WW3 fears as Chinese state propaganda warns 'war could be triggered at any time'

A series of provocative incursions from nuclear-capable Chinese warplanes is ratcheting up tensions over the tiny US-backed island, and a war of words could easily develop into an armed confrontation

A day after the Chinese air force deployed a record number of warplanes into Taiwan’s airspace in what was described as an "irresponsible provocative action,” China has warned that war could be imminent.

On Monday, 34 Chinese J-16 fighters escorted 12 nuclear-capable H-6 bombers into Taiwanese territory, bringing the total of Chinese aircraft sent into Taiwan's defence zone over the past four days to almost 150.

Since 1949, Taiwan has described itself as an independent nation but the Chinese government maintains that the island – around half the size of Scotland – is a breakaway province.

Recent moves by Taiwan's government suggest that the island could be close to formally declaring independence – a step that could push Beijing into direct action.

China has long had plans to recapture Taiwan but because the Taiwanese have the backing of the US, any armed confrontation could quickly escalate into a global conflict.

Writing in Foreign Affairs magazine, Taiwan's President Tsai Ing-wen wrote that there would be "catastrophic" consequences for peace and democracy in Asia if the island were to fall to China.

"It would signal that in today's global contest of values, authoritarianism has the upper hand over democracy," President Tsai warned.

In the Global Times, a newspaper widely seen as a tool of the Chinese government, an editorial mockingly stated: "It seems that the [Taiwanese] authorities are really scared."

Warning that a face-off between the superpowers could be just days away, the piece went on: “The strategic collusion between the US and Japan and the DPP authorities is becoming more audacious, and the situation across the Taiwan Straits has almost lost any room for manoeuvre teetering on the edge of a face-off, creating a sense of urgency that the war may be triggered at any time”.

The chilling message ended: “If the US and the DPP authorities do no take the initiative to reverse the current situation, the Chinese mainland’s military punishment for ‘Taiwan independence’ secessionist forces will be triggered… Time will prove that this warning is not just a verbal threat.”

In a defiant statement, Taiwanese Foreign Minister Joseph Wu said:“If China is going to launch a war against Taiwan, we will fight to the end, and that is our commitment.”

President Tsai added that Taiwan would "do whatever it takes to defend itself".

The Ugandan woman, who was preparing to board the American Airlines flight in McAllen, TX, told Avila that she, her husband, and toddler were headed for Portland, Oregon. Victor asked her how they got from Uganda to McAllen, Texas? The Ugandan woman explained that she and her family flew directly from Uganda to Mexico City, Mexico, where they met with a smuggler who they paid $5,000 per family member to secure their passage across the Mexican border to Texas. She mistook the Spanish-speaking Avila for someone interested in helping other illegals to make their way across the border and shared the phone number of the man who smuggled them into America.

The photo below shows the Ugandan woman, her husband, and her son preparing to go through “security” before boarding their American Airlines flight. According to Avila, neither the woman, her husband, or her son had any identification and were given a yellow packet containing boarding passes and paperwork from the US Border Patrol that allowed them to bypass the identification process with TSA.

China Manipulating Google, Bing Search Results To Advance Covid-19 Conspiracy Theories

China has been taking advantage of a 'data void' in order to flood social media platforms with Chinese-backed conspiracy theories regarding the origins of Covid-19, which in turn affects algorithmic results from popular search engines such as Google and Bing, according to the Washington Post, citing a Tuesday report by the Alliance for Securing Democracy (ASD).

The Chinese posts have almost exclusively focused on a theory that Covid-19 was created in a lab at Fort Detrick, home to the US Army's Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases (USAMRIID) - which will ring a bell for anyone who read The Hot Zone, and was then purposefully spread throughout Wuhan, China during the October 2019 Military World Games.

Top Secret CIA Cable Admits "Dozens" Of Agents Abroad Are Being Captured, Killed

It was revealed this week in a bombshell New York Times report that the CIA has raised the alarm with all its overseas stations and officers that an unusually high number of US informants are being captured and executed abroad. There are "dozens" of such instances, according to an agency memo.

The report is an incredibly rare instance of the media getting hold of a fresh, very recent highly classified memo that's also sure to be embarrassing for the agency. "The message, in an unusual top-secret cable, said that the CIA’s counterintelligence mission center had looked at dozens of cases in the last several years involving foreign informants who had been killed, arrested or most likely compromised," the NYT writes.

"Although brief, the cable laid out the specific number of agents executed by rival intelligence agencies — a closely held detail that counterintelligence officials typically do not share in such cables."

The cable warned its officers across the globe against put "mission over security" - which it strongly suggested was a key cause that's leading to poor tradecraft, putting agents at risk. "Agents" in this context means foreign and local assets recruited by the CIA to spy in their home countries, a dangerous endeavor which puts all the risk on the foreign person (and their family) who feeds sensitive information to their CIA handler.

The cable also cited the growing capabilities and awareness on the part of foreign and rival agencies of US intelligence's methods. According to the NY Times synopsis of what's in the top secret memo:

The cable highlighted the struggle the spy agency is having as it works to recruit spies around the world in difficult operating environments. In recent years, adversarial intelligence services in countries such as Russia, China, Iran and Pakistan have been hunting down the CIA’s sources and in some cases turning them into double agents.

Especially the growing biometric technology deployed by China is seen as a serious problem for maintaining local assets' cover.

The report continues by spelling out, "The large number of compromised informants in recent years also demonstrated the growing prowess of other countries in employing innovations like biometric scans, facial recognition, artificial intelligence and hacking tools to track the movements of CIA officers in order to discover their sources."

DOJ Announces Launch Of National Crypto Enforcement Team As FDIC Mulls Insuring Stablecoins

One of the catalysts behind crypto's impressive surge in the past week emerged last Friday, when the WSJ reported that the Biden admin was seeking to regulate stablecoin issuers as banks and was "considering ways to impose bank-like regulation on the cryptocurrency companies that issue stablecoins, including prodding the firms to register as banks." Coming at the same time as both Jerome Powell and Gary Gensler said they did not seek to bank crypto, the news was confirmation that the regulatory apparatus was seeking to integrate the crypto space within the confines of the state - especially since taxes on cryptos are expected to generate tens of billions in government revenues to the Democrats "deficit neutral" multi-trillion spending plan. In short, this was very good news for digital tokens as it eliminated the worst possible outcome: a China-style terminal crackdown on the sector.

Today, we got more good news when Cointelegraph reported that an official from the Office of the Attorney General said the United States government is going to take a more active role in enforcement action against actors using cryptocurrencies for money laundering and other cybercrimes. In effect, the DOJ is already policing cryptos as if they were securities, providing an implicit security to investors even though the formal regulatory treatment of cryptos remains nebulous.

Speaking at the Aspen Institute Cyber Summit on Wednesday, Deputy Attorney General Lisa Monaco said the Justice Department had launched the National Cryptocurrency Enforcement Team, who aim is to target platforms “that help criminals launder or hide their criminal proceeds.” Monaco cited her office’s work against Darknet-based Bitcoin (BTC) mixing service Helix in August but said the U.S. government should be doing more.

“We want to strengthen our capacity to dismantle the financial ecosystem that enables these criminal actors to flourish and — quite frankly — to profit from what they’re doing,” said Monaco. “We’re going to do that by drawing on our cyber experts and cyber prosecutors and money-laundering experts.”

Monaco, who has often been a central figure in the U.S. government’s response to major ransomware and cyberattacks involving cryptocurrency payments, added that “cryptocurrency exchanges want to be the banks of the future. We need to make sure that folks can have confidence when they’re using these systems, and we need to make sure we’re poised to root out abuse that can take hold on them.” She should know: she was part of a task force that “found and recaptured” millions of dollars worth of Bitcoin paid to the allegedly Russia-based DarkSide hackers following an attack on the Colonial Pipeline system in May.

Brazil Police Find Millions Worth Of Nazi Memorabilia at Home of Suspected Pedophile

RIO DE JANEIRO—Police in Rio de Janeiro said on Wednesday they had found a haul of Nazi memorabilia and weapons worth an estimated 3 million euros (approximately $3.4 million) at the home of a Brazilian man suspected of raping a minor.

Rio’s civil police said they found more than 1,000 items at the home of the 58-year-old unnamed suspect, including Nazi uniforms, periodicals, paintings, Nazi insignia, images of Adolf Hitler, flags, and medals of the Third Reich. They also found guns and ammunition from the era.

The haul was discovered after police went to the man’s home to serve an arrest warrant on suspicions he had raped a minor and abused other children in his condominium in the west of the city. The suspect was also charged with illegal possession of a weapon and racial discrimination.

Police are probing the suspect’s connection to Nazi and other far-right groups and trying to ascertain if he was active in the marketplace for such objects.

Armond said a museum would need to be found for the collection.

“This is something that is totally unusual and shocking,” he said.

AP Falsely Claims Biden Wasn’t Asked To Label Parents ‘Domestic Terrorists’, School Boards Association Actually Requested It

The National School Boards Association specifically asked Biden to investigate parents under "the PATRIOT Act in regards to domestic terrorism"

Today the Associated Press failed to fact check the claim that the National School Boards Association (NSBA) asked Joe Biden to investigate angry parents for domestic terrorism. In reality, the NSBA sent a letter addressed to Joe Biden, urging his administration to consider using the PATRIOT Act and other laws against domestic terrorism against parents who are concerned with Critical Race Theory and other extremist school literature.

In the The Associated Press’s “assessment,” they rate the claim false. Instead, the once respected news agency claims, the “NSBA asked the administration to” investigate crimes that “could be the equivalent to a form of domestic terrorism and hate crimes.”

According to the Associated Press, it is materially different for the NSBA to urge Biden to investigate domestic terrorism versus crimes that could be the same as domestic terrorism. This alone, the agency, seems to suggest, is enough to beat this fact check. They are factually incorrect.

In reality, this is exactly what the NSBA wrote in a letter dated September 29, as National File previously reported, emphasis added:

As these acts of malice, violence, and threats against public school officials have increased, the classification of these heinous actions could be the equivalent to a form of domestic terrorism and hate crimes. As such, NSBA requests a joint expedited review by the U.S. Departments of Justice, Education, and Homeland Security, along with the appropriate training, coordination, investigations, and enforcement mechanisms from the FBI, including any technical assistance necessary from, and state and local coordination with, its National Security Branch and Counterterrorism Division, as well as any other federal agency with relevant jurisdictional authority and oversight.

Additionally, NSBA requests that such review examine appropriate enforceable actions against these crimes and acts of violence under the Gun-Free School Zones Act, the PATRIOT Act in regards to domestic terrorism, the Matthew Shepard and James Byrd Jr. Hate Crimes Prevention Act, the Violent Interference with Federally Protected Rights statute, the Conspiracy Against Rights statute, an Executive Order to enforce all applicable federal laws for the protection of students and public school district personnel, and any related measure. As the threats grow and news of extremist hate organizations showing up at school board meetings is being reported, this is a critical time for a proactive approach to deal with this difficult issue.

While the AP relies entirely on a paragraph comparing crimes to domestic terrorism, the NSBA itself specifically urges the Biden administration to review potential violations of “the PATRIOT Act in regards to domestic terrorism.”

In other words, the often criticized laws used against those suspected of either being terrorists or affiliated with them in the frenetic years following the devastating terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001 should now be used against upset parents who attend school board meetings. If found guilty, those parents would be labeled domestic terrorists.

Facebook Products Under 'Reputational Review' After Whistleblower, Media Question Safety

On Tuesday, former Facebook employee Frances Haugen testified before a US Senate panel, urging the creation of a new regulatory framework that demands increased transparency. The whistleblower warned that inaction would allow the profit-focused social media giant to continue obscuring internal research on the known dangers of its products.

In light of Haugen's testimony and related Facebook safety concerns, executives at the tech company have reportedly stalled a number of new product rollouts and are now in the process of conducting a series of "reputational reviews" to forecast public response to the products, and to ensure these developments do not adversely impact children.

More than a dozen individuals have been tasked with conducting the reviews, the Wall Street Journal reported on Wednesday, citing people familiar with the matter.

Marine Officer Scheller OfficiallyCharged with Contempt, Disrespect over Viral Videos

Lt. Col. Stu Scheller was formally charged by the Marine Corps on Wednesday withsix violations of the Uniform Code of Military Justice and referred to a special court-martial, the latest in a legal saga that unfolded after he criticized senior leaders on social media over the Afghanistan withdrawal.

The charges include contempt toward officials and disrespect toward superior officers, among others, following Scheller's video posts beginning at the end of August, including at least one showing him in uniform, the Marine Corps said in a statement.

The filing puts the embattled Marine officer one step closer to a court-martial.But Scheller still hopes to cut a deal for an honorable discharge, according to a source with knowledge of the discussions, and the case might never make it to trial.

"I think it's very likely that they will accept a resignation in lieu of court-martial," said Greg Rinckey, a former U.S. Army prosecutor and Judge Advocate General's Corps defense attorney who has handled hundreds of cases as a civilian lawyer.

Scheller rose to prominence Aug. 26 for a viral video of himself in Marine cammies demanding accountability from senior military leaders following a suicide bombing that killed 13 U.S. troops in Afghanistan that same day.

After that first video, Scheller was removed from command and, according to one of his subsequent Facebook posts, ordered to undergo a mental health screening. He also was ordered to stop posting on social media – an order he seems to have ignored.

Other charges filed Wednesday include willfully disobeying a superior officer, dereliction of duty, failure to obey an order, and conduct unbecoming an officer and a gentleman.

Rinckey said the case now will head to an Article 32 hearing, where an officer will make sure that the charges are appropriate to move forward to a court-martial.

If the case does go to court-martial, any punishment probably would be light and it's unlikely Scheller would be dismissed from the Corps, Rinckey said.

"A panel may give him a letter of reprimand," he said. "There is always the risk that they could give him some confinement for disobeying an order."

In the meantime, the case has set off a discussion about the freedom troops especially officers have to comment publicly on service policies and their leaders.

Marine Corps spokesman Sam Stephenson said there are "proper forums" in the military through which to raise concerns with the chain of command.

Generally speaking, "posting to social media criticizing the chain of command is not the proper manner in which to raise concerns," he said.

Rinckey put it more plainly:As a commissioned officer, freedom of speech is limited.

"His first video, if he had stopped there, I don't think we'd be talking right now," Rinckey said.

However, Scheller made more than 10 posts, including several videos that included the unofficial resignation of his commission and threats to "bring the whole f—ing system down."

He claimed to have made the posts despite advice from friends, family and lawyers. In Sept. 16 posts on Facebook and LinkedIn, he wrote that he would make a public recommendation of charges of dereliction of duty against Marine Gen. Kenneth McKenzie, the head of U.S. Central Command.

Scheller's supporters, such as Eddie Gallagher, the now-retired Navy SEAL who was found not guilty after his former colleagues accused him of war crimes during a tumultuous deployment to Iraq in 2017, have made social media posts that call the gag order against Scheller unlawful.

However, Rinckey disagreed and said he believes it is a valid order, especially since Scheller posted in uniform.

Since being released from the brig Tuesday, Scheller has not made any posts on social media.

Rep. Louie Gohmert, R-Texas, has pointed to this case as an argument for the need to reform the military justice system.

"The UCMJ was created to facilitate the exigencies of war but is now too often abused and merely strips our soldiers of their constitutional rights," Gohmert said in a statement.

Although Congress recently has focused on making reforms to the military justice system, the changes have targeted how the military prosecutes sexual crimes, not cases like Scheller's.

Victorian man jailed for child abuse offences, after his arrest led to the rescue of children in the Philippines

A Victorian man who paid to watch children being sexually abused on webcam has been jailed yesterday (6 October 2021), after an Australian Federal Police-led investigation that led to investigations undertaken by the Philippine National Police (PNP) resulting in 23 Philippine children being rescued from harm.

The now 61-year-old man was sentenced to four years and one month imprisonment by the Melbourne County Court after pleading guilty in March (2021) to five child abuse offences, which also included trying to procure a 14-year-old girl for sexual activity during a trip overseas.

During the investigation into the man's crimes, the AFP referred intelligence to the Philippine Internet Crimes Against Children Centre (PICACC) that led to Philippine authorities rescuing nine children aged between two and 16, and arresting an alleged female abuse facilitator in February 2021. In July 2021, the female abuse facilitator pleaded guilty to facilitating online sexual abuse and was sentenced to 15 years' imprisonment.

The investigation also led to multiple other Victorian people being charged with separate child abuse-related offences. One of those matters led to Philippine authorities rescuing another 14 children and charging four alleged adult facilitators in May 2021. These cases are currently before the courts.

Police began investigating the Victorian man in November 2019, after Australian Border Force airport officers checked his possessions when he returned from a trip to the Philippines.

A search of his phone revealed text messages showing he had tried to arrange to meet a 14-year-old Philippine girl.

AFP officers interviewed and arrested the man, and the case was taken over by the Victoria Joint Anti Child Exploitation Team (JACET), which consists of AFP and Victoria Police officers.

Further enquiries led to officers executing search warrants at the man's home in Barnawartha, North-East Victoria, and on a storage locker at his workplace in Western Australia.

Police found records of conversations on his electronic devices that showed the man arranged to pay for Live Distance Child Abuse on multiple occasions since June 2017.

He had organised for adult 'facilitators' to force children to perform sexually explicit acts on webcam while he watched online.

Former U.S. Army major and his wife avoid more prison time in disturbing child abuse case

NEWARK, N.J. – A former U.S. Army major and his wife today were sentenced for a third time for their respective roles in abusing their adopted children – who all were less than 4 years old and developmentally delayed – through neglectful and cruel acts, including breaking their bones, denying them medical attention, withholding water and force-feeding them hot sauce, Acting U.S. Attorney Rachael Honig announced.

Carolyn Jackson, 44, was sentenced to time served and her husband, John E. Jackson, 46, formerly a major in the Army at the Picatinny Arsenal Installation in Morris County, New Jersey, was sentenced to 18 months of home confinement.

Convicted by a jury in July 2015 on multiple counts of child endangerment, Carolyn Jackson had received 24 months in prison and John E. Jackson had received probation and 400 hours of community service when they were originally sentenced in December 2015. The government appealed their sentences to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, which ruled in July 2017 that the District Court had committed several errors in the process of imposing those sentences. The defendants were resentenced on April 11, 2018. Carolyn Jackson received a sentence of 40 months in prison, with credit for time served. John Jackson received the same probationary sentence. The government appealed for a second time and the U.S. Court of Appeals vacated and remanded for a second resentencing after finding once again several errors.

The Jacksons were each found guilty following a four-month trial before U.S. District Judge Katharine S. Hayden in Newark federal court of one count of conspiracy to endanger the welfare of a child; Carolyn Jackson was found guilty of 11 substantive counts of endangering the welfare of a child and John Jackson was found guilty of nine substantive counts of endangering the welfare of a child. Judge Hayden imposed the sentences today in Newark federal court.

The case falls under federal jurisdiction because the crimes were committed on a military base. John Jackson was discharged from the Army in May 2015.

According to documents filed in this case and the evidence at trial:

From August 2005 until April 23, 2010, Carolyn and John Jackson conspired to engage in a constant course of neglect and cruelty towards three children they fostered and then adopted. The Jacksons told their biological children not to report the physical assaults to others, saying that the punishments and disciplinary techniques were justified, as they were “training” the adopted children how to behave.

After John Jackson was informed by a family friend that the oldest biological child had revealed the abuse in the Jackson household, John Jackson reported the breach to Carolyn Jackson, who retaliated against that biological child by beating the child 30 times with a belt.

As part of the conspiracy, the Jacksons physically assaulted their adopted children with various objects, causing two children to sustain fractured bones (including a fractured spine, fractured skull and fractured upper arms); failed to seek prompt medical attention for their injuries; withheld sufficient nourishment and food from their adopted children; withheld adequate water from two of their children and, at times, prohibited them from drinking water altogether; forced two of the children to consume foods intended to cause them pain and suffering, such as red pepper flakes and hot sauce, and caused one child to ingest excessive sodium or sodium-laden substances while being deprived of water, leading to a life-threatening condition on two separate occasions in two states. The Jacksons even punished one adopted child, who had to resort to sneaking food and drinking from the toilet, by hitting the child, making the child ingest hot sauce, and forcing the child to eat a raw onion like an apple.

None of the children, adoptive and biological, remain in the custody of the defendants.

Judge Hayden also sentenced Carolyn Jackson to one year of supervised release.

"Militia Violent Extremists" Added To A Growing List Of 9 Violent Domestic Extremists Groups

The War on Terror has a new target: distrustful Americans.

The absurdity of Homeland Security's creation of another 'domestic extremist group' is countered only by the mass media's pandering of anything terror related.

The FBI describes how they allegedly investigate terrorism in America by mentioning domestic extremism 5 times on their website.

"The Bureau works closely with its partners to neutralize terrorist cells and operatives here in the United States, to help dismantle extremist networks worldwide, and to cut off financing and other forms of support provided to foreign terrorist organizations."

The word extremist, according to the Cambridge Dictionary, means "someone who has beliefs that most people think are unreasonable and unacceptable." Merriam Webster defines extremist as a "belief in and support for ideas that are very far from what most people consider correct or reasonable."

This fits in nicely with the FBI's term "Black Identity Extremism" which they used until the BLM protests of 2020, when they were forced to appear to be politically correct and change their terminology.

"In late 2017, the FBI discontinued using the term "Black Identity Extremism." As a result, the FBI's Consolidated Strategy Guide for Fiscal Year (FY) 2020 does not use that term, and the only reference to the term in the FY20 19 Consolidated Strategy Guide is a footnote indicating that the term is no longer utilized by the FBI. As detailed below, the FBI has updated its terminology and currently uses the term "Racially or Ethnically Motivated Violent Extremism."

The FBI's letter went on to say that after conducting an annual "iterative process" they felt it best to rename "Black Identity Extremism."

"The FBI continually challenges, reviews, and evaluates intelligence to ensure the appropriate identification and categorization of each threat. This is an iterative process, based on analysis of a threat's impact and mitigation efforts, and is refreshed annually."

The FBI's "iterative process" concerning Black civil rights demonstrations has nothing to do with challenging, reviewing and evaluating domestic terrorism categorizations.

"In consultation with United States Intelligence Community partners and other partners at the National Security Council, the FBI has attempted to effectively integrate all types of racially or ethnically motivated violence into one threat category…"

Worried about offending minorities, the FBI has decided that the best thing to do is to categorize all minority civil rights demonstrations as Racially or Ethnically Motivated Violent Extremism.

Which brings us to Homeland Security's latest categorization: "Militia Violent Extremists."

The US Navy Sold 2 Obsolete Aircraft Carriers to Scrap Dealers for a Cent Each

The U.S. Navy sold two aircraft carriers to a ship-breaking company for one cent each after decades of service.

The cut-price fee reflects the fact the company will profit from selling the ship metal for scrap, officials said.

Naval Sea Systems Command, a U.S. Navy suborganization, said it had agreed to sell the USS Kitty Hawk and the USS John F. Kennedy to International Shipbreaking Limited, which is based in Brownsville, Texas, USA Today reported.

Towing and ship-breaking is a costly process, and the Navy has previously paid ISL large sums of money to recycle its ships, the Brownsville Herald reported.

"The contract values reflect that the contracted company will benefit from the subsequent sale of scrap steel, iron, and non-ferrous metal ores," said Alan Baribeau, a spokesman for the Naval Sea Systems Command in a statement cited by USA Today.

Both ships were launched in the 1960s and were capable of carrying dozens of aircraft. The Kitty Hawk was deployed in the Vietnam War, and the John F. Kennedy featured in the Gulf War.

The Kitty Hawk was decommissioned in 2017 and the John F. Kennedy in 2009. Both have spent their time since being maintained in naval yards.

The ships are due to be towed to Brownsville for scrapping in the coming months, an ISL spokesperson told the Brownsville Herald.

NPR reported today:

Sports anchor Sage Steele is off the air at ESPN after she called vaccine mandates “sick” and “scary” and questioned why former President Barack Obama identifies as Black even though he was raised by his white mother.

Steele made the comments last week on the podcast Uncut with Jay Cutler, and her removal from the air was reported by Front Office Sports.

In a statement, the network said: “At ESPN, we embrace different points of view – dialogue and discussion makes this place great. That said, we expect that those points of view be expressed respectfully, in a manner consistent with our values, and in line with our internal policies. We are having direct conversations with Sage and those conversations will remain private.”

ESPN also shared a statement from Steele. “I know my recent comments created controversy for the company, and I apologize,” she said. “We are in the midst of an extremely challenging time that impacts all of us, and it’s more critical than ever that we communicate constructively and thoughtfully.”

A week ago on the podcast, Steele told Cutler, a former NFL quarterback, that she had just gotten her COVID-19 vaccine after being required to by Disney, which owns ESPN.

“I respect everyone’s decision. I really do. But to mandate it is sick, and it’s scary to me in many ways,” she said. “But I have a job, a job that I love and, frankly, a job that I need.”

If she would have called President Trump a Russian puppet and those who don’t take the COVID vaccine losers, she would be fine and maybe get a raise. This country is in deep trouble.

Pentagon Mandates COVID-19 Vaccine for Civilian Workers

What blows my mind about this is the miltary has the most sophisticated scientific labs on the planet and they’re still mandating a kill shot for military and civilians

WASHINGTON — All civilians who work for the Defense Department and the military services must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 by Nov. 22, under new guidelines released Monday.

A memo signed by Deputy Defense Secretary Kathleen Hicks on Friday said the new mandate is in line with the presidential directive issued last month requiring federal agencies to implement vaccine requirements.

“Vaccinating (department) civilian employees against COVID-19 will save lives and allow for the defense of our Nation,” said Hicks. “Thank you for your focus on this critical mission.”

The memo lays out a schedule for the two-shot and one-shot vaccines.

The Pentagon earlier this year required all members of the military to get vaccines, and each service set up its own dates for the active duty and reserves to comply with the mandate. Those getting the FDA approved Pfizer vaccine must get their first doze by Oct. 18, and their second dose by Nov. 8. Those getting the Moderna vaccine must get their first dose by Oct. 11 and their second dose by Nov. 8. And those getting the one-shot Johnson & Johnson vaccine must get vaccinated by Nov. 8.

Individuals are considered fully vaccinated two weeks after their second shot, or after the single Johnson and Johnson shot. The Moderna and J&J vaccines are authorized for emergency use.

The memo says those who had COVID-19 infections are “not considered fully vaccinated” for the purposes of the mandate.

Each of the military services released its own deadlines for their personnel to get the vaccines. Army active-duty soldiers must be fully vaccinated by Dec. 15, and Army Reserve and National Guard by June 30, 2022.

Navy active-duty must be fully vaccinated by Nov. 28, and Navy Reserve by Dec. 28. The Marine Corp has similar dates at the end of November for active duty and the end of December for Reserves.

Active-duty members of the Air Force and Space Force must be fully vaccinated by Nov. 2, and Guard and Reserve personnel by Dec. 2.
