war with it that deepened last month as two countries began exchanging tit-for-tat tariffs on a number of products.

Even since then, Carney told the Times, he speaks with Trump "frequently".

"From my perspective, we have a good relationship in the sense of we can pick up the phone and talk to each other about issues," he told the outlet. "He's direct. I'm direct in terms of where positions are. It's much more efficient that way, and so you know that exists and that will continue to exist."

Carney said he believed there is still a path to resume trade negotiations with the US.Returning to the amicable, decades-long trade relationship with the US would be beneficial for both countries, he said. (Carney lies about everything, London is his masters.)

During Chinese President Xi Jinping’s visit to the White House on Thursday morning, Chinese photographers stole the show by clashing with Secret Service agents while awaiting Xi’s arrival and later shoving American reporters as they made their way through the briefing room.

President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump welcomed Xi and his wife, Madame Peng, to the White House this morning. Trump and Xi delivered remarks, exchanged gifts, and observed a military review.

The festivities included a B-2 Spirit stealth bomber and F-22 flyover.

This follows Trump’s spectacular welcoming ceremony for the Chinese President on Wednesday at Joint Base Andrews. Trump also orchestrated a B-1 bomber demonstration during an arrival ceremony with cannons, a 21-gun salute, a presentation of colors, the US Air Force Band, platoons from each branch of the US military, and American flower presenters.

Ahead of Xi's arrival, Chinese photographers were causing trouble for the American press and Secret Service.

AFP correspondent Danny Kemp shared footage from a confrontation at the South Portico this morning after the Chinese reporters shoved their way to the front of the crowd to get their shot.

Another clip from the Telegraph's Connor Stringer shows a Chinese photographer being physically restrained and then escorted away by two female Secret Service agents.

Following a relatively loud disagreement between Chinese photographers, a White House staff photographer and secret service over where the Chinese photographer could set up, the ceremony began.

POTUS and FLOTUS walked out on to the North Portico where a red carpet was rolled out. They were met by Chinese President Xi Jinping and his wife Madam Liyuan Peng who rolled up in a black suv.

During a later photo op, Trump joked that the Chinese had the friendliest press corps, according to the White House press pool.

Following the events this morning, NTD correspondent Iris Tao shared another video from inside the briefing room where a male Chinese photographer "shoved an American female reporter while rushing through the briefing room door to the Oval Office."

The TV pool that usually handles live coverage of Trump’s events is still in a holding pattern due to his unprecedented ban of CNN, MS NOW and Politico.

While journalists for the three outlets are now back at the White House, thanks to a federal judge’s order, the status of the TV pool is a separate matter.

The five major networks that make up the pool — CNN, ABC, CBS, NBC, and Fox News — are waiting on confirmation from the White House that CNN will be allowed to fulfill its pool responsibilities in the future.

Ukrainian drones attack Russia's Rostov Oblast, Krasnodar Krai, allegedly targeting oil depots

Ukrainian drones allegedly targeted oil depots in Russia's Rostov Oblast and Krasnodar Krai overnight on Sept. 24, according to local authorities.

Russia's Defense Ministry claimed that Russian air defenses intercepted and destroyed 40 Ukrainian drones over several Russian regions, including Rostov Oblast, Krasnodar Krai, and occupied Crimea, overnight on Sept. 24.

Rostov Oblast Governor Yury Slyusar claimed Russian air defenses intercepted Ukrainian drones over Taganrog and the Kagalnitsky and Neklinovsky districts.

According to Slyusar, falling drone debris damaged administrative buildings at an oil depot in Kagalnitsky district, but there were no casualties or fire.

Additionally, Ukrainian Telegram channel Exilenova+ said on Sept. 24 that an oil depot in the settlement of Novotitarovskaya in neighboring Krasnodar Krai also caught fire following a drone attack.

Russian state-controlled media TASS claimed that a fire broke out on the premises of "a facility" after debris from a drone fell in the Dinsky district of Krasnodar Krai. No injuries were reported.

Ukraine has not commented on the strikes, and the Kyiv Independent could not independently verify the claims.

Rostov Oblast is a region in southern Russia that borders eastern Ukraine, with parts of the oblast located less than 100 kilometers (60 miles) from the front line of the ongoing war.

The region has become a key logistical and military hub for Russian operations in Ukraine, housing supply routes, military bases, and fuel infrastructure.

Rostov Oblast has been repeatedly targeted by Ukrainian drone attacks since the start of Russia's full-scale invasion in 2022.

California Supreme Court Rules Against Sheriff Bianco in Massive Election Fraud Investigation Related to Seizure of 650,000 Ballots

The California Supreme Court on Thursday ruled against Riverside Sheriff Chad Bianco’s massive election fraud investigation and sided with the state’s far-left attorney general.

Earlier this year, the California Supreme Court ordered Sheriff Chad Bianco to pause his massive election fraud investigation and preserve the 650,000 ballots he seized.

A state appellate court previously rejected California Democrat Attorney General Rob Bonta’s emergency writ to halt Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco’s bombshell investigation into 45,000 extra votes mysteriously counted in the November 2025 special election.

Chad Bianco, who ran for California governor as a Republican, previously moved to seize approximately 650,000 ballots and initiate a recount after a citizens’ group reported significant discrepancies, according to CalMatters.

Bianco revealed that a team of 10 investigators had already begun counting ballots before being ordered to halt their work, as part of an ongoing election investigation, The Sun reported.

According to Bianco, the team’s initial progress suggested that counting the approximately 611,000 ballots would take about five days to complete. However, the effort was paused before a full review could be conducted.

Bianco previously paused his investigation because of the onslaught of legal issues.

California Attorney General Bonta slammed Sheriff Bianco and celebrated the State Supreme Court’s order earlier this year.

“What the Sheriff says and what he does are often two different things,” Bonta said in a statement.

“Today’s decision by the California Supreme Court reins in the destabilizing actions of a rogue Sheriff, prohibiting him from continuing this investigation while our litigation continues,” Bonta said in April.

On Thursday, the California Supreme Court, stacked with Democrats, ruled against Bianco.

The Orange County Register reported:

Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco’s seizure of more than 650,000 ballots as part of a criminal investigation was unlawful, according to a California Supreme Court opinion issued Thursday, Sept. 24.

The court also found that California Attorney General Rob Bonta was within his rights under the state constitution to order the sheriff to halt the investigation and order Bianco to comply with Bonta’s directives.

Before the court were two cases. One, filed by Bonta, sought to halt Bianco’s probe. The other, filed by the UCLA Voting Rights Project, demanded the sheriff return the confiscated ballots to the registrar.

The ballots remained in the sheriff’s custody as of Wednesday afternoon, Sept. 23, according to Elizabeth Florer, spokesperson for Riverside County’s elections office.

KHARTOUM: Sudan’s paramilitary ‌Rapid Support Forces have intensified deadly drone attacks in government-held towns in the frontline state of North Kordofan, disrupting normal life and causing a deep sense of insecurity, residents ​say.

Reuters filmed the aftermath of major attacks that took place this month in two frontline cities, which residents described as part of an apparent new campaign of such strikes after several weeks when the RSF appeared to have scaled them back under international pressure.

The RSF did not respond to a request for comment but has said it does not intentionally target civilians.

Drones have increasingly become the weapon of choice ‌in Sudan’s three-and-a-half-year-old civil ‌war, with both the RSF and their foes, ​the ‌Sudanese ⁠army, ​deploying the ⁠latest technologies used in other war zones such as Ukraine.

The UN says drone attacks by both sides killed more than 1,000 civilians in the first half of this year.

On September 8, a drone hit a crowded courtroom in the government-held town of Um Ruwaba in North Kordofan, a state in central Sudan that is now one of the war’s main ⁠front lines.

Some 10 people were killed and dozens ‌injured, according to Emergency Lawyers, a human ‌rights monitor. When Reuters reached the site, the ​entire facade had been blown ‌out, with columns at the front of one of the city’s ‌most prominent buildings blasted apart.

A day later, a drone struck a college in Al-Obeid, the state capital, blasting off the roof. The dean, Abdel Aziz Al-Sheikh, standing amid the damage as workers cleared away rubble, said a security guard had been ‌killed and eight classrooms damaged.

“As you can see, the entire faculty is destroyed and we feel that ⁠our dreams are ⁠destroyed, our future is destroyed,” said Omnia Aboul Gassim, a student who had taken her exams at the college in Al-Obeid the day before it was struck, standing by the ruins.

At a hospital in Um Ruwaba, Salah Bakheit, whose arm had been smashed and body pockmarked by shrapnel in the attack on the courthouse, said he had come to that city in search of shelter after fleeing Al-Obeid, which the RSF had bombarded with drones for months earlier this year in an attempted siege.

“Once I heard the sound of the blast, I ​knew it was a strategic drone,” ​he said. “I have been living with drones of all types, strategic drones and suicide drones. I can distinguish between them.”

A Pennsylvania man who survived gunshot wounds during President Trump's Butler campaign rally two years ago has died, sources confirmed.

James 'Jim' Copenhaver, 76, died in hospital on Wednesday after surviving the terrifying rally that saw Trump shot in the ear on July 13, 2024.

Copenhaver endured permanent 'life-altering' injuries after he was shot twice at the infamous rally; once in his left arm and again in his abdomen.

The native of Moon Township, around 20 minutes from Pittsburgh, was in critical condition at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh before he was left numb from his knee to his hip.

Joseph Feldman, the family's attorney, told Fox News at the time that Copenhaver was 'a tough guy' after he was able to survive the horrific injuries.

Ken Silva of Headline USA first reported the death, citing sources close to the family of Copenhaver, who wrote the foreword for the journalist's book, The Trump Assassination Plots: What Investigations Missed and Why it Matters.

Silva said he had few details surrounding Copenhaver's sudden passing, 'but it was no secret that Jim was dealing with permanent injuries from Butler - including having bullet fragments still inside of him.'

In the foreword, shared by Silva on social media, Copenhaver wrote: 'I've lived a good life, but most of it has been what I'd described as "uneventful" in a grand historical sense.'

LONE TREE, CO — Rep. Lauren Boebert (CO-04) warned that government drone programs are expanding without a public inventory, without sufficient Fourth Amendment protections, and with too many Chinese drones and parts still in the fleet.

“Not one piece of hardware or software from the People’s Republic of China belongs on a police or federal drone in the United States,” Rep. Boebert wrote. “Not the chip, camera, battery, flight controller, app, firmware, or cloud login. American first responders deserve American supply chains.”

“Until recently,” she noted, “most drones sold to police departments were made in China.” Even if new sales slow, fleets of Chinese drones remain deployed, and efforts continue to keep Chinese components, software, and supply chains in the fleet.

“The United States government has no official public count of how many drones law enforcement agencies own and fly,” Rep. Boebert wrote.

“Congress should not have to take its numbers from corporate earnings calls about how many aircraft are already circling overhead.” Rep. Boebert wrote that all drones across the United States should be registered within 30 days of operational deployment.

Rep. Boebert wrote that federal tax dollars should go to real emergencies, including search and rescue, wrecks, officer safety, and barricaded suspects, rather than persistent aerial patrols above American homes.

“‘Drone as first responder’ is not a substitute for a warrant,” she wrote. “Persistent neighborhood surveillance is a general warrant from the sky, and a microphone on a drone is an intercept.”

She wrote that listening should require the same legal process as a Title III wiretap, with no fishing expeditions, audit logs, and short retention.

“I stand with law enforcement. I stand even more firmly with the Constitution,” Rep. Boebert wrote. “We can give first responders the tools they need without surrendering the right of free Americans to live unmonitored lives.

Protecting individual privacy is essential if freedom is to mean anything for the next generation.”

Lowe's today announced the launch of drone delivery, the newest fulfillment method for the retailer that delivers select home improvement items directly to DIY and Pro customers in as fast as 20 minutes.

This pilot is now live at Lowe's store in Matthews, N.C., and adds to same-day fulfillment options for customers, including buy online, pick up in store; curbside pickup and same-day delivery.

The launch builds on Wing and DoorDash's existing drone delivery operations in the Charlotte area, adding Lowe's to the growing list of brands now available for delivery via drone.

Home improvement projects rarely go exactly as planned. Whether halfway through a paint project, tackling a weekend repair, or working on a jobsite, forgotten supplies can stall momentum by requiring a trip to the store.

As part of Lowe's mission to solve problems and fulfill dreams for the home, the retailer is expanding its same-day delivery speed through drone delivery in partnership with Wing and DoorDash.

The initial pilot spans a curated list of eligible products, including hand tools and paint products, plus everyday household items such as soap, tape, all-purpose cleaner and batteries – products that are easily forgotten yet critical to finishing any home improvement task.

President Trump did not violate a federal judge’s order when CNN, Politico, and MSNOW were denied access to the White House on Thursday morning.

Trump last Friday announced that he has banned CNN, MSNOW, and Politico from the White House for constantly reporting “FAKE NEWS.”

The outlets filed suit on Monday and sought an emergency order to overturn the ban.

The lawsuit was assigned to US District Judge Tim Kelly, a Trump appointee.

On Wednesday, Judge Kelly appeared skeptical during a hearing on Trump’s media ban.

A lawyer for the outlets accused the Trump Administration of banning the news organizations “completely out of the blue” and urged the judge to immediately restore their access.

“I think it is fair to say that process … wasn’t followed here, talking about predeprivation process,” Judge Kelly said, according to CNBC.

Judge Kelly concluded the hearing without immediately issuing a ruling on Wednesday.

However, in the middle of the night, the judge issued a Temporary Restraining Order and ordered the Trump Administration to restore access to the affected reporters.

Early Thursday morning, the reporters were still denied access to the White House grounds.

CNN hyperventilated and said the White House “may be in defiance of the court order.”

The outlets on Thursday immediately requested an emergency hearing with Judge Kelly.

In a court filing on Thursday, White House Director of Press Operations Micah Stopperich explained what happened in a declaration.

President Trump did not violate a court order. The judge issued a TRO in the middle of the night at it took time for the White House to update the computer systems and clear it through the Secret Service.

Micah Stopperich explained that White House Operations were notified at 7:10 am to restore access to the affected reporters.

The process of reinstating the badges began at 7:25 am.

The US Secret Service indicated that the badges were back on at 9:07 am and began locating the confiscated badges.

The confiscated badges were delivered to White House Operations at 9:45 am.

The White House press team dropped badges at the entry gate for members of the press to pick up around 9:55 am.

The affected reporters then regained access to the White House grounds.

Report: Suspected Site of Noah's Ark '100 Percent Confirmed' to Be a 'Manmade Object'

A new report says that the group of researchers hoping to find the remains of Noah’s Ark beneath a Turkish rock formation have found initial evidence that the site has more than rock beneath the surface.

According to the Daily Mail, the researchers have “100 percent confirmed” that the Durupinar Formation near Mount Ararat is a “man-made object.”

The report said scans prior to drilling showed “structural layers, straight lines, right-angle intersections and large cavity-like spaces at multiple depths.”

Andrew Jones, the founder of Noah’s Ark Scans, said neither limestone nor solid bedrock were detected.

“This destroys the theory the site is a solid limestone block shaped into a boat by glaciers and weathering after coming down the mountainside, and it also refutes the theory that this is bedrock around which mud flowed to form the shape,” he said.

Jones said it was too early to claim he has found evidence the ark is buried there. But said, “I firmly believe the Durupinar Formation represents the buried remains of Noah’s Ark.”

He called the latest finds a “compelling new line of evidence.”

The Durupinar formation, a 515-foot-long, boat-shaped geological feature near the border ot Turkey and Iran, was first identified in aerial photographs in 1959 and has been the focus on research related to the ark for years.

Researchers plan to collect core samples from the formation, while a drone called GOPHER is expected to examine its interior later this week.

Jones has been touting the site as the resting place of the ark for some time.

“We have a shape of a ship, and then you look at the size of it … exactly 300 royal Egyptian cubits,” Jones told NewsNation last year “That’s what Moses wrote in the book of Genesis.”

This hunt for the ark has skeptics as well as supporters.

A rebuttal to this can be found in a 2025 article for Answers in Genesis. Ken Ham argued that the evidence being publicized does not establish that the formation is Noah’s vessel.

Ham cited geologist Andrew Snelling, who has studied the site for decades and argued that the features seen in geophysical scans could have natural explanations.

UFO SIGHTING? Mysterious orb caught on video flying over Los Angeles in traffic broadcast

A LIVE traffic broadcast quickly turned into a on-air UFO sighting when a spherical object was filmed flying over a California highway.

The bizarre moment was captured earlier this month as a chopper for Fox 11 news filmed a freeway in Los Angeles as rush hour traffic steadily flowed below.

Many of the drivers will have been entirely oblivious to the unusual orb soaring above them.

However, the camera operator in the helicopter did spot it and zoomed in to follow its trajectory.

The round object moved in a continuous straight line over the highway, traveling at quite a speed.

It appears to be the size of a basketball and dark in color.

The footage which was shared on Tuesday and has been viewed by millions has sparked a wide number of theories from some saying it is just a balloon to others saying it was a UFO in flight.

“Literally just a foil balloon, played with them a bunch as a kid,” one wrote on social media.

“I’m sceptical, but it doesn’t move like a balloon in the wind. It’s flying in a straight line,” another viewer said.

“Balloon crowd is going to have a hard time with this one. That path is too straight,” a third said.

“Wind doesn’t fly a sphere across LA in a clean line with no wobble. Whatever it is, it isn’t just floating.”

“It has no wings, no engine, how is it flying on its own like that ??? Anyone know??” another viewer asked.

Some even compared it to the so-called Buga Sphere, a metal ball covered in mysterious writing that was found in Colombia.

Meanwhile, other viewers attempted to quash the UFO conspiracies, saying that the object was most likely a drone with retailers increasing their airborne delivery networks in the city.

California is the number one state for UFO sightings, per Enigma, a crowd sourced platform where people can log what they see.

Over 5,240 first-hand sightings in the Golden State have been logged on the platform, with these soaring to a total of almost 30,000 since 1901 when third-party sources are included.

Spherical objects are among the top reported shapes, Enigma notes.

This most recent mystery comes just days after The Pentagon released six different batches of files relating to UFO sightings including never-before-seen footage allegedly showing silent, flashing red and green orbs swarming the sky above a military site.

President Donald Trump first called on the Department of War to release more UFO files in February.

“Based on the tremendous interest shown, I will be directing the Secretary of War, and other relevant Departments and Agencies, to begin the process of identifying and releasing Government files related to alien and extraterrestrial life, unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP), and unidentified flying objects (UFOs),” Trump said on TruthSocial.

“And any and all other information connected to these highly complex, but extremely interesting and important, matters. GOD BLESS AMERICA!”

The Department of War stated that the current files released are considered “unresolved cases.”

“Meaning the government is unable to make a definitive determination on the nature of the observed phenomena,” the Department of War said.

“Under this Administration, we will pursue the truth and share our findings with the American people.”
