Holy shit I designed the best suit of riot gear ever worn by another man, protesters or police.

I designed the best head protection. Body protection. Special metal sleeves that can be used offensively or to block enemy melee weapons. I considered all the important details, weight versus protection value, cost and availability, modification techniques, bullet proofing where possible, face shield with cooling system to prevent sweating and fogging, foot gear (metatarsal, steel toe but light and waterproof….

And so on, and so on… (Trust me I barely described half of it). I even designed weaponry and shielding (all non ridiculously heavy, if course)

And then I decide to go to DC and participate in the massive riots.

I spent about 5 minutes planning, 10 minutes packing, and my suit of riot gear that I designed? Wish it wasn't all just on paper. Had to go to Walmart and spend about 200 bucks on sports gear.

Not what I envisioned. Still…. You work with what ya got. And truthfully, it's really pretty decent gear for a suburban anon
