Citadel-along with others like Blackrock, Fidelity, Vanguard-had/has (again now because Blackrock effectively runs it now due to that agreement in 2020 to 'manage' the NYFRB's ETF purchases) an open conduit to the FRB and in Citadel's case were (and still are) responsible for a large chunk of retail order processing-so most of what you see represented in the markets (which are only about 10% or what actually occurs on on given day) is ran through them.

In a custodial relationship a bank or institution is brought in to 'hold customers' securities for safekeeping to prevent them from being stolen or lost". The custodian may hold stocks or other assets in electronic or physical form on behalf of their customers.

The Trustee for SLV is Bank of NY Mellon-who is also involved above as a custodian-so they (JP Morgan are responsible for overseeing the in/outflows of the Silver that they say is backing SLV)...it's actually one of biggest frauds that Wall St has-this particular one.

Atlanta Fed Slashes Q2 GDP To -2.1%

This week has seen investors shift from inflation anxiety to recession fears as stocks have been hammered and bonds bid (along with rate-hike expectations tumbling).

The continued erosion in economic data has prompted The Atlanta Fed to slash its forecast for Q2 GDP growth to -2.1% meaning the US is now technically in recession (after Q1's confirmed 1.6% contraction yesterday).

The GDPNow model estimate for real GDP has collapsed in recent days, growth in the second quarter of 2022 has been cut to a contractionary -2.1%, down from -1.0% on June 30, down from 0.0% on June 15, down from +0.9% on June 6, down from 1.3% on June 1, and down from 1.9% on May 27. As the AtlantaFed notes, "The GDPNow model estimate for real GDP growth (seasonally adjusted annual rate) in the second quarter of 2022 is -2.1 percent on July 1, down from -1.0 percent on June 30. After this morning's Manufacturing ISM Report On Business from the Institute for Supply Management and the construction report from the US Census Bureau, the nowcasts of second-quarter real personal consumption expenditures growth and real gross private domestic investment growth decreased from 1.7 percent and -13.2 percent, respectively, to 0.8 percent and -15.2 percent, respectively."

In short: the US consumer is getting tapped out, just as we have been warning repeatedly.

Which also fits with Jamie Dimon's recent "downgrade" of the economy from "storm clouds" to "hurricane"... and also makes some sense given the recent collapse in macro data relative to expectations...GFY Jamie

The Atlanta Fed's recession forecast coincides with JPMorgan's economists cutting their US mid-year economic growth forecasts after an influx of weaker data this week - most notably a slowdown in consumer spending. Manufacturing hits lowest level since June 2020

Economic activity in the U.S. manufacturing sector slowed more than expected in June to the lowest level in two years, as both demand and employment contracted according to the latest data.

The Institute for Supply Management's manufacturing purchasing manager's index fell more than 3 points last month from May to 53%, the lowest reading since June 2020. Analysts polled by Refinitiv had expected June's PMI to come in higher at 54.9%. Any reading about 50 indicates growth in the sector, and June 2022 marked the 25th consecutive month of growth after manufacturing contracted in April and May 2020 during the throes of the coronavirus pandemic. Demand in the industry dropped last month, with ISM's new orders index falling 5.9 points to 49.2%. "The U.S. manufacturing sector continues to be powered — though less so in June — by demand while held back by supply chain constraints," said Timothy Fiore, who overseas the survey.

JPMorgan Sees ‘Stratospheric’ $380 Oil on Worst-Case Russian Cut

Global oil prices could reach a “stratospheric” $380 a barrel if US and European penalties prompt Russia to inflict retaliatory crude-output cuts, JPMorgan Chase & Co. analysts warned.

The Group of Seven nations are hammering out a complicated mechanism to cap the price fetched by Russian oil in a bid to tighten the screws on Vladimir Putin’s war machine in Ukraine. But given Moscow’s robust fiscal position, the nation can afford to slash daily crude production by 5 million barrels without excessively damaging the economy, JPMorgan analysts including Natasha Kaneva wrote in a note to clients.

For much of the rest of the world, however, the results could be disastrous. A 3 million-barrel cut to daily supplies would push benchmark London crude prices to $190, while the worst-case scenario of 5 million could mean “stratospheric” $380 crude, the analysts wrote.

“The most obvious and likely risk with a price cap is that Russia might chose not to participate and instead retaliate by reducing exports,” the analysts wrote. “It is likely that the government could retaliate by cutting output as a way to inflict pain on the West. The tightness of the global oil market is on Russia’s side.”

Berkshire Hathaway buys 9.9 mln more Occidental shares, has 17.4% stake

Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway Inc (BRKa.N) said it has bought another 9.9 million shares of Occidental Petroleum Corp (OXY.N), giving it a 17.4% stake in the oil company.

Berkshire paid about $582 million for the shares, which it bought between Wednesday and Friday, according to a Friday night filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Buffett's company is Occidental's largest shareholder, now owning 163.4 million shares worth about $9.9 billion. Its stake is about 60% larger than that of Vanguard, the next largest shareholder, according to Refinitiv data. Berkshire also owns warrants to buy another 83.9 million Occidental shares for $5 billion. Hear me out on this...a theory that may have some basis in reality regarding Buffet's ownership of Bank of America Stock and he bought moar in July last year

You know I've been going over this in muh head that since Uncle Warren bought all that BofA Stock (and you really would have to question why since it was the depository for Country-Wide Mortgages and Merrill Lynch in Jan 2008 for Country-"fried" and Sept. 2008-three days after the biggest electronic bank run in the money-market system ever) and both of these places were over-leveraged piles of shit so he has to know they are sitting there eating away at it's EPS on almost a daily basis (plus they've bought back $2.65B on it's own shares in the first Q of 2022 alone with $7.53B last year(he knows/knew that too) and he din't buy it just for the dividend imo-way other places to put money with a much smaller risk profile https://ycharts.com/companies/BAC/stock_buyback

That obviously helps however consider the following...and they will likely announce an additional one soon becasue it "passed" the stress test.

Someone is on the end of those short term leases of JP Morgans Silver Lease with Bank of America..I wonder if the change of the Derivative Classification has something to do with that as even though they do things well in advance becasue this is how the control system works (thinking is 50-100 time frames) they would have known in 2020 that JP Morgan was gonna get busted for rigging the Metals markets so in order for them to be "relieved" of the metals they basically stole from everyone by running the price of it up to and back down from $50 that culminated on the very day the UBL was "killed when they slammed Ag down $6 the very second that the news of that was announced.

I just wonder if the end game of removing all that Silver from The Morgue (about 1.2 B ozs) somehow involves using those leases (becasue all of them are/were short term at less than 1 year) and if they left the classification of Precious Metals Derivatives alone we would have seen Bank of America's decrease or rolls over to new ones in those..instead we have a mix up of Gold and Silver derivatives that make it impossible to see who is doing what -specifically if BoA were just rolling over again or actually having them transferred out somewhere to actually collect on all that physical Silver. This could be done via the LBMA but since that place is a veritable bastion of corruption and there is no way to actually see what is going on it may be that this could be happeneing. In NO way do I think that Uncle Warren (how he is portrayed) is a good guy but they made that change in the reporitng structure for a reason and that has completely hidden what is done with that arrangement with JP Morgan and B of A.

I've already said that I don't think JP Morgan would ever do this willingly and it wasn't the SEC or the CFTC that fined them for the the Metals manipulation it was the DOJ. So that is another clue-becasue it should have been the SEC ifrst and the CFTC second becasue all the rigging took place via the COMEX and Gary Gensler could see manipulation if it was placed in front of him with a roadmap to his ass

Mebby Uncle Warren is taking physical delivery of all of that and that was part of the side deal made when JP Morgan was busted for the Metals rigging cause I always thought that was too light for the actual crime they have committed-they made billions if not trillions and they paid $920B in "fines"

There is no way to prove any of this-especially now now but mebby Warren is playing a role here (a grey hat if you will) and taking that phyzz from them in a deal arranged by "our guys" or to put it better for the people's benefit.

He seems to be loaded up on quite a bit of other investments that could be easily handed over at some point and if given to the right people ala the good guys (for lack of a better term) many problems could be solved.
