Joe Biden repeated an untrue story for at least the eighth time on Monday claiming an Amtrak conductor congratulated him for racking up one million miles on the train commuting between Wilmington, Delaware and Washington, D.C.

The president has told this fabricated story since at least his 2020 presidential campaign.

Standing beside Maryland Governor We Moore, Biden told the often-repeated story as part of his remarks kicking off a new project to replace a train tunnel in Baltimore built in the 1870s.

Biden, 80, said a conductor gave him kudos for logging more miles on Amtrak than on Air Force Two as vice president.

'I was going home as a United States senator – as vice president – and one of the conductors said to me, 'Hey Joe, big deal, a million – whatever – 200 –.' He said, 'You've traveled over a million miles on Amtrak,' Biden recalled.

'I said, 'How the hell do you know that?' And they added it up there,' Biden recalled, even though fact-checks have shown this is not true.

Biden, who has been called 'Amtrak Joe' due to his affinity for the train, has told the story several times of his Amtrak conductor friend Angelo Negri, who is at the center of the story.

Negri, however, had been dead for more than a year – and retired for more than two decades – before the earliest moment Biden could have had this conversation as vice president.

Negri retired as an Amtrak conductor in 1993, according to his 2014 obituary. That is long before Biden was elected vice president in 2008. In one re-telling, Biden claimed to have hit the milestone in 2015 - a year after Negri's death.

I was recently in New Jersey, enjoying a Chik-fil-A sandwich, sucking a cup of diet soda pop through a detestable paper straw, and reading about thetenth dead whale to wash up on a Long Island or New Jersey shorewhen I was blasted with a 50,000-watt bolt of liberal irony.

The pink-haired dime museums on the left canceled plastic straws when one was found in the nose of a living sea turtle, but they haven’t made a peep about the erasure of the whales.

Perhaps the turtle accidentally inhaled the straw. Or maybe the straw was purposely put there by the turtle itself after a raucous night with this turtle:

Either way, the left pooped their non-binary panties and decided straws had to go. The straw crusaders hit the streets and straw justice was done.

FACT-O-RAMA! Once upon a time, medical needles were washing up on New Jersey shores and the leftists squealed. Today it’s dead whales, and the libs are quiet.

Major companies and even several states — like New Jersey — banned the dreaded turtle-killing annoying plastic straws and forced the decomposable and foul-tasting paper slurpers on us.

FACT-O-RAMA! Paper straws suck.

All of this hoopla over one live turtle with onestraw in its schnoz. Yet the turtle-huggers don’t seem to care that ten dead whales have washed up, some on New Jersey beaches and some on Long Island, N.Y. Another was spotted by a ship off the Jersey coast.

Why are whales dying in record numbers and — just as importantly — why are the deodorant-dodging hippies not talking about the whale-ocaust? Why haven’t they banned … something … to save the whales? Do turtles have a better publicist?

STINK-O-RAMA! Ambergris is smelly whale vomit and a word I frequently use to refer to lefties.

A whale washed up near the southern Jersey town of Brigantine, near where geotechnical surveying of wind farm leases has been taking place. In fact, a lot of thedead whales have washed up suspiciously close to the sites of future windmill farms in both New York and New Jersey.

But windmills are going to save the planet, right? The lefty nature harpies took to the streets to ban straws but don’t seem to want to discuss the very real likelihood that the vibrations from the windmill-industrial complex are killing the humpbacks.

The Communist New Network (CNN) was quick to dispel the notion that their beloved wind turbines — or rather, thesonar used to help build their fields— were causing the carnage. They even went so far as to suggest that — you guessed it — “climate change and warming oceans” are bringing the whales into shipping lanes where they are slaughtered like groundhogs on the highway.

As PJ media’s own Lincoln Brown pointed out in the above article, the whales have found friends in the Republican party. Rep. Jeff Van Drew (R-N.J.) wants the surveying stopped until we know whether or not it is the cause of the current whale-cide.

I can’t authoritatively say that all of the whales that are washing up are because of offshore wind farms. But what I can tell you is that the seven whales that washed up off New Jersey in the past month have all washed upduring intense geotechnical surveying of wind farm leasesoff of New Jersey. On the East Coast, there has been an unusual mortality event for humpback whales from 2016 until now. The only thing that has changed in the ocean in that time is the fact there have been offshore wind surveys occurring from 2015 until now. Now, magically there are a bunch of humpback whales dying.

I would think ten dead whales washing up in close proximity, with another spotted by a passing ship, would have the hirsute dirt-worshippers in berserk mode, but all I hear are crickets. It seems the enviro-doom cheerleaders are obediently quiet when it comes to the possibility that their beloved wind farm technology is killing the biggest mammals on the planet along the shores of New Jersey and New York.

Joe Biden is finally putting an end to to COVID-19 national emergency on May 11 – eight months after declaring the pandemic was over.

The president informed Congress on Monday that he will end the twin national emergencies for addressing coronavirus more than three years after they were declared.

The White House wants a 14-week drawdown of the policies and has warned Republicans that ending it immediately will have wide-ranging consequences.

The GOP have introduced resolutions to end the restrictions this week and have promised to investigate the administration's handling of the pandemic.

The Office of Management and Budget warned the GOP bid to end the health emergency now would lead to the lifting of Title 42.

'Congress will effectively be requiring the Administration to allow thousands of migrants per day into the country immediately without the necessary policies in place', a letter to lawmakers warned.

There would also be'chaos' at hospitals,the agency claims, and it would also impact student loan repayments.

Most of the world has returned closer to normalcy since the start of lockdowns and tighter health restrictions in March 2021.

The move to end the national emergency and public health emergency declarations would formally restructure the federal coronavirus response to treat the virus as an endemic threat to public health that can be managed through agencies' normal authorities.

It comes as lawmakers have already ended elements of the emergencies that kept millions of Americans insured during the pandemic.

'We still have a problem with covid,' Biden said in a September interview with 60 Minutes. 'We're still doing a lot of work on it.'

'But the pandemic is over,' he insisted.

Combined with the drawdown of most federal COVID-19 relief money, the new announcement would also shift the development of vaccines and treatments away from the direct management of the federal government.

Then-President Donald Trump first declared the COVID-19 pandemic a national emergency on March 13, 2020.

The emergencies have been repeatedly extended by Biden since he took office in January 2021, and are set to expire in the coming months after most recently being quietly extended for the final time.

The White House said Biden plans to extend them both briefly one more time to end on May 11.

'An abrupt end to the emergency declarations would create wide-ranging chaos and uncertainty throughout the health care system- for states, for hospitals and doctors´ offices, and, most importantly, for tens of millions of Americans,' the Office of Management and Budget wrote in a Statement of Administration Policy.

Congress has slammed the Biden administration for trying to overreach administrative authority with the continued emergency orders.

The legislative branch already blunted the reach of the public health emergency that had the most direct impact on Americans as political calls to end the declaration intensified.

“But kids can be boys or girls,” one of the children interjects some reality into the discussion to counteract the adult’s delusions.

The pro groomers, after their grooming session, congratulate one another on their hard work, as if indoctrinating toddlers into any ideology is an achievement.

One of the common, insidious ways by which the regulatory state deprives Americans of constitutional rights is by whittling away at those rights piecemeal through the promulgation of regulations designed to serve an amorphous “public interest” political end at the expense of the constitutional limits on power designed to protect individual liberties. That is the case with a recent rule adopted by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives(ATF) to compel law-abiding gun owners to register and be subject to transfer taxes for firearms that have pistol braces.

On Jan. 13, 2023, ATF did a volte-face, arbitrarily and capriciously changing the definition of “rifle” in the regulations to include any firearm “designed or redesigned, made or remade, and intended to be fired from the shoulder.” (See ATF Final Rule.) The rule will enable ATF on a case-by-case basis to decide whether a firearm is subject to the registration, reporting, transfer, and tax requirements of the National Firearms Act. Instantaneously, the rule makes millions of gun owners technical felons for not registering.

In 2012, Alex Bosco invented the pistol brace. The brace is an attachment to the rear end of a firearm that anchors it in the arm. It enables the gun owner to shoot with one hand. Bosco invented the pistol brace for disabled veterans with a particular end in view of enabling them to shoot an AR-15 pistol. ATF earlier determined that pistol braces were not the same as shoulder stocks. Shoulder stocks are heavily regulated.

Now, casting aside its regulatory history and fundamentally changing congressional law without an act of Congress(indicative of an unconstitutional major questions doctrine violation), ATF has ruled that every owner of a firearm containing a pistol brace a preponderance of which are disabled gun owners, will have to identify him or herself on the national firearms registration and transfer record, obtain approval from the Attorney General before transferring the firearm to anyone else, and pay transfer taxes.

This is yet another assault on the Second Amendment. The Second Amendment protects the individual right to bear arms. That right is among the unalienable rights of mankind, pre-existing government and specifically recognized in the Constitution as protected from government. Through innumerable efforts over the last several decades, Democrat leaders (and now this Administration’s ATF) have worked tirelessly to chip away at the Second Amendment.

These efforts arise from a fundamental rejection of the Second Amendment and a crass attempt to change the supreme law of the land through means other than the Article V amendment process required by the Constitution. In short, these efforts are dishonest and reprehensible efforts to circumvent the Constitution and invade the rights of the people.

Of course, the real cause of violent crime is the propensity of some to violate the law, and the true solution to crime is to arrest, prosecute, and convict, with reliable assurance, everyone guilty of violent crime.

Our Constitution demands that all be presumed innocent until convicted of a crime based on a trial before an impartial jury in an independent court of law. We may not presume, as the odious Red Flag laws do, that someone may commit a crime in the future based on our prejudices about their intentions.

Undeterred, Democrat leaders proceed with groupthink, categorizing all gun owners as potential criminals on the basis that they possess the means to commit crimes.

We, therefore, demand proof of criminal intent. In short, firearms are not inherently criminal. They are benign instruments of self-defense when used by the law-abiding, and they ensure protection of the innocent against criminals who threaten life. Consequently, as with all instruments of potential violence, a presumption of innocence exists in the first instance — but more so in the case of a firearm because the Bill of Rights recognizes the specific right to own it and use it in self-defense.

We should heed the words of George Washington, who, in his farewell address, spoke to future generations of the risks associated with giving the unconstitutional authority to usurp to those who profess a desire to achieve “good” ends. Washington said: “If in the opinion of the People, the distribution or modification of the Constitutional powers be in any particular wrong, let it be corrected by an amendment in the way which the Constitution designates. But let there be no change by usurpation; for though this, in one instance, may be the instrument of good, it is the customary weapon by which free governments are destroyed.”

White House reveals Covid emergency plan

The US president responded to a push in Congress by offering an expiration date

The White House announced on Monday that it wants to end the Covid-19 national emergency by May 11, though that would entail extending it first. The plan comes after Republicans in the House of Representatives announced a vote on ending the emergency, and as the World Health Organization said the public health restrictions ought to continue in some form.

The current national emergency declaration is set to expire on March 1, while the public health emergency (PHE) runs out on April 11. President Joe Biden intends to “extend the emergency declarations to May 11, and then end both emergencies on that date,” the Office of Management and Budget said in a statement quoted by multiple outlets. The PHE was last extended on January 11.

“Too late! Republicans already announced we’re declaring Covid is over and passing it through the House this week,”Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene, a Georgia Republican, tweeted in response. “The GOP is leading on this issue and Biden is trying to take credit.”

Meanwhile, the WHO published the conclusions of its emergency committee, from a meeting held on Friday, which said the pandemic “continues to constitute a public health emergency of international concern (PHEIC).”

WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus agreed with the committee that the pandemic “is probably at a transition point”and endorsed their recommendation for “alternative mechanisms to maintain the global and national focus” on the disease after the emergency ends.

The advisory body also urged the WHO and member states to “maintain multiple component surveillance systems” and continue pushing for vaccination, to the point of including it in “life-course immunization”schedules.

The Biden administration had tried to impose the shots, first to government employees and then to the private sector, but US courts have overruled most of the mandates as unconstitutional. Biden campaigned in 2020 on a promise to “shut down the virus.” As of Monday, the total number of US deaths attributed to Covid-19 stood at 1.11 million, up from 400,000 on the eve of his inauguration in January 2021.

White supremacy blamed for beating of black man by black police

The alleged killing of Tyre Nichols in Memphis stems from systemic racism, a Sky News guest has argued

The five police officers accused in the fatal beating of a 29-year-old black man earlier this month in Memphis, Tennessee, are black, and they worked for a black police chief. Nevertheless, a British political activist has concluded that white supremacy was the root cause of Tyre Nichols’ death.

“The vicious, brutal, unjustified, extrajudicial killing of Tyre Nichols is as a result of a police system that’s built on white supremacy,”London-born lawyer Shola Mos-Shogbamimu told Sky News in an interview on Monday. “White supremacy underpins the policing and criminal justice system, both in the United States and the United Kingdom. It shapes the culture that sees black people as less, treats black lives as disposable, and ensures that black lives don’t matter.”

As host Kay Burley began to point out that the officers charged with Nichols’ murder were black, Mos-Shogbamimu said, “I’m about to educate some people right now.” She likened the Nichols incident to the May 2020 death of George Floyd, which sparked violent Black Lives Matters protests across the US and Europe.

After Burley noted that Nichols’ mother said she hoped her son’s death would lead to change, the activist said, “Between George Floyd and today, nothing has changed. I very much doubt that anything will change until we eradicate the source of this problem, which is white supremacy.”

Those who suggest that an incident involving only black people wasn’t related to white racism are simply uneducated, Mos-Shogbamimu said. “There is a systemic reality of white supremacy that produces racist white cops and racial-gate-keeping black and brown cops.” She added, “Black and brown racial gate-keepers exist in policing, exist in our health care system, in our politics. They exist everywhere. Their point is to represent white supremacy.”

Some US commentators, such as CNN’s Van Jones and US Representative Maxwell Frost, a Florida Democrat, have made similar claims. RowVaughn Wells, the mother of Tyre Nichols, said the officers involved in her son’s murder “shamed” their communities. “I hate the fact that it was five black men that actually did this to another black man,” she told MSNBC.

The Sky News interview was quickly panned by critics. UK media personality Piers Morgan called the claims “unbelievable,” adding, “Race-baiting liars like Dr. Shola do enormous damage to the cause of racial equality.”
