🚨 WHY IS SPLC SENDING MILLIONS TO THE CAYMAN ISLANDS?
The Southern Poverty Law Center now holds a massive endowment of roughly $732–738 million (as of late 2024), with total net assets exceeding $780 million. A large portion of this money is invested in high-risk hedge funds, private equity, and other alternative assets. Much of it flows through offshore tax havens like the Cayman Islands, Bermuda, and the British Virgin Islands.
In 2014 alone, the SPLC sent over $5.62 million to Cayman Islands offshore entities.
That same year, its reported direct “case cost” legal expenses were only $1.86 million — just a tiny fraction of its total contributions and grants.
For a nonprofit that raises hundreds of millions from donors by sounding alarms about “hate” and extremism, why is so much money being sent to offshore tax havens instead of going directly to programs?

SPLC begins advertising CEO job opening with $500,000 salary after DOJ indictment
The Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) is advertising a president and CEO job opening one day after the left-wing nonprofit was indicted by a Montgomery grand jury.
The SPLC began advertising the president and CEO position on Wednesday with a “salary range of $450,000 to $525,000 with a comprehensive benefits package.”
“This leader will embody SPLC’s unwavering commitment to racial and social justice, guiding the organization with clarity, integrity, and depth of experience. In doing so, the CEO will cultivate the conditions that allow SPLC’s programs, partnerships, and people to thrive—positioning the organization for sustained impact in the years ahead,” the job description states.
Margaret Huang resigned in July 2025 as president and CEO of the SPLC to “prioritize family life.” Former SPLC Board chair Bryan Fair is currently serving as interim president and CEO. The SPLC’s staff union called on Huang to resign in 2024 after the SPLC laid off 60 employees.
A Montgomery grand jury returned an indictment charging the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) with 11 counts of wire fraud, false statements to a federally insured bank, and money laundering on Tuesday.
The United States Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Alabama Northern Division filed two forfeiture actions to recover alleged proceeds of the organization’s fraud scheme.
According to the indictment, starting in the 1980s, the SPLC began operating a covert network of individuals who were either associated with violent and extremist groups, such as the Ku Klux Klan, or who had infiltrated violent extremist groups at the SPLC’s direction. Unbeknownst to donors, some of their donated money was being used to fund the leaders and organizers of racist groups at the same time that the SPLC was denouncing the same groups on its website, according to the DOJ.

Accused WH correspondents’ dinner attacker is tutor and computer programmer from California
WASHINGTON (AP) — Social media posts that appear to match the California man arrested Saturday in the shooting at the White House correspondents’ dinner show he is a highly educated tutor and amateur video game developer.
A May 2025 profile photo of Cole Tomas Allen of Torrance, California, appears to match the appearance of the man in a photo of the alleged attacker being taken into custody that was posted Saturday night by President Donald Trump. The photo, posted to the social networking site LinkedIn, shows him in a cap and gown after graduating with a master’s degree in computer science from California State University-Dominguez Hills.
Allen, 31, earned a bachelor’s degree in 2017 in mechanical engineering from the California Institute of Technology in Pasadena. He listed his involvement there in a Christian student fellowship and a campus group that battled with Nerf guns.
A local ABC station in Los Angeles included an interview with Allen during his senior year of college as part of a story about new technologies to help people as they age. He had developed a prototype for a new type of emergency brake for wheelchairs.
Allen contributed $25 to a Democratic Party political action committee in support of Kamala Harris for president in 2024, according to federal campaign finance records.
Allen’s online resume says he worked for the last six years at C2 Education, a company that offers admissions counseling and test preparation services to aspiring college students. A 2024 post on the company’s Facebook page listed Allen as the company’s teacher of the month. The company did not immediately respond to an email seeking comment Saturday night.
Allen also posted that he had developed a video game for the Steam platform based on molecular chemistry. A post under Allen’s name said he was working to develop a new “top-down shooter” combat game set in outer space.

Seems like his the resume lists a SURF Fellowship at NASA JPL. Searching it up it shows SURF program was initiated by Lew Allen Jr., who was the Director of the NSA (National Security Agency) before becoming the Director of JPL. - recruitment pipeline designed by the former head of the NSA to identify high-IQ technical talent and feed them into the defense/intelligence infrastructure.
He went from Caltech/JPL (the pinnacle of elite engineering) to C2 Education (a retail tutoring center).
Active assets often take 'low status' jobs that provide high access to specific targets (young, impressionable students) without drawing suspicion. No one suspects a SAT tutor of being a cleared defense engineer. This status drop allows him to move freely through the population, identifying and profiling talented youth for future recruitment without the scrutiny that comes with a corporate or government title

Maybe worked for NSA he possesses credentials to be a high-level engineer, but he is sitting in a retail education center.????? ?????
In the professional world, your title evolves upward. You go from a junior engineer to a senior engineer. You don't go from designing JPL satellites to teaching SAT math at a franchise. That is a massive status and pay drop. It indicates that he no longer has access to the high-level projects he was trained for.
The "game dev" skill is the most suspicious part. He's a Mechanical Engineer who wants people to think he’s a Game Developer. It means he’s trying to distance himself from his actual expertise. When a guy who knows how to build space probes starts calling himself a "game dev," he is hiding his real skill set to avoid being tracked or re-recruited.
I mean has a legit job, he interacts with the public, but nobody asks why a Caltech/JPL engineer is there. This indicates he is "laying low."
He is overqualified for his job, he's hiding his primary skills under a "game dev" tag, and he’s working in a high-volume student environment.

U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia Jeanine Pirro said the suspect was being charged and would be arraigned on Monday.
A Secret Service agent was shot but survived an attack at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner on April 25, President Donald Trump said during a press briefing after the incident.
“One officer was shot, but saved by the fact that he was wearing an obviously, a very good bulletproof vest,” Trump said from the White House briefing room. “He was shot from very close distance with a very powerful gun.”
The president added that he had spoken with the agent and that he was “doing great.”
The president and First Lady Melania Trump were evacuated from the White House Correspondents’ Association dinner at the Washington Hilton on Saturday evening after an assailant breached a security checkpoint near the ballroom.
Several Epoch Times staff on the scene heard shots at about 8:40 p.m. and witnessed the reaction. Immediately after around five shots rang out, Secret Service agents rushed the stage.
The event was canceled. Trump, the first lady, and his Cabinet members returned to the White House to hold a press briefing after the incident.
Trump said the suspect was “running full blast” through security, according to video footage he released on social media. “And they got him before he got any further, I was very far away.”
Trump commended the officers for their swift response.
“The reaction time was great. Boy, those guys, they had their guns drawn, literally, by the time he was there, they were shooting. I thought they were very impressive.”
Washington Mayor Muriel Bowser said at a separate briefing that both the agent and the suspect were transported to the hospital.
Trump said the suspect is from California and authorities were going to investigate his apartment. He described the man as “very sick.”
“My impression was that he was a lone wolf,” Trump said.
At the briefing, Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche praised law enforcement and said the investigation is “ongoing and just started.”
“The charges should be self evident, given the conduct, but as you'll hear, there will be multiple charges surrounding the shooting, around the possession of firearms and anything else that we can get on this guy,” he said.
FBI Director Kash Patel urged people to call the agency with tips if they had information. He said that the process of examining the suspect’s background had already begun.
“We will analyze all evidence immediately to make sure that we safeguard this country,” Patel said at the briefing.

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — A small plane crashed just after taking off from Crystal Airport north of Minneapolis on Saturday, killing a North Dakota state legislator and the pilot, authorities said.
North Dakota state Rep. Liz Conmy, of Fargo, was killed in the crash, her colleague, state Sen. Tim Mathern, told the Star Tribune.
The North Dakota Democratic–Nonpartisan League Party, an affiliate of the national Democratic Party, confirmed Conmy’s death in a social media post, calling her a champion for public education, the environment, and transparency.
“We are completely heartbroken and gutted by the loss of Representative Liz Conmy. Her death is a profound loss for our state,” the party said in a post on X.
Officers responded to a report of a small airplane crash at 11:51 a.m. and found an aircraft that had crashed and caught fire in a park in the city of Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, shortly after taking off, Brooklyn Park Police Inspector Matt Rabe said.
Rabe said the plane crashed shortly after taking off. He wouldn’t say how many people were on the plane. The Federal Aviation Administration said in a statement that two people were aboard.
The National Transportation Safety Board said it is investigating a crash involving a Beech F33A airplane and expects investigators to arrive at the scene soon.

April 21, 2026 - WASHINGTON – Sen. Mark Kelly’s campaign war chest has continued to explode since President Donald Trump accused him of sedition last fall.
Kelly raised about $13 million in the first three months of 2026. That’s on top of $12.5 million in the previous quarter, most of which poured in after Nov. 18, when he and five other congressional Democrats called on military personnel to disobey illegal orders.
Two days later, Trump called the video an act of sedition “punishable by death.” Four days after that, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth labeled those Democrats, all veterans of the military or CIA, the “seditious six.” He then ordered a post-retirement demotion for Kelly, a former combat pilot and astronaut who left the Navy as a captain.
“I’m sure that Trump and Hegseth’s attacks on Kelly over the video … is driving a lot of this fundraising, although Kelly already was a great fundraiser,” said Kyle Kondik, managing editor of Sabato’s Crystal Ball at the University of Virginia’s Center for Politics.

The fire at the airbase erupted overnight.
A huge fire erupted at a RAF airbase overnight, prompting a major 999 response. Several crews rushed to RAF Fairford, being used by US aircraft involved in operations in the Middle East, after they were called to reports of a fire at 1.52am.
The fire involved "a single-storey industrial storage building", Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue said, and was brought under control only several hours later, in the late morning of Sunday, April 26. A Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue spokesperson said: “We were called at 1.52am this morning to reports of a fire at RAF Fairford.
"Fire engines from Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service attended and were supported by neighbouring fire and rescue services.
“The fire involved a single-storey industrial storage building. It was brought under control safely and there were no casualties.
“Crews remain at the scene this morning as a precaution and to ensure the incident is fully resolved.
"Fire investigation is ongoing and the early indication suggests the cause of fire was nothing other than accidental.”
There were no immediate report of casualties.
A previous statement from the service, shared minutes before 5am, urged people in the area to keep their doors and windows closed due to the smoke rising from the area.
It read: "We are responding to a fire in a commercial building in the Fairford area. Residents are advised to keep their doors and windows closed due to smoke from the fire."
It is understood no RAF personnel were involved in firefighting activities.
The fire erupted in an unoccupied building, according to the US Air Force.
A US Air Force spokesperson told the Express: "At approximately 1am on 26 April, a fire was identified in an unoccupied building on RAF Fairford, leading to a response from on-base emergency services with the support of our partners from surrounding communities.
"There were no injuries sustained, the fire has been contained and currently poses no risk to the base populus or local community. We are thankful for the support of our local community members and services, the safety of our personnel, families, and surrounding communities remains our top priority.
"An investigation has been initiated and is ongoing, more information will be released as it becomes available."
The Government granted the US Air Force permission to utilise RAF Fairford, near the Wiltshire border, following the onset of the war in Iran.
Washington has deployed the facility to send bombers on defensive operations against Tehran.
