Early Morning Jogger Finds Dead Woman at Seattle Park

SEATTLE — Detectives are investigating after a woman was found dead Thursday morning at Seward Park.

At approximately 5:30 a.m., police responded to a 911 call from a passing jogger who said there was an unresponsive subject near Lake Washington Boulevard South and South Orcas Street. Officers arrived and discovered a deceased female. The cause of death is still under investigation.

Crime Scene Investigators have responded and are processing the scene for evidence.

Homicide detectives are now attempting to locate any witnesses in this case.

From our earlier report — Footage obtained by the Gateway Pundit from militant Black Lives Matter and Antifa activist John Sullivan’s Discord server shows the so-called “civil rights activist” reveling inside the U.S. Capitol on Jan.6 as he damaged federal property.

Sullivan has maintained in multiple interviews that he regularly attends protests only to record what’s going on, but did not actively partake in the insurgence in Washington.

“It’s just recording, solely, and not being active in it,” he told Fox News last week.

After the Capitol was stormed John Sullivan appeared with CNN photojournalist Jade Sacker on CNN that night. CNN did not identify Sullivan as an Antifa-BLM protest leader. They mention Insurgence, USA but not that it is a radical leftist organization. They do not mention that Sullivan was arrested in Utah during unrest in 2020. CNN did not reveal that the two were working together inside the US Capitol. Jade Sacker has done work for NPR, CNN, NBC and other liberal outlets.

Impeachment 2.0 started yesterday. While it appears voters in key states would prefer that Congress move on to deal with pressing issues, Democrats aren’t listening. The left has been talking about impeaching President Trump since before he was elected. In May of 2019, Representative Al Green (D-Texas) told America why it was important: “I’m concerned if we don’t impeach this president, he will get re-elected.”

This was echoed again yesterday by Representative James Clyburn. In his speech on the House floor, he said:

If we do not hold him [President Trump] accountable and remove him from power a future attempt could very well be successful. This president must be impeached and convicted, and he must be prevented from ever attempting to seize power again.

President Trump is 74 years old. While he appears vigorous and healthy, the idea that he is seriously considering a presidential run at age 78 is a stretch. Rather, this seems to serve more as a warning to any outsider candidate who may run in the future. The full weight of our institutions, the corporate media, and countless levers in the culture, including Big Tech, will be leveraged against you.

Victor Davis Hanson appeared on Tucker Carlson Tonight last night after the vote to impeach passed the House. He made several important points. First, he called out the hypocrisy of Democrats in using incitement as a charge. He noted the rhetoric of some Democrat leaders in the recent past:

There Is No Future For A Liz Cheney GOP

The most successful aspect of election efforts in 2020 is indisputable: It’s Kevin McCarthy and the House Republicans. That’s not something you can argue against. Look at the scoreboard. In an election where all the smart people said they would lose seats, they didn’t just gain, they gained significantly. They did this through smart recruiting, wise expenditures, and by hitting the right political tone in a very challenging cycle. Mitch McConnell and the Senate leadership team did not do this. Ultimately, their people were proven wrong in their predictions, both in anticipating disaster in November and then in projecting arrogant confidence that the 600 vs. 2,000 thing wouldn’t hurt them in the Georgia runoffs. I was told their ground game was excellent, and it would do the job. Instead, both candidates lost by enough that you can’t even blame it on a Trump beef with the secretary of state or, even more ludicrously — looking at you, AEI folks — signing the NDAA. Liz Cheney was not a part of this uniquely successful cycle. She was in no way a meaningful part of this. Electoral politics, recruitment, fundraising — it is not really her thing. But she claimed credit for it at the time nonetheless, so leadership House folks who know the way Liz can be just rolled their eyes and moved on.

As a member of leadership, when Cheney’s stance in favor of impeaching President Trump was announced, it was trumpeted widely by the media. Along with the New York Times report about McConnell’s positioning on the issue, it looked for a moment like something meant to cause a stampede. But the buffalo saw that cliff, and they didn’t like the look of it. Cheney ultimately would convince just nine other members in voting for this rushed impeachment, a joke of an act with no hearings, no investigation, no process whatsoever. Cheney branded her vote as a response to the greatest constitutional crisis since the Civil War. I don’t know why she didn’t workshop that line beforehand, or if everyone in her office is just too scared to laugh. But now this ineffectual impeachment, which looks to be so irrelevant it barely trended over a renewed focus on TikTok sea shanties, is the core of her contribution to the early days of the post-Trump GOP. McConnell, having realized he did not have the votes to achieve some politically pointless rejection of Trump, has said he will not have an emergency session after all. (Read Chris Bedford here on 4 Reasons McConnell’s Impeachment Blunder Is Doomed To Failure.) Cheney has been left on her own, and that’s a pretty big matzo ball hanging out there. A mere 42 members are needed to force her to stand for a leadership election again.

Whether she sticks around or is rejected by a conference already fed up with her anti-incumbent donations, Cheney is now persona non grata. The pre-election fantasy — Politico compared her to Margaret Thatcher! — is dashed. Where she would lead, precious few would follow. There was a group of people who used to run things in the Republican Party, and she made the mistake of listening to them instead of listening to the people. Steve Hayes, who now runs the Dispatch, concludes his piece arguing for impeachment by saying the party doesn’t deserve to survive. Well, as someone who’s frequently favored positions with similarly lopsided outcomes, it’s time to deal with reality: It’s 197-10 for the party he wants in the one branch of the GOP that blew the doors off in this election. That 10 doesn’t look like a national conservative coalition that works to me.

Supporters of President Donald Trump, including those who did not vote for him, had the best champion of ‘the little guy and gal’ in the Oval Office in our lifetimes.

And that’s the main reason why the political and media establishment hate him so much: It’s us they really hate, and they were incensed that the American people would ‘dare’ to make him our president — a political outsider who was such a threat to their protected, elitist world they cheated just to beat him this election cycle.

Why Was the CIA Spying on American Citizens?

It is illegal, or at least on paper it is, for the CIA to spy on American citizens on American soil. So why was the CIA spying on Mr. Edward Butowsky and/or Matt Couch? If you have read Joe Hoft’s excellent piece (see here) on the latest trials and travails of Ty Clevenger, an intrepid attorney battling the Deep State, who has been fighting for more than three years to secure the release of damning documents exposing the Russia hoax and sedition by the Obama Administration, you know he is forcing the FBI to cough it up.

But the latest response also contained this bombshell–the CIA was spying on his clients as well. Ty’s latest account of this new info dump from the US Department of Justice is posted at LawFlog. Here are some key snippets:

In The Transparency Project v. Department of Justice, et al., my client asked to see records indicating whether the CIA or its Directorate of Digital Innovation, its contractors, etc. inserted Russian “fingerprints” into the metadata of the emails that were released publicly. (You can review the entire request by clicking here and reading Paragraph 11).

In a joint report filed today, the CIA informed the court that it intends to assert a Glomar response to the request, i.e., that it “cannot confirm or deny” the existence of such records. . . . [In other words], The Central Intelligence Agency will neither confirm nor deny that it fabricated the Russian “fingerprints” in Democratic National Committee emails published in 2016 by Wikileaks and “Guccifer 2.0.”, and the FBI implicitly acknowledged today that it never reviewed the contents of DNC employee Seth Rich’s laptop despite gaining custody of the laptop after his murder.

Full disclosure–Mr. Clevenger is a friend of mine. He writes in his article that he reached out to me and I made some phone calls to retired friends who held senior positions at the CIA. My friends and I agreed that a GLOMAR response to the basic question, Did you spy on Mr. Butowsky and/or Mr. Couch was a tacit admission-yes!

Ty explains this point clearly and succinctly:

Allow me to illustrate the point. If I asked the CIA for intercepted emails from the president of another country, the CIA would rightly issue a Glomar response, because it would not want to confirm or deny that it has been spying on the foreign president. That’s what Glomar is for, because the CIA is in the business of secretly spying on foreign presidents, officials, agents, etc.

My client’s request, on the other hand, is more akin to asking the CIA for records showing whether it helped Lee Harvey Oswald assassinate President John F. Kennedy. We would expect the CIA to declare that it has no such records because it would never do such a thing.

Why would the CIA spy on Mr. Butowsky, for example. Ed Butowsky was brought into the Seth Rich saga in December 2016 by Ellen Ratner, the sister-in-law of Julian Assange’s former lawyer. Ellen spoke with Julian in November 2016 and asked Mr. Butowsky to reach out to the parents of Seth Rich and get them some help investigating who murdered their son. It should come as no surprise that the CIA, the NSA and Britain’s GCHQ were monitoring every communication going in and out of Wikileaks, including all communications of all personnel working at or associated with Wikileaks. We know this thanks to the evidence and writings of Mr. Edward Snowden. Once Snowden made his escape to Russia with the help of Wikileaks, Wikileaks became a number one intelligence target. Both the United States and the United Kingdom had ample cause to ensure that no new secrets leaked out of Wiki and caught them unawares. In light of the comprehensive monitoring of all Wiki communications, I believe the intel folks knew exactly the contents of Ratner’s chat with Assange, which ultimately led them to Ed (i.e, Ellen Ratner talked to Julian and then talked to Ed to relay a request from Julian to help the Rich family).

Now that Donald Trump has finally released FBI documents on Russiagate (I do not know if there are any CIA documents in the pile), we shall see what the FBI had to say about Mr. Rich. Too bad the President waited so long to do this. If he had forced the issue last year the plot to steal the 2020 election might have been disrupted.

Other allegations from the affidavit include to “willfully and knowingly (D) utter loud, threatening, or abusive language, or engage in disorderly or disruptive conduct, at any place in the Grounds or in any of the Capitol Buildings with the intent to impede, disrupt, or disturb the orderly conduct of a session of Congress or either House of Congress, or the orderly conduct in that building of a hearing before, or any deliberations of, a committee of Congress or either House of Congress; (E) obstruct, or impede passage through or within, the Grounds or any of the Capitol Buildings; and (G) parade, demonstrate, or picket in any of the Capitol Buildings.”

‘They act as a Spanish Inquisition’: Mexico’s president vows to lead international push against social media censorship

Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador has pledged to spearhead a global campaign against internet censorship, insisting platforms cannot act as a “Spanish Inquisition” or stifle free speech using safety as a “pretext.”

Obrador – perhaps better known by his initials, AMLO – said his administration would contact other governments to find common ground on the issue on Thursday, adding that he would raise the matter at the next international G20 summit.

“I can tell you that at the first G20 meeting we have, I am going to make a proposal on this issue,” he said. “Yes, social media should not be used to incite violence and all that, but this cannot be used as a pretext to suspend freedom of expression.”

How can a company act as if it was all powerful, omnipotent, as a sort of Spanish Inquisition on what is expressed?

Foreign Relations Secretary Marcelo Ebrard elaborated, saying “Given that Mexico, through our president, has spoken out, we immediately made contact with others who think the same.” He noted that so far, they have heard back from officials in Germany, France, the European Union, Latin America, Africa and Southeast Asia, though did not specify each nation.

“The president’s orders are to make contact with all of them, share this concern and work on coming up with a joint proposal. We will see what is proposed,” Ebrard continued.

While AMLO gave few details about how Mexico would push back against increasingly aggressive censorship campaigns across social media, he has argued that corporations should not decide who has a voice online. Earlier this week, the president invited his Facebook followers to migrate to Telegram, whose moderation policies are seen as less strict than other major platforms.

Obrador is not the first top official around the world to voice concerns about recent social media purges – namely Twitter’s decision to boot US President Donald Trump from the site for good – with officials in Russia, Poland and Germany, among others, also speaking out.

12hr Covid curfews announced for all of France for at least 15 days, PM says pressure on hospitals is 'high'

The entirety of France will be placed under a 6pm-6am curfew for at least 15 days from Saturday in a bid to ease the pressure of Covid-19 on the country's health system, Prime Minister Jean Castex announced on Thursday.

The 12-hour curfews are currently already in place for 25 of mainland France's 95 administrative areas – known as departements – but they will now be extended to the rest of the country, which is currently under an 8pm curfew.

“While the resumption of the epidemic was concentrated at the end of December in certain departments, viral circulation now concerns the entire country,” the PM said during a televised news conference.

“The pressure on our hospitals remains stable, but is at a high level,” Castex added, explaining that the incidence rate of the virus among the population is now at an average of 50 cases per 100,000 people.

Castex also announced other health measures, including that from Monday all arrivals from non-EU countries must provide a negative PCR test, and then isolate for seven days immediately after arrival.

All indoor sports and activities will be banned, but French schools can remain open for a combination of distance learning and face-to-face teaching, though without any mixing of pupils between classes or in canteens.

“If we see a strong deterioration of the epidemic in coming days, we would have to decide, without delay, on a new lockdown,” Castex added, in a possible hint of stronger measures to come if the situation worsens.

More than 69,000 people have died from Covid-19 in France, the world's seventh highest death toll, while the country has been averaging around 18,000 new infections every day for the past week.

Biden inauguration rehearsal is postponed due to security threats

The president-elect’s Amtrak trip to Washington, planned for Monday, has also been canceled.

A rehearsal for Joe Biden’s inauguration scheduled for Sunday has been postponed because of security concerns, according to two people with knowledge of the decision.

After last week’s riots in Washington, security officials have locked down the Capitol complex, and the National Guard is expected to deploy more than 20,000 troops to assist with security. Top lawmakers and Homeland Security officials have been alarmed about the rising threats around the inauguration, and the FBI warned this weekend of armed protests in all 50 states.

The rehearsal is now planned for Monday, the people said.

The president-elect’s team has also canceled an Amtrak trip from Wilmington to Washington planned for Monday because of heightened security concerns.

The presidential inaugural committee declined to comment on the changes, and the Secret Service and the Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies did not respond to requests for comment.

Biden’s team has also brought on Lisa Monaco, a former Homeland Security adviser in the Obama administration, to serve as a temporary adviser on security around the inauguration. Monaco, whom Biden nominated to serve as deputy attorney general, has paused her activities related to the nomination as she works with the transition on security matters.

“Ms. Monaco will assist the President-elect and work with the incoming national security advisor, the incoming homeland security advisor, and current security and law enforcement officials, including with the United States Secret Service on their plans for the inauguration,” a spokesperson for the transition said in a statement. “Given the existing threats, Ms. Monaco’s temporary role will be focused solely on the period leading up to the inauguration.”

Biden received a briefing on Wednesday about the threats from the FBI, the Secret Service and national security officials.

“In the week since the attack on Congress by a mob that included domestic terrorists and violent extremists,” Biden’s transition team said in a statement, “the nation has continued to learn more about the threat to our democracy and about the potential for additional violence in the coming days, both in the National Capital Region and in cities across the country. This is a challenge that the President-elect and his team take incredibly seriously.”

John Sullivan, a noted leftist leader from Utah, stormed the US Capitol with fellow activists on Wednesday. John Sullivan is a Black Lives Matter goon from Utah who was flown into DC during the planned “Stop the Steal” rally. In August John Sullivan threatened to “rip President Trump from the White House” during violence in Washington DC. Sullivan was flown to DC for the protests. At the time John Sullivan was described as a Black Lives Matter leader from Utah.

A bail fund promoted by Vice President-elect Kamala Harris that reportedly helped bail out several accused and convicted criminals — at least one with a markedly violent history — is refusing to share the records of the individuals it helped spring from jail in the midst of last year's deadly Black Lives Matter-led riots in Minnesota. In June 2020, as violent unrest swept the country in the wake of Minneapolis resident George Floyd's death at the hands of city police, Harris — then two months away from being chosen as Joe Biden's running mate — tweeted out a link to the Minnesota Freedom Fund, which claims to "pa[y] criminal bail and immigration bonds for those who cannot otherwise afford to." Yet the bail fund was mired in controversy over the summer due to reports that it had helped spring from jail multiple alleged violent criminals, including at least one individual with multiple rape convictions on his rap sheet. A review by the Washington Post found that MFF helped bail out of jail one individual who allegedly shot at police officers during riots in Minnesota. Local Fox affiliate KMSP, meanwhile, found that among those who received bail money from the MFF were also "a woman accused of killing a friend [and] a twice convicted sex offender."

Official bail records hard to locate Yet a full accounting of the individuals bailed out by the fund last year was not available as of press time. A representative of the Minnesota Freedom Fund told Just the News via email this week that the records of those it has helped bail out "are available via the Hennepin and Ramsey County jail rosters." The group did not respond to repeated inquiries asking if it kept those records in its own files. The records within the jail rosters, meanwhile, are not easily accessible. Tom Lyden, a reporter with KMSP who originally broke that station's coverage of the controversies surrounding the bail fund, said that the documentation "is difficult to find and it is not available online." "You must go through items in the file, which you can only do at a live terminal," he said.

"In the rundown of court filings, it is usually listed as an 'Other,' along with many other items, so you have to go into each file to find it," Lyden said. "If there is such a document," he added. "In some cases, the defendant may get to keep the money, and in other cases I've been told it wasn't necessary. So, the [request form] is one indicator, but not the only one." Lyden said that, in the course of the station's investigations, the fund "confirmed a couple of the cases we suspected they were involved with, but could not find the necessary documentation." The group's unwillingness to provide records of whom it helps bail out of prison, coupled with the remoteness and relative inaccessibility of those records within local jail files, has rendered opaque a critical accountability metric at a time when the U.S. is grappling with the effects of politically inspired violence. Apart from the accused criminals it has sprung from prison, the Minnesota Freedom Fund last year was embroiled in additional, albeit comparatively minor, scandal in which its executive director, Tonja Honsey, was accused of impersonating a Native American woman. The group was founded in 2016 by University of Minnesota student Simon Cecil. The group's tight resources originally limited it to cash bails below $1,000. Last year, in the case of the individual accused of shooting at the police, it was able to afford a $75,000 bail charge.

BERLIN (AP) — Chancellor Angela Merkel's center-right party is choosing a new leader this weekend, a decision that will help shape German voters' choice of her successor at the helm of the European Union's biggest economy after her 16-year tenure.

Merkel, now 66, has steered Germany, and Europe, through a series of crises since she took office in 2005. But she said more than two years ago that she won't seek a fifth term as chancellor.

Now her Christian Democratic Union party is seeking its second new leader since she quit that role in 2018. That person will either run for chancellor in Germany's Sept. 26 election or have a big say in who does run.

Current leader Annegret Kramp-Karrenbauer announced her resignation last February after failing to impose her authority on the party. A decision on her successor was delayed repeatedly by the coronavirus pandemic. Eventually, the CDU decided to hold an online convention this weekend.

Delegates from Germany's strongest party can choose Saturday between three main candidates who differ markedly, at least in style. There's no clear favorite.

Friedrich Merz, 65, would mark a break from the Merkel era. The party has dominated the center ground, ending military conscription, enabling if not embracing same-sex marriage, and allowing in large numbers of migrants, among other things.

He has a more traditionally conservative and pro-business image, and recently wrote in Der Spiegel magazine that “the CDU must, whether it wants to or not, step out from the shadow of Angela Merkel.”

Merz has said he wants to give a “political home” to disillusioned conservatives, but won't move “one millimeter” toward the far-right Alternative for Germany party.

This is Merz's second bid for the party leadership after he lost narrowly last time to Kramp-Karrenbauer, considered Merkel's preferred candidate. He led the center-right group in parliament from 2000 to 2002, when Merkel pushed him out of that job, and left parliament in 2009 — later practicing as a lawyer and heading the supervisory board of investment manager BlackRock's German branch.

Merz has sought to portray his decade out of politics as a strength but lacks government experience. Armin Laschet, the governor of Germany's most populous state, North Rhine-Westphalia, offers that.

Laschet, 59, is a more liberal figure, elected as governor in 2017 in a traditionally center-left stronghold, and viewed as likely to continue Merkel's centrist approach. In a debate among the candidates last week, he said: “What I bring is government experience, the leadership of a big state, balancing different interests and — this perhaps doesn't hurt for a CDU leader — having won an election.”

The third contender, Norbert Roettgen, lost the 2012 state election in North Rhine-Westphalia. Merkel subsequently fired him as Germany's environment minister. Roettgen, 55, says he has learned from that experience. He has proclaimed himself a candidate for the “modern center” who emphasizes issues such as fighting climate change.

Roettgen, now chairman of parliament's foreign affairs committee, was long considered the outsider but surveys have showed him gaining ground among CDU supporters. He suggested last week he would be a palatable alternative to backers of both Merz and Laschet.

“I am not in one camp,” he said. “I stand for everyone, and I think those who don't vote for me will be able to live with me and will accept me if I am elected.”

Laschet is the only candidate who had to make big decisions in the coronavirus pandemic. That's both a strength and a weakness: it has raised his profile, but he has garnered mixed reviews, notably as a vocal advocate of loosening restrictions after the pandemic's first phase.

The CDU as a whole has benefited from the coronavirus crisis, taking a strong poll lead into an unusually uncertain election year thanks to good reviews for Merkel's pandemic leadership. Whether any of these candidates could take those ratings through to the election is uncertain. Saturday's decision won't be the final word on the center-right candidate for chancellor.

That's partly because the CDU is part of the Union bloc, which also includes its sister party, the Bavaria-only Christian Social Union. The two parties will decide together who runs for Merkel's job, though no timetable has been set.

Delivering in his final days on one of his last unfulfilled promises, President Trump is declassifying a massive trove of FBI documents showing the Russia collusion story was leaked in the final weeks of the 2016 election in an effort to counteract Hillary Clinton's email scandal. The memos to be released as early as Friday include FBI interviews and human source evaluation reports for two of the main informants in the Russia case, former MI6 agent Christopher Steele and academic Stefan Halper. The president authorized the release of a foot-high stack of internal FBI and DOJ documents that detail significant flaws in the investigation and provide a detailed timeline of when the FBI first realized the Steele dossier was problematic, multiple government officials told Just the News. Among the bombshell revelations is an admission by Steele that he violated his confidential human source agreement with the FBI and leaked information from his dossier to the news media in the final weeks of the election because he wanted to counteract new revelations in the Hillary Clinton email scandal that were hurting her election efforts. The former foreign intelligence officer made the confession in a fall 2017 interview with agents.

Steele, who was hired by Clinton's campaign law firm to compile anti-Trump dossiers attempting to link Trump to Russian influence, told agents he had two clients at the time — Clinton and the FBI — and chose the interests of the Democratic candidate over the bureau in leaking. Steele told the bureau that then-FBI Director James Comey's decision to reopen the Clinton email probe in fall 2016 triggered him to leak his dossier details in what he described as a taking-the-gloves-off moment. The FBI interview summary makes clear that Steele, a British citizen, was allegiant to Clinton, did not like Trump and believed a Trump presidency would be negative for his homeland and thus made a decision to meddle in the U.S. election by leaking information to the news media. The leaks, which led to Steele's termination as an FBI informant, have been known for more than a year, but his motivation for leaking was hidden in the classified documents. His admission that the Russia collusion narrative, later debunked by Special Counsel Robert Mueller, was injected into the public as a means of counteracting Clinton's email scandal corroborates other information obtained by the CIA.

Late last year, the Trump administration declassified evidence showing the CIA warned President Obama and the FBI that it had intercepted intelligence indicating Hillary Clinton had personally ordered up an operation to "vilify" Trump with a false story of collusion as a means of distracting from the negative publicity of her email scandal. Multiple investigations have concluded that much of Steele's dossier was debunked or never corroborated by the FBI and likely contained Russian disinformation planted with his sources. The probes found the FBI wrongly continued to rely on the allegations of Russia collusion to target Trump campaign figures for investigation and failed to disclose major flaws in their investigations to the courts that had authorized surveillance warrants. The investigation also found that Steele's primary source of Russian intel later disowned or distanced himself from the claims attributed to him in the Steele dossier and that U.S. intelligence had concerns the source was tied to Russian intelligence. The soon-to-be-released records also expose a tantalizing connection between Steele, his primary source and one of the Democrats' key impeachment witnesses in the Ukraine scandal, former Trump National Security Council Russia expert Fiona Hill. Steele divulged to the FBI that he was introduced by Hill to his primary sub-source of information for his anti-Trump dossier and that he later told Hill that the source had provided information for his now infamous memos. The documents also will settle a long-debated question in Washington about whether the FBI's tactics amounted to spying on the Trump campaign.

Tasking instructions the FBI gave to Halper, an academic who long worked as an FBI informant, make clear he was instructed to infiltrate the Trump campaign by posing as someone who wanted to work for the GOP nominee and then targeting campaign advisers to find out what they knew about Trump or his campaign's ties to Russia. Halper was specifically instructed by the FBI to focus on campaign advisers Sam Clovis, George Papadopoulos and Carter Page, in some cases recording some of their conversations, the records are expected to show.

The FBI and news media is exaggerating and playing politics.

In the wake of the Capitol Hill melee last week, the news media has been breathlessly reporting on the possibility — citing an intelligence bulletin from the FBI — that there will be widespread armed protests in all 50 states on and leading up to Inauguration Day. If the FBI is to be believed, there is a serious, deliverable plot in motion that involves armed insurrectionists simultaneously storming each and every state capitol. The hysteria has reached new heights this week, with prominent pundits, politicians, reporters, and other personalities claiming that a wave of pro-Trump right wing violence is right around the corner. Security is being ramped up in capital cities across America, with many states announcing that they are bringing in National Guard units to prepare for the chaos that they’ve been told will meet them on or before the 20th.

The FBI, which has not gone on the record publicly to speak about this potential massive national security issue, has decided to communicate it to the public by leaking this bulletin to select individuals in the news media. As shown above, it has been the source for blaring, intense headlines across the legacy media landscape. The details within this “internal FBI bulletin” have now been shared by a variety of news sites such as CNN, Yahoo News, ABC News and other establishment outlets.

CNN reports on the FBI intel report: The FBI has received information indicating "armed protests" are being planned at all 50 state capitols and the US Capitol in Washington, DC in the days leading up to President-elect Joe Biden's inauguration on January 20.

ABC reported on the memo: Starting this week and running through at least Inauguration Day, armed protests are being planned at all 50 state capitols and at the U.S. Capitol.

Yahoo News reported: The [FBI] had been made aware of armed groups “storming” local, state, and federal courthouses and buildings if President Donald Trump is removed from office before Biden is sworn in on Jan. 20.

After digging deeper into these claims, I found that they are not only incredibly exaggerated and don’t hold up to much scrutiny, but even more disturbingly, seem to be part of an information operation similar to what has embroiled the FBI in many controversies over the past several years. The reported group behind these planned protests is the Boogaloo movement, which can be understood as a loosely connected contingent of activists, some of which have extremist viewpoints across the political spectrum. Unlike, say, the far-left Antifa organization, the Boogaloo movement has never shown the capacity to organize in every state. There is hardly anything “pro-Trump” about the organization, whose supporters routinely mock the president and his supporters. In fact, the group’s website (which I will not link to in order to protect this platform) claims that its supporters will display “much more restraint and professionalism than the Trumpers in DC.” The FBI bulletin’s evidence for the mass mobilization campaign is unknown, but it appears to be sourced to this flyer, which is on the Boogaloo aggregator website. There hasn’t been a single additional right-of-center group that I am aware of that has announced that they will participate in these “armed marches.” It seems that this claimed “threat” is exclusive to the Boogaloo movement. What also remains completely unreported is that the group itself appears to have canceled the D.C. rally. “Plans to have a demonstration in Washington DC are cancelled and will not move forward,” a memo posted Sunday on the website reads. It’s difficult to estimate the exact number of supporters for the Boogaloo movement. Its main Facebook page, which has since been shut down, had accumulated around 30,000 followers. Additionally, Facebook has removed hundreds, not thousands, of accounts associated with the group on their platform.

Many Arkansans have raised concerns about irregularities in November’s presidential election. I share many of those concerns. Several states rushed through changes to their election laws. These changes included sending unsolicited mail-in ballots, relaxing standards for voting by mail, and removing electoral safeguards, such as signature-matching or postal-marking requirements. That’s why I have introduced legislation to create an electoral commission to examine the 2020 election and propose reforms to restore confidence in the security and integrity of our future elections.

Nonetheless, our Founding Fathers entrusted the electoral process chiefly to individual states—not Congress. They entrusted presidential elections to the people, by way of the Electoral College—not Congress. They entrusted the adjudication of electoral disputes to the courts—not Congress. Under the Constitution and federal law, Congress’s power is limited to counting the certified electoral votes submitted by the states. Congress carried out this duty on January 6.

Unfortunately, some elected representatives misunderstood these constitutional principles and gave many Americans false hopes about what could or should happen when Congress gathered to count the electoral votes. Objecting to the certified electoral votes submitted by the states would not have given the president a second term. But those objections would have overstepped Congress’s constitutional authority, creating a dangerous precedent by which the majority party in Congress could de facto decide presidential elections. This precedent would effectively render the Electoral College obsolete, reducing Arkansans’ voice in future presidential elections.

I’m thankful for our many accomplishments over the past four years, but Congress couldn’t give the president a second term by invalidating the results of the election. And the attempt to do so would have only emboldened those Democrats who want to further erode the esteemed traditions of our constitutional republic.

Introduction

Volume 1 of the Navarro Report, The Immaculate Deception, assessed the fairness and integrity of the 2020 Presidential Election by identifying and assessing six key dimensions of alleged

election irregularities. These irregularities included: outright fraud, ballot mishandling, a wide range of process fouls, multiple violations of the 14th Amendment’s Equal Protection Clause, voting machine irregularities, and statistical anomalies. This assessment was conducted across six key battleground states – Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.

(1) Six types of election irregularities were present and pervasive in most or all of the battleground states; (2) Each battleground state differed in its own way with respect to the types of irregularities that were election-determinate; (3) There was no single “silver bullet” that allegedly won the election for Biden; instead it was “death by a thousand irregularities” in any given battleground state; and, most importantly with respect to the question as to whether the election may well have been stolen, (4) the narrow alleged Biden “victory” margins in each of the six battleground states were dwarfed by the number of potentially illegal ballots.

Concluding Remarks

Based on this third and final volume of The Navarro Report, and as Figure Eight demonstrates, it should be clear that there are far more questions raised about the potential illegality of the 2020 presidential election than have been answered. Clearly, the case, evidence, and statistical receipts presented in this report provide a strong case that the 2020 election may well have been stolen not just from President Trump but also from the 74 million Americans who went to the ballot box in good faith in support of President Trump.

In light of this evidence, it is impossible for anyone to claim that President Trump was in any way wrong in stoutly raising the question of election fraud and irregularities in the weeks following the November 3 election and in calling for his supporters to PEACEFULLY protest. Indeed, for the president not to rise to defend the integrity of the ballot box would have been a betrayal of the 74 million Americans who voted for the president thinking they were participating in what may well not have been a free and fair election. In light of this evidence, it is also irresponsible – in the extreme – for the Democrat Party and its leadership, or journalists in the mainstream media, or RINO Republicans to claim there is no evidence of election irregularities. That’s absurd on its face. As this report shows, there is an abundance of evidence – a virtual cornucopia of potentially poisonous election irregularities. In light of this evidence, this must also be said: Those American citizens who are now questioning the potential illegality of votes cast in the 2020 election should NOT be subjected by cable news networks, social media platforms, or the print media to the kind of abhorrent behaviors that we are now observing – social and political behaviors that are far more worthy of Communist China authoritarianism than American democracy. From public shaming to de-platforming, doxing, and public calls to punish and shun all those who have supported the president or worked in his administration, these types of behaviors are not the American way. CANBERRA, Australia (AP) — A pigeon that Australia declared a biosecurity risk may get a reprieve after a U.S. bird organization declared its identifying leg band was fake.

The band suggested the bird found in a Melbourne backyard on Dec. 26 was a racing pigeon that had left the U.S. state of Oregon, 13,000 kilometers (8,000 miles) away, two months earlier.

On that basis, Australian authorities on Thursday said they considered the bird a disease risk and planned to kill it.

But Deone Roberts, sport development manager for the Oklahoma-based American Racing Pigeon Union, said on Friday the band was fake.

The band number belongs to a blue bar pigeon in the United States and that is not the bird pictured in Australia, she said.

“The bird band in Australia is counterfeit and not traceable,” Roberts said. “It definitely has a home in Australia and not the U.S.”

“Somebody needs to look at that band and then understand that the bird is not from the U.S. They do not need to kill him,” she added.

Counterfeiting bird bands is “happening more and more,” Roberts said. “People coming into the hobby unknowingly buy that.”

Acting Australian Prime Minister Michael McCormack said he did not know what the fate of the bird named Joe, after the U.S. president-elect, would be. But there would be no mercy if the pigeon were from the United States.

“If Joe has come in a way that has not met our strict biosecurity measures, then bad luck Joe, either fly home or face the consequences,” McCormack told reporters.

But Martin Foley, health minister for Victoria state where Joe lives, called for the federal government to spare the bird.

“I would urge the Commonwealth’s quarantine officials to show a little bit of compassion,” Foley said.

Andy Meddick, a Victorian lawmaker for the minor Animal Justice Party, called for a “pigeon pardon for Joe.”

Should the federal government allow Joe to live, I am happy to seek assurances that he is not a flight risk,” Meddick said

Melbourne resident Kevin Celli-Bird, who found the emaciated bird in his backyard, was surprised by the development and pleased that the bird he had named Joe might not be destroyed.

“Yeah, I’m happy about that,” Celli-Bird said, referring to news that Joe probably is not a biosecurity threat.

Celli-Bird had contacted the American Racing Pigeon Union to find the bird’s owner based on the number on the leg band. The bands have both a number and a symbol, but Celli-Bird didn’t remember the symbol and said he can no longer catch the bird since it has recovered from its initial weakness.

The bird with the genuine leg band had disappeared from a 560-kilometer (350-mile) race in Oregon on Oct. 29, Crooked River Challenge owner Lucas Cramer said.

That bird did not have a racing record that would make it valuable enough to steal its identity, he said.

“That bird didn’t finish the race series, it didn’t make any money and so its worthless, really,” Cramer said.

He said it was possible a pigeon could cross the Pacific on a ship from Oregon to Australia.

“It does happen. We get birds in the United States that come from Japan,” Cramer said. “In reality, it could potentially happen, but this isn’t the same pigeon. It’s not even a racing pigeon.”

The bird spends every day in the backyard, sometimes with a native dove on a pergola. Celli-Bird has been feeding it pigeon food from within days of its arrival. “I think that he just decided that since I’ve given him some food and he’s got a spot to drink, that’s home,” he said.

Lars Scott, a carer at Pigeon Rescue Melbourne, a bird welfare group, said pigeons with American leg bans were not uncommon around the city. A number of Melbourne breeders bought them online and used them for their own record-keeping, Scott said.

Australian quarantine authorities are notoriously strict. In 2015, the government threatened to euthanize two Yorkshire terriers, Pistol and Boo, after they were smuggled into the country by Hollywood star Johnny Depp and his ex-wife Amber Heard.

Faced with a 50-hour deadline to leave Australia, the dogs made it out in a chartered jet.

Circumstances surrounding allegations of Italy’s involvement in switching votes from Donald Trump to Joe Biden in the 2020 presidential election reveal that Trump was betrayed by allies closest to him and that we are in trouble as a nation. The traitors who allegedly rigged the election were globalists and warmongers frustrated with President Trump’s refusal to accommodate neoconservative plans for regime change in Iran.

Barack Obama started the ball rolling in 2015 with the Joint Comprehensive Plan for Action, in which a slush fund was set aside for Iran as compensation for international sanctions it had endured over its nuclear development program. Iran promised that the program would have peaceful applications and agreed to release American prisoners in exchange for the money.

The following year, Obama met with Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi to discuss the challenges they respectively faced with regards to the public’s rejection of globalism. During this meeting, plans were set in motion to derail the prospective Trump Administration, with $400 million set aside from the $1.7 billion designated for Iran to be used to flip votes from Trump to Biden in the 2020 presidential election. The plan was to prevent Trump from serving a second term, with $400 million routed through the Vatican for this purpose.

According to Nations in Action, a government oversight group, the plan was executed by Stefano Serafini, a foreign service officer of 20 years; and Claudio Graziano, the Chair of the European Union Military Committee and member of the Board of Leonardo SpA, an Italian multinational specializing in aerospace, defense, and security.

Rep. Liz Cheney criticized by Wyoming GOP for voting ‘yes’ on impeachment

After Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.), the No. 3 House Republican, voted Wednesday in favor of impeaching President Donald Trump for “willful incitement of insurrection,” the Wyoming Republican Party criticized her for her vote in an ominous statement. This follows calls from other Republicans for her to be stripped of her leadership.

Cheney, the daughter of former Vice President Dick Cheney, in her Tuesday statement announcing she would vote for impeachment said of Trump’s speech in Washington, D.C. on January 6 that “there has never been a greater betrayal by a President” of his office. After Trump’s speech, a rioters stormed the U.S. Capitol to prevent the certification of the states’ Electoral College votes and President-elect Joe Biden‘s 2020 election victory.

Nine other House Republicans joined Cheney Wednesday in voting for impeachment.

“The wind in Wyoming has been horrendous today—with gusts up to 65 miles per hour. That is nothing compared to the whirlwind created by Representative Cheney’s announcement that she would be voting to impeach President Trump, and her subsequent follow-through of doing just that,” the Wyoming Republican Party said at the opening of their statement published Wednesday but after the vote.

“There has not been a time during our tenure when we have seen this type of an outcry from our fellow Republicans, with the anger and frustration being palpable in the comments we have received. Our telephone has not stopped ringing, our email is filling up, and our website has seen more traffic than at any previous time,” the statement continues. “The consensus is clear that those who are reaching out to the Party vehemently disagree with Representative Cheney’s decision and actions.”

The statement then presents a bullet-point list of reasons why the state party feels Cheney was wrong to vote “yay.” They mostly argue: that her vote doesn’t reflect how Wyoming feels about the president, 70% of whom voted for Trump; that she denied him due process and “judged the ‘evidence’ before it was presented”; and that he did not incite anyone to riot.

“We as a Party respect our elected officials and assume that they will respect and represent their constituents,” the statement concluded. “We are receiving the message loud and clear that what happened yesterday is a true travesty for Wyoming and the country.”

After her Tuesday announcement that she would vote “yay” and her vote the next day, some of her GOP colleagues have called for her to be stripped of her leadership.

Firing back, Cheney told the Capitol Hill press pool Tuesday, per The Hill, that “I’m not going anywhere. This is a vote of conscience. It’s one where there are different views in our conference.”

“But our nation is facing an unprecedented—since the Civil War—constitutional crisis,” she added. “That’s what we need to be focused on. That’s where our efforts and attention need to be.”

Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio), an ardent defender of Trump and a founder of the House Freedom Caucus, on Wednesday called for the removal of Cheney from her position as House Republican Conference chair, per The Hill.

“We ought to have a second vote,” Jordan told reporters. “The conference ought to vote on that.”

Rep. Andy Biggs (R-Ariz.), the House Freedom Caucus’s current chair, on Fox News said that he didn’t think the No. 3 House Republican “should be the chair of the Republican conference anymore” and that “she’s not representing the Republican ideals,” per The Hill.

Rep. Matt Rosendale (R-Mont.) said Cheney “ignored the preferences of Republican voters,” proving she’s “unfit to lead,” per the Associated Press.

A rehearsal for Joe Biden’s inauguration scheduled for Sunday has been postponed because of security concerns, according to two people with knowledge of the decision.

After last week’s riots in Washington, security officials have locked down the Capitol complex, and the National Guard is expected to deploy more than 20,000 troops to assist with security. Top lawmakers and Homeland Security officials have been alarmed about the rising threats around the inauguration, and the FBI warned this weekend of armed protests in all 50 states.

The rehearsal is now planned for Monday, the people said.

The president-elect’s team has also canceled an Amtrak trip from Wilmington to Washington planned for Monday because of heightened security concerns.

The presidential inaugural committee declined to comment on the changes, and the Secret Service and the Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies did not respond to requests for comment.

Biden’s team has also brought on Lisa Monaco, a former Homeland Security adviser in the Obama administration, to serve as a temporary adviser on security around the inauguration. Monaco, whom Biden nominated to serve as deputy attorney general, has paused her activities related to the nomination as she works with the transition on security matters.

“Ms. Monaco will assist the President-elect and work with the incoming national security advisor, the incoming homeland security advisor, and current security and law enforcement officials, including with the United States Secret Service on their plans for the inauguration,” a spokesperson for the transition said in a statement. “Given the existing threats, Ms. Monaco’s temporary role will be focused solely on the period leading up to the inauguration.”

Biden received a briefing on Wednesday about the threats from the FBI, the Secret Service and national security officials.

“In the week since the attack on Congress by a mob that included domestic terrorists and violent extremists,” Biden’s transition team said in a statement, “the nation has continued to learn more about the threat to our democracy and about the potential for additional violence in the coming days, both in the National Capital Region and in cities across the country. This is a challenge that the President-elect and his team take incredibly seriously.”

The Tower of London's "queen" raven is missing and feared dead, according to staff at the fortress.

Merlina, who joined the flock in 2007, has not been seen for several weeks.

The Tower usually has six ravens at any time and, according to legend, if they ever leave then both the fortress and the kingdom will fall. There are currently seven in residence.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) — Federal prosecutors offered an ominous new assessment of last week’s siege of the U.S. Capitol by President Donald Trump’s supporters on Thursday, saying in a court filing that rioters intended “to capture and assassinate elected officials.”

Prosecutors offered that view in a filing asking a judge to detain Jacob Chansley, the Arizona man and QAnon conspiracy theorist who was famously photographed wearing horns as he stood at the desk of Vice President Mike Pence in the chamber of the U.S. Senate.

The detention memo, written by Justice Department lawyers in Arizona, goes into greater detail about the FBI’s investigation into Chansley, revealing that he left a note for Pence warning that “it’s only a matter of time, justice is coming.”

“Strong evidence, including Chansley’s own words and actions at the Capitol, supports that the intent of the Capitol rioters was to capture and assassinate elected officials in the United States government,” prosecutors wrote.

A public defender representing Chansley could not be immediately reached for comment.

Chansley is due to appear in federal court on Friday.

The inquiry report said around 10,000 families had been forced to repay tens of thousands of euros of subsidies, in some cases leading to unemployment, bankruptcies and divorces, in what it called an “unprecedented injustice”. Many of the families were targeted based on their ethnic origin or dual nationalities, the tax office said last year. Orlando Kadir, an attorney representing around 600 families in a lawsuit against politicians, said people had been targeted “as a result of ethnic profiling by bureaucrats who picked out their foreign-looking names”. The crisis comes with the Netherlands in the midst of the toughest lockdown of the COVID-19 pandemic, and Rutte considering even more curbs as infections surge. Even though public support for the government’s COVID-19 measures has dipped sharply in recent weeks, Rutte’s People’s Party for Freedom and Democracy (VVD) is still riding high in public opinion polls ahead of the March election. Rutte’s party is projected to take just under 30% of the vote, more than twice that seen going to the second placed PVV, the anti-Islam party of Geert Wilders. Rutte has served since 2010, having won re-election twice.
