What is the Young Global Leaders program? Started in 1992 by Klaus Schwab,

founder and head of the World Economic Forum, initially called the Global Leaders of

Tomorrow, and becoming the Forum of Young Global Leaders in 2004, it is essentially a

school for people groomed to make a difference in the world, aligned with the World

Economic Forum's vision. From the Young Global Leaders' About page:

We identify and champion ways to scale-up, amplify and accelerate their

impact, to make more of a difference in their communities and beyond.

The names in these lists were collected from a number of sources which I have then

verified as having been in the program on either the Young Global Leaders website, the

World Economic Forum's website, or the WikiSpooks website. (Neither the WEF nor the

YGL websites currently publish full lists from earlier than 2016.) The names are grouped

(see the Table of Contents) and within the groups are sorted by country in some

instances and by company or association in others or just by name. All names are only

listed once in spite of many résumés fitting into multiple categories.

Ukraine government officials are sounding the alarm alleging that Belarus is preparing its own military operation for a large-scale invasion in direct support of the Russian invasion. So far Belarus has only participated in the offensive by allowing Russia to attack from its territory, beginning when the operation kicked off on Feb.24.

In a Friday report, The Jerusalem Post is citing Ukrainian authorities who "believe that Putin ordered the military to provoke an air raid by Russian planes on the borders of Belarus and Ukraine, and Lukashenko - to begin preparations for an offensive by the Belarusian armed forces by 9 p.m. on March 11." Currently official Ukrainian government statements are alleging that Russia attempted a false flag operation along the border in order to justify Belarusian forces' involvement…

"According to Ukrainian intelligence, in Moscow, the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko and Russian President Vladimir Putin each made a phone call," the report says of the 'planning phase' of the alleged border incident. UK media is also reporting the bizarre claims and alleged incident.

Purpose of the study :

Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever (CCHF) is an acute fever characterized by bleeding and organ failure and can cause severe outbreaks in humans. The causative agent of CCHF is the Crimean-Congo virus, which is transmitted by ticks. We will collect documentation on the prevalence of CCHF in different regions of Ukraine.

The purpose of this study is to improve the process of diagnosing the CCHF virus in order to improve biosafety and biosecurity.

In addition, diagnostics and related surveillance should be improved, as well as biosafety and biosecurity activities should be improved by setting standards and training laboratory personnel for handling Hanta virus at risk group 3. The subtype Hantaan, Puumala and/or Dobrava-Belgrade virus is transmitted by rodents and can cause severe damage to the kidneys or respiratory tract depending on the subtype and, in some cases, death.

Project duration: January 1, 2018 - December 31, 2019

B Memorandum

According to which the Bernhard Nocht Institute of Tropical Medicine and the State Institution "Center for Public Health of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine" undertake to cooperate on Ukrainian health programs within the funded project, to strengthen relations between the parties and build laboratory capacity and related skills.

The PHC will be responsible for providing 1,000 serum samples from different regions of Ukraine. Testing of these samples will be carried out in Ukraine upon completion of the training process, which should be carried out partly by the Ukrainian side and partly at the Bernhard Nocht Institute for Tropical Medicine.

2. The administration of the Institute will create an official account for disbursements to the project and will be responsible for distributing the funds identified in the project application. All payments must be supported by documentary evidence, which must be provided annually to the Institute and the donor upon request.

3. The institute will be responsible for paying all costs associated with the training of PHC staff at the Bernhard Nocht Institute for Tropical Medicine. The Institute also provides the necessary equipment and tools foreseen by the project.

Mother accused of rape of her own child under the age of 12

A mother charged last with knowing allowing her daughter, who was less than 12 years old, to have sex with grown men is now facing new charges after police she has admitted that she was also involved in sexual activity with the child.

According to a release from the Madisonville Police Department, Brittany Duvall, 28 of Nortonville, has been charged with incest with a child under the age of 12, first-degree-rape of a child under the age of 12 and sodomy of a child under the age of 12.

Police say that Duvall admitted during interviews that she had engaged in sexual intercourse and sodomy of her child on at least 10 different occasions in their home.

Originally Duvall was charged with unlawful transaction with a minor after admitting that she had witnessed her daughter having sexual intercourse or oral sex with Joshua R. Looney, 31 of Madisonville, on at least nine occasions. Looney, who police say admitted to the crime, is charge with rape and sodomy of a child under the age of 12.

Two days after those original arrests, arrested two other family members for being involved in sexual relationships with the child.

Ronnie Lynn Duvall, 47 of Nortonville, listed as “family” of the victim, was arrested and charged on Tuesday with rape of a victim under the age of 12 and sodomy of a victim under the age of 12.

According to the release from MPD, Ronnie Duvall is accused of having sexual intercourse with the child on at least 10 occasions and oral sex on at least 10 other occasions. Police say he admitted to the accusations upon being taken into custody. He is charged with rape of a victim under the age of 12 and sodomy of a victim under the age of 12.

Michael A. Gibbs, 37 of Madisonville, listed as the victims father, is accused to having sexual intercourse with the child, as well as providing her with illegal controlled substances. He is also accused of being in possession of matter that visually depicts a sexual act by a minor. He is charged with rape-no force, unlawful transaction with a minor, possession of matter depicting a sexual act of a minor, rape of victim under 12 and incest.

The state's Liberal leader recalled the disturbing incident on Friday, saying it occurred when he left school at 16 and one of his former teachers invited him over for a beer.

The candid comments were prompted after he was asked by the press about the behaviour of some of his Liberal Party members, who groaned while the state's upcoming Commission of Inquiry into child sexual abuse was mentioned at Question Time.

The state's opposition leader was recounting the suffering of a Tasmanian sexual abuse survivor at the time.

Later the survivor complained about the murmurs made and the premier responded by saying he had great empathy because he 'had walked in their shoes'.

A third world war will “destroy our civilization” unless Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping are “removed from power” warns billionaire Democrat megadonor George Soros.

“After receiving a green light from Chinese President Xi Jinping, Russian President Vladimir Putin launched his war in Ukraine in an effort to reclaim the old Russian empire,” Soros wrote in an op-ed published by Project Syndicate on Friday.

“But both leaders appear to have misjudged the situation, raising the prospect of a global catastrophe – unless they are removed from power,” he wrote.

Putin has “gone literally mad,” cautioned the chairman of Soros Fund Management and the Open Society Foundations.

“He has decided to punish Ukraine for standing up to him, and he appears to be acting without any constraint. He is throwing the entire Russian army into the battle and ignoring all the rules of war, not least by indiscriminately bombing the civilian population.”

The Pentagon has deployed at least 12,000 troops to NATO member nations to aid in the Ukraine-Russia conflict, despite Americans overwhelmingly opposing U.S. involvement.

Joe Biden is also reportedly gearing up to deploy US Border Patrol agents from their mission at the U.S.-Mexico border to send them overseas “to assist” those fleeing from Ukraine.

In addition to deploying troops, the Biden administration has sent $350 million in American taxpayer dollars to aid Ukraine, bringing “the total security assistance the United States has committed to Ukraine over the past year to more than $1 billion,” Secretary of State Antony Blinken announced on February 26.

According to an Associated Press-NORC poll, just 26 percent of Americans want the U.S. to have a “major role” in the Russia-Ukraine conflict, while 72 percent said the U.S. should have a “minor role” or “no role” at all.

The U.S. and its allies ought to have as much involvement in the conflict as possible, Soros contends.

“The United States and the European Union are both sending defensive weapons to Ukraine, and there are efforts to buy Russian-made MIG fighters that Ukrainian pilots know how to fly. These could make all the difference,” he wrote. “We can only hope that Putin and Xi will be removed from power before they can destroy our civilization.”

After Russia invaded Ukraine on February 24, Soros urged the U.S. to “do whatever is in their power” to back Ukraine in a series of tweets.

“It is important that both the transatlantic alliance (the United States, Canada, the European Union, and the United Kingdom) but also other nations do whatever is in their power to support Ukraine in its time of existential threat,” he wrote.

"What high-containment biological (high BSL) laboratories exist in your country? What are the facilities’ main goals and priorities?"

"There are over 4,000 registered microbiological laboratories in Ukraine, but only 2 of them have a permit to work with microorganisms of the first pathogenic group, 402 laboratories have a permit to work with the microorganisms of the second pathogenic group, and all others are allowed to work only with microorganisms of the third and forth pathogenic groups. Here it is necessary to note that the classification of pathogenic organisms and therefore classification of the laboratories in Ukraine differs from the international one. It is inverted (i.e., in Ukraine “one” is the highest risk and “four” is the lowest risk) and also has some additional differences. That is why when speaking about high-containment laboratories according to Ukraine’s official classification we need to consider the laboratories that have a permit to work with the microorganisms of the first and the second pathogenic groups. At the same time it is not possible to say that a laboratory that has a permit to work with microorganisms of the first pathogenic group in Ukraine is equivalent to an international BSL-4 lab or that one working with microorganisms of the second pathogenic group is equivalent to a BSL-3 lab.

According to the available data, there are no laboratories in Ukraine that fulfill BSL-4 requirements. One of the laboratories that has a permit to work with the microorganisms of the first pathogenic group did, however, recently undergo an international audit as a BSL-3 laboratory and received a preliminary positive evaluation. This is one of the laboratories of the SI (State Institution) “Ukrainian I. I. Mechnikov Anti-Plague Research Institute” of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine (Odessa), which is responsible for the identification of especially dangerous biological pathogens. This laboratory was reconstructed and technically updated up to the BSL-3 level through a cooperative agreement between the United States Department of Defense and the Ministry of Health of Ukraine that started in 2005."
