Russian Foreign Ministry and Afghan officials said two Russian embassy staff and four Afghan civilians were killed in a suicide bomb blast that injured at least 10 others at the embassy in Kabul Monday.
Reuters said it was one of the first such attacks since the Taliban took control of the country last year, and that Russia is one of the few countries to have maintained its embassy there. The Islamic State took credit for the attack on its Telegram channel.
Taliban police said they shot the attacker before he reached the embassy gate. The Russian ministry said an "unknown militant set off an explosive device" near the entrance to the consular section.
While Russia doesn't officially recognize the Taliban government, a Taliban spokesperson said the government "has a close relationship with Russia; we will never let such negative actions of enemies have a negative impact on the relationship."

The United States does not need an FBI and doesn't not need police either.
The United States has a second Amendment and anybody who works for the government should be helping people attain those rights so they can protect themselves with their own second amendment.
Ever since cops took over and the FBI took over, America has gone down hill because all those agency's do is commit crimes against humanity by generating revenue and making money by projecting their crimes onto innocent people.
The FBI and Police are the ones committing crimes to generate the revenue, they are the one who always encroach on you FIRST to take your rights away through the deception of a kangaroo court due process.
If You can stop the incentive for revenue, then you will stop these corrupt institutions.
Corruption makes people hate the system, FBI, and the cops.

Federal judge hands Trump win, orders special master to review evidence seized from Mar-a-Lago
Court said the independent master can "manage assertions of privilege and … evaluate claims for return of property."
A federal judge on Monday handed Donald Trump a significant win, ordering a special master to review evidence seized by the FBI during its raid of the former president's Florida estate last month.
U.S. District Judge Aileen M. Cannon said the independent master can "review the seized property, manage assertions of privilege and make recommendations thereon, and evaluate claims for return of property."
Trump responded to the victory on his social media platform Truth Social.
"Remember, it takes courage and 'guts' to fight a totally corrupt Department of 'Justice' and the FBI," Trump's post read. "They are being pushed to do the wrong things by many sinister and evil outside sources. Until impartiality, wisdom, fairness, and courage are shown by them, our Country can never come back or recover — it will be reduced to being a Third World Nation!"
Cannon also halted the Justice Department's review of the materials seized from Mar-a-Lago "pending completion of the special master's review or further Court order."
The judge’s order also revealed a significant amount of over-collection of evidence by the FBI, including the former president’s medical and tax records.
"According to the Privilege Review Team's Report, the seized materials include medical documents, correspondence related to taxes, and accounting information," Cannon wrote.
Trump asked for the special master, claiming documents seized from him were covered by attorney client privilege and executive privilege. The FBI also acknowledged it overcollected evidence, including passports, attorney-client privilege records and even clothing.
A special master is typically a lawyer from outside the government who makes independent judgments on whether evidence has been properly seized.

Students are suing a Canadian university for requiring them to be vaccinated and boosted against COVID-19 after its provincial government dropped a COVID directive and discontinued its vaccination verification app.
Ontario's Western University drew critical attention for its three-dose requirement for students and employees last month. While it claimed that an anti-mandate protest could be "potentially dangerous," hundreds of demonstrators turned out with no problems.
The Democracy Fund, a Canadian charity that funds constitutional litigation, and former Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms lawyer Lisa Bildy, now in private practice, are suing the university on behalf of three students in the Ontario Superior Court of Justice.
They argue that Western has no legal basis to continue collecting vaccination records from campus community members after Ontario shuttered the Verify Ontario App in June.
The Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act prohibits institutional collection of personal information unless "expressly authorized by statute, used for the purposes of law enforcement or necessary to the proper administration of a lawfully authorized activity."
The application to the court is seeking an injunction against Western to stop its collection of private health information. The plaintiffs said the court will determine "preliminary scheduling issues" on Sept. 9.

“Two names were unredacted: President Trump’s and mine,” says Kash Patel. “The only thing they cared about was putting my name on blast again, after knowing that I had been threatened before because of their careless conduct on the Jan. 6 committee for doing the same exact thing.”
FBI agent Timothy Thibault recently announced he will “retire.” According to Kash Patel, Thibault is trying to avoid being investigated and prosecuted for his role in Russiagate and covering up the Hunter Biden laptop story.
“Mr. Thibault was on a trip to Prague with Bruce and Nellie Ohr as an agent for the FBI in early 2016, when we said the Russiagate investigation was getting going … In government, there are no coincidences,” says Kash Patel.
What is the real reason behind the DOJ’s opposition to appointing a special master to review and verify the Mar-a-Lago raid process? Were the seized Mar-a-Lago documents recently released to the public actually a staged FBI photo-op to incriminate former President Donald Trump?
“It’s like going into a murder scene and finding the gun in the garbage can and one of the murder suspects on the ground, and taking the gun and putting it in his hand and taking a photo with him pointing it at the person that’s dead … It’s literally ‘investigatory 101,’’ says Kash Patel.

Priti Patel was expected to be on the chopping block as incoming PM Liz Truss is due to appoint a new cabinet on Tuesday
Priti Patel resigned as UK home secretary on Monday following the announcement that Foreign Secretary Liz Truss has been chosen to lead the Conservative Party and will become the new prime minister.
In her resignation letter to caretaker PM Boris Johnson, Patel said it had been “a great honour and privilege” to serve the country and defended her record as home secretary.
Patel failed to back Truss during the Tory leadership contest with former finance minister Rishi Sunak, but had indicated that she would like to stay in her role under the next leader. By remaining neutral, Patel was reportedly hoping that whoever came out on top would keep her in her cabinet position.
However, reports last week suggested Patel would be among those getting the axe if Truss became prime minister. Truss is expected to announce a major cabinet reshuffle on Tuesday.
Patel drew the ire of the left in Britain over tough immigration policies during her tenure, but has also been accused of overseeing a spike in knife and gun crime domestically.
In her resignation later, she accused her political opponents of standing up “for the criminals, terrorists and people smugglers” as well as “those with no right to be in the UK.”
“We have never faltered and never stopped doing what is right to protect the public,” she wrote.
She congratulated Truss on being elected the new Conservative leader and said she would support her as prime minister, confirming, however, that she will continue to champion her causes “from the backbenches.”
Patel is widely expected to be replaced by Attorney General Suella Braverman.

Conservative leadership candidate Pierre Poilievre says he would ban cabinet ministers from attending Davos conference if chosen prime minister.
The World Economic Forum is getting antsy about being such a big topic of discussion in Canada and especially the criticisms from politicians such as Conservative leadership candidate Pierre Poilievre, a potential prime minister.
Managing Director Adrian Monck dismissed criticisms of the organization, particularly regarding its Great Reset Initiative, as disinformation and claimed they were based on antisemitic tropes in a CBC Radio interview.
"Canada should be talking about a lot of things right now. It shouldn't really be talking about the World Economic Forum based here in Geneva," he said.
The Great Reset is simply promoting the idea that governments should spend money on "long-term things that would aid climate change combating, that would help jobs re-skilling and all the kinds of bigger, long-term challenges," Monck said.
In its own editorial voice, CBC Radio claimed the critical appraisal of the Great Reset is a "conspiracy theory claiming that a cabal of global elites is planning to remake society to eliminate private property and impose an authoritarian global government," citing a 2016 essay imagining a better world without privacy or private property.
Monck claims WEF is the target of "state-sponsored disinformation actors" based on older claims about Jewish global domination. Canada has "vulnerability to disinformation" because it's "an open society."
Poilievre has pledged that as prime minister he would ban cabinet ministers from attending "that big fancy conference of billionaires with the World Economic Forum," and fire them if they did attend.
He told the CBC that the Davos meeting "is a hypocritical gathering of billionaires, multinationals and powerful politicians" who "lecture working class people to stop buying gasoline."
Monck claimed the organization is "not an advocate on behalf of any particular political viewpoint. We try and remain impartial and neutral."

DUBAI, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES —
The United States military said Monday it flew a pair of nuclear-capable B-52 long-distance bombers over the Middle East in a show of force, the latest such mission in the region as tensions remain high between Washington and Tehran.
The bombers took off from the Royal Air Force base at Fairford, England, and flew over the eastern Mediterranean, the Arabian Peninsula and the Red Sea Sunday in training missions together with Kuwaiti and Saudi warplanes, before departing the region.
“Threats to the U.S. and our partners will not go unanswered,” Lt. Gen. Alexus Grynkewich, the top U.S. Air Force officer in the Middle East said in a statement. “Missions like this ... showcase our ability to combine forces to deter and, if necessary, defeat our adversaries.”
Although the U.S. military’s Central Command did not mention Iran, Washington has frequently dispatched B-52 bombers to the region as hostilities simmered between the U.S. and Iran. The last such flyover was in June.
Iran's regional foe, Israel, also joined in the multinational mission. Though unacknowledged by the U.S., three Israeli F-16 fighter jets accompanied the American bombers “through Israel’s skies on their way to the (Persian) Gulf,” the Israeli military said, describing the country's cooperation with the U.S. military as key to “maintaining aerial security in Israel and the Middle East.”
Central Command was expanded last year to include Israel, a move seen to encourage regional cooperation against Iran under former President Donald Trump.
Trump's decision four years ago to withdraw the U.S. from Tehran's landmark nuclear deal with world powers sparked a series of escalating incidents in the region.
Even as diplomats now wrangle over a possible revival of the nuclear accord, Iran’s navy seized two American sea drones in the Red Sea last week.
That capture came just days after the country's paramilitary Revolutionary Guard towed another sea drone before releasing it as an American warship trailed it. The U.S. Navy has been deploying ultra-endurance aerial surveillance drones to monitor threats in the crucial waterways, which have witnessed repeated maritime attacks.
Tensions also remain high after recent confrontations between U.S. forces and Iranian-backed militias in the region. Washington last month carried out airstrikes in eastern Syria that targeted areas used by militias backed by Iran's Revolutionary Guard, prompting a response from Iranian-backed fighters.
U.S. and Iranian negotiators in Vienna have been attempting to revive the 2015 nuclear deal, which imposed sharp limits on Iran's atomic program in exchange for international sanctions relief. Last week, the State Department described Iran's latest negotiating position as “not constructive.”
Meanwhile, Iran now enriches uranium up to 60% purity — a level it never reached before that is a short, technical step away from 90%. While Iran long has maintained its program is peaceful, nonproliferation experts warn Tehran has enough 60%-enriched uranium to reprocess into fuel for at least one nuclear bomb.

A recent interview with a former senior pandemic advisor to the Trump administration provides a glimpse into a “deep state” apparatus which, with its extended arm of the mainstream media, wages war on the American people through institutionalized lies, and the ruthless destruction of individuals who stand in their way.
Dr. Paul Alexander, an epidemiologist with expertise in evidence-based medicine, was recruited in April 2020 from his role as a pandemic advisor for the World Health Organization (WHO), to assist the Trump administration in navigating the COVID-19 pandemic.
In his interview with the Brownstone Institute’s Jeffrey Tucker, the expert in evidence-based medicine recalled how he was watching President Donald Trump in a press conference with the White House Coronavirus Task Force, including Drs. Anthony Fauci and Deborah Birx, trying to understand what they were saying and “bristling at things, upset, screaming at the television,” and “knowing that something was very wrong.”

The person who called him related that due to many of his public statements and published papers, he was noticed by the Oval Office and they were looking to “expand the table” of consultants with “people that the president can trust.”
Alexander said that after some consideration, he accepted this offer, which made him an employee of Health and Human Services (HHS) reporting directly to the secretary and assistant secretary Michael Caputo as well as advising the White House and all of the managers and directors of the CDC, the FDA, NIH, and others, including all the members of the Coronavirus Task Force.
‘Word had come from the deep state… that they will not complete my hire”
After moving his family to Washington, D.C., and renting a condominium near the Capitol building for around $3,000 a month, with the understanding he would be reimbursed for his moving expenses as well, Alexander showed up for his first day of work at the HHS building to discover that the “deep state” had moved to – for all practical purposes – veto his hire.
“I was told very straightforward in meetings, by the highest-level people, that word had come from the deep state… that they will not complete my hire,” Alexander explained. “So, all of the paperwork that needs to be done for a government person to come here, or even as a Trump appointee, they will not move, [they will do] nothing [to complete it].”
The epidemiologist who graduated with one of his two master’s degrees from Oxford University defined the deep state as “the entrenched bureaucracy, those career public servants, those who think they run the country and own the country.”
Without such paperwork being completed, he would not only be deprived of a salary, but have no security clearances which are necessary to enter the various buildings, attend meetings, and to do his job.
Understanding that he was being targeted for his potential to provide and present thorough evidence negating the overall COVID narrative which the deep state was inflicting on the nation and even the world, including the ongoing disaster of lockdowns and the dangers of mask mandates, Alexander resolved to remain in Washington and allow his superiors to sort out his status and salary concerns and to do his best to serve the nation.

When OCCRP reported that former Afghan President Ashraf Ghani had granted access to a company, part-owned by his brother, the rights to buy illegally mined artisanal chromite across Afghanistan, the government was outraged.
Shortly after the investigation was published in April last year, Afghanistan’s Ministry of Mines and Petroleum released a statement denying it had signed any such deal, and calling the investigation’s findings “baseless” and “untrue.”
Now documents published by the very same ministry show the company started collecting chromite while Ghani was in office — and raise fresh questions about the former president’s knowledge of his brother’s involvement in the deal.
OCCRP’s previous reporting showed Ghani’s brother, Hashmat, held a hidden 20 percent stake in Southern Development, a subsidiary of a Virginia-based military contractor that in 2019 won the right to buy chromite from miners across Afghanistan. At the time, it was not clear how much the deal was worth, or whether the company had actually obtained any minerals.

Documents posted to the Afghan Ministry of Mines and Petroleum’s website show Southern Development received at least 1.1 million kilograms, or about 1,200 short tons, of chromite that had been confiscated from artisanal miners. They also show that it requested approval to obtain up to 200,000 tons of chromite, which would likely have been worth up to $120 million at the time.
Among the documents are minutes from a briefing for the former president, which state that Southern Development was 20 percent owned by unnamed “Afghans.”
Ikram Afzali, the executive director of Integrity Watch Afghanistan, an anti-corruption organization, said the documents raised questions about how much Ghani knew about his brother’s role in the company, and when.
“There’s no way he would approve a contract and not know the details of it,” he said.
The documents were made public shortly before the Taliban seized Kabul in August last year, although it is not clear exactly when they were posted online. Since then, Ashraf Ghani has fled to the United Arab Emirates, while his brother has pledged allegiance to the new Taliban regime. Southern Development’s website is now offline. According to the Taliban government’s Ministry of Mines, Southern Development no longer has any mineral contracts.

Thousands of customers across the Bay Area were without power Monday afternoon amid a blistering heat wave.
California’s grid operator on Monday declared an energy emergency amid soaring temps.
Californians were strongly urged to use less energy today between 5pm to 9pm to avoid rotating blackouts.
People were urged to turn off appliances, turn up their thermostats and avoid charging electric vehicles during the peak hours.
More than 20,000 customers in North Bay, East Bay and South Bay were without power Monday afternoon.
Temps in Sacramento reached 115 degrees today and now customers in the area are without power.

Pacific Gas & Electric is reporting massive power outages across the Bay Area as the region sees high temperatures throughout the day. The North Bay, East Bay, and South Bay have all been hit hard by outages Monday afternoon.
More than 20,000 customers across the Bay Area were without power. The largest outage is in Livermore, affecting more than 5,000 people. Below is a list of just some of the largest outages in the region:

Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm touted California’s ban on gas-powered cars even though the state issued a flex alert asking Californians not to charge their electric vehicles during a sweltering heatwave to avoid rolling blackouts.
This is what Joe Biden wants for all Americans, except for the elites.
The elites will be able to charge their EVs or still enjoy their gas-powered fleets while the peasants are unable to drive or travel.

Truth: The responsibility of managment is to increase shareholder value.
So, let's assume FORD did what is alleged. Ford was essentially trying to tie up the labor market at the expense of its shareholders. If successful, long term that would have crushed competition and "increased shareholder value". Short term (quarterly / annually) it would not.
