US Abortion Law Closely Aligns with China and North Korea Even After Roe v. Wade Decision

Joe Biden accused the United States of being an “outlier” in the international community following the Supreme Court’s decision overturning Roe v. Wade.

Of course, this was another Democrat lie.

The US, thanks to godless Democrats, has some of the most radical abortion regulations in the world today. Blue states are even enacting laws that allow abortion up to the birth of the baby! Some Democrats want babies killed even after birth.

The US was one of just 6 countries that allowed abortion on demand, where you could terminate a pregnancy at any point before Roe v. Wade was overturned.

In much of Western Europe, including Ireland and Germany, abortion procedures are banned in the majority of cases after 12 weeks. And Italy bans abortions after 90 days.

In June, FOX and Friends Weekend hosts Pete Hegseth and Will Cain discussed how US law resembles what you see in communist North Korea and China. And, still this is not radical enough for the Democrat party.

Video of a young boy spinning around a stripper pole at a ‘pride’ festival in Pennsylvania on July 30 was making the rounds on social media this week.

A shirtless man wearing tiny shorts helped the boy, who was dressed in a rainbow tutu, climb the stripper pole.

“Central PA Pride had a pole set up with an amazing instructor to assist. My kiddo is a natural!” the child’s guardian or parent wrote in the caption on the TikTok video.

The video was deleted by the original poster, but ‘Libs of TikTok’ posted the clip to Twitter.

The Democrat Governor of Pennsylvania put out a letter in support of the pride event.

South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol is under fire for opting not to cut his holiday short in order to meet face-to-face with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi on Thursday — with critics accusing him of not wanting to antagonize China following Pelosi’s visit to Taiwan.

The conservative leader’s official reason for not seeing the California Democrat during her brief visit to Seoul was that he had already scheduled time off for a pre-planned summer vacation, his office said.

But local media and other critics quickly slammed the South Korean leader, accusing Yoon of prioritizing strong ties with China — South Korea’s biggest trading partner.

Yoon opted to hold a 40-minute phone call with Pelosi, during which they discussed the US-South Korean alliance, foreign policy and other issues, his office said.

In the wake of the backlash, Yoon’s office insisted the president’s summer staycation plan had already been set up when Pelosi’s office reached out about a possible meeting roughly two weeks ago.

The South Korean leader opted to stay home, rest and plan for future political activities, his office said, according to the Washington Post.

Still, the criticism of Yoon only ramped up after it was revealed he attended a theater show in Seoul just before Pelosi’s plane touched down Wednesday night — and photos of the South Korean leader socializing with actors were later shared on social media.

“Pelosi is the number three politician in the US, and if this were in the past, the president or the foreign minister would have tried to hold talks with her, but I think that this time the government seems to have decided not to excessively politicize the issue and unnecessarily antagonize China,” Kim Heung-kyu, director of the US-China Policy Institute at Ajou University, told the Korea Times.

Pennsylvania Democrat switches parties after 34 years

Pennsylvania Democrats are leaving the party in droves, with almost 8,400 Democrats in just the western part of the state switching parties to become Republicans ahead of the 2022 midterm elections.

Pennsylvania mother Beth Ann Rosica joined “Fox & Friends First” to discuss the data and what issues she believes are prompting the mass exodus.

“I think the economy is huge, and I also think a lot of the school issues for parents across the state of Pennsylvania, it’s just been horrific watching what’s happened to our kids academically, socially, emotionally,” Rosica told co-host Carley Shimkus.

“All of these failed policies have just really resulted in academic losses.”

Rosica said many parents are “fed up and disgusted with what’s happened here over the last two and a half years” with surging inflation and gas prices.

According to the Pennsylvania Department of State,more than 39,000 Democrats have switched their party registration in 2022. In contrast, only around 12,000 voters have switched to the Democratic Party from the GOP.

“As a former Democrat for 34 years prior to the pandemic, I too thought that the Democratic Party was really focused on the people that they pretend to support,” Rosica said.

TAIPEI, Aug 6 (Reuters) - The deputy head of Taiwan defence ministry's research and development unit was found dead on Saturday morning in a hotel room, succumbing to a heart attack, according to the official Central News Agency.

Ou Yang Li-hsing, deputy head of the military-owned National Chung-Shan Institute of Science and Technology, had died in a hotel room in southern Taiwan, CNA reported.

Authorities said 57-year-old Ou Yang died of a heart attack and the hotel room showed no sign of any 'intrusion', CNA said. His family said he had a history of heart disease and had a cardiac stent, according to the report.

The NYPD is searching for a man who broke into a popular Brooklyn pizzeria last week, authorities said.

The burglar broke into Michelin-rated Roerta’s Pizzeria at 261 Moore Street in Bushwick with a crowbar around 4 a.m. on July 30, police said.

Cops said he attempted to open the cash register but was unable to steal anything. He damaged the restaurant doors while breaking in, according to police.

The suspect — a bald man who wore a gray shirt and gold necklace with a black backpack — was caught on surveillance camera peering through the pizzeria’s windows before trying to force the front door open with his hands, video released by NYPD shows.

In another photo released by police, the man is wearing a Yankees cap.

Roberta’s, which opened in 2008, has served celebrities and politicians, including Bill and Hillary Clinton and R&B star Beyonce.

In 2016, employees at the pizzeria received death threats after rumors spread online connecting the restaurant to the Pizzagate conspiracy theory about a child abuse ring headed by Hillary Clinton.

The US government is warning of critical vulnerabilities in its Emergency Alert System (EAS) systems that, if exploited, could enable intruders to send fake alerts out over television, radio, and cable networks.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) said in an advisory it was recently informed about the flaws in EAS encoder and decoder devices, adding that they were successfully exploited by Ken Pyle, a security researcher at cybersecurity firm CYBIR. There is a sense of urgency to the advisory because the exploit "may" be presented, with proof of concept code, at the DEF CON conference in Las Vegas next week.

"In short, the vulnerability is public knowledge and will be demonstrated to a large audience in the coming weeks," the agency wrote in the advisory, which was issued this week by DHS' Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).

The DHS is urging organizations that operate the EAS to ensure that their devices and supporting systems are updated with the most recent software versions and security patches, are protected by a firewall, and are monitored, with audit logs being regularly reviewed to ensure there is no unauthorized access.

The exact nature of the security flaws was not disclosed by Homeland Security. However, it's reported that the holes are present in the Monroe Electronics R189 One-Net DASDEC EAS device, and this can be remotely compromised to send out fake alerts, lock out legit users, and cause other damage.

EAS has far-reaching capabilities nationally and locally, though it's probably best known for the irritating regular tests that loudly interrupt TV and radio broadcasts. The service on the federal level is run by FEMA and its partners, including the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.

The system is designed to ensure that the president can address US citizens within 10 minutes during a national emergency and requires that radio and TV broadcasters, cable TV, wireless cable systems, satellite, and wireline operators ensure that can happen.

State and local officials also can use the system during emergencies, which can range from extreme weather events to AMBER alerts. The alerts are delivered via the Integrated Public Alert and Warning System (IPAWS).

Taiwan has issued a chilling assessment of China's explosive military tests held around the island this week. Taiwan said Saturday that China’s military drills appear to simulate an attack on the self-ruled island, after multiple Chinese warships and aircraft crossed the median line of the Taiwan Strait. Taiwan’s armed forces issued an alert, dispatched air and naval patrols around the island, and activated land-based missile systems in response to the Chinese exercises, Taiwan’s Ministry of National Defense said. The island's leadership also announced it detected four unmanned aerial vehicles flying in the vicinity of the offshore county of Kinmen on Friday night and fired warning flares in response.

Ukrainian-born Victoria Spartz refuses to stop her “bellicose” comments about Kiev

A US Ukrainian-born lawmaker’s unrelenting criticism of the Kiev authorities, including President Vladimir Zelensky, has frustrated many officials in Washington, CNN reported on Friday, adding that the White House had even arranged a special briefing to address her claims.

Victoria Spartz, a US Republican representative from the state of Indiana, and the first and only Ukrainian-born member of Congress, has repeatedly criticized the Kiev government amid its ongoing conflict with Russia. Although she has stated that she wants Ukraine to win and, in her telling, has visited the country six times since the outbreak of hostilities in late February, many of her colleagues on both sides of the aisle have grown weary of her “bellicose rhetoric,” the report says.

Spartz has been particularly vocal about corruption in Ukraine. US lawmakers and officials, however, worry that her jabs aimed at Kiev may undermine both Zelensky’s public image and sour US-Ukrainian relations while complicating the approval of new aid packages.

“We’ve all talked to her," one Republic lawmaker told the outlet. "It’s pissing people off. Because it hurts the cause.”

“I think there's an open question of why she’s so openly saying something that’s so clearly aligned with Russian talking points,” Democratic congresswoman Elissa Slotkin told CNN, adding that Spartz’s Ukrainian background gives a lot of weight to her words.

According to the report, the Biden administration has also stepped in. After the congresswoman requested a briefing on Ukraine, officials from the National Security Council and State Department provided one to her, the outlet’s sources say. During the nearly two-hour meeting, White House officials reportedly discussed her claims of improper behavior inside the Ukrainian government, either refuting them or arguing that there is insufficient information to support them.

Spartz also reportedly met with US Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Mark Milley to address corruption in Ukraine, as well as her concerns that the US-supplied weapons may find its way into the wrong hands. The US top military commander did not dismiss her reservations out of hand, according to CNN, since Washington has been urging Kiev to do more to fight corruption for a long time.

In a more general context, Milley, however, is said to have told Spartz that her worries “were overwrought.”

However, the sit-down with the top US general apparently seems to have done little to dispel Spartz’s misgivings, since a few days later she continued her attacks on one of Zelensky’s top aides, lodging accusations of “creating a per se dictatorship under the disguise of the ongoing war."

Ukrainian officials are not happy with the congresswoman either, with Ukrainian Foreign Ministry spokesman Oleg Nikolenko saying in early July that Spartz has been attempting to bring “Russian propaganda” into American politics. His comments came in response to the lawmaker’s open letter to US President Joe Biden that expressed doubts about the reliability of President Vladimir Zelensky’s chief of staff and called for a mechanism to track military assistance provided to Kiev.

“We advise Ms. Spartz to stop trying to earn extra political capital on baseless speculation around the topic of war in our country and the grief of Ukrainians. Especially cynical are manipulations about Ukraine and its leadership from a congresswoman of Ukrainian origin,” Nikolenko said at the time.

Egypt offered to mediate a ceasefire for a few hours between the Israeli occupation and the Palestinian resistance. But the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) responded by saying now was the time to respond to the Israeli occupation's crimes, sources in the Palestinian resistance told Al Mayadeen on Saturday.

"Egypt was told that the resistance's response would take an indefinite amount of time to be exacted," the sources added. "Coordination between Hamas and the PIJ is on high in terms of managing the battlefield."

After the strikes started, the Israeli occupation asked its settlers in the Gaza envelope to remain near shelters.

The Palestinian resistance factions started responding to the Israeli occupation's aggression on the Gaza Strip by launching salvoes of rockets toward the occupied Palestinian territories.

Al-Quds Brigades, PIJ's military wing, announced the martyrdom of Taiseer Al-Jaabari, a military commander in the northern Gaza Strip.

Former President Donald Trump has condemned House Speaker Nancy Pelosi for visiting Taiwan, calling her trip “China’s dream.” Trump previously argued that Pelosi’s visit, which led to large-scale Chinese military drills and a severing of some diplomatic links with the US, would “cause great friction and hatred.”

“Crazy Nancy Pelosi, what the hell? What was she doing in Taiwan?” Trump said during a campaign-style rally in Wisconsin on Friday. “She was China’s dream. She gave them an excuse. They’ve been looking for that excuse, she gave it. Everything she touches turns to you-know-what.”

Pelosi visited Taiwan on Tuesday, after repeated warnings from Beijing that doing so would have diplomatic and military consequences. Although Taiwan has governed itself since 1949, China still claims sovereignty over the island and considers high-level visits like Pelosi’s to be tacit endorsements of Taiwanese independence. The US has officially recognized Beijing’s claim over Taiwan since the 1970s under the One-China policy.

Following Pelosi’s visit, China launched large-scale military exercises, imposed trade restrictions on Taiwan, sanctioned Pelosi and her family, and cut communications with Washington on key issues like maritime security, transnational law enforcement, and climate change. As China’s military drills continued into the weekend, Chinese military officials are reportedly refusing to answer calls from their American counterparts.

While in office, Trump oversaw a pivoting of US foreign policy from the Middle East to China, with the Pentagon’s 2018 National Defense Strategy naming China as the top “strategic competitor,” and waged a trade war against Beijing for much of his term. When Covid-19 emerged from the Chinese city of Wuhan in 2020, Trump immediately branded it “the China virus,” and later accused China of “destroy[ing] the world” with the pathogen.

However, while more than half of the US Senate’s 50 Republicans praised Pelosi for following through with her visit, Trump argued beforehand that it was a bad idea.

“Why is Nancy Pelosi getting involved with China and Taiwan other than to make trouble and more money, possibly involving insider trading and information for her cheatin’ husband?” he asked in the run-up to the trip, referring to her husband’s purchase of semiconductor stocks ahead of a successful vote by Congress on a bill to subsidize the industry in the US.

However, Paul Pelosi sold this stock at a loss before the vote, with a spokesman saying the decision to sell was made to combat “misinformation” linking the purchase to the vote. Pelosi has denied ever sharing insider information with her husband.

Pelosi also met with the chairman of the world’s largest semiconductor manufacturer while in Taiwan, as the company’s planned Arizona factory looks set to benefit from the US subsidies, once President Joe Biden signs the bill into law.

Adismal 12% of Americans believe that the gargantuan Democratic-sponsored "Inflation Reduction Act" will actually reduce inflation, according to a new poll released this week.

The Economist/YouGov poll, which queried 1,500 U.S. adults, asked respondents their feelings on the $369 billion "Inflation Reduction Act" currently making its way through Congress this week.

Just 12% of respondents said the bill would "decrease inflation," while 36% expressed a belief that it would actually increase it. Twenty-three percent said the bill would do nothing either way, while the remaining 29% were unsure.

A bare 51% majority, meanwhile, said they actually supported the bill — which includes heavy investments in green energy and a tax hike on large corporations — while nearly 1/3 were opposed, and the remaining 17% were unsure.

The bill is set to be debated this weekend.

A disruption of titanium exports could spell trouble for plane manufacturers

Europe’s aerospace industry would be in danger if sanctions disrupt the supply of Russian titanium, the Wall Street Journal reported on Friday, citing the top management of Airbus.

Russia’s VSMPO-Avisma is the world’s largest supplier of the metal and was the main trading partner for the US-based Boeing and Europe’s Airbus.

While Boeing halted purchases of Russian titanium from VSMPO, Airbus has continued buying it through unsanctioned entities and has lobbied to keep the firm off the sanctions list.

“The ones we would sanction would be ourselves. If they [VSMPO] stop delivering to worldwide global aerospace, it’s the end of the story. So it’s a typical lose-lose,” the WSJ quoted Airbus CEO Guillaume Faury as saying.

VSMPO meets about half of Airbus’ titanium needs. The metal is widely used in plane making because it is light, strong, and resistant to corrosion.

Before the sanctions, Boeing received about a third of its titanium from Russia. Apart from Japan, US allies don’t produce aircraft-quality metal. The Department of Commerce has repeatedly described the current situation as a threat to national security.

After the start of Moscow’s military operation in Ukraine, plane manufacturers said they were looking for alternative sources of titanium, but according to the WSJ, this diversification did not happen.

CDC admits goof on COVID vax link to heart inflammation in feds' second recent FOIA botch

Contrary to open records response, CDC pointed to myocarditis risk from vaccines as early as June 2021.

Federal public health bureaucracies are having a bad stretch in response to Freedom of Information Act requests related to COVID-19, first accidentally unmasking a National Institutes of Health official who deleted Chinese-submitted coronavirus data and now providing false information about the CDC's knowledge of heart inflammation following vaccination.

The CDC admitted its goof after The Epoch Times reported that its FOIA response denied the agency had any reports from the "Myopericarditis abstraction team" in the Vaccine Adverse Events Reporting System between April 2 and Oct. 2, 2021.

During that period, "no abstractions were performed for myocarditis: an association between myocarditis and mRNA COVID-19 vaccination was not known at that time," FOIA Officer Roger Andoh told reporter Zachary Stieber July 29. "Likewise, we have no reports during that period."

CDC researchers highlighted the vaccine-heart inflammation link in a June 2021 "editorial" in the Journal of the American Medical Association Cardiology, citing the journal's new published studies from Duke University Medical Center and the U.S. Military Health System and an earlier Pediatrics study led by Oregon Health and Science University researchers.

"During the clinical evaluations of these patients, alternative etiologies [causes] for myocarditis were not detected," including COVID infection itself, the CDC researchers wrote. The typical presentation was "[a]cute onset of chest pain 3 to 5 days after vaccine administration, usually after a second dose," a rare occurrence with other vaccines and "causally linked only with smallpox immunization."

The editorial noted the CDC advisory committee met days earlier to discuss the observed post-vaccination myocarditis and discuss "a benefit-risk assessment of COVID-19 mRNA vaccination programs in adolescents and young adults." The American Medical Association came out against mandates earlier that month, saying COVID vaccines should first receive "full approval."

An agency spokeswoman conceded it needed to correct the FOIA response. Irish Farmers Outraged Over 25% Emissions Reduction Plan That Will Lead to Herd Culling

Irish farmers and organizations in the agriculture industry are outraged over the government’s plan to cut agriculture emissions by 25%, all while claiming it won’t lead to herd culling.

The Irish government had previously been debating what the cut on emissions from the agriculture industry would be, finally settling on a 25% reduction below 2018 levels by 2030.

“Today, the government has agreed on a pathway to a 51% cut in economy-wide emissions by 2030. The emissions ceiling for agriculture has been set at a level requiring a 25% reduction by 2030. This falls within the target range assigned to the sector under the Climate Action Plan 2021. I am pleased to have reached this conclusion as a way of offering certainty to our farm families and their businesses over the next decade,” said Irish Agriculture Minister Charlie McConalogue in a press release.

Many farmers had been expecting a cap on emissions but said they were preparing for something more moderate. They’re now arguing that culling their herds, which would sabotage their own businesses in the process, will be the only way they can meet the lofty standards of the Irish government.

“The target that we’ve been working towards has been 18%, maybe 22% but not 25%,” said Cork farmer Alan Jagoe. “We’re producing food on our farms. We’re not taking fossil fuels off the ground; we are not mining; we are producing food that we all eat. That has been lost in this debate.”

Jagoe further stated that the policy was totally “unrealistic.”

“We had a pathway and a direction, and I cannot overemphasize enough that the work it would take to get to an 18% target would be absolutely massive,” Jagoe continued. “It’s a fundamental change in the way we farm, the way we apply our fertilizers, the way we apply our slurry. This is a fundamental policy shift to get to 18%, and we were prepared to work towards it, but now we have been given 25%.”

According to the Irish Farmers Journal, Irish Creamery Milk Suppliers Association president Pat McCormack is also baffled by the policy. He has stated that de-herding is already happening due to previous environmental regulations and that this will be exacerbated by the new policy, leading to a forced culling of herds and making family businesses less sustainable financially.

‘No justice’: Thousands of NYC child sex abuse cases stalled in courts

Child sex abuse victims say the wheels of justice have ground to a near halt in New York City, where 5,000 lawsuits brought under a state law meant to give them justice have languished for years.

“I feel I’m being abused all over again,” said Thomas Beneventine, 69, who sued under the Child Victim’s Act nearly three years ago.

Beneventine was 14 when he was assaulted approximately 25 times in a six-month period by Rev. Herbert D’Argenio at St. Theresa of the Infant Jesus Church in the Bronx, according to court papers. D’Argenio died in 1996.

His is one of 5,370 cases filed in the five boroughs under the 2019 legislation, which opened a two-year window for victims to bring decades-old abuse claims to court. The window was extended a year because of the pandemic.

But three years on, the cases — some of which each involve dozens of victims — have barely moved through the legal system.

“I’ve had clients who died,” said attorney Michael Dowd, who has about 200 CVA cases in the five boroughs. “This is nuts. Nothing’s happening. No cases are moving.”

“By the time it gets to my case I don’t know if I’ll be around,” lamented Beneventine, a retired Catholic school teacher and former Christian brother who says increasing health problems have him fearing he’ll die before his case is heard.

“It’s about justice and no justice is being done. We want our voices to be heard,” Beneventine said.

“It has been a slow process,” said lawyer Jeff Herman, who has about 900 CVA cases in New York City alone.

Advocates acknowledge the impact of the pandemic, which created a backlog across all New York courts that are still being dealt with.

But they say few judges have been assigned to city CVA cases, creating the opportunity for aggressive defendants such as the Catholic Church, which has been sued by hundreds of people, to seek endless legal delays.

“My frustration is the defendants for the most part have just not been forthcoming with discovery and just taking advantage of the number of cases in the system to delay everything,” Herman said, referring to the process by which two sides in a lawsuit exchange evidence. “It shouldn’t be their job to gum it up. There is the obligation to operate in good faith.”

Beneventine says it was galling to hear Cardinal Timothy Dolan insist to parishioners that the church was treating victims “with compassion and respect.”

The Hollywood whistleblower and veteran screenwriter, who has worked in high levels of show business for over 30 years, had to conceal his identity during his appearance on “In The Trenches With Teddy Daniels,” going only by the name of “Mike” and not showing his face. Throughout the interview, Mike offered an inside look at the demented underbelly of America’s entertainment industry, long accused by many of being a cesspit of pedophilia.

Well-known perverts like Hollywood director and convicted sex offender Harvey Weinstein are far from the only sexual predators in Hollywood “with powerful political connections,” Mike told the program’s America First host, Teddy Daniels, remarking that there are “a lot more cockroaches under those floorboards” and that the entire sick world of Hollywood links back into the left’s “woke” ideology.

These are the exact same people, Mike said, who gave Hollywood director Roman Polansky an Oscar award and a standing ovation after he’d fled the US over charges of raping a child.

“There’s a lot of right-wing broadcasters who like to talk about these cloak and dagger clandestine meetings and back rooms, but it’s not actually like that. It’s in the open,” Mike said. “They already got away with it publicly and they’re all in on it,” he went on, telling viewers and listeners that Hollywood pedophilia is far from a mere conspiracy theory.

Mike, the Hollywood whistleblower, then went into further detail describing a situation on the set of “The Departed” movie.

During filming, Mike says, one of the film’s stars started throwing a temper tantrum or, as Mike described it, started “losing his mind.” As the star actor threw his fit, Mike says he began naming names, blasting out information pertaining to Hollywood pedophilia as the cameras still rolled.

Amidst the chaos, “finally, the guy storms off,” Mike said.

“The cinematographer goes to the camera, he turns off the camera, he takes out the SIM card, he gives me the SIM card and says ‘get rid of this.'”

“I’m telling you, Teddy, I have the tape. I have the footage!” Mike went on, telling Daniels that he’s been archiving that footage and more like it for the better part of a decade.

“It was that situation that made me go ‘there is something going on,'” said Mike.

According to his statements during his interview with Teddy Daniels, the footage captured on the set of “The Departed,” as well as other footage pointing to the perverted and woke underbelly of Hollywood, will be made available when Mike releases his upcoming documentary.

Titled “The Great Unawakening,” the film will offer further details surrounding Hollywood pedophilia and wokism, plus interviews with conservative actors blackballed by the entertainment industry. As revealed in Mike’s interview, the film will even feature a cameo appearance by Teddy Daniels himself.

“This is the real deal,” Daniels said of Mike and his upcoming documentary film, saying that the information Mike is set to reveal could put him in “real danger.”

“The guy’s got the goods on a lot of people,” says Daniels.

Conservative lawmakers pushed for them to be introduced.

French lawmakers have approved a plan to launch a biometric health card. The project was pushed as part of the financial aid package to address the cost-of-living crisis.

France has a health card called Carte Vitale, which allows those registered in the country’s health system to get reimbursements for medical costs. The payments are made automatically because the card is linked to the user’s bank account.

The biometric Carte Vitale has strong support from conservative lawmakers and they made it a condition for them to pass the financial aid package. Supporters of the new Carte Vitale argue that it will help combat welfare fraud.

Explaining how it would work, center-right MP Thibault Bazin said the card will have a chip that would contain “physical characteristics of the insured, such as their fingerprints” to enable identity verification.

Biometrics ensure that only the cardholder can use the card and the chip would allow for instant deactivation once the card is reported stolen.

Those who oppose the biometric Carte Vitale that the process will be lengthy, costly, and another threat to privacy.

Nine fires break out overnight in foothills, may have been set on purpose

BOISE, Idaho — Nine fires broke out overnight, and some of them may have been set on purpose.

The fires started in the early hours of Friday morning, according to Boise District BLM Fire Information Officer Brandon Hampton.

There is no set timeline for when investigators will have a good idea of how these fires started, or if these fires are related. However, early information concerns the Ada County Sherriff's Office (ACSO).
