Barclays subpoenaed by U.S. Virgin Islands over connections to late sex criminal Jeffrey Epstein

The U.S. Virgin Islands served a subpoena to Barclays in the U.S. for a wealth of documents related to deceased sex criminal Jeffrey Epstein, and it is set to issue a similar one in the United Kingdom, CNBC confirmed on Friday. News of the subpoenas came four days after Barclays announced its CEO, Jes Staley, would quit following an investigation into his relationship with Epstein.

A Barclays spokesperson confirmed the British bank was served a subpoena in the U.S. and expects to receive one in the U.K., but did not say whether they were related to Epstein. Barclays was served in New York in February on behalf of the attorney general of the U.S. territory, which previously sued Epstein’s estate over allegations the late investor sexually abused women and young girls on his private islands there. “Barclays has already provided its response to this subpoena and complied with its obligations,” a spokesperson for the bank told CNBC. The Virgin Islands “is now in the process of serving a similar subpoena on Barclays in the UK and Barclays will respond to that subpoena once it is served,” the spokesperson said. Prince Charles to visit Barbados to mark republic's birth

Prince Charles, heir to the throne, will travel to Barbados to mark the Caribbean island's transition to a republic which entails the removal of Queen Elizabeth II as head of state.

A former colony that gained independence in 1966, Barbados wants to remove the Queen, Charles's mother, as its head of state and become a republic. "HRH The Prince of Wales will visit Barbados to mark Barbados’s transition to a Republic within the Commonwealth," Clarence House said in a statement.

Sandra Mason will be sworn in as president on Nov. 30, the country's 55th anniversary of independence from Britain. First seized by England in 1625, Barbados stayed in British hands unlike other Caribbean islands that were fought over by the Spanish, British, Dutch, French and Americans. British colonialists used the land for sugar cane production and the island became a focus of the brutal transatlantic slave trade, as plantation owners shipped over captured Africans as slaves to work in the fields. According to the Barbados Museum and Historical Society, by the 1670s enslaved Africans outnumbered whites by a ratio of almost 10 to one. Saudi Aramco Raises Oil Prices Sharply After OPEC+ Defies Biden

Saudi Arabia sent another bullish jolt into the oil market a day after OPEC+ ignored Biden’s calls for more oil, raising the official selling price of all the nation’s crudes to all buyers.

Aramco increased pricing for its key Arab Light grade of crude for Asian customers in December by $1.40 to $2.70. The state producer had been expected to raise it by between 50 cents and $1 a barrel, according to a survey last week. The cartel ignored calls from U.S. President Joe Biden to speed up the pace at which it’s raising output following last year’s Covid-triggered cuts. Instead, OPEC+ stuck with its plan to hike daily crude output by 400,000 barrels next month.

Analysts expect the oil market to remain under-supplied over the rest of the year following the decision by OPEC+, led by Saudi Arabia and Russia. The continued supply curbs from the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries and partners have helped oil prices surge 60% this year to more than $80 a barrel. This month, BP Plc said global oil demand had surpassed 100 million barrels a day for the first time since the pandemic started. Saudi Arabia sends more than 60% of its crude exports to Asia, with China, South Korea, Japan and India the biggest buyers. Most Middle Eastern countries set monthly prices as a premium or discount to a benchmark. Aramco’s OSPs serve as a bellwether for oil markets and often lead the pricing trend in the region.

US Credit Card Debt Soars Back Over $1 Trillion As Pandemic "Excess Savings" Run Out

When looking at the latest debit and credit card spending data out of Bank of America two weeks ago, one thing stood out: usage of credit cards among the lower income cohort has spiked with a 23% growth rate over a 2-year period, up from the summer average of 15%. This surge in credit card usage came at the expense of debit card spending growth which has slowed notably over the last several weeks. In turn, this was the result of various emergency stimulus programs expiring at the start of September, which meant far less cash in various deposit/checking accounts, and also meant the go to funding source would be America's favorite: credit cards.

Moments ago, the latest Consumer credit data confirmed this, when the Federal Reserve reported that in September total consumer credit soared by $29.9BN, almost double $16BN expected, and well more than 100% higher compared to August. And sure enough, after shrinking for 2 consecutive months, credit card debt soared by just shy of $10 billion - the second highest this year- and pushed the total revolving credit outstanding back over $1 trillion for the first time since April 2020. As for non-revolving credit, it always rises and September was no difference as debt used to pay primarily for cars and college, jumped by $20.1 billion to a new record high of $3.357 trillion. And yes, drilling into the latest student and car loan number shows that, sure enough, we just hit another all time high.

In short, after a period of relative quiet when revolving credit shrank and then barely grew in the aftermath of the covid pandemic, it now appears that things are largely back to normal with credit cards serving as the primary source of discretionary funding for most Americans. We bring this up just in case you hear from some macrotourist that America's middle (and lower) class still has trillions in "excess savings" left, which they clearly don't as we explained two weeks ago...

BO from /pologrounds/ here. Was reading last bread and noticed some questions and concerns about things, and wanted to address them as best I can.

1. I'm a boatfag and meme-maker from QR, and I've pitched in on a few digs here and there, too. I was around for Captcha Hill and Notables Creek, like I told BO here - I'm actually the anon who posted the prayer in bread #1 when we split from /qr/ over that shit with FJ and 8-Bit opened up the Bunker here, and I set up the Boatfagging 101 here (it originally had the GiantKiller logo on it, if you'll recall). Unfortunately I don't have a cap of the "You" in the notes for the prayer back then...I really didn't cap a lot of stuff back then for authentication purposes and now wish I did. I suppose it would be helpful for times like this.

2. As for boatfaggin' in /qr/ (and per /qr/ BO's request I will post in here, too, when I have BF posts to make), I tracked the Iran tankers and yacht posts for a while. Irl stuff pulled me away from that, which sucks because I love it - if I could make a modest living doing nothing but that I'd be as happy as a clam. Pic #2 is a graphic I used for the tankers back then. If you look at original date on that pic, then compare it to when the post was made that date with this graphic in it, you'll see that this is the original I used for that post. Best I can do to authenticate.

3. Moar authentication - another couple caps with some posts and "You's" out of the Notes on /qr/

4. I'm not Ron in stealth mode. I don't know Ron personally, either. Or Jim. I'm not at their level, or anywhere close. If something screws up on TPG, you guys will realize that in a hurry b/c I am really not that much of a whiz at digital shit.

5. GZ hit me up because he was able to figure out I'm an anon from my TG posts on his channel (I didn't particularly hide the fact). He liked my points and approached me about setting up a board.

6. The purpose of the board is exactly like I told the BO here and everywhere else - MarcoPolo is hoping to get some help from the autists who've done so much genius research. MP has a copy of the HB laptop and we're wading through the stuff on it; we are prepping a report, but it takes time. The research we're hoping to tap into is that the laptop data doesn't tell us everything. The Polo Grounds (TPG) was set up for 3 reasons ~

- a lot of anons want to stay anon, so if MP wants help from anons we have to come here

- set up a simple board where we can provide data gleaned from the laptop; it's like a research trail from college, it shows you what we've got so diggers can take it from there

- gives diggers a place to post sauced digs where we can find it and add it into the stuff we have.

You guise know we're working on gathering proof of crimes of the Biden Crime Syndicate, their minions and other pals helping them worldwide. That's another reason to be here...we're US-based and don't have readily available or inexpensive access to some info that would really help out. MP is a small group with limited resources. The boards have global reach, however. That's why we're hopeful this works out. Besides, Telegram is just fine as a SM platform but a) we suspect that it's ownership is not exactly friendly or may not stay that way; b) it's not the best place to do research; and c) it isn't anonymous.

As I told your BO and anyone else who will hear us out, we're not trying to be /qr/ lite, create any new schisms among patriots, pull anyone away from other boards, larp, shill, distract or anything else to hinder patriots. We're asking for help...but we also don't want people to think we're an alternate drop site for Q info. That isn't TPG's purpose. We hope folks will focus on digging when they can on the info we are asking about. The report we're putting together is intended to be a roadmap of evidence to compel prosecutions or public demand for prosecutions on the Bidens and their cohorts. Every little bit that gets us closer to getting these scumbags prosecuted is a step closer to freedom.

I'm an anon who has followed the Q drops for a long time (early 2018). I'm a newfag when it comes to being a BO, and not the most technically skilled of individuals. But I was asked by MP, and I am doing the best I can to support thier efforts. Short version - we're not going to be "pro-Q" or "anti-Q", because we're just trying to stay focused on dealing with the data we have in our hands at MarcoPolo. And as I explained above, I'm not an original member of MP - I was invited in not too long ago.

“It’s Hard to Watch:” Hospital ERs Across The Nation Are Completely Overwhelmed With Non-Covid Patients “Sicker Than They Have Ever Seen” – Nurses Forced to Give Treatments in Hallways Because No Beds are Available

Emergency Rooms across the nation are experiencing a bed shortage ‘crisis’ because of the massive influx of patients that are showing up “much sicker than” the medical professionals “has ever seen.”

The increase is baffling. After all, the experimental vaccines have been available in the US for almost a full year, and the number of new daily positive cases has been declining for months. Right now, the number of cases each day is less than half what it was just a couple of months ago.

With fewer people catching the virus, you should reasonably expect hospitals to see a decline in ER visits, but, somehow, the opposite is happening. Throughout the country, even in places that are not considered ‘Covid hotspots,’ emergency rooms are absolutely overrun with seriously ill patients, forcing hospital staff – in many cases – to provide care in the hallway because every bed is already occupied.

The sharp uptick has mainly been driven by much more severe illnesses and conditions than Covid. In fact, the bulk of the ER visits have been to treat things like abdominal pain, respiratory problems, blood clots, and HEART CONDITIONS – suicide attempts are also way up.

Is this the ‘vaccine effect’ in action?

From Kaiser Health News (KHN):

“Months of treatment delays have exacerbated chronic conditions and worsened symptoms. Doctors and nurses say the severity of illness ranges widely and includes abdominal pain, respiratory problems, blood clots, heart conditions, and suicide attempts, among other conditions.”

KHN was able to interview some of the staff at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing, MI, which has been one of the hardest-hit ERs in the country. Tiffany Dusang, the facility’s ER director, said that the entire ordeal is “hard to watch,” and that she feels terrible when she walks the halls and sees dozens of patients sitting in chairs who are in pain. She knows that they will not be getting a bed anytime soon because the hospital’s 72 ER rooms are already full, and more people keep flooding in seeking care.

“I always feel very, very bad when I walk down the hallway and see that people are in pain, or needing to sleep, or needing quiet. But they have to be in the hallway with, as you can see, 10 or 15 people walking by every minute.”

Sparrow has even turned a separate wing of the hospital into a specialty ER overflow unit, but that only provided slight relief for a moment. The majority of severely ill patients are forced to sit in chairs that line the hallways to receive their care with no privacy whatsoever.

One man, Alejos Perrientoz, had come to the ER with numbness and pain in his arm that had persisted for over a week. He was shocked to learn when he arrived that he would not be getting a room and instead was given a full physical exam in front of everyone in the hallway.

“I felt a little uncomfortable. But I have no choice, you know?

I’m in the hallway. There are no rooms. We could have just done the physical in the parking lot.”

“I cannot tell you how many of them tell me they went home crying [after their shift].”
