I certainly hope that President Trump can seal this deal, it would be historic.

That said, it will be nearly impossible for many of the countries to make a peace deal with Israel because of Gaza. It will also be nearly impossible for Israel to accept an end to the war w/ the current Iranian gov in power.

We don’t need a deal to just leave, playing referee in these disputes has gotten us nothing but death & debt.

Pull our troops out, negotiate pragmatic deals individually with Middle East nations, including Iran, as needed.

For quite a long time I’ve seen the docu-series advertised on Fox Business Channel, “Legends and Lies: The Patriots. For some reason I have yet to take the time to watch any of this but today is Memorial Day and as we honor those who gave their lives for our freedom in one way or another, I’m sitting here watching it now. The series at this point is in season 2 and I just finished watching episode 7 about Marion Francis. I may have heard a bit about this Man but I had no idea just how important General Francis’s contribution to the formation of our Republic was nor did I have one clue that he is the Father of how we conduct war operations to this very day.

Anons, I have to tell you that the magnitude and surrealness of what the Founders took upon themselves to not only free themselves from King George but to establish the United States of America is inexplicable. The Founding principles, God given rights, freedom, liberty and the pursuit of happiness and what it took to obtain this is beyond the rational ability to explain it. All I can say is that God’s hand was guiding all of this. Every, single, thing that we can look around and define in this great nation of ours they provide for. It is almost impossible to wrap one’s head around what these incredible men and women did. Did for themselves and by extension did for all of US today. Watching just that one episode was profound beyond comprehension to me and I will make the effort to go back and start with season 1, episode 1 of this incredible docu-series and watch every season and every episode to the very end.

This is our history. This is how and why all of US are here today and it is incredible. This is how our history should be taught in every realm of education from elementary school to graduate school. We allowed the “enemy within” to commandeer education almost to a point of finality for this Republic. We were either ignorant or non responsive and complacent and the cost of either of these abnormalities has almost cost US all, our existence. And still may, if we all are not careful. Thank God Almight for President Donald J. Trump.

If you get the chance to watch this true and factual depiction of how and more importantly, WHO, bourn this Republic and understand that these Patriots risked everything they had, "their lives, their fortunes and sacred honor" so that all men, all women and children regardless of color, creed or religious belief, could live life, have liberty and pursue happiness. Then please do. You will be moved to a sense of pride and profound thankfulness in realizing that what these Patriots did, they did for all of US.

The NYT article reveals that our military is telling President Trump what has been obvious from the onset of this war: there is no quick military solution in Iran and our early actions set the conditions for the stalemate we are in now.

Trump’s best option is to declare victory and walk away now. Limit our exposure in the region, reduce the risk of Iran restarting the war on their terms, and reset negotiations with sanctions relief as both carrot and stick.

The Iranians have adapted to our attacks. They can “win” simply by not losing. Future strikes will be less effective, cost us more in casualties, and further harden Iranian resolve.

Killing the Supreme Leader rallied the Iranian people around the regime. By also eliminating many moderate leaders, we’ve left ourselves with mostly hardliners to negotiate with, who are unlikely to give Trump the concessions he’s demanding.

Two lessons we should have learned in the GWOT:

1. If you stay within reach of the enemy, they will adapt and ultimately win the long war by grinding us down. Iran is doing this on a massive scale with ballistic missiles, air defenses, and drones—the same concept as IEDs, just more advanced.

2. Attacking a nation will rally the people around the regime we’re trying to overthrow, or around forces far worse.

Regime change is a fool’s errand.

Democrats in several states have been airing ads linking Republican rivals to the late sex offender

Several Democratic candidates vying for seats in the US Congress have accused their Republican rivals of protecting the wealthy and politically connected associates of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, referring to them as the “Epstein class.”

The Epstein files have also exposed growing divisions within the GOP. Outgoing Representative Thomas Massie, who joined Democrat Ro Khanna in advancing the Epstein Files Transparency Act, has suggested his push for disclosure put him at odds with Trump.
