Yes, mRNA Vaccines Are Being Used on Animals in the US Food Supply.

There is growing controversy over the use mRNA vaccines in animals entering the US food supply. What consequences the use of such vaccines might have on our health is top of those concerns.

Attorney Tom Renz raised the issue with an article about the technology and, in particular, the passage of a food labelling bill through the Missouri Senate which is receiving ferocious pushback from Big Agriculture and its political representatives.

“This is a nightmare scenario whereby people’s genetics are potentially altered with ‘factory foods’ without them even knowing,” Renz wrote.

He has drawn attention to the fact that not only has mRNA vaccine technology for livestock been around for some time, but the idea of turning food into so-called “edible vaccines” using the technology was also being discussed as early as 2013. Will humans be administered gene-altering vaccines through the food supply – without knowledge or consent?

Renz points to the massive resistance to Missouri House Bill 1169 as evidence that “Big pharma DOES NOT WANT people to know they are going to use food to alter their genetics.” The bill would require the labelling of any food products that have the ability to alter your genes. Furthermore, it would also require informed consent for all vaccines, forms of gene therapy and medical interventions, and would force companies to disclose information about whether such treatments have transmissible effects.

According to Renz: “The lobbyists opposing this bill… are pushing to shut this bill down because factory mega-farmers like Bill Gates, the CCP, and others want to put vaccines in your food. These guys are supporting the big money but this will come at the expense of the family farmers.

“The problem is that the major factory farmers like Gates have legal teams that can set up defense shields against the torts that may come if the food supply starts poisoning people…

“Meanwhile, the small farmers will be at risk of being sued if it turns out that the food they are selling is unsafe despite the fact that most of them will not necessarily know what is happening.

“If the corn growers, soybean, cattle, and pork associations actually cared about the farmers they would be demanding the seed companies and vaccine manufacturers indemnify the small farmers for these products rather than opposing a bill that would force them to tell the farmers what they are doing.

“The corruption regarding this bill is amazing. Ultimately the labeling requirement would likely serve to protect farmers from being sued because the makers of seed and vaccines would have to make sure the farmers knew if they were putting potential gene therapies into their products. The opposition from the ag lobby is not to help the farmers, it is to help their own pockets.”

Clinton Foundation Aligned Wellcome Trust Funding Studies To Transplant Wombs Into Biological Men

Scientists are already fantasizing about how this will degrade the concept of a nuclear family

The Wellcome Trust, a private non-profit openly aligned with the Clinton Foundation and a regular participant in the Clinton Global Initiative, funded a study to determine if a donated cadaver uterus can be surgically transplanted into the body of a biological male.

The study, published by the National Institute for Health (NIH), also sought to determine if a baby could be ethically, legally, and medically brought to full term with the procedure.

It concluded that, while the procedure carries significant risk to the transplant patient, “The reproductive aspirations of M2F transgender women deserve equal consideration to those assigned female at birth and, subject to feasibility being shown in the suggested areas of research, it may be legally and ethically impermissible not to consider performing UTx in this population.”

They expounded upon the legal implications by noting that current civil rights law may prevent denying patients this type of procedure based on gender identity.

“Ethically, the consideration of performing UTx in transgender women is primarily motivated by the considerations of justice and equality.”

The Wellcome Trust isn’t the first organization to pursue this kind of dangerous research, however. The Cleveland Institute, also affiliated with the NIH, performed the procedure in 2019 that resulted in the “first baby in North America using a uterus transplanted from a deceased donor.” This procedure was performed on a biological female.

At least 80 womb transplants have been performed in over 10 countries (excluding Canada) worldwide since the first baby was born following a uterine transplant in Sweden in 2014. Since that time, more than 35 babies have been delivered via womb transplants.

In a different study, published by the NIH in January, author Alireza Jahromi fantasizes about the issue’s ability to upend the nuclear family structure, declaring, “In modern society, acceptance of gender diversity and fluidity is increasing; however, parenthood is still largely considered to be a binary construct. A hypothetical case of a transgender woman who undergoes uterus transplant and carries a pregnancy conceived with her own sperm is presented.”

She continues, “This situation raises unique ethical and legal issues regarding the parental designation of the transgender woman…Should ‘motherhood’ and ‘fatherhood’ be based on parental genetic contribution to the child?”

Clinical trials for womb transplants are expected to come to a close in early 2025, according to ClinicalTrials.gov, which keeps a record of these trials for the NIH.

When the clinical trials end for genetic womb transplants, which already carry significant ethical considerations, the scientific community will immediately begin trials for transplants into men.

During these trials, patients are expected to suffer from the procedures and embryos will fail repetitively as they tinker with the male human body to make it capable of carrying a child to term. Additionally, these horrific procedures will impact families suffering from grief after having lost a loved one, only to learn that their mother, wife, or daughters’ womb was given to a man because she unwittingly opted to become an organ donor on her driver’s license.

This selfless act of kindness, in which the donor expected that her organs would be used to save a life, would instead result in her donated womb performing de-facto abortions and unnatural scientific experiments without her having expressly given consent.

The Wellcome Trust could not be reached for comment on the nature of their studies or the extent of their relationship with the Clinton Global Initiative.

Police Work with Facial Recognition Company, Scraping Social Media Photos to Keep America in a Perpetual Police Lineup

The photos were collected from social media platforms without users’ permission or knowledge

Clearview AI CEO Hoan Ton-That admitted that the company scraped 30 billion photos from Facebook and other social media platforms and used them in its massive facial recognition database accessible by law enforcement agencies across the U.S. Critics call the company’s database a “perpetual police lineup.”

This is an example of the growing cooperation between private companies and government agencies in the ever-growing U.S. surveillance state.

The photos were collected from social media platforms without users’ permission or knowledge.

Clearview AI markets its facial recognition database as a tool allowing law enforcement to rapidly generate leads “to help identify suspects, witnesses and victims to close cases faster and keep communities safe.” According to Ton-That, law enforcement agencies across the U.S. have accessed the company’s database over 1 million times since 2017.

According to a CNN report last year, more than 3,100 U.S. agencies use Clearview AI, including the FBI and the Department of Homeland Security.

In a statement, Ton-That said, “Clearview AI’s database of publicly available images is lawfully collected, just like any other search engine like Google.”

While photo scraping might be legal, Facebook sent Clearview AI a cease and desist order in 2020 for violation of the platform’s terms of service. In an email to Insider, a Meta spokesperson said, “Clearview AI’s actions invade people’s privacy, which is why we banned their founder from our services and sent them a legal demand to stop accessing any data, photos, or videos from our services.”

Fight for the Future director of campaigns Caitlin Seeley George called Clearview “a total affront to peoples’ rights, full stop,” and said, “Police should not be able to use this tool.”

“Without laws stopping them, police often use Clearview without their department’s knowledge or consent, so Clearview boasting about how many searches is the only form of ‘transparency’ we get into just how widespread use of facial recognition is.”

Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF) senior policy analyst Matthew Guariglia told Insider that virtually everybody is subject to inclusion in this massive facial recognition database. That’s a problem even if you think you have “nothing to hide.”

“You don’t know what you have to hide. Governments come and go and things that weren’t illegal become illegal. And suddenly, you could end up being somebody who could be retroactively arrested and prosecuted for something that wasn’t illegal when you did it.”

Democrats in the House and the Senate have floated legislation that would allow undocumented migrants to effectively walk into the U.S. unrestricted if they declare they are LGBTQ+, prompting border officials to warn that suddenly “everyone is going to be LGBTQ.”

The legislation, introduced last week, would make it more difficult to detain illegal immigrants if they are catagorised as “vulnerable persons.”

The wording of the legislation, titled The Dignity for Detained Immigrants Act, makes it clear that anyone who is “lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, or intersex” is thereby subject to a greater risk of persecution and discrimination in their home countries, and so should not be detained or removed from the U.S. by authorities.

The legislation also asserts that migran ts with “limited English language proficiency” are also more vulnerable and could qualify for the special status.

How does one go about proving that an undocumented migrant really identifies as ‘intersex’?

You can see where this is heading.

Speaking to the Daily Caller, Border Patrol agents warned that the move will lead to migrants falsely claiming to be members of the LGBTQ community as a ticket into the country.

“I’ve only seen a handful of LGBTQ [migrants], but if this is passed I guarantee everyone is going to be LGBTQ,” one agent noted, with another adding “Someone told them in essence ‘just say you’re gay.’”

A third agent asserted “I think it’s a joke. No one gets special treatment down here. They are all breaking the law and have to go through detainment and processing just like anyone else.”

A fourth agent told the outlet “It’s just another incentive or tool for them to use to get into our country, with no restrictions. They would be backed by our own government approval, which will only encourage more illegal entry and a reason to gain free entry.”

“Many of them … would think they would getter better treatment, expedited processing or complete immunity when it came down to their court date,” the agent further emphasised.

“It feels like a slap in the face to Border Patrol Agents,” the agent continued, adding “We’ve literally been wondering how much worse things can get under the Biden Administration.”

“This newest proposed legislation, is at its core, another attempt to collapse the system, one that is already collapsing under its own weight. Migrants will just now claim to be LGBT+ to further avoid removal proceedings. It will be abused, just like … ‘asylum’ is already,” the agent added.

Meanwhile, a new analysis by Princeton Policy Advisors estimates that more than two million border crossers and illegal aliens will have been encountered at the border by the end of the fiscal year.

Mayor Loses It At School Board After Discovering ‘Filth’

A video of Riverton, Utah, Mayor Trent Staggs seemingly telling off a local school board went viral Wednesday.

The almost five-minute clip shows Staggs speaking directly to the local school board about an issue related to alleged “pornographic” materials being found in schools. Staggs said the situation “has become pretty alarming” but is not getting the attention it needs from the board.

“I’ve heard from scores of residents about the concerns of inappropriate materials in schools. I received emails, phone calls, to a large extent I need to tell you they feel like they are not being heard,” Staggs told the school board, noting that the city council sent out an email in September 2022 related to this problem.

“At the end of the day, this filth needs to be removed from our schools. There’s over one hundred volumes that one parent organization [put] together. A hundred volumes still in Jordan School Districts that clearly violate the law,” he continued.

Staggs argued that the material impacts children in a deeply negative way, and compared the situation to how school children were forced to wear masks “for their protection,” during the COVID-19 pandemic. He went on to say that he doesn’t want another school year to go by with the materials in schools, reminding the school board it is within their power to ensure that their policies protect children from this type of material across the district.

“We would never just ban someone from a school that’s dealing drugs or other harmful substances. We would lock him up. We would get them out of the district all together and that’s what we need to do,” Staggs stated.

Twitter users were quick to support Staggs in the comments on the video post. “That’s right mayor. Don’t relent!” one user commented.

In an exclusive statement shared to the Daily Caller, Staggs said, “No parents should have to worry when sending their children to school. No child should be made to feel uncomfortable with content that’s not even allowed on the evening news. As elected officials, we have a duty to protect our most vulnerable and make sure parents can rest easy knowing their children are receiving a good education free from indoctrination or harm.”

Staggs was elected to his second term in office in January, 2022, according to his official website. Prior to his political career, he worked for start-ups and Fortune 500 organizations.

It is projected that the Biden administration will allow more than two million illegal immigrants into this country by the end of this fiscal year, with congressional Democrats also trying to allow illegals to escape detention by using a leftist law and pretending to be members of the protected LGBT class.

Four border agents who work along the southern border of Mexico told the Daily Caller that illegal immigrants are more than likely to use this law as an opportunity to get released into the country by lying to the officers about their sexuality or their so-called “gender,” since there is no way to verify it.

“I’ve only seen a handful of LGBTQ [immigrants], but if this is passed I guarantee everyone is going to be LGBTQ,” one of the agents said. Others agreed.

In nearly three decades as a civilian employee with the Santa Monica Police Department and the city, Eric Uller was considered a standout public servant who won awards for his technological innovations.

But his biggest claim to fame was his work as a volunteer in the Police Activities League, where, beginning in the late 1980s, he worked with boys and girls in the nonprofit’s after-school program.

Uller was a familiar face at the PAL center that served Santa Monica’s Latino neighborhoods, often traveling in a police vehicle and befriending generations of youths.

It took decades to uncover that Uller was a sexual predator, the center of a stunning series of crimes that destroyed the lives of children and exposed grave questions as to why it took so long for authorities to uncover what he was doing.

Now, more than 200 people have come forward to say they were abused by Uller, most of whom were underprivileged children looking for guidance and activities and city programs. Court documents show he often preyed on vulnerable boys whose parents were in this country without proper immigration papers. Criminal investigations and civil lawsuits have revealed numerous missed warnings about Uller’s abuse over many years.

This week , Santa Monica settled more lawsuits, bringing its total payout to $229.285 million — the most costly single-perpetrator sexual abuse disbursement for any municipality in the state. But more than the money, the case has sparked intense criticism over why the city could not protect its children.

“How could this go on for so long? There is a generational trauma in the community because of Uller,” City Councilman Oscar de la Torre said.

“You have to understand in this liberal city, this is a Black and brown part of the city, and no one in the government was watching out for our kids. The Pico neighborhood was marginalized in that era,” said de la Torre, noting that Uller’s abuse occurred “under the shield of law enforcement” and “not one person lost a job” in response to the oversight.

Two Chinese companies, Gotion and CATL, are on the verge of building two new battery manufacturing facilities in Michigan. These companies were lured by billions in state and local tax incentives and infrastructure investments, and the environmental requirements buried in the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022.

[T]he state of Michigan is making a big bet on electric vehicle (EV) technology in concert with the Chinese Communist Party. What could go wrong?

The answer to that is simple: Plenty. At a time when bipartisan members of Congress on the Select Committee on the CCP are conducting war games simulating a U.S. response to a Chinese invasion of Taiwan, one has to ask is this the right moment to seek more Chinese investment in the state. Especially when one of those projects is just 100 miles from where the U.S. is training Taiwanese troops to defend against a Chinese Communist invasion.

Members of Congress, state legislators, local elected officials, and state and congressional staff have been forced to sign NDAs so they can access information taxpayers and the media have been prevented from seeing. What is so secret that it requires taxpayers to be shielded from information about the projects that their dollars will fund? Local newspapers have requested information through Freedom of Information Act requests, but they have been denied.

Not only are the projects shrouded in a veil of secrecy, there are legitimate concerns about various organizations actually adhering to the Foreign Agents Reporting Act (FARA). This act requires individuals working on behalf of a foreign entity to register their activities with the Justice…. Former Ambassador Joe Cella and I have… have jointly submitted a request to the Justice Department to review specific individuals and their compliance with federal disclosure laws.

[N]ow is the time for both battery projects to be paused. It is time for legislators to engage in their fiduciary responsibility, recognize the changed environment, and reevaluate plans to spend taxpayer dollars to fund two Chinese companies, the CCP, and potentially even the Taliban and the re-emerging Islamic State. It is a new day and US taxpayer money should not be backing potential adversaries.

Fewer and Militarised Police

Reflecting a longer-term trend, in 2019 the International Association of Chiefs of Police reported that “Law enforcement agencies across the United States are struggling to recruit and hire police officers.” While police killings of innocent civilians – see ‘Mapping Police Violence’ and ‘Not just “a few bad apples”: US police kill civilians at much higher rates than other countries’ – failed to rate a mention in the report, it did at least acknowledge “scrutiny of the police, cellphone recordings of interactions between the police and public, media coverage, and popular entertainment portrayals of police have led many young people to view police differently than their parents may have.” See ‘The State of Recruitment: A Crisis for Law Enforcement’.

In late 2021, two years into policing the pandemic, US police reported a substantially increased rate of retirement and resignation among police officers, with more than five times as many police leaving the New York Police Department in 2021 as left in 2020. According to the report: “In the wake of a spasmodic year of protests and pandemic, plus an aftermath of violent crime, the profession may be fast approaching a generational and possibly historic reckoning.” See ‘Law enforcement faces unprecedented challenges in hiring and keeping recruits’.

The World Economic Forum Says It Will ‘Accelerate’ Implementation of Globalist Agenda 2030.

World leaders will be gathering together later this year to “accelerate the implementation of Agenda 2030,” according to an announcement made by the unaccountable, corporate-led World Economic Forum (WEF) earlier this week.

The United Nations (UN) and the WEF appear frustrated by a lack of progress made towards their ‘Great Reset‘ ideology, alongside Agenda 2030, the socialist, ideological successor to the failed “Millennium Development Goals”.

The WEF – led by German engineer Klaus Schwab, whose father once worked for the Nazi Party apparatus – has said previous efforts to implement their plans “suffered unforeseen setbacks due to the COVID-19 pandemic, major negative impacts of climate change, and the rising cost of food and fuel everywhere due to the conflict in Ukraine.”

Global leaders and representatives are, therefore, being summoned to “strategize” and expedite the progress of what the WEF refers to as “arguably the greatest-ever human endeavor undertaken to create peaceful, just, equal, and sustainable societies.”

The UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs has argued that “[p]ractical solutions that can accelerate progress on the [Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations (SDGs)] will be urgently needed.”

The seventeen SDGs comprising Agenda 2030 were first compiled in 2015 and were agreed upon by 191 UN Member State governments, though not necessarily their voting publics. These “goals” include laudable aspirations such as “ending poverty”, and eradicating world hunger, amongst more nefarious globalist goals in areas of gender ideology and hard-left socialist economics.

Since Davos 2o21, the WEF has publicly discussed how these goals can be used to achieve the ‘Great Reset,’ which would see ordinary people able to own nothing personally. The WEF claims this will increase happiness in the world.

Civic Participation.

The WEF is focusing on something called “civic participation” to push its plans. They describe this as tackling “economic inequality, gender imbalances, corruption, and environmental degradation.”

“In the quest to build back better,” says the WEF, “civil society is proposing new ways of achieving the SDGs and creating a better post-pandemic world.”

What this will look like is something approximating communism, for a better world is one where “the benefits are evenly spread” because “development must be about freedom from fear and freedom from want.”

This appears to be very much in line with the WEF’s agenda where everyone works together for the “common good,” rather than aiming for profit or reward for hard work rendered or risks taken.

Halfway There.

The WEF plans to assemble world leaders after the highly-anticipated Sustainable Development Goals Progress Report is published by the Secretary-General of the UN, Antonio Guterres, later this year.

The report’s findings will inevitably lay the foundations for the international deliberations. “This year’s report,” insists the WEF, “is especially crucial as we’re nearing the halfway point of Agenda 2030.”

As detailed in “How COVID Patients Died for Profit,” hospitals were financially incentivized to diagnose patients with COVID and treat them with protocols known to be lethal, in part to “protect” the staff from infection.

As if that weren’t bad enough, primary care providers across the U.S. were also bribed to coerce patients into getting the toxic COVID shot. The following document was posted to Twitter in mid-April 2023 by Rep. Thomas Massie, an award-winning scientist and Republican Congressman for Kentucky.1

Hospitals Received at Least $100 Billion From Taxpayers

In late March 2020, the U.S. Congress passed the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act.4 Within this $2 trillion stimulus package, $100 billion was earmarked for hospitals and local health centers that treated COVID patients.5

And, rather than simply agreeing to pay COVID patients’ bills, the government decided to pay hospitals extra — a lot extra — over and above the standard bill, provided they treated patients in a certain way. By the end of October 2020, $96 billion had already been disbursed.6

Ostensibly, the additional bonuses for COVID patients were supposed to help hospitals recoup revenue that was lost due to the cancelation of elective procedures. But hospitals were supposedly filled to the brim with COVID patients, so just how much revenue was lost?

“Dr. Luft is a whistleblower,” Luft attorney Robert Henoch told the Washington Free Beacon. He asserts that prosecutors decided against pursuing Luft’s information “and are instead targeting him with trumped-up and false charges.”

In an email to parents in Caitlyn's year, known as Upper V, this week, headmistress Jo Duncan said: 'They are a close year group and, as you will understand, they are very shocked and upset.

'It is an extremely difficult time for everyone and we will do our utmost to provide the additional pastoral care the girls will need.'

A parents' charity event and funfair at the weekend were cancelled out of respect.

Ms Duncan ended her letter saying: 'I am sure that you will join me and everyone at Wycombe Abbey in sending our deepest sympathies to Caitlyn's parents, siblings and wider family who are in our thoughts and prayers at this sad time.'

Caitlyn's father, banker Jonathan Scott-Lee, a senior executive in M&A Execution, Technology working on the sale of HSBC Canada to Royal Bank of Canada, was in Hong Kong at the time of the tragedy and he immediately flew to the UK.

Rep. Ben Cline (R-VA) and other House Republicans unveiled legislation on Thursday aimed at scrapping an Obama-era agency that pushes “Green New Deal”-style regulations.

The Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act was passed in the wake of the 2008 financial crisis. The legislation created the Federal Insurance Office (FIO) to regulate the private insurance market. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen said in October the agency would start collecting more data from business and homeowners’ insurance plans to figure out how alleged climate risks might impact the policies.

Cline told the Daily Caller that the regulation serves as a primary reason that the agency should be scrapped altogether. The Virginia Republican explained thatthe agency duplicates responsibilitiesat the Treasury Department, Federal Reserve, and the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative.

He explained to the Caller:

The Federal Insurance Office’s burdensome regulations and oppressive federal oversight of each state’s insurance market are glaring examples of the federal government’s excessive overreach. Worse, the Biden Administration has weaponized this bureaucracy to implement its woke Green New Deal agenda in the regulation of insurance. State laws protecting the availability of insurance for millions of Americans should be defended, not used as a political football. Defunding the ever-expanding agency is a good step towards draining the D.C. swamp and returning oversight back to the states.

Reps. Andy Biggs (R-AZ), Glen Grothman (R-WI), Alex Mooney (R-WY), Ralph Norman (R-SC), and Randy Weber (R-TX) cosponsored the legislation.

Cline, a Freedom Caucus member, is not solely focused on scrapping financial regulations; he has also raised the alarm about the FBI and other law enforcement agencies purchasing Americans’ private data, which some lawmakers have referred to as a run around the Fourth Amendment.

One day after top teacher’s union official Randi Weingarten testified to a House Oversight Subcommittee about school closures during the COVID-19 pandemic, Republicans are demanding that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention provide the studies that it relied upon to justify its COVID-19 guidelines.

Under director Rochelle Walensky, the CDC released guidance in February 2021 asserting that schools could reopen if students and teachers wore masks and maintained social distancing. The guidelines did not say that teachers had to be vaccinated ahead of reopening, but recommended that they be considered high priority to receive the vaccine. Weingarten testified that President-elect Joe Biden’s transition team reached out to the American Federation of Teachers to discuss reopening guidelines, and AFT and another union viewed the guidelines ahead of their public release.

“The CDC has yet to release any of the so-called data the agency used in its decision making. In fact, an internal CDC review last year found that it ‘takes too long for CDC to publish its data and science for decision making’ and that you are ‘committed to sharing scientific findings and data faster, than at the typical speed for academic publication,'” Republican Florida Rep. Anna Paulina Luna wrote Thursday in a letter to Walensky.

Fellow signatories include Colorado Rep. Lauren Boebert and Arizona Rep. Eli Crane.

The letter notes the CDC’s abrupt shift in masking guidance. The agency announced in May 2021 that fully-vaccinated adults would no longer be ordered to mask indoors, but reversed course two months later. The CDC finally stopped recommending masking for unvaccinated individuals in August 2022.

“It’s beyond time that the American people receive answers for the confusing and contradictory guidance the CDC forced them to abide by – guidance that more often than not cost them their jobs, mental and physical health, and way of life. The CDC must provide a full explanation as to why this happened to ensure it never takes place again,” Luna said in a statement to the Daily Caller.

The records uncovered by Judicial Watch’s lawsuit include information further confirming how the Biden White House was directly involved in the dispute by initiating “special access request” that spurred a FBI investigation of Trump’s records. Gary Stern, general counsel for the National Archives wrote to his colleagues on August 23, 2022:

As part of its environmental justice drive, the Biden administration is spending $1 billion dollars to increase equitable access to trees and green spaces in disadvantaged urban communities around the nation. The costly initiative will increase urban tree cover, boost equitable access to nature and tackle the climate crisis, according to an announcement issued by the administration this month. The public funds will be disbursed to community organizations, local and state governments, universities and nonprofits that work to increase tree cover in urban spaces and expand equitable access to nature while bolstering resilience to climate impacts, the administration claims.

“This program is yet another way that the Biden-Harris Administration is investing in America and ensuring that all people, regardless of ZIP code or neighborhood, have equitable access to the benefits that trees and green spaces provide,” said U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Secretary Tom Vilsack, who served in the same position under Obama. “Whether it’s reducing heat stress or creating jobs in tree-planting and maintenance, this grant funding will support local communities and partners who are working on the ground to advance environmental justice by mitigating the impact of climate change on communities who lack tree cover in urban spaces while giving kids more safe spaces to play outdoors.” To celebrate the availability of the new urban forest funds, the administration held a tree planting ceremony in Newark, New Jersey this month.

In addition to the billion-dollar investment, the USDA Forest Service is spending another $250 million to “further local efforts to support urban communities through equitable access to trees and the benefits they provide.” The allocation is part of the president’s Justice40 Initiative to assure that 40% of the overall benefits of certain federal investments flow to disadvantaged communities that are marginalized, overburdened by pollution, underserved, and lack access to trees and nature. The government determines where the trees get planted with a special engine called Climate and Economic Justice Screening Tool, created by the Biden administration to identify communities that are experiencing the burdens of climate change, energy, health, housing, legacy pollution, transportation, water and workforce development. “These are the communities that are disadvantaged because they are overburdened and underserved,” according to the tool’s website.

Back at the celebration in Newark, administration officials justified the costly tree venture with various official statements. “Research shows that trees and green spaces improve physical and mental health outcomes and create new economic opportunities,” said USDA Undersecretary for Natural Resources and the Environment Dr. Homer Wilkes. “They also enhance community green spaces and support lasting community relationships and engagements.” The taxpayer dollars will enable the government to bring those benefits to disadvantaged communities across the nation, Wilkes says, and to support new partnerships with a diverse array of organizations. Forest Service Chief Randy Moore said that investing in these costly “urban forests” is the same as investing in the health and wellness of the underserved communities. “Equitable access to these benefits is key, as everyone deserves the opportunity to live in a healthy and sustainable environment,” according to the forest chief.

Besides the hefty allocations for urban forests, the Biden administration is also doling out $100 million in environmental justice grants, marking the largest amount ever offered by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). The money will “help underserved and overburdened communities across the country,” according to the EPA’s Environmental Justice website, which explains how the movement arose. It “was started by individuals, primarily people of color, who sought to address the inequity of environmental protection in their communities,” the agency writes. Just last week the president signed an executive order to revitalize the nation’s commitment to “environmental justice for all.” The document orders the creation of a new Office of Environmental Justice within the White House and the mobilization of federal agencies to confront existing and legacy barriers and injustices, among other things. It also directs the government to make “historic investments in environmental justice.”

BREAKING: Nashville trans school shooter’s manifesto to be released by authorities: report

Writings from the Covenant shooter are now being reviewed for public release.

The manifesto left by Nashville Covenant School shooter Audrey Hale may soon be released to the public.

Metro Nashville Police Department’s Public Information Office told Fox 17 News on Thursday, "The investigation has advanced to the point that writings from the Covenant shooter are now being reviewed for public release. That process is underway and will take a little time."

Hale, who identified as transgender, entered the Covenant School on March 27, killing three staff members and three young students.

In the weeks since, Tennessee Rep. Tim Burchett said that the manifesto "could maybe tell us a little bit about what’s going on inside of [Hale's] head," adding that the manifesto should not be made available to the public, but rather to lawmakers and the families of the deceased.

Metro Nashville Council Member Courtney Johnston stated that according to her sources, the document was "a blueprint on total destruction," adding that "it was so, so detailed at the level of what [Hale] had planned." Johnston also cautioned against releasing it to the world, noting that while some parts should be made available, the document in its entirety "in the wrong person's hands would be astronomically dangerous."

Law enforcement recovered numerous documents from Hale's vehicle and bedroom, showing that she was "planning over a period of months to commit mass murder at The Covenant School." Tennessee Bureau of Investigation Director David Rausch explained that "one is specifically a plan and the other is some journal-type rantings."

At the time of publication, it remains unclear whether or not elements of the manifesto will be redacted.

After last week saw The Fed's balance sheet continue is decline back from its bank-bailout resurgence, all eyes will be back on H.4.1. report this evening to see if things have continued to 'improve' or re-worsened amid regional bank shares re-testing post-SVB amid earnings disappointments.

Following the unexpected OUTFLOW the previous week, this week saw money market funds resume their trend with a $53.8 billion INFLOW (and as long as the Reverse Repo Process, via the real arm of the FRB the New York branch, continues to pay risk free munee @4.8% this trend will continue with the occasional hiccup like SVB or First Republic). The breakdown was $48.9 billion from Institutional funds and $4.98 billion from retail funds. That pushed assets back up near their $5.277 trillion record high and suggests last week's deposit OUTFLOWS may be about to re-accelerate - not good news for banks? On top of the news from First Republic this week, one could argue that Round 2 of the banking crisis (bank superwalk as Jim Bianco has put it) is just beginning. Bear in mind though that it's tax-time and their are some odd seasonal impacts to the data. (Not that much ..really nigga?)'

Though not wanting to piss all over those hopeful fireworks, we note that reverse repo continues to rise (Cap#2 is today's ($2.273.925T @ 4.8% and trend line going all the way back when they started up again (in size) May '21). However, the most anticipated financial update of the week - the infamous H.4.1. showed the world's most important balance sheet shrank for the 5th straight week last week, by $30.5 billion, notably more than last week's tumble ("helped" by a $16.6bn QT) The Total Securities held outright on The Fed balance sheet fell to $7.84 trillion, the lowest since Sept 2021. Looking at the actual reserve components-cap#3 that were provided by the Fed, we find that Fed backstopped facility borrowings ROSE AGAIN last week from $144 billion to $155.2 billion (still massively higher than the $4.5 billion pre-SVB). …but the composition shifted, as usage of the Discount Window rose by $4 billion to $73.8 billion (upper pane below) along with an $8 billion increase in usage of the Fed's brand new Bank Term Funding Program-Cap#4, or BTFP (this is ran out the US. Treasury Exchange Stabilization Fund), to $81.3 billion (middle pane) from $79.0 billion last week. Meanwhile, other credit extensions - consisting of Fed loans to bridge banks established by the FDIC to resolve SVB and Signature Bank were relatively unchanged at around $170BN (lower pane) All in cap#4

Scanning down the H.4.1, Cap#5 we note that Foreign repo down another $20 billion back to $0 finally and Other Fed Assets (loans to FDIC etc) rose $2.3 billion to $170.4 billion. Of course we get to see the actual deposit outflows (or inflows) tomorrow after the bell, but it appears the hopeful bounce was nothing more than the tax-related seasonal we warned about last week.

An institution that has long influenced academia in the United States has lost credibility. The College Board—a nonprofit organization that oversees the development of Advanced Placement (AP) precollege courses and the administration of the SAT exam that is used in college admissions—has been caught in an outright lie about its practices, raising questions about its vulnerability to political pressures. With the integrity of the College Board now in question, academia must decide whether it can be trusted.

In February, a major storm erupted in academia around the launch of an AP course in African American studies. Prior to its release, Florida governor Ron DeSantis and other conservatives complained that the curriculum promulgated liberal orthodoxy. To the dismay of scholars, the Board then released a revised version, stating that the changes were made through normal processes. Now, emails have surfaced belying that claim. The implications of this deception are tremendous not only for the humanities but also for science. An incursion into academic freedom for one is an incursion for all.

The College Board had it right in the fall of 2022 when it released a framework for this AP course. As historian Gerald Early told me, “Black studies was always meant to be a challenge to the white assumptions about the construction of knowledge and about the theoretical claims and political uses of the white deployment of knowledge.” The initial framework was true to this vision, and included material on critical race theory and intersectionality, concepts crucial to understanding the activist nature of the field. But just as DeSantis criticized the course as “woke indoctrination,” the curriculum was refined, making much of this material optional. Critics claimed that the College Board appeased a future presidential candidate, but the organization flooded the media with interviews and statements insisting that this was not the case.

Now the Wall Street Journal has published private emails showing that statements by the College Board were false. The courageous actor in the saga is Professor Nishani Frazier of the University of Kansas, who was involved in developing the portion of the course in which revisions were made. In response to the spin that the College Board’s chief executive officer put on the controversy, Frazier wrote in one of the emails, “We all know this is a blatant lie. In fact, the major changes which occurred came from my unit—and not once did AP speak with me about these changes. Instead, it rammed through revisions, pretended course transformation was business as usual, and then further added insult to injury by attempting to gaslight the public with faux innocence.” The course, she said, was “edited behind our backs.” She put the blame for this on “the failure of AP to recognize both its own institutional racism and how its own lies and capitulation precipitated the creation of a monster of its own making.” When I asked the College Board for a comment about Frazier’s email, it declined to provide one.

In a column I wrote in February, I suggested that the reason the College Board could deny that it bowed to political pressure was that it had already known what changes the Florida governor (and perhaps other conservative states) would want for Black studies. Whatever the case, we now know from Frazier’s email that the Board did not follow its normal procedures in editing the course, as they had repeatedly insisted.

The College Board now says that it will “rectify” the matter by again revising the course in a manner that will involve experts and a development committee. With eyes fixed upon it, the organization cannot afford to diminish any topics in the curriculum. But what about the other AP courses? There are nearly 40 of them, for which there is a large high school and college appetite. Are they in jeopardy? If the College Board knew what DeSantis desired for Black studies, might they also anticipate that he and other conservatives would favor adding intelligent design to AP Biology or remove climate change from AP Environmental Science? The College Board can no longer be trusted to defend any discipline.

The corruption of the College Board is appalling. It simply cannot be trusted, and academia must stop relying on it to make important decisions about education.

First Republic Faces Potential Curb on Borrowing From Fed

US bank regulators are weighing the prospect of downgrading their private assessments of First Republic Bank — a move that may curb the troubled firm’s access to Federal Reserve lending facilities.

The Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. has been giving the bank time to reach a private deal to shore up its finances. But as weeks keep passing without a transaction, senior officials are increasingly weighing whether to downgrade their scoring of the firm’s condition, including its so-called Camels rating, according to people with direct knowledge of the talks. That would likely limit the bank’s use of the Fed’s discount window and an emergency facility launched last month, the people said.

The FDIC hasn’t reached a decision, nor have officials warned First Republic about their thinking while waiting on the bank’s managers to shore up its balance sheet, some of the people said, asking not to be identified discussing the private conversations. If the firm is able to reach a deal with new backers to strengthen its finances, that could head off the need to lower ratings.

Spokespeople for the company, FDIC, Fed and Treasury declined to comment.

First Republic has been struggling to find a rescuer for weeks, and any steps to raise capital or sell holdings quickly could be painful for current shareholders. The stock lost half its remaining value on Tuesday after quarterly results disappointed investors and news broke that the firm might sell $50 billion to $100 billion of assets. One stumbling block to a solution has been the conflicting needs of US officials and the banks that might help. The regulators favor a private rescue that doesn’t involve the US seizing the bank and taking a multibillion-dollar hit to the FDIC’s insurance fund. Banks want to avoid anything that damages their own finances and have been waiting for the government to offer aid, such as the FDIC taking control of the firm’s least desirable assets — something that can happen under the law only if First Republic fails and is put into receivership. The stock price plunged 30% Wednesday, (it was up fiddy cents or 8.79% today) with the shares halted for volatility multiple times during the trading day.

US Expands Sanctions On Russia's FSB For "Holding Americans Hostage"

The Biden administration has taken initial action in response to Russia's detention of Wall Street Journal reporter Evan Gershkovich, who has been in custody since his arrest March 29 in the city of Yekaterinburg on espionage charges. The end of this week marks one month since he's been imprisoned.

New sanctions have been imposed on Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) for taking Americans "hostage", with a senior admin official telling Axios, "We do think it's significant that the first round of sanctions are being announced specifically for this type of behavior, because we're really concerned about this type of behavior."

The sanctions are intended to deter and punish those who hold Americans hostage, officials said. Gershkovich as well as Paul Whelan have been declared "unlawfully detained".

However, the FSB is already under sanctions, thus these new measures are likely more targeted or an expansion after the initial wave.

Simultaneously on Thursday more sanctions were also unveiled for the intelligence arm of the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), and additionally four IRGC leaders, for their roles in the arrest and imprisonment of Americans.

The US is "showing that one cannot engage in this sort of awful behavior of using human beings as pawns, as bargaining chips, without paying consequences," according to another a senior US official.

A Moscow court this month denied a request that Gershkovich be placed under pre-trial house arrest…

It appears the US and UK coordinated dual action against Russian officials, with British Foreign Secretary James Cleverly announcing sanctions the same day against five Russian officials, saying they have "utter contempt for basic human rights."

Court documents also allege that Mr Aipi's wife, a court magistrate, attempted to bribe an investigating police officer, later allegedly apologising through her clerk and claiming her "husband is spoiling her reputation".

The allegations against CCDA staff include official corruption and misappropriation of public funds, and "illegally executing" cheques for the benefit of CCDA's acting managing director William Lakain and his associates.

The body is funded by local taxes, international grants including money provided by the United Nations, and contributions from a rainforest preservation project with links to Australian businesses.

Trump retires 'Crooked Hillary' nickname, unveils 'Crooked Joe Biden'

Trump says 2024 'is the final battle' to save the United States

Former President Donald Trump said "Crooked Joe Biden" poses a "threat to democracy," vowing to "crush" him at the ballot box in November 2024 and to "settle our unfinished business."

Trump on Thursday hosted a campaign rally in Manchester, New Hampshire, welcoming the crowd of nearly 2,000 people and touting more than 50 endorsements from Granite State officials, while reacting to Biden’s pre-taped re-election campaign announcement.

Former President Donald Trump said "Crooked Joe Biden" poses a "threat to democracy," vowing to "crush" him at the ballot box in November 2024 and to "settle our unfinished business."

Trump on Thursday hosted a campaign rally in Manchester, New Hampshire, welcoming the crowd of nearly 2,000 people and touting more than 50 endorsements from Granite State officials, while reacting to Biden’s pre-taped re-election campaign announcement.

"Joe Biden officially announced that he will seek four more disastrous years in the White House," Trump said, vowing to "rescue America" from another four years of "disastrous" Democratic policies.

Trump, who currently is leading the Republican 2024 presidential primary field by more than 30 points in a number of new polls this week, including the latest Fox News poll, shifted to make a "major announcement."

"I will be retiring the name ‘Crooked’ from Hillary Clinton," Trump said. "And I’m going to give her a new name — I don’t know, like maybe ‘Lovely Hillary’ or ‘Beautiful Hillary’ — but I’m going to retire the name ‘Crooked’ so that we can use the name for Joe Biden, because he’ll be known from now on as 'Crooked Joe Biden.'"

Trump joked that Clinton is "out there someplace celebrating" the retirement of his 2016 nickname for her, and added that there has "never been anyone in the history of American politics so crooked or dishonest as Joe Biden."

"And the press absolutely refuses to report it," Trump said, slamming Biden for appearing to use a cheat sheet at a White House press conference Wednesday afternoon showing a reporter’s name and pre-planned question.

Trump, pointing to Biden’s re-election campaign announcement and his comments that "MAGA pose a threat to democracy," stressed that "there is no threat there."

"No," Trump said. "It is Biden who poses the threat to democracy because he is grossly incompetent, he has no idea what he is doing and basically, he doesn’t have a clue, and that is a very bad position to put our country in."

He added, "Our country is in a very, very dangerous position right now. Very, very dangerous."

Trump said the U.S. is a nation "in serious decline" that has "lost its way."
