Sting operation in Anderson ends with two arrests for sex trafficking
ANDERSON, Calif. — Two men were arrested after Anderson Police Department carried out a sting operation targeting sex traffickers. The operation was set up at an Anderson motel with Anderson police and a multi-agency human trafficking operation team. During this operation, known prostitution websites were utilized to solicit commercial sex acts from providers that were likely under the control of pimps or traffickers. The operation also provided services to the victims of human trafficking.
Saturday around 5 p.m. police arrested 28-year-old Ravanaur Gohleston from Yuba City. Police said he arrived at the motel in a vehicle along with two young women who were there to engage in prostitution. One woman was 17 years old from Hayward and the other was 22 years old from Yuba City.
Police said it appeared Gohleston was pimping both of the women and using forms of control specifically on the 17-year-old. They were detained and questioned leading to Gohleston's arrest for pimping and pandering. Additionally, Gohleston was arrested for the human trafficking of a minor, which could carry a life sentence if convicted.
The 17-year-old female was transported to the Children’s Legacy Center (CLC), where she was offered services and met with their forensic interviewer. Child Family Services responded to the CLC where they waited with the juvenile until she was released to the custody of her mother. The adult female was offered resources and later released from the scene.
A second arrest happened around 10 p.m. Saturday when police said 25-year-old Jonathan Lee of Stockton arrived with a 24-year-old woman who was also from Stockton. Police arrested Lee for pimping and pandering, as well as violating parole. The woman was offered resources and released from the scene.
The agencies that participated in this operation were the Shasta County District Attorney's Office, Shasta County Sheriff's Office, Shasta County Probation Department, Shasta County Children’s Services, Children's Legacy Center, and Federal Allied Agencies.

The supreme court has taken a knee… let me explain why it is so evident:
In a 6-3 ruling today the U.S. Supreme Court has refused to grant writ to hear the Pennsylvania election challenge cases [pdf here – begin page 25]. While the majority of media will likely celebrate this decision; and while the court has refused to hear the case(s) based on their position the issues are “moot”; there appears to be an underlying motive not being discussed.
It only takes four justices to agree to hear a case and grant a writ of certiorari. In October 2020 the issues with the Pennsylvania court overruling the Pennsylvania legislature was of such importance four justices agreed to block the lower court order. However, four months later the majority claim the arguments within the case are “moot”; & the election is over.
In essence the Robert’s Court is saying they will allow any/all methods and manipulations of election law within states, and only look to the state outcome. This is very troublesome.
Why would Justice Kavanaugh reverse his position? In October the state action to supersede the Pennsylvania legislature was a hazard. In February it is moot.
While it is never a good idea to look into the background of the court for motives, one cannot easily dismiss that Roberts, Kavanaugh and Barrett may have voted against the writ because they were concerned such a decision would cause the senate to start a process of “packing the court.” Retaining the current number of justices within the court is more likely if the justices avoid triggering the consequences from the previous threat.
Justices’ Thomas, Alito and Gorsuch remained consistent with their earlier decisions to hear the cases and settle the disputes. Barrett never weighed in on the October injunction, but Kavanaugh has completely reversed his position with his denial of the writ.

Joe Biden’s Attorney General pick Judge Merrick Garland pledged to the Senate Judiciary Committee on Monday that he will prosecute white supremacists who stormed the US Capitol on January 6th.

In an opening statement released ahead of his Monday testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee, Garland pledged to focus the Justice Department’s prosecutorial efforts on “white supremacist” rioters.
“If confirmed, I will supervise the prosecution of white supremacists and others who stormed the Capitol on January 6 — a heinous attack that sought to disrupt a cornerstone of our democracy: the peaceful transfer of power to a newly elected government,” Garland’s opening statement reads. “That critical work is but a part of the broad scope of the Department’s responsibilities.”
In keeping with that line of thinking, Garland said he planned to talk about an “urgent” mission to ensure all Americans’ civil rights were being upheld following riots that occurred in the wake of the George Floyd incident in May.
“That mission remains urgent because we do not yet have equal justice,” Garland’s opening statement reads. “Communities of color and other minorities still face discrimination in housing, education, employment, and the criminal justice system; and bear the brunt of the harm caused by pandemic, pollution, and climate change.”

New Delhi: In a shocking incident, four family members of former BJP state president Madan Lal Saini allegedly died by suicide in Sikar district of Rajasthan on Sunday. The deceased were identified as Hanuman Prasad Saini, his wife Tara and their two daughters Anju and Pooja. As per the preliminary investigation, the family members were under mental distress after the couple lost their teenage son last year.

Just wanted to note that I watch live cam of the WH daily from am to late night since Jan 20th.
I have not seen a military person outside the front door. There is a guard that walks back and forth but does not dress or walk like a military person.
I posted earlier about the wooden valentines that were not really outside on the WH front lawn not far from the small fountain on Valentines Day, after they staged very early am c-span video with Biden, Jill and dogs. They didn't walk back into the WH, rather just down the drive that appeared to go under the WH but filming stopped before they were close to the WH.
And this past Sat, around 7pm, 3-4 people where moving large items on wheels out the WH door (could see a bit inside).

Merrick Garland Grilled on Ending Death Penalty for Domestic Terrorists
Attorney General nominee Merrick Garland struggled Monday with questions about the death penalty during his confirmation hearing in the Senate.
Senator Tom Cotton (R-AR) questioned Garland about the death penalty, noting Biden’s publicly stated support for a death penalty moratorium.
Cotton noted that Garland worked on the case against domestic terrorist and white supremacist Timothy McVeigh for the bombing of a government building in Oklahoma City and asked if he believed it was a mistake to level the death penalty.
Garland confirmed he supported the death penalty at that time.
“I don’t have any regret but I have developed concerns about the death penalty in the twenty-some years since then,” he said.
Garland expressed his concern about the racial disparities in death penalty cases.
Cotton continued his line of questioning, raising the high-profile prosecution of Dylann Roof for the massacre of nine black Americans at a Charleston church.
“Do you believe that it was a mistake to seek the death penalty for Dylann Roof for murdering nine African-Americans as they worshiped in church?” Cotton asked.
Garland said he would not speak about a pending case.
Roof was sentenced to death in January 2017 and awaits execution.
When Cotton asked Garland if he would ever seek the death penalty if confirmed as Attorney General, he replied, “I think it does depend on what policy is adopted going forward.”
Biden campaigned for president on ending the death penalty, which, if fully realized, could mean that Roof may not be executed.
Over three dozen Democrat lawmakers wrote to Biden shortly after he was inaugurated asking him to commute the death sentences for criminals on death row.
“Commuting the death sentences of those on death row and ensuring that each person is provided with an adequate and unique re-sentencing process is a crucial first step in remedying this grave injustice,” the letter read.

Amazon has a long history of fighting union drives among its employees, including hiring private investigators and high-octane corporate analysts to predict where and by whom such efforts will take root.
In its latest attempt to frustrate the potential founding of a labor union in an Alabama facility, Amazon is reportedly offering workers huge severance checks if they’ll quit before the union vote.
According to PayDay Report, the huge shipping company sent out emails to the 5,800 workers at its Bessemer, Alabama facility on Saturday night offering “resignation bonuses” to workers who quit. If a worker has worked there for two peak seasons, they would get $2,000 to walk; for three seasons, $3,000.
The outlet further noted that some workers are being told they might be hired back after the union drive is over, and those workers hired to replace the ones who quit are expected to be politically vetted and solidly anti-union.
However, Amazon’s effort could backfire, as it’s likely the bonuses will be seen as interference in the election process, resulting in the election being thrown out if the organizers lose.
University of Wyoming Labor Law Professor Mike Duff, a former prosecutor for the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB), told Payday Report that the NLRB “routinely finds violations for ‘conferring benefits’ to induce employees not to vote for a union during the ‘critical period’ between the time the election petition is filed and the election is held.”
The workers are voting between February 8 and March 29 on whether or not the Retail, Wholesale & Department Store Union (RWDSU) would represent them. Joining a labor union would give the employees new leverage to improve working conditions and pay in a company notorious for overworking its staff.
Organizing in a Black Working-Class Town
A working-class, majority-Black town of 27,000, the factory town just outside of Birmingham is named after Henry Bessemer, inventor of the world-changing process that made steel forging easy and cheap enough to drive the second industrial revolution.
Bessemer was once home to a vibrant iron mining and smelting industry, and was home to a factory for Pullman rail cars, but after those industries declined in the 1980s, the city fell into a deep economic depression and now has a poverty rate of nearly 30%. Amazon built a huge 800,000-square-foot fulfillment center there that opened in March 2020, bringing nearly 6,000 jobs. However, under the huge pressures of the COVID-19 pandemic, the center’s workers came together to push for what could be the first union in an Amazon facility.
Over the weekend, a massive solidarity effort was organized across the US to show support for the union drive, with events at Amazon facilities in more than 30 states. Locally, the Southern Workers Assembly activist network organized protests in front of grocery stores in the Whole Foods chain, which was bought by Amazon in 2017.
Earlier this month, the RWDSU also organized protests across Alabama, which Liberation News reported received the support of US Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) and drew explicit links between the right of union workers to organize and the Black Lives Matter movement.

The town's sole helipad at The Mar-a-Lago Club was demolished today, nearly a month after former President Donald Trump left office.

"The council gave permission for the helipad as an added safety measure when Mr. Trump became president," Town Council President Maggie Zeidman said Tuesday. "Former President Trump agreed to remove the helipad once out of office, and that is what he is doing.''
A permit was pulled Feb. 2 for demolition.
There was never a question that the helipad would remain in place after Trump's presidency ended, Town Manager Kirk Blouin said earlier this month. He noted that representatives for the club had inquired about permits in January.
“It seems to have been more controversial in media reports than it is in actual practice,” Blouin said. “They never made a request to keep it.”
Lake Park-based contractor Pyramid Builders of Palm Beach was hired for the demolition job, according to the town building permit. The cost will run an estimated $15,000.
The helipad was completed in February 2017 and first used in April that year by a Trump Corporate helicopter.

Chinese Spies Hijack NSA Hacking Tools To Use Against The US
The NSA (and its army of expert hackers) has once again been hoist upon its own petard. And this time, it's not a shadowy group of hackers using aliases like "the Shadow Brokers" that's stealing the agency's code. It's the Chinese government, and its massive security apparatus.
According to Reuters, Chinese spies managed to hijack code first developed by the NSA to support the agency's hacking operations, the latest example of how malicious software developed by the US federal government has been used against the US, or its allies. Chinese spies reportedly first used the code developed by the NSA to support their own operations.
The revelations were first shared by a team of Israeli researchers called Check Point Software Technologies, which issued a report noting that some features in a piece of China-linked malware it calls "Jian" were so similar they could only have been stolen from a cache of NSA hacking tools that was leaked to the web back in 2017. Some of these tools were later repurposed for the "WannaCry" corporate ransomware hacks which happened that year. And authorities have never been clear about what, exactly, may have been stolen.
Apparently, the US is only just learning the worst-case scenario: many of these weapons have fallen into the hands of Beijing.
The "Jian" exploit was described by the Israelis as "a Chinese replica" of NSA-made US tools.
Tel Aviv-based Check Point Software Technologies issued a report noting that some features in a piece of China-linked malware it dubs “Jian” were so similar they could only have been stolen from some of the National Security Agency break-in tools leaked to the internet in 2017.
Yaniv Balmas, Checkpoint’s head of research, called Jian “kind of a copycat, a Chinese replica.”

earlier this month we spoke with Dr. David Strang M.D., the Belknap County Republican Committee State Committee Member, for the New Hampshire GOP.
David told The Gateway Pundit that the Republican candidates in Windham had 6% of their total votes removed by the Dominion-owned voting machines.
According to Dr. Strang, these same Dominion-owned machines are used in 85% of the towns in New Hampshire.
What makes the New Hampshire 2020 results even more suspect:
** Republicans flipped the New Hampshire Senate from 14-10 Democrat to 14-10 Republican in 2020.
** Republicans flipped the New Hampshire House from 230-156 majority Democrat to 213-187 Republican majority in 2020!
** Yet, Joe Biden who was 4th in Dem primary and Kamala Harris, who did not make it to the Dem primary, won the state 52.7 to 45.4 to Trump.
These results are IMPOSSIBLE.
What Democrats did was skim 6% off each GOP candidate in each race where there was a recount.

Last week the New Hampshire state senate voted 24-0 to force the state to perform an audit of the Windham, New Hampshire state representative races on November 3, 2020.
