CDC: Mask Order Will Be ‘Further Enforced’ by ‘Federal Authorities’

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) latest order, requiring individuals to wear masks when using public transportation or residing in transportation hubs, will be “further enforced by other federal authorities,” the agency announced in its order, which went into effect this week.

Under the order, individuals are required to wear masks while using public transportation, which includes “awaiting, boarding, disembarking, or traveling on airplanes, ships, ferries, trains, subways, buses, taxis, and ride-shares as they are traveling into, within, or out of the United States and U.S. territories,” per the CDC.

“People must also wear masks while at transportation hubs (e.g., airports, bus or ferry terminals, train and subway stations, seaports) and other locations where people board public transportation in the United States and U.S. territories,” the agency said, encouraging the “operators of public conveyances” to enforce the requirement to the best of their abilities.

The CDC offered tips on how to better enforce the requirement, urging operators to only allow entry to those who are wearing masks and to remind people the rule is “a requirement of federal law and that not complying with the requirement is a violation of federal law.”

The order itself specifically states that it “shall be further enforced by other federal authorities and may be enforced by cooperating state and local authorities” through various provisions. However, the CDC noted it hopes not to rely “primarily” on criminal penalties. Instead, it anticipates widespread voluntary compliance:

While this Order may be enforced and CDC reserves the right to enforce through criminal penalties, CDC does not intend to rely primarily on these criminal penalties but instead strongly encourages and anticipates widespread voluntary compliance as well as support from other federal agencies in implementing additional civil measures enforcing the provisions of this Order, to the extent permitted by law and consistency with President Biden’s Executive Order of January 21, 2021.

The order exempts those under the age of two, as well as individuals with certain disabilities. Individuals are also not required to wear a mask while eating or drinking “for brief periods of time” or communicating “for brief periods of time” with someone who is hearing impaired.

The CDC also specifies that individuals do not have to wear a mask if unconscious “for reasons other than sleeping,” or if they are “incapacitated, unable to be awakened, or otherwise unable to remove the mask without assistance.”

The order also permits those who are “experiencing difficulty breathing or shortness of breath or are feeling winded” to remove the mask “temporarily until able to resume normal breathing with the mask.”

“Persons who are vomiting should remove the mask until vomiting ceases,” the order states.

The order will remain in effect “unless modified or rescinded based on specific public health or other considerations, or until the Secretary of Health and Human Services rescinds the determination under section 319 of the Public Health Service Act that a public health emergency exists,” the order added.

Last month, President Biden signed an order requiring individuals to wear masks on federal property. While agencies can make exceptions, they must be documented in writing. Notably, White House press secretary Jen Psaki routinely goes maskless while speaking to reporters during the daily White House press briefings.

Lindsey Graham threatens Democrats: If you call even one witness for impeachment trial, we’ll open up 'Pandora's box'

Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham (S.C.) warned Democratic colleagues Monday night that if they decide to call even one witness in the Senate's upcoming impeachment trial against former President Trump, they'll be opening up "Pandora's Box."

Last month, the Democrat-controlled House voted to impeach Trump a second time for "incitement of insurrection" after a mob of his supporters stormed the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6 while Congress was in session. The process has now moved to the Senate, where a trial is set to begin next week.

Graham, the outgoing chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, expressed that he looks forward to a speedy trial and acquittal of Trump. But he noted that should Democrats choose to turn it into a "political commercial" and prolong the business for "weeks and months" by calling witnesses, Republicans are prepared to play ball by calling the FBI to testify about security failures at the U.S. Capitol.

"If you open up that can of worms [by calling witnesses], we'll want the FBI to come in and tell us about how people actually pre-planned these attacks and what happened with the security footprint at the Capitol," Graham said.

With the trial's Feb. 9 start date looming, Reuters reported Monday that the House Democrats in charge of impeachment proceedings in the Senate are expected to announce whether or not they will call witnesses by as early as Tuesday.

Democrats are expected to face an uphill climb toward a conviction, especially after 45 of the GOP's 50 senators voted in a procedural motion to object to impeachment proceedings last week, leading Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) to call the prospect "dead on arrival." Democrats would need at least 17 GOP senators to declare Trump guilty in order to garner the two-thirds vote required to convict.

Nevertheless, Trump, for his part, is currently assembling a legal defense and preparing a formal response to the charges. A conviction in the Senate will mean rather little, politically, since Trump has already exited office. However, a vote to impeach could open the potential for a vote to bar him from seeking public office in the future.

Bill Gates Has a New $1bn Yacht That Shows He Is Morally Superior to You Because It’s Hydrogen-Powered

For an environmentally conscious billionaire, what better way to combine luxury with your green credentials?

Bill Gates has commissioned the world’s first hydrogen-powered superyacht – believed to cost $860 million, giving him bragging rights over other ultra-rich seafarers.

The Sunday Telegraph can reveal the retired 64-year-old is behind the construction of the cutting-edge cruiser by Dutch superyacht specialist Feadship.

The custom build is based on blueprints for the 372ft (113 metre) vessel Aqua publicised at the Monaco Yacht Show last year by Dutch marine architects Sinot. It said the plans took “inspiration from the lifestyle of a discerning, forward-looking owner”.

Gates, who co-founded Microsoft and is the world’s second-richest person, is a regular superyacht holidaymaker but has not owned one, preferring to rent for summer trips around the Mediterranean.

His new vessel, scheduled to go to sea in 2024, will not measure up to some of the largest cruisers such as the 535ft (163 metre) Eclipse commissioned by Roman Abramovich, the oligarch owner of Chelsea Football Club, but its hydrogen power is a signal of Gates’s belief that investment in new clean technology is the best way to cut carbon emissions.

The designs for Aqua include two 28-ton vacuum-sealed tanks to store liquid hydrogen at -252C. The fuel will generate power for the two 1 megawatt motors and for passengers via fuel cells, which combine hydrogen with oxygen from the air to emit only electricity and water. Sinot claims the system offers a top speed of 17 knots, cruising speed of 10 to 12 knots and range of 3,750 nautical miles, more than enough to cross the Atlantic.

The yacht is the latest sign of Gates’s longstanding interest in alternative fuels. He is an investor in Heliogen, a California start-up which uses smart software to control mirrors and focus the sun’s rays to generate extreme heat. It aims to create clean hydrogen gas by splitting water molecules without using fossil fuels.

Most hydrogen is currently produced by processes that produce carbon dioxide. It is possible, but much more expensive, to use electricity from renewable sources.

Gates, who has pledged to give most of his estimated $118 billion (pounds 92 billion) fortune to good causes via the Gates Foundation, has argued that investment in new energy systems is a better way to cut carbon emissions than forcing investors to pull out of oil companies when the economy must still rely on fossil fuels to some extent.

Last year he said: “We can build on the progress we’ve made deploying current technology like renewables, which will help accelerate the transition from fossil fuels to a future of reliable and affordable carbon-free electricity. We need big breakthroughs in technologies that will allow us to supply the power grid with clean energy even during windless days, cloudy weather and nighttime.”

Despite Gates’s enthusiasm for hydrogen power, shipbuilding sources said that the plans for his superyacht include diesel back-up, due to the scarcity of hydrogen refuelling stations. It is understood the project includes plans to establish facilities at the superyacht’s home port.

The billionaire’s plans for the vessel’s accommodation are unclear, but in the marketing materials for Aqua the designers suggest an armoured glass window to view the liquid hydrogen tanks and a gym with “massive, gym-wide hatch which opens to reveal the ocean’s surface at water level, creating the perception of exercising and relaxing on an island in the sea”.

The concept includes a “spectacular, extremely spacious” owner’s pavilion, occupying the forward half of the upper deck and offering “an abundance of privacy”. Ryan Girdusky: Lincoln Project Is Part Grift, Part Grooming Operation for John Weaver

“The Lincoln Project has always been just two things: a grift for people to make money and a grooming organization for John Weaver to meet young men to try to get them in bed,” said Ryan Girdusky, journalist and author of They’re Not Listening: How The Elites Created the National Populist Revolution, on Tuesday’s edition of SiriusXM’s Breitbart News Daily with host Alex Marlow.

Girdusky broke the news that John Weaver, a co-founder of the Lincoln Project, allegedly sought sexual contact with young men in exchange for jobs in politics.

Girdusky began investigating accusations of Weaver’s sexual solicitations from young men after being followed by Weaver on Twitter.

“Within a day [of Weaver following me on Twitter], young men started coming forward and saying to me that I should be on the lookout,” Girdusky stated. “They said, ‘This is what John Weaver does. He reached out to young men like me and he says I can give you a job opportunity if you promise me sex in the end.’ It’s three young guys who reached out to me very early on.”

Girdusky added, “I was trying to find out how many people possibly know about John Weaver, and it became very abundantly clear very early on that everyone knew. If you worked politics, there was no way you did not know about John Weaver and his actions towards young men, preying on young men.”

Republican strategist and political pundit Karl Rove said on Monday that he knew of Weaver’s “pattern of behavior” since 1988.

George Conway, a co-founder of the Lincoln Project, claimed he did not know Weaver “very well” in a segment with MSNBC’s Mika Brzezinski.

“It was shocking how many people knew,” Girdusky remarked. “Another very well-known household Never Trumper columnist writer [who has] been around a long time was asked to join the Lincoln Project and said, ‘No, I won’t work with John Weaver because of he’s a disgusting person. So [the idea that] the only people who did not know about John Weaver were the people in the Lincoln Project project is insane. … There was no way they did not know.”

Girdusky emphasized, “There was no way on God’s green Earth that you could have worked in professional Washington, DC, national-level politics and have not heard these rumors.”

Girdusky highlighted left-wing news media’s disinterest in the accusations against Weaver. He said, “mainstream media” has “totally ignored the topic” aside from Brzezinski inviting Conway’s remarks without asking him a question.

Girdusky said Lincoln Project members have appeared in 21 television interviews since his original report on January 11. He said, “Mainstream media never asked [Lincoln Project members], ‘Hey, what’s the story about that you co-founder using your organization to sit there and groom young men?'”

Marlow stated, “Ultimately, the real villain here is — Weaver, to a degree — but it is really the media.”

Weaver’s accusers now total over 100 young men, Girdusky observed, adding reported totals from the New York Times, Scott Stedman, and his own reporting.

“I can tell you it’s over 100 men in a five-year period,” Girdusky said. “If you add all three articles together with their different sources, it’s over 100.”

Some of the young men accusing Weaver of sexual solicitations are leftists who were reluctant to share their allegations for fear of damaging the “Never Trump” campaign, Girdusky shared.

“So many of these young men who came forward to me early on were leftists,” Girdusky explained. “Many of them were afraid to come forward because they were afraid of retribution from John Weaver, but I will say there were a few of them who said, ‘I don’t want to hurt the anti-Trump movement,’ and that’s among the victims.”

The New York Times reported, “[Weaver’s] solicitations included sending messages to a 14-year-old, asking questions about his body while he was still in high school and then more pointed ones after he turned 18.”

“The youngest boy — and it was a boy that John Weaver was reaching out to — was 14 years old when John Weaver was 57 years old,” Girdusky said. “How on Earth is that consensual?”

Girdsuky assessed the Lincoln Project’s lack of denials against his reporting as rooted in fear of litigation.

Girdusky concluded, “I think the reason that not a single member of the Lincoln Project ever try to deny anything I said publicly — nothing, they’ve never denied one thing, even when it first came out — [is that] they would never want to go to discovery, to go look through their emails, and text messages, and DMs, and everything and see what they knew when they knew it because they knew.”

The Lincoln Project raised over $87 million since its launch at the end of 2019.

There are many sites to be found and they often form a logical springboard/progression to a better informed or more amusing site to frequent for a better balanced view on a wide range of topics.

Q started posting on 4Chan where I happened to be enjoying the wonderful freedom of finding a place on the internet without censorship and where everyone is anonymous. It is a fun place: outrageous, informative, silly, bizarre, sad, vitriolic, mad, humane, disgusting, rude, lots of bewbs,inspiring and hopefully you get the point, that compared to any mainstream platform, a whirlpool of interest compared to the boring pre-programmed talking heads that now fear their authority will be stripped because they have so little to offer to their public and have therefore now decided to fully launch an attack on their non existent nemesis “Qanon” focusing solely on one subject, the sexual abuse of underage children to demonise the alternative news platform of Q and the Anons who in fact have been uncovering an enormous range of subjects for the last 3 years that need to be exposed to the general public.

Q who ever they are, started dropping questions on 4chan in 2017, later changing to other boards and the questions are always intriguing. They are a challenge to many of us watching, in my case I happily started researching and would add my tiny bits of unearthed data from old news sources to the rapidly growing collection of sourced input from other anons on a wide range of subjects.

Data is collected by Anons by legal means : archived MSM articles, legally obtained or public governmental documentation, recognised scientific research, old videos, documentaries, etc. etc.

Everything deemed to be of importance is newly archived and always has a valid source. Many anons work together on working out connections between the collected information to get to a bigger picture with the help of the sometimes cryptic drops by Q.

In honest times the anons work would be undertaken by any self respecting journalist in MSM.

In these dishonest times the anons have unearthed so much that should be further investigated as crimes against the people, the anons have now become a clear and present danger to many powerful people and institutions that have for many years, been protected from scrutiny.

That in a nutshell is the reason for current daily hysteria by the MSM with regards to their “Qanon” nonsense.

3 Idaho Guardsmen Die in Second Fatal National Guard Black Hawk Crash This Year

The Idaho Army National Guard announced that three of its soldiers were killed when their helicopter crashed during a routine training flight Tuesday night.

All three were pilots flying in a UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter that went down south of Lucky Peak near Boise, Idaho, shortly after 8 p.m., according to an Idaho Guard news release posted on Facebook.

The crash comes nearly two weeks after three New York National Guard pilots were killed when their Black Hawk crashed on another training mission.

"This is a tremendous loss to the Idaho National Guard and our community," Maj. Gen. Michael Garshak, adjutant general of Idaho and commander of the Idaho National Guard, said in the release. "Our thoughts and prayers are with the families and loved ones as we work through this tragedy."

The Idaho Guard's last contact with the Black Hawk occurred at 7:45 p.m., Col. Christopher Burt, the Idaho Guard's state aviation officer, said in the release.

The aircraft's Emergency Transmitter Locator device was activated shortly after 8 p.m., and Burt's team "immediately initiated emergency aircraft recovery procedures, which included air and ground search and rescue crews," according to the release.

At approximately 12:15 a.m. Wednesday, crews located the crash site and the three soldiers. The cause of the accident is unknown, and an investigation will begin promptly, according to the release.

Names of the soldiers killed in the crash are being withheld until next of kin have been notified, the release adds.

The three New York Guard soldiers were killed when their Black Hawk crashed Jan. 20.

Chief Warrant Officer 5 Steven Skoda, Chief Warrant Officer 4 Christian Koch and Chief Warrant Officer 2 Daniel Prial were all pilots aboard the medical evacuation helicopter. They died when their aircraft went down while conducting night-vision proficiency training in the local training area.

Israel Continues False Predictions of Iranian Nuclear Breakout

Israeli officials have predicted breakout since the 1990s

After generations of research lead time and decades of ruling out ever seeking nuclear arms, officials continue to try to predict Iran’s nuclear breakout moment. Monday it was Secretary of State Tony Blinken, now Israel’s Energy Minister Yuval Steinitz is stepping in.

Steinitz says Iran could get the uranium enriched “in around half a year” and that the weapons themselves are “around one or two years.” That’s slightly more realistic in that he recognized a difference between the two, unlike Blinken who just slapped a two weeks prediction on the whole process.

Blinken’s claim was built around Iran’s stockpile, while Steinitz seems to be continuing Israeli predictions since the early 1990s of hysteria about Iran. Coming and going predictions of an Iranian breakout, which never happens, makes all these predictions seem especially foolish, since Iran has ruled out ever attempting to obtain nuclear arms.

Iran’s enrichment is up to 20% for uranium, while weapons-grade would imply 90% or higher. Iran has never attempted to go beyond the 20%, so most of the allegations are built around assumptions that Iran can perfectly, and nigh-instantly, further enrich all their stockpile to weapons-grade.

Even recognizing Steinitz’s estimate at face value, Iran getting the stockpile and making a weapon is not really the end of things. Iran would need to test detonate a bomb to prove they work, which not only would start an immediate regional war, but would use up that entire stockpile and put them back to starting from scratch.

Germany Warns Against Afghanistan Withdrawal Deadline

German foreign minister says peace talks will not be done by deadline

On Tuesday, Germany warned against a withdrawal of US and other foreign forces from Afghanistan by the May deadline agreed to under the US-Taliban peace deal that was signed in February 2020.

German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas said the withdrawal should be based on the progress of the intra-Afghan peace talks, not the deadline. Maas said the “these peace talks won’t be over” by the deadline and that the coalition doesn’t have to “hang on slavishly to the date of the end of April.”

Maas’ comments come as the prospects for an Afghanistan withdrawal seem more and more unlikely. NATO officials have already said foreign forces will remain in Afghanistan beyond the deadline. The Biden administration is accusing the Taliban of not upholding its end of the deal and the Pentagon said the pullout date is uncertain.

Germany, the US, and NATO all cite the fact that violence between the Taliban and the US-backed government hasn’t ceased as a reason to stay. But staying in Afghanistan will only prolong the violence.

With reports saying foreign troops will stay beyond the Spring deadline, the Taliban is vowing that the fighting will continue. Taliban attacks on US troops have subsided since the deal was signed. If the US stays, those attacks could start up again.
