Microsoft’s cyber threat assessment unit said on Aug. 9 that a high-ranking official on a U.S. presidential campaign had been hacked by an Iran-backed group, with the Trump campaign later revealing that it had been the target of a cyber attack and linked the breach to “foreign sources hostile to the United States.”
The report from the Microsoft Threat Analysis Center (MTAC) indicates that an Iranian group called Mint Sandstorm that is connected to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps sent a spear phishing email in June to a high-ranking official on a presidential campaign from the compromised email account belonging to a former senior campaign adviser.

One such intrigue revolves around Deagel.com, an obscure online entity known for its exhaustive data on military capabilities and eyebrow-raising depopulation forecasts for 2025.
We can reveal that recent findings appear to link Deagel directly to significant players on the world stage: The Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD), and The Rockefeller Foundation.
And current real-world data on deaths in the West which includes figures on mortality rates per 100,000 showing the quadruple-vaccinated are more likely to die of any cause than the unvaccinated, strongly suggest Deagel’s depopulation forecast is not just an estimation but in fact, a target that is on track to be hit thanks to the deadly effects of Covid-19 vaccination.
But the intrigue deepens.
Declassified documents, released via Freedom of Information Act requests, reveal Deagle’s communication with the then United States Director of Central Intelligence, Stansfield Turner, hinting at a relationship with the CIA.
One document, dated 1977, intriguingly refers to an event described as “the most significant in the intelligence field since 1947.”

The Alliance for Securing Democracy (ASD) develops policy recommendations through research projects, including those on election integrity and analyzing various Russian state-backed communications. The Alliance for Securing Democracy is led by Laura Thornton and consists of an advisory council of more than a dozen individuals including John Podesta,former White House chief of staff to President Bill Clinton.
In early 2023,Hamilton 68, a digital dashboard the group promoted in 2017 as an effort to “help ordinary people, journalists, and other analysts identify Russian messaging themes and detect active disinformation” was exposed by left-leaning journalist Matt Taibbi as a “scam.”As part of his work on the Twitter Files, Taibbi provided internal emails from the social media firm during 2017 and early 2018 in which Twitter analysts found that Hamilton 68 did not primarily track Russian influence, but instead “generally right-leaning users” 1 2
“I’m increasingly of the opinion that this dashboard is actively damaging and promotes polarization and distrust through its shoddy methodology,” said one Twitter executive of Hamilton 68. “Real people need to know they’ve been unilaterally labeled Russian stooges without evidence or recourse. Alliance for Securing Democracy is led by director Laura Thornton, a senior fellow who has prior experience at the International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance (IDEA), a think tank where she managed various teams across Europe. She also previously worked at the National Democratic Institute. Russia and Ukraine are blaming each other for a fire at the Zaporizhzhia (Zaporozhye) nuclear power plant.
Yevgeny Balitsky, the Kremlin-backed governor of occupied Zaporizhzhia, attributed the fire to Ukrainian shelling. Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky alleges that Russian forces initiated the blaze despite the fact that the site has been under Russian control for two years, meaning a nuclear meltdown would have a much more immediate negative impact on Russian forces than on Ukraine.
The fire broke out on Sunday in the cooling towers of the six-reactor plant, which is the biggest in Europe. Balitsky and Zelensky both say there has been no radiation spike.
Zelensky claims Russia started the fire to “blackmail” him. Last Tuesday,
Ukrainian forces launched a surprise offensive into Russia in the Kursk region, which saw one of the most decisive battles between Axis and Soviet forces in 1943. It has penetrated roughly 30 kilometers (18.6 miles) into Russian territory.

Ukrainian officials say thousands of troops are participating in the Kursk operation, displacing over 76,000 residents and prompting a state of emergency declaration. Russian forces have been building up an overwhelming advantage in artillery and personnel over recent months, slowly taking control of Ukrainian fortress towns and villages in the Donbass (Donbas) region and reestablishing a presence near Kharkov (Kharkiv) after a surprise incursion that started in May.

Church Attacked Amid Riots, Government and Media Silent on ‘Allahu Akbar’ Chants.
A statue of Mother Mary at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church in Wembley, London, was found smashed to pieces last week amid ongoing anti-mass migration demonstrations and rival Muslim and far-left counter-demonstrations, many of which are turning violent.
Meanwhile, reports indicate a riot in nearby Croydon, which police attributed to mere “anti-social behavior,” featured Muslims marching through the streets chanting “Allahu Akbar!”
A congregant at St. Joseph’s, speaking anonymously to GB News, said of the church attack: “My Dad saw the pieces of Mother Mary on the floor, and I knew there wasn’t going to be news coverage on this.
“I wanted to push the message out that Christians are being attacked too. It’s not only about the church, it’s about the attack on Christians worldwide, everywhere. We feel fearful,” he continued, adding: “If the police actually did their job and protected all citizens, I think that would be positive.
"Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer, also criticized by the congregant, and the police have been accused of adopting a “two-tier” approach towards the disorder, slamming the anti-mass migration demonstrators as “far-right thugs” while largely ignoring the violence by Muslim and far-left counter-demonstrators and policing them much less aggressively.
GB News noted that in Croydon, a few miles from Wembley, police characterized a riot in which eight people were arrested for “assaulting emergency workers, possession of offensive weapons and other offenses” as “pure anti-social behavior,” offering no description of the rioters and not linking it to the protests and counter-protests at all.
However, video evidence clearly shows that the at least 50-stong mob in Croydon were chanting “Allahu Akbar!” during their rampage.

With the 2024 election rapidly coming, it is worth revisiting the actual tariff outcome to American consumers in order to dispel the popular myths about tariffs raising prices here at home. This might be the cited data you want to bookmark for later reference.

Right before the pandemic would hit a few months later, despite two years of doomsayer predictions from Wall Street’s professional punditry, all of them said Trump’s 2017 steel and aluminum tariffs on China, Canada and the EU would create massive inflation – it just wasn’t happening!
Overall, year-over-year inflation was hovering around 1.7 percent [Table-A BLS]; yup, that was our inflation rate. The rate in the latter half of 2019 was firmed up with less month-over-month fluctuation, and the rate basically remained consistent. [See Below] The U.S. economy was on a smooth glide path, strong, stable, and Main Street was growing with MAGAnomics at work.
A couple of important points. First, unleashing the energy sector to drive down overall costs to consumers, and industry outputs was a key part of President Trump’s America First MAGAnomic initiative. Lower energy prices help the worker economy, middle class and average American more than any other sector.
Which brings us to the second important point. Notice how food prices had very low year-over-year inflation – 0.5 percent. That is a combination of two key issues: low energy costs, and the fracturing of Big Ag’s hold on the farm production and the export dynamic:

The index for meats, poultry, fish, and eggs decreased 0.7 percent in August as the index for eggs fell 2.6 percent. For the previous twenty years, food prices had been increasingly controlled by Big Ag, and not by normal supply and demand. The commodity market became a ‘controlled market’. U.S. food outputs (farm production) was controlled and exported to keep the U.S. consumer paying optimal prices.
President Trump’s trade reset was disrupting this process. As farm products were less exported, the cost of the food in our supermarket became reconnected to a ‘more normal’ supply and demand cycle. Food prices dropped, and our pantry costs were lowered.
The Commerce Dept. then announced that retail sales climbed by 0.4 percent in August 2019, twice as high as the 0.2 percent analysts had predicted. The result highlighted retail sales strength of more than 4 percent year-over-year. These excellent results came on the heels of blowout data in July, when households boosted purchases of cars and clothing.
The better-than-expected number stemmed largely from a 1.8 percent jump in spending vehicles. Online sales, meanwhile, also continued to climb, rising 1.6 percent. That’s similar to July 2019, when Amazon held its two-day blowout Prime Day sale. (link)

Despite the efforts to remove and impeach President Trump, it did not look like middle class America was overly concerned about the noise coming from the pundits. Likely that’s because blue collar wages were higher, Main Street inflation was lower, and overall consumer confidence was strong. Yes, MAGAnomics was working.
Additionally, remember all those MSM hours and newspaper column inches where the professional financial pundits were claiming Trump’s tariffs were going to cause massive increases in prices of consumer goods?
Well, exactly the opposite happened [BLS report] Import prices were continuing to drop:
This was a really interesting dynamic that no one in the professional punditry would dare explain.
Donald Trump’s tariffs were targeted to specific sectors of imported products. [Steel, Aluminum, and a host of smaller sectors etc.] However, when the EU and China responded by devaluing their currency, that approach hit all products imported, not just the tariff goods.
Because the EU and China were driving up the value of the dollar, everything we were importing became cheaper. Not just imports from Europe and China, but actually imports from everywhere. All imports were entering the U.S. at substantially lower prices.
This meant when we imported products, we were also importing deflation.
This price result is exactly the opposite of what the economic experts and Wall Street pundits predicted back in 2017 and 2018 when they were pushing the rapid price increase narrative.
Because all the export dependent economies were reacting with such urgency to retain their access to the U.S. market, aggregate import prices were actually lower than they were when the Trump tariffs began:

Import prices from China have not advanced on a monthly basis since ticking up 0.1 percent in May 2018. The price index for imports from China fell 1.6 percent for the year ended in August.

Perseid Meteors over Stonehenge
What's happening in the sky above Stonehenge? A meteor shower: specifically, the Perseid meteor shower. A few nights ago, after the sky darkened, many images of meteors from this year's Perseids were captured separately and merged into a single frame. Although the meteors all traveled on straight paths, these paths appear slightly curved by the wide-angle lens of the capturing camera. The meteor streaks can all be traced back to a single point on the sky called the radiant, here just off the top of the frame in the constellation of Perseus. The same camera took a deep image of the background sky that brought up the central band of our Milky Way galaxy running nearly vertical through the image center. The featured image was taken from Wiltshire, England, being careful to include, at the bottom, the famous astronomical monument of Stonehenge. Although the Perseids peaked last night, some Perseid meteors should still be visible for a few more nights.

In a breathtaking display of nature's beauty, skywatchers worldwide witnessed a rare natural event: the Perseid meteor shower coinciding with the northern lights.
The Perseid meteor shower peak was anticipated, as it occurs annually when Earth passes through debris — small bits of ice and rock — left by Comet Swift-Tuttle, which last approached Earth in 1992. However, the appearance of simultaneous auroras was unexpected.
While forecasters had predicted some geomagnetic activity over the weekend, prompting the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Space Weather Prediction Center to issue a geomagnetic storm watch for Aug. 9 through Aug. 11, space weather can be unpredictable, and auroras only occur under just the right conditions.
However, everything fell into place over the weekend.
While some lucky stargazers managed to see fleeting glimpses of Perseid meteors, others witnessed the dancing northern lights and some were even lucky enough to witness the two at once!
This unique overlap allowed photographers to capture truly remarkable images.

A sheriff candidate in a Texas border countythat has never voted Republican in a presidential election said Friday he has been "shocked" by the number of residents who plan to support former President Trump in November.
Voters in Starr County, Texas – which is over 97% Hispanic or Latino – have overwhelmingly supported Democratic candidates in the last century, with 86% voting for former President Obama in 2012. In 2020, however, voters shifted away from the Democratic Party in droves, with Biden only grabbing 52% of the vote.
The county could now make a historic shift in 2024.
"I've been doing door-to-door campaigning in all pockets of this county," Starr County Republican sheriff candidate Alberto Olivares told "Fox & Friends First" Friday. "I am just shocked with the number of people that just volunteer that they're going to vote for Trump."
Olivares, a former Democrat himself, said Latinos have been historically conservative, but "for some reason" they have identified as Democrats for generations.
"We believe in God and supporting the family. We want a secure border, supporting our police officers, fiscal responsibilities. So we're conservatives."
Olivares added that people in his community are feeling the "financial squeeze" in addition to the border crisis.
"Border security being so close here is a very important issue. But so is the economy. And people are just struggling."
Olivares, a former Border Patrol agent, said he decided to run for sheriff because "enough is enough," adding it has been 118 years since the county had a Republican sheriff.
"I never dreamed of being a politician by any means, but, enough is enough, and we need some real leadership in the sheriff's office here. We need to increase security for the people. And, I think I'm the right guy for the job."
With Vice President Kamala Harris at 47% and Trump at 49%, the national race is very tight, according to the latest Fox News Power Rankings.(since it's Fox reporting this, Trump is probably at 54%)
Harris’ five-point improvement over Biden comes from upswings in key groups that had drifted away from the incumbent president, including Hispanic voters. Support has increased from 41% after the Biden-Trump debate to 57% now.

A resident has claimed that dozens of homeless people suddenly pitched tents and made camp in their front yard after being booted off the street.
The unnamed local in a south-central Minneapolis neighborhood claimed the homeless were defecating on the sidewalk and exposing themselves to passersby.
They emailed Ward 8 city councilor Andrea Jenkins claiming police did nothing to help them remove the encampment, according to CrimeWatchMinneapolis.
The email - allegedly sent to the local politician - included photos appearing to show people putting up large tents surrounded by piles of clothes and belongings, some crammed into shopping trolleys.
Another photo showed youths in hoodies standing around in a circle on the lawn.
'There are now about 40 people and they are taking s**ts on the sidewalks and showing their genitals for anyone to see,' they wrote.
'I have called the police 10 times and no response. The cops told me not to engage. This is an emergency situation. Can you do something?'
The local Twitter page claimed the person emailing Jenkins was the 'distraught' property owner who received no help from authorities.
It claimed the homeless were from two encampments evicted from public property earlier that day.
Minneapolis Police Department said the commanding officer of the third precinct and a homeless response team were aware of the situation.
'MPD talked to the neighbors and is following up with the owner of the property,' it said.
Jenkins is yet to respond and DailyMail.com has not independently verified the claims.

US offering Maduro ‘amnesty’ – WSJ
The long-shot deal would reportedly involve Washington dropping narcotics charges against the Venezuelan president
American officials have offered to drop “narco-terrorism” charges against Nicolas Maduro if the Venezuelan president transfers power to his political opponents, the Wall Street Journal reported on Sunday.
Maduro defeated Western-backed opposition figure Edmundo Gonzalez Urrutia by 51.2% to 44.2% in a presidential election last month, securing himself a third term in office. Gonzalez’s supporters, however, claim that the vote was rigged, and the US officially recognized Gonzalez as Venezuela’s president-elect earlier this month.
According to the Wall Street Journal’s sources, Washington is now attempting to persuade Maduro to cede power to Gonzalez. In secret talks with confidants of Maduro, the White House has offered to pardon the Venezuelan president and his allies, who are currently wanted in the US on drug charges.
American officials are also trying to enlist Brazil, Mexico, and Colombia – whose leftist governments are seen as sympathetic to Caracas – to convince Maduro to accept the deal, the newspaper reported. Meanwhile, Gonzalez’s allies have also offered security guarantees to Maduro if he were to step down.
The US Justice Department unsealed indictments against Maduro and more than a dozen Venezuelan political and military leaders in 2020, accusing them of “narco-terrorism,” and implicating them in a plot to “flood the United States with cocaine.” The State Department announced a $15 million reward for information leading to the arrest of the Venezuelan leader, and rewards of up to $10 million for each of his co-defendants.
The charges against Maduro came after previous attempts to dislodge him from power failed. Economic sanctions and veiled threats of military intervention from Washington were insufficient to break Maduro’s grip on power in 2018, while the US’ recognition of opposition leader Juan Guaido as Venezuela’s ‘interim president’ in 2019 amounted to little more than a symbolic gesture, with Guaido currently living in exile in Miami.
With the Venezuelan military and security forces still loyal to Maduro, the WSJ’s sources conceded that the amnesty deal is unlikely to succeed. A similar deal was offered to Maduro during secret talks in Qatar last year, they said, adding that the Venezuelan leader refused to discuss any arrangement that would involve him leaving office.
Maduro’s inauguration is scheduled for January. US officials involved in the secret talks told the WSJ that they hope to strike a deal before then, while the newspaper described the potential return of Donald Trump to the White House as a point of leverage that the US holds over Maduro.
Whereas Trump imposed heavy sanctions on Venezuela’s oil industry and backed Guaido, President Joe Biden temporarily lifted these penalties last year. However, the WSJ’s sources believe that “Maduro mistrusts Washington, no matter who inhabits the White House.”
Maduro said at the beginning of this month that he is willing to restart sanctions-relief and prisoner-exchange talks with the US, on the condition that Washington “should stay out of Venezuela’s internal affairs.”

Rocket Lab launched its 10th mission of the year on Sunday (Aug. 11), sending aloft an Earth-observing radar satellite for the California company Capella Space.
An Electron vehicle lifted off from Rocket Lab's New Zealand site on Sunday at 9:18 a.m. EDT (1318 GMT; 1:18 a.m. on Aug. 12 local New Zealand time).
The 59-foot-tall (18 meters) rocket did its job as planned. It deployed the spacecraft, called Acadia-3, about 57 minutes after liftoff into a circular orbit 382 miles (615 kilometers) above Earth.
Rocket Lab called Sunday's mission "A Sky Full of SARS." That's a nod to Acadia-3, which is a synthetic aperture radar (SAR) satellite.
"A Sky Full of SARS" was Rocket Lab's fifth launch overall for San Francisco-based Capella Space, whose satellites return sharp imagery of Earth in all weather conditions, day or night — a key benefit of SAR tech.
"Capella Space provides easy access to frequent and timely information affecting dozens of industries worldwide, including defense and intelligence, supply chain, insurance, maritime and others," Rocket Lab wrote in the press kit for Sunday's mission, which you can find here.
"Its market-leading SAR satellites are matched with unparalleled data infrastructure to quickly deliver reliable global insights that sharpen our understanding of the changing world — improving decisions about commerce, conservation and security on Earth," Rocket Lab added.
"A Sky Full of SARS" was the 10th launch of the year for Rocket Lab, and the company's 52nd orbital mission overall.
Rocket Lab aims to make Electron's first stage reusable; it has recovered boosters from the sea multiple times to date and has even reflown an engine on a previous mission.
But no recovery operations were performed on "A Sky Full of SARS."

Huge space radar station to be built in Wales

Plans to develop a major space radar station in Wales have been confirmed by the UK government.
Known as the Deep Space Advanced Radar Capability or Darc, the Welsh site will be part of network of ground-based radars in Australia, Britain and the United States providing "global space monitoring" and the ability to track objects in deep space.
The Welsh Darc will be built at the Cawdor Barracks near St David's in Pembrokeshire - formerly known as RAF Brawdy - which is currently home to 14 Signal Regiment, a specialist electronic warfare unit.
In 2016 the Ministry of Defence (MoD) announced the barracks would close no earlier than 2028 and the regiment would redeploy.
Last year the UK Tory government announced Cawdor as the preferred location for the UK's contribution to Darc, and that plan has now been confirmed by the Labour government in Westminster.
Defence secretary John Healey said the redevelopment of the site would keep the barracks open and secure jobs and defence capabilities for the future. He said:
"Space plays a crucial role in our daily lives – used by everything from our mobile phones to banking services.
It is also used by UK Defence to conduct vital tasks such as supporting military operations, navigating forces and gathering intelligence.
This new radar programme will not only enhance our awareness of deep space, but also help protect our space assets alongside our closest partners."
The new deep space radar station will feature more than two dozen radar dishes each some 66ft or 20metres tall.
The MoD says it will secure long-term jobs and help protect essential satellite communication and navigation networks as well as benefitting the land, air, and maritime forces of the three participating countries.
But the plans have met with opposition from some locals with the Pembrokeshire Against the Radar group campaigning against the project.
Welsh Secretary Jo Stevens said the government would work with the local community to ensure the success of the project. She said:
"The proposed redevelopment of Cawdor Barracks will help secure jobs in the area as well as protecting our national security.
This is an important project for Pembrokeshire and this government is committed to working with the local community to ensure it is a success."
Cawdor Barracks was opened as RAF Brawdy in 1944 as part of Coastal Command and was originally used for conducting anti-submarine patrols.
It was subsequently used for a variety of roles by both the RAF and Royal Navy over the following decades - including being home to the famous yellow helicopters of the Air Sea Rescue squadron - before being transferred to the Army in the 1990s and renamed.
