A top FEMA official who had drawn scrutiny for bizarre past remarks — including claiming he teleported to a Waffle House — has been pushed out of the agency, four sources tell CNN.
White House officials appointed Gregg Phillips in December to lead FEMA’s Office of Response and Recovery, one of the agency’s most consequential leadership roles, despite his history of promoting election conspiracy theories, particularly in the aftermath of the 2020 election. He came under national scrutiny in March after CNN reported on a cache of outlandish comments from his appearances on right-wing podcasts, including the teleportation claim.
The Department of Homeland Security, which oversees FEMA, confirmed Thursday that Phillips is leaving the agency, saying he is taking leave for personal reasons. But sources tell CNN the departure was not voluntary: New DHS leadership had grown weary of the embarrassment surrounding Phillips’ public image and of his periodic clashes with the department’s other leaders.
Even so, Phillips had won over some career FEMA officials. When he arrived, then-Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem and her de facto chief of staff Corey Lewandowski were taking aggressive steps to rein in FEMA, shrink the agency and bottleneck funding.
FEMA officials said Phillips stood out because he was willing to resist moves that would potentially hobble the agency’s work.
The Washington Post first reported Phillips’ departure.
CNN previously reported that Phillips described multiple incidents in which he said he had been physically teleported, including one in which he said he suddenly found himself at a Waffle House roughly 50 miles from where he had been moments earlier.
He later defended those remarks publicly, saying they reflected genuine spiritual experiences and citing biblical examples of supernatural transportation writing in one comment, “haters gonna hate.”
President Donald Trump later told CNN that Phillips’ claims “sounds a little strange” and said he would look into the matter: “I know nothing about teleporting or him, but I’ll find out about it right now.”
CNN also previously reported that Phillips had a long record of inflammatory public statements before joining FEMA, including violent rhetoric directed at political opponents, repeated promotion of false election fraud claims, and comments warning that migrants were coming to kill Americans while urging podcast listeners to arm themselves.

For a bureaucrat, John Bolton cuts a pretty memorable figure. An überhawk who helped architect George W. Bush’s disastrous war in Iraq, Bolton also flamed out of Donald Trump’s first administration, wrote a bestselling memoir with a title inspired by the musical Hamilton, and sports a trademark walrus mustache. Now the former top Republican official can add another distinction to his résumé: felon. Bolton pleaded guilty this morning to mishandling classified government information. On the surface, this looks like yet another instance of a Trump antagonist falling victim to a politicized Justice Department. But the story isn’t quite that simple.
Rewind. What exactly did Bolton do?
Last year, a federal grand jury indicted Bolton on 18 counts. Prosecutors accused him of sharing national defense information with people—reportedly his wife and daughter—who helped him with his aforementioned memoir, The Room Where It Happened. The charges collectively threatened Bolton with decades in prison, and he initially fought them. But after striking a plea deal, he admitted to one count of illegally retaining classified information. Under the deal, he’ll pay a $2.25 million fine and face up to five years behind bars.

TAMPA, Fla. — U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) forces conducted strikes against Iran, June 26, as a powerful response to yesterday’s attack on a commercial ship that was transiting the Strait of Hormuz.
U.S. aircraft struck Iranian missile and drone storage locations and coastal radar sites after Iran hit M/V Ever Lovely on June 25 with a one-way attack drone. The Singapore-flagged cargo ship was exiting the Strait of Hormuz along the Omani coast at the time of Iran’s attack.
The unwarranted aggression against commercial shipping by Iranian forces clearly violated the ceasefire. Furthermore, Iran’s dangerous behavior undermined freedom of navigation as commerce increasingly flows through the vital international trade corridor.
CENTCOM forces continue to provide safe passage coordination and support to commercial vessels transiting the strait. The U.S. military remains present and vigilant to ensure all aspects of the agreement with Iran are adhered to, obeyed, and in full force and effect.

Senator Ruben Gallego (D-AZ) warned an assortment of party elites earlier this week that Democrats will be “in trouble” if Secretary of State Marco Rubio secures the GOP’s 2028 presidential nomination.
Gallego “told a gathering of fellow lawmakers, beltway types, and activists a scary campfire story,” reported The Bulwark’s Adrian Carrasquillo.
“If Marco Rubio is the nominee for president, we are in trouble,” said Gallego.
From Carrasquillo’s story:
Gallego wasn’t definitively declaring that Secretary of State Rubio would win the Latino vote if he mounts a presidential bid in 2028. He was arguing something more nuanced: that the bilingual Cuban-American would blunt the growing strength Democrats have been showing in states like Arizona, Nevada, Texas, and Florida with voters who have recoiled at Trump’s policies and priorities.
Gallego was doing his best impression of Dr. Strange in Marvel’s Infinity War—looking ahead to see a dark hellscape of a future.But he also had a remedy to offer: If the Democratic party got its act together not just with Latino voters but with better messaging immigration ahead of the 2026 midterms, a presidential election letdown could be avoided in 2028. He had reason to believe that Democrats could do just that.
Rubio has emerged as one of two frontrunners for the Republican nomination alongside Vice President JD Vance.According to Maggie Haberman and Jonathan Swan’s new book, Regime Change, President DonaldTrump once quipped that “Cubans love gold” after being asked if his successor might change his Oval Office makeover. in an apparent reference to Rubio.
“I don’t think Democrats need a Latino candidate.But they need to make sure there is a targeted campaign to Latinos if Marco Rubio runs,” said Gallego during his remarks this week. “We would be playing with a lot less territory, because of the voter out there excited about the first Latino candidate running for president on top of the ticket.”

2013 UQ4 was discovered by the Catalina Sky Survey on 2013 October 23 and it immediately generated considerable
scientific interest due to its large size (absolute magnitude of 12.8) and very unusual retrograde, comet-like orbit
(a = 60.4 AU, e = 0.98, i = 145.3 deg, q = 1.1 AU, Q = 119.7 AU, P = 469.0 years).
This object did not show any cometary activity at the time of discovery, but images from May 7, 2014 from
the iTelescope Observatory (station Q62) in Siding Spring, Australia, show a coma, and consequently 2013 UQ4 has been classified
as a comet by the Minor Planet Center: C/2013 UQ4 (Catalina).
Similar to other cometary nuclei, 2013 UQ4 appears to be optically dark (Binzel et al., 2013) with a ~4%
optical albedo. Size estimates are all over the map from 7 - 23 km. Below we adopt D = 23.5 km from
thermal modeling by A. K. Mainzer using WISE data obtained before this object showed cometary activity.
The rotational period for 2013 UQ4 is not known at this time, but based on the current knowledge of the asteroids
and comets in this size range, the period is likely longer than 6 hours.

A fundamental change took place last week as the US military decided to take on Israel and the Khazarian Mafia, effectively ending World War III with a white hat victory.
The Donald Trump who went to last week’s G7 meeting in France is working for the same white hat faction who controlled the US presidency until June of 2025. There, he signed an armistice agreement with Iran at the Versailles Palace, the same place the agreement to end World War I was signed. This means, effectively, the undeclared World War III is about to end and so will Israel.
World War I was the first phase in a long-term Khazarian mafia project that envisaged World War II and then World War III to set up a Khazarian Mafia-controlled Lucifer-worshipping World Government centered in Jerusalem. That project has now ended.
This is part of the text of the agreement reached between Iran and the US, and it shows how big a change has taken place:
Iran and the United States, along with their allies, will jointly agree to end the war and military operations on all fronts, including Lebanon, immediately and permanently, and undertake from now on not to initiate any war or military operation against each other, refrain from the threat or use of force against each other and guarantee Lebanon’s territorial integrity and national sovereignty…The final agreement will confirm the permanent end of the war on all fronts, including in Lebanon…Iran and the United States commit to respecting each other’s sovereignty and territorial integrity and refraining from interfering in each other’s internal affairs…immediately upon the MoU’s signing, the United States will begin to lift its anti-Iran naval blockade and stop any harassment or obstruction against the country, and will fully end the blockade within 30 days…traffic by vessels will return to the pre-war level to be restored by Iran, and the United States also undertakes to withdraw its military forces from areas around Iran within 30 days after the final agreement…the United States commits, along with its regional partners, to developing a definitive and mutually agreed-upon plan for Iran’s reconstruction and economic development by providing at least 300 billion U.S. dollars…the United States will provide all necessary approvals, waivers, and permissions for relevant financial transactions…the United States commits to lifting all types of sanctions against Iran, including the resolutions of the UN Security Council and the Board of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), and all unilateral U.S. sanctions, both the primary and secondary ones…Tehran will maintain the status quo of its nuclear program, and Washington will not impose any new sanctions or deploy additional military forces to the region…the U.S. Department of the Treasury will issue waivers for the export of Iranian crude oil, petroleum products, and derivatives, and all associated services, including banking transactions, insurance, and transportation…Washington also commits to fully making available any restricted or frozen Iranian funds and assets upon the MoU’s implementation.
While this is technically an agreement between the US and Iran, what it really means is the KM has lost its war to enslave humanity.
Speaking at the G7 summit in France on Wednesday, Trump warned that without the deal with Iran, the [US] world would have faced “bedlam” as oil reserves were set to run out in approximately four weeks.
“We run out of reserves at about four weeks,” he told reporters. “You know, there are reserves all over the world, and we would really run out, and there’ll be a time when you wouldn’t be able to get it.”
The US Strategic Petroleum Reserve has hit its lowest level since 1983, standing at about 340 million barrels – down from 415 million at the start of the war. That is enough for 17 days of US consumption.
