The top executive at pharma giant Pfizer said it still isn’t clear if those who receive the company’s vaccine will be able transmit the coronavirus to others, just one day after the UK became the first to approve the inoculation.

While Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla said he expects the vaccine rollout to be rapid after it gets the green light from US health officials, following in the steps of Britain, he noted that it remains to be seen whether recipients of the jab can still carry and pass the virus.

“Even though I’ve had the protection, am I still able to transmit it to other people?”

NBC’s Lester Holt asked in an interview on Thursday night, prompting a startling response from Bourla:

But trading volumes were below the one-year average and there were no obvious outsized transactions, while the U.S. equity benchmark rose on the day – making a mass exodus less appealing. It’s all leading to a theory that a major holder of the fund executed a large over-the-counter trade.

“We think the redemption didn’t show up because it was an outsized primary market sale,” said Eric Balchunas, a Bloomberg Intelligence ETF analyst. Rather than shopping for a tie at a store, “this is like someone going straight to the tiemaker, and that’s rare since most ETF usage is smaller investors,” he said.

When cash flows into an ETF, a market maker known as an authorized participant gives the issuer more of the fund’s underlying assets in exchange for new shares to meet demand. When money is being taken out, the process works in reverse. Ordinarily an investor buys or sells their shares on an exchange. But instead of selling on the open market, they could hand them directly to an AP, who can redeem them with the issuer in return for the underlying assets. Those assets can then be sold down by the AP or passed on to the investor to hold or sell. “Trading activity and flows are not actually systemically tied together,” said Dave Nadig, chief investment officer and director of research at ETF Flows, a research and data provider. Since the huge withdrawal didn’t show up on the tape, it suggests an institution collected a position worth $7 billion but preferred to have the underlying assets, he said.

It’s not possible to know for certain who pulled out the cash. According to the latest available data, Bank of America Corp. is the largest holder in the fund, with shares worth about $14 billion. Raymond James Financial Inc. is next with about $5.2 billion, followed by Parametric Portfolio Associates with $4.9 billion.

Spokespeople for Vanguard and Parametric declined to comment on the flows, while Bank of America and Raymond James didn’t immediately respond to requests for comment.

The scale of the withdrawal indicates that VOO is now being used by large institutions in addition to being a favorite with retail investors, Balchunas said. The fund is cheaper than its main competitor, the SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust (SPY). It has an 0.03% expense ratio, compared with 0.095% for SPY. VOO has attracted $19.5 billion of inflows this year, second only to the Vanguard Total Stock Market ETF (VTI), which has lured $27.8 billion. SPY is leading outflows after seeing $26 billion pulled from the fund.

Pfizer chairman: We're not sure if someone can transmit virus after vaccination

Pfizer chairman Albert Bourla told Dateline host Lester Holt that the pharmaceutical company was "not certain" if the vaccine prevented the coronavirus from being transmitted, saying, "This is something that needs to be examined." In a prime-time special titled "Race for a Vaccine" set to air Thursday, Holt questioned Bourla and other individuals involved in the development and distribution of the medicine. In November, Pfizer announced that its vaccine candidate had been shown to be more than 90 percent effective at preventing COVID-19 and has applied for emergency use authorization from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

The U.K. became the first country to approve Pfizer's vaccine this week with the first round of immunizations expected to roll out next week. In a list of interview highlights released before the special, Holt asked Bourla, "Even though I've had the protection, am I still able to transmit it to other people?" "I think this is something that needs to be examined. We are not certain about that right now with what we know," Bourla responded. Though Pfizer's vaccine has shown promising results, challenges have surfaced when it comes to distributing and administering it. The vaccine must be delivered and stored in extreme sub-zero temperatures, which has heightened the demand for dry ice.

Once the vaccine is kept at normal refrigeration temperatures, it must be used within four or five days or be discarded. The vaccine is administered in two doses spaced a few weeks apart. Government health officials have said that if the vaccine is approved, the first round of immunizations could be available for health care workers and high-risk individuals before the end of the year. Moderna and AstraZeneca have announced their own vaccine candidates to be highly effective at preventing the coronavirus as well with Moderna applying for emergency use authorization from the FDA.

National File has identified the vote counter in Georgia, who brought in suitcases full of ballots that were counted after observers were told to leave, as the daughter of Ruby Freeman. Freeman’s daughter, who has long blonde dreadlocks, is the woman who a Trump volunteer lawyer identified as the person who brought in suitcases full of ballots at 8:22 a.m.

After the first vote counter was identified as Ruby Freeman, National File has now identified the person who provided the mysterious suitcases full of votes as Freeman’s daughter.

In an October 26 Facebook live stream, Freeman said “Y’all want to know who my new supervisor is? It’s my daughter.” She added that “I just do what she say do and it’s her show baby, it’s her show.”

Freeman identified her daughter on the November 2 edition of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, writing that she, as “Supervisor of registration,” was “giving that look to the employees.” She added, “Mommie is so proud of you.” Freeman’s daughter can be seen with long, blonde dreadlocks that are dark at the roots in the photo.

Freeman’s daughter was seen in the local news footage that led to the identification of Freeman.

After the video featuring Freeman and her daughter was revealed by the Trump campaign during Thursday’s Georgia hearing, Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, a Republican, finally conceded that vote counting was not done legally or with proper supervision.

Raffensperger has stopped short of verifying the signatures of mail-in ballots, despite calls from the Trump campaign, prominent Republicans, and the governor.

Similarly, Gov. Brian Kemp, also a Republican, reaffirmed his call for signature verification. However, Kemp stopped short of calling a special session of the Georgia legislature, which would allow the legislators to fully examine the evidence of voter fraud, and potentially overturn the 2020 presidential election results, and assign the state’s Electoral College votes to President Donald Trump.

Once Again, Police Conducting Child Sex Trafficking Sting, Bust One of Their Own

New Orleans, LA — Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry and the Cyber Crime Unit, in partnership with the Louisiana Bureau of Investigation, Homeland Security Investigations, and Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office launched a sting last month to catch the low-life scum who traffic in child sex abuse. During the law enforcement sting, they nabbed one of their own, a Port Fourchon Harbor Police Officer, Jason Plaisance, 47.

Plaisance was caught trafficking in child porn in the sting along with a convicted sex-offender, Dillion Everett, 33. After his arrest, the officer of 21 years, was fired from his job and now faces multiple counts of trafficking in child pornography involving juveniles under the age of 13.

“We at the Greater Lafourche Port Commission are aware of the arrest of Jason Plaisance for the alleged crime of possession of child pornography by the Attorney General’s Office,” Port Director Chett Chiasson said Thursday. “We cooperated with the AG’s Office throughout this investigation. Plaisance has subsequently been terminated from his employment with the Greater Lafourche Port Commission. The GLPC takes a Zero Tolerance policy when it comes to any crimes committed by one of our officers. We are saddened by this news and our hearts go out to all those affected by these horrific types of crimes.”

Everett, who had already been arrested for similar crimes, was charged with 120 counts of possession of child pornography involving juveniles under 13 and 22 counts of distribution of pornography involving juveniles under 13. Showing the problem with child predators being repeat offenders, Everett was just released in January of this year after being busted for child porn in 2014 by the same Cyber Crime Unit.

“Crimes against children are heinous offenses that inflict life-long damage to their victims so my office will continue to bring child predators to justice, no matter who they are or where they hide,” Landry said. “I appreciate the cooperation of the Port Fourchon Harbor Police Department and the work of our law enforcement partners to make these two arrests.”

The local press was quick to run their article titles with the detail that Plaisance is a “former” officer. However, when he was caught trafficking in child porn, he was not a former officer.

In the state of Louisiana alone, in just the past few months, TFTP has reported on numerous officers who have been caught preying on children.

In November, TFTP reported on Rodney Vicknair, 53, who was arrested and charged with sexual battery, indecent behavior with a juvenile and malfeasance, for sexually assaulting a child while investigating a sexual assault that she reported. This child abuse victim went to police for help and was raped by the ones she trusted.

Tucker Carlson of the Fox News Channel says Senate Republicans are attempting to pack foreign workers into high-paying U.S. jobs while nearly 18 million Americans are jobless.

On Thursday evening, Carlson slammed Senate Republicans for failing to stop Sen. Mike Lee’s (R-UT) green card giveaway that will allow Indian nationals to effectively monopolize employment-based green cards for at least a decade and tech corporations to privatize the system.

The giveaway solidifies that employment-based visas only go to temporary foreign visa workers, mostly on H-1B visas, who have been imported to the U.S. by corporations to replace American workers, thus rewarding companies who outsource American white-collar jobs.

As noted by Carlson, the giveaway comes as the Justice Department files suit against Facebook — which lobbied for the giveaway — for allegedly discriminating against Americans in favor of foreign workers.

“We’ve known for a long time that Silicon Valley wants foreign workers to dominate our economy,” Carlson said. “They don’t care what kind of effect that has on Americans. What’s surprising is that in a time of mass unemployment — and that’s what we have now, mass unemployment — the Republican Party of all people is helping them do it. That’s happening.”

“Yesterday, the Republican-controlled Senate unanimously passed a law called the ‘Fairness for High Skilled Immigrants Act.’ As if the problem with America is that we don’t have enough fairness for people from other countries. No concern about fairness for Americans,” Carlson continued. “The whole process took a matter of moments. It was led by Utah Senator Mike Lee. And without any objections, passed it.”

Carlson described the giveaway as an outsourcing scheme levied against young, middle-class Americans who aspire to U.S. technology jobs. Their job prospects, Carlson said, will be crushed as a result:

What will that do to you and your kids? Let’s say you would like to have your kids graduate from college with all the debt they have and get a high-paying job in technology — much less likely now. That job is going to go to someone from another country.

They’ll tell you, “We don’t have enough well-educated people to fill those slots.” Really? As they’re forcing your kids to take classes on Zoom, as they let American schools degrade to the point that they are a joke — Republicans aren’t even disputing that point.

The Department of Defense has released images of COVID-19 cards – Cards used to keep track of your coronavirus vaccinations.

CNN is reporting that the “cards will be used as the ‘simplest’ way to keep track of Covid-19 shots” and that vaccinations will be monitored in state immunization registries.

“Everyone will be issued a written card that they can put in their wallet that will tell them what they had and when their next dose is due,” says Kelly Moore, associate director of the Immunization Action Coalition.

Patients will be asked to voluntarily give their cell phone number in order to receive alerts about when their next dose is due.

One airline, Australia’s Qantas Airways, said that they will require passengers to prove that they’ve been vaccinated for COVID-19 in order to board international flights.

Will Qantas be an anomaly?

Travel industry experts have already reportedly been coordinating their efforts to create a digital passport that would indicate whether a passenger has been vaccinated for COVID-19.

The concert, venue, and event giant Ticketmaster will also reportedly require proof of vaccinations to attend their events.

Before the “fact-checkers” come after me, to be clear: This is my view of things.

Showing your vaccination papers could very well be coming.

Your mask will be an initial symbol of compliance, and your papers could eventually determine what building and facilities you will be allowed to enter.

NBC has dutifully reported that such cards are not a “passport,” to be used to determine whether or not you can perform certain societal functions.

But how long will that last?

Last week, Kurt Phillips of Anti-Racist Canada (ARC) retired his blog after 13 years.

ARC was an early pioneer of the tactic of “doxing,” where leftists post the addresses, photos of homes, and other personal information of political dissidents in order to threaten and intimidate them into silence. Over the years, Phillips has targeted free speech activists, Canadian nationalists, Proud Boys, immigration skeptics and even the Canadian Yellow Vest movement, sometimes paired with thinly veiled calls to violence.

Even his farewell message encourages readers to follow explicitly violent anarchist groups and left-wing “skinheads” like SHARP.

Early this year, Phillips was himself exposed as a gay communist teacher at St. Anthony’s Catholic school in Drumheller, Alberta, where he continues to work despite revelations of his activities and litigation alleging unethical and potentially illegal behavior.

While Phillips is calling it quits at ARC, this is only because of a sinecure he has received at Bernie Farber’s antifa NGO, the “Canadian Anti-Hate Network,” (CAN) where Phillips is now a board member. Farber is a Zionist Jewish activist who was criticized for claiming to be a homosexual in 2009 in order to promote Israel and protest a pro-Palestine group at an gay parade.

CAN engages in similar activities as ARC, specializing in doxing and creating media narratives to demonize right-wingers in Canada. CAN’s position on violence appears to be purely legalistic, with its “About” page stating “We do not, however, engage in any on-the-ground organizing and encourage you to contact your local anti-racist groups if you want to get involved at that level.” The anti-racist groups they are referring to are mostly communist and anarchist “antifa” groups who use force to deny Canadians with different political opinions their civil liberties.

What is most shocking about CAN is who is paying Phillips to harass people: the Canadian government and banking establishment.

In October, the multinational investment bank Bank of Montreal (BMO) provided CAN with a $250,000 donation to expand its “antifa” operations. This was followed up with another big cash injection from the Canadian state itself through its “Anti-Racist Action” program, which allocated $270,000 to CAN’s activities of “monitoring” and “combating” right-wing groups.

The dynamic doesn’t seem to bother self-described anti-capitalists tripping over one another for the money of bankers and Canadian plutocrats.

Northern Italian Region Rebels Against Government and Reopens for Business

ROME — The northern Italian region of Valle d’Aosta has defied coronavirus restrictions imposed by the central government, declaring itself a “yellow zone” and reopening restaurants, bars, shops, and businesses.

In a November 3 decree, Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte imposed national restrictions covering the entire territory as well as regional restrictions based on a three-tiered ranking system — yellow, orange, and red — depending on how great he believes the coronavirus risk to be in each.

The ranking of the regions is regularly updated and currently seven are considered “yellow” (lowest risk), nine are ranked “orange,” and the remaining five are “red” zones (locked down). Among the five red regions is Valle d’Aosta, which has rebelled against the system by declaring itself a yellow zone.

Valla d’Aosta’s regional president Erik Lavevaz has claimed regional autonomy over “the freedom of movement of its citizens, economic activities, and social relations” and has signed a law allowing the reopening of retail stores, bars, museums, religious services, restaurants, libraries, and other businesses. The regional council confirmed the mandate to wear a mask even outdoors as well as the national ban on gatherings.

The minister for regional autonomy Francesco Boccia immediately warned the Aosta Valley Council that the move will be challenged in what is being labelled an institutional clash between Italy’s central government and local authorities.

According to the central government, regions such as Valle d’Aosta do not have the right to mitigate the health provisions adopted by the government in Rome but they are permitted to make them stricter.

“The Italian government has shown little sensitivity in understanding the problems of the mountains,” said Erik Lavevaz, who has only been president of the region since October 21, 2020, during the meeting of the regional council that approved the law. “This law goes in the right direction, which is the one we have already begun: it gives order to the implementation phase of management of the emergency, immersing itself in our territorial reality.”

Minister Francesco Boccia said that the matter will be referred immediately to the Regional Administrative Tribunal (TAR) for a judgment.

“The statements of President Lavevaz of the Valle d’Aosta Region undermine and damage the loyal collaboration that has characterized the hard and tiring common effort against the pandemic these past months,” Mr. Boccia said.

“Everyone knows the importance of the serious crisis that the economic entities are enduring,” he added, “but evidently not everyone is aware of the very serious health emergency and the number of families that have to face very heavy grief every day.”

A top figure in the French government accused British negotiators of being duplicitous in talks and suggested the nation could use its veto to kill any deal they didn’t deem in their interest, seriously knocking expectations in London and Brussels that an agreement was on the verge of being signed.

Reports and speculation in European media in recent days suggested a Brexit deal could have been agreed late this week, although without clear indication of who would have surrendered to who and on what issues in order to make such an unlikely breakthrough possible. Yet claims emerging on Friday now suggest that talks were not actually going so well, and could be torpedoed at the last minute by the French government in a bid to protect their own interests.

Clément Beaune, France’s European affairs minister who The Times described as being close to, and speaking for, French president Emmanuel Macron, clearly laid out how dissatisfied the French appeared to be. Beaune said:

If there were a deal that isn’t good which in our evaluation doesn’t correspond to those interests, we will oppose it.

Yes, each country has a veto, so it’s possible. France, like all its partners, has the means of a veto. We must make our own evaluation, of course, of this deal, that’s normal. We owe that to the French people, we owe it to our fishermen and to other economic sectors.

I want to believe we will have a good deal, but to get a good deal you know it’s better to be frank, and to say our interests We have been very clear, sometimes the Brits a little less so, about our interests.

President Trump’s personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani and Trump campaign senior legal advisor Jenna Ellis appeared before Arizona state lawmakers in a public hearing on Monday.

The hearing was chaired by Representative Mark Finchem (district 11) with a number of House and Senate members on the hearing panel.

RINO of all RINOs Governor Doug Ducey signed off on the certification of Arizona’s false election results mid-hearing.

On Monday Finchem issued a call to withhold the state’s Electoral College votes for Joe Biden because “he believes there is enough significant evidence of fraud to invalidate the state’s votes.”

Now Finchem is calling on his fellow lawmakers to come together and recall Arizona’s certification.

“I believe Doug Ducey signed a fraudulent document and he knew it!,” Finchem said.

Rep. Finchem appeared on The War Room with Steve Bannon on Friday.

Finchem said county clerks are now coming forward and admitting something is off with the canvassing and the numbers are just not adding up.

“We got people coming out of the woodwork,” Finchem said adding that the legislature will just go around Governor Ducey.

“We only need to have 31 members of the House and 16 members of the Senate pass a resolution recalling our electors. It’s that simple,” he said. “Our constituents are blowing up over this.”

Massive fire engulfs Toledo Beach Marina building with boats, million-dollar yacht inside

Multiple fire departments are at Toledo Beach Marina this morning battling a massive fire that ignited inside a maintenance building.

Smoke can be seen for miles drifting across Lake Erie as firefighters attempt to quell flames that have spread throughout the building.

Officials said many boats are being stored inside the structure, including one that what was described as a million-dollar yacht.

The marina, which has a long history, is located off S. Otter Creek Rd. east of I-75 in LaSalle Township. Several area fire departments have been responding to the scene.

President's legal team, FBI have sought out voter data gathered by veteran tech worker.

A veteran data expert and onetime Trump campaign staffer revealed to Just the News on Thursday the expansive, expensive and in-depth voter fraud investigations in which he and a team of workers have been immersed round-the-clock since the disputed Nov. 3 election.

"I had some ideas in the aftermath of the election about ways to resolve whether or not there was voter fraud or illegal ballots cast in a way that I thought would be definitive," said Matt Braynard, the director of the Voter Integrity Project, in a podcast interview for John Solomon Reports. "Because, you know, in the day or two after the election, there were all kinds of crazy theories, things that I would consider hearsay or speculation."

"I thought that, you know, I've got some skills here," Braynard told this reporter, acting as guest host for the podcast episode. "I've got a pretty strong background in this area."

Braynard, the director of strategy for the Trump 2016 campaign, has been working in the field of voter data since the 1990s. His resume includes stints in the Republican National Committee's political analysis department as well as with the company Election Data Services, which Braynard called "the nation's premier election administration and redistricting firm."

"I have a pretty intimate understanding of not how a bill is made, but how a vote is made," he said, "all the way back to how voters register, the different ways they vote, and then the ways those votes get counted and tabulated. This is stuff I've been intimately familiar with, gosh, for going on 25 years now."

His initial, tentative efforts to explore voter fraud in the recent election led to a major crowdfunding campaign on the website GoFundMe, which raised well over $200,000, according to Braynard. But that service subsequently removed the crowdfunding campaign, citing alleged election misinformation.

A trial judge raised the possibility that another federal judge overseeing Michael Flynn’s case could find that President Donald Trump’s pardon of Flynn is too broad, if it unlawfully protects the former national security adviser from future prosecutions.

U.S. District Judge Reggie Walton said at a hearing Friday that he doesn’t think U.S. District Judge Emmet Sullivan, his colleague presiding over the Flynn case, “has a lot of options in reference to what he does” after the pardon was granted, “unless he takes the position that the wording of the pardon is too broad, in that it provides protections beyond the date of the pardon.”

“I don’t know what impact that would have, what decision he would make, if he makes that determination that the pardon of Mr. Flynn is for a period that the law does not permit. Sullivan has refused to dismiss the Flynn case even though the Department of Justice and Flynn’s defense attorney Sidney Powell agreed to a dismissal after it was learned that Flynn was improperly targeted. Powell also uncovered evidence that Flynn was coerced by the Mueller special counsel’s office into falsely pleading guilty to lying to FBI agents when the Mueller team threatened to prosecute his son Mike Flynn, Jr.

President Donald Trump has filed suit in Georgia claiming the election process was filled with “significant systemic misconduct, fraud and other irregularities” resulting in “many thousands of illegal votes” being cast and counted.

The suit was filed in Georgia on Friday on behalf of Trump and David Shafer, a presidential elector pledged to the president. The suit named Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger and a slew of local elections officials.

It is asking the court to prevent certification of the results and order a new presidential election.

The suit claims:

The election code mandates that those wishing to vote by absentee ballots may apply for a mail-in ballot “not more than 180 days” prior to the election. But it alleges the officials permitted at least 305,701 people to illegally vote who applied for absentee ballots more than 180 days prior to the election and then improperly counted the illegal votes.

Officials allowed at least 92 individuals to vote whose absentee ballots, according to state records, were returned and accepted prior to that individual requesting an absentee ballot.

The officials mailed at least 2,664 absentee ballots to individuals prior to the earliest date permitted by law.

Respondents unlawfully adopted standards to be followed by the clerks and registrars in processing absentee ballots inconsistent with the election code.

Despite the legal requirement for signature matching and voter identity verification, the respondents failed to ensure that such obligations were followed by election officials.

The lawsuit also claims the officials violated Georgia law and the election code, along with state election board rules and regulations.

“The fraud, misconduct and irregularities that occurred under the ‘supervision’ of (the) respondents are sufficient to place the contest election in doubt,” the lawsuit said.

"As a result, there is substantial doubt as to the outcome of the contested election, and the contested election … shall be enjoined, vacated, and nullified and either a new presidential election be immediately ordered that complies with Georgia Page 52 of 64 law or, in the alternative, that such other just and equitable relief is obtained so as to comport with the Constitution of the State of Georgia.”

Four German holidaymakers who were illegally quarantined in Portugal after one was judged to be positive for Covid-19 have won their case, in a verdict that condemns the widely-used PCR test as being up to 97-percent unreliable.

Earlier this month, Portuguese judges upheld a decision from a lower court that found the forced quarantine of four holidaymakers to be unlawful. The case centred on the reliability (or lack thereof) of Covid-19 PCR tests.

The verdict, delivered on November 11, followed an appeal against a writ of habeas corpus filed by four Germans against the Azores Regional Health Authority. This body had been appealing a ruling from a lower court which had found in favour of the tourists, who claimed that they were illegally confined to a hotel without their consent. The tourists were ordered to stay in the hotel over the summer after one of them tested positive for coronavirus in a PCR test – the other three were labelled close contacts and therefore made to quarantine as well.

Unreliable, with a strong chance of False Positives

They were also scathing about the reliability of the PCR (polymerase chain reaction) test, the most commonly used check for Covid.

The conclusion of their 34-page ruling included the following: “In view of current scientific evidence, this test shows itself to be unable to determine beyond reasonable doubt that such positivity corresponds, in fact, to the infection of a person by the SARS-CoV-2 virus.”

In the eyes of this court, then, a positive test does not correspond to a Covid case. The two most important reasons for this, said the judges, are that, “the test’s reliability depends on the number of cycles used’’ and that “the test’s reliability depends on the viral load present.’’ In other words, there are simply too many unknowns surrounding PCR testing.

Tested positive?There could be as little as a 3% chance it’s correct

Earlier this year, data from three US states – New York, Nevada and Massachusetts – showed that when the amount of the virus found in a person was taken into account, up to 90 percent of people who tested positive could actually have been negative, as they may have been carrying only tiny amounts of the virus.

Special Forces soldier among 2 found dead in Fort Bragg training area, Army officials say

FORT BRAGG, N.C. — The U.S. Army has identified one of two men found dead in a training area at Fort Bragg as a master sergeant who was deployed multiple times to both Afghanistan and Iraq in his 19-year career.

Master Sgt. William J. Lavigne II, 37, was found dead Wednesday afternoon with another man, Army officials said. The second man, whose name has not been released, was an Army veteran who was previously stationed at the North Carolina military base.

The men’s deaths were not related to official training, authorities said. No suspected cause or manner of death has been released.

“The loss of a soldier is always tragic,” Lt. Col. Justin Duvall, commander of Headquarters and Headquarters Company, U.S. Army Special Operations Command, said in a statement. “Master Sgt. Lavigne dedicated himself to the Army for 19 years and deployed multiple times in the defense of our nation.

“Our condolences go out to his family during this difficult time.”

Lavigne, who enlisted in 2001, graduated from the Special Forces Qualification Course and was assigned to the 1st Special Forces Group, Airborne, according to Army officials. He was later assigned to the Special Operations Command, though which he was deployed overseas several times.

According to Army Times, Lavigne was awarded two Bronze Stars.

The Army Criminal Investigation Command is investigating the deaths.

The firm that conducted the audit of the Dominion Voting Systems in Georgia has links with Dominion Voting Systems.

And guess what?

They didn’t find anything!

There was “no sign of foul play.”

Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger hired the firm.

Raffensperger also has ties with Dominion and used Dominion executive and Antifa activist Eric Coomer in his defense earlier this year.

The firm hired by Georgia’s secretary of state to conduct an “audit” of Dominion Voting Systems technology used during the 2020 elections is the same one that previously certified the Dominion systems and also approved a last-minute system-wide software change just weeks before the election.

Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger failed to disclose that the company, Pro V&V, had a preexisting relationship with Dominion that dated back years, in his Nov. 17 statement announcing the results of the audit.

Raffensperger also failed to disclose that Dominion had used technical conclusions from Pro V&V in a pre-election Georgia lawsuit that questioned the reliability of Dominion’s systems during a last-minute software fix before the Nov. 3 election. The testing from Pro V&V had been characterized as “superficial” and “cursory testing” by an expert cited in court documents.

In the widely quoted statement, Raffensperger said that the audit of Dominion machines was complete, there was “no sign of foul play,” and that “Pro V&V found no evidence” of tampering with the machines

White House Fires Pentagon Advisory Board Members Via Generic Email In Final Purge

Politico reports on Friday what appears to be the Trump admin's final house cleaning of Pentagon top civilian ranks.

Multiple members of the Defense Business Board, the members of which are appointed annually by the Secretary of Defense to help streamline interaction with the defense private sector, were notified by White House email that they have been unexpectedly terminated.

Two former board members described it as Trump's final "clean out" of Pentagon leadership during the remaining few weeks of his term.

Members of the board received a brief email from Joshua Whitehouse, the White House liaison to the Department of Defense, that simply said, "if you are receiving this e-mail, your membership on the Defense Business Board has expired or is coming to an end."

"This e-mail serves as notice that we will be nominating new board members," the notice continued. "We appreciate your service to the Department and your country."

The now fired board members said they had no heads-up or warning whatsoever of the impending action. The email notification came seemingly out of nowhere.

"A number of board members have been terminated with a form letter. In my experience, I was very surprised that the White House would, at the eleventh hour, adjust an advisory board that for 19 years has had a record of nonpartisan support with the department," the until today board chairman Michael Bayer, described to Politico.

"This kind of a move really will weigh heavily on people on the future and their willingness to serve on these outside advisory boards if they're going to be subjected to political loyalty test. It's unprecedented. I'm just saddened," Bayer added.

Attorney Kevin Hamilton, representing Democratic Party electors for Joe Biden, told a Nevada court in Carson City on Thursday that ballots cast by people who have died are still legal votes as long as they mailed them before death.

Hamilton was responding to claims by attorney Jessie Binnall, representing Republicans and electors for President Donald Trump, who claimed that 1,500 ballots were cast in the state by people listed as dead by the Social Security Administration.

However, Hamilton replied that Trump”s lawyers had failed to prove the votes cast by dead people were invalid, and that their witness, former Republican National Committee data officer Jesse Kamzol, had not submitted specific evidence:

Voters who pass away obviously can’t vote, unless they cast their ballot prior to their death. But Mr. Kamzol offers the court no evidence with respect to the date of death of the voters he identifies here. Or fundamentally, he doesn’t in fact identify even a single voter whose ballot was cast after he or she passed away. Not one. And yet he claims that there are thousands. You’d think he would attach them to a declaration, that he would come forward with a report, that he’d name even one.

The judge in the case is expected to rule Friday on the Trump campaign’s claims of voter fraud and irregularities.

ROME — The year 2020 was already looking like a tough year even before the coronavirus outbreak, Pope Francis told a group of new ambassadors to the Holy See Friday.

“You are beginning your mission at a time of great challenge facing the entire human family,” the pontiff told ambassadors from Jordan, Kazakhstan, Zambia, Mauritania, Uzbekistan, Madagascar, Estonia, Rwanda, Denmark, and India.

“Even before the outbreak of COVID-19, it was clear that 2020 was going to be a year marked by urgent humanitarian needs, due to conflicts, violence and terrorism in different parts of our world,” Francis continued. “Economic crises are causing hunger and mass migration, while climate change is increasing the risk of natural disasters, famine and drought.”

The coronavirus pandemic was icing on the cake, he continued, by aggravating the world’s other crises and exacerbating inequalities.

Ex-teacher, coach charged with raping teen student at his home

A former Tennessee high school teacher and athletics coach has been charged with raping a 16-year-old student after connecting with the teen on Instagram, police said.

Timothy Williams, a 30-year-old who taught social studies and coached track at Mt. Juliet High School, was arrested Thursday on two counts of aggravated statutory rape after he sexually assaulted the female student at his Nashville home.

An investigation revealed Williams picked the girl up in June at a friend’s house in Mt. Juliet, where she had planned to spend the night. Police said Williams then took her back to his home before returning the girl to her friend’s residence the following morning.

Detectives said the victim’s account was backed up by license plate readers in Mt. Juliet, a town of about 37,000 roughly 20 miles east of Nashville.

It is unclear if he taught the student but police are now concerned that Williams, who taught in the district since 2013, may have victimized others.

Williams, who was suspended by Wilson County Schools when the allegations came to light, later resigned prior to the start of the school year, district officials told WSMV.

“At that time, our schools were not in session due to summer break,” district officials said in a statement to the station. “We have worked very closely with local law enforcement throughout their investigation and will continue to do so moving forward.”

Williams also served as an assistant football coach at the school, the Tennessean reported.

The former educator is also facing misdemeanor drug charges after cops found more than 30 grams of marijuana and drug paraphernalia at his home during a search on July 8, the newspaper reported.

It’s unclear if Williams, who remained jailed Thursday on $50,000 bond, has hired an attorney who could speak on his behalf.
