>implying

Even if any substantive forms and universals do not exist, we can still create and define terms to act as universals for categorization.

I guess it would be a shared description as opposed to a shared substantive property, but for all intents and purposes it seems the same.

As far as the philosophical circlejerking goes (I say that since at least this seems a little arbitrary), I would say that it's a mixture of platononism due to fundamental elements discovered in science and math (ie platonic solids) and for the rest of our vast majority of tropes and archetypes and memes and etc, it would be concepts that we perceive to be essential ie conceptualism. Perhaps these concepts somehow come from the universal platonic forms that are only just the essentials in math and physics, but this would be an assumption that seems impossible to prove. Is there a theory that accounts for and separates these two theories? I don't think this is arbitrary anymore.

>(ie platonic solids)

That name is a mere historical coincidence, and has essentially nothing to do with Platonic forms. It's the same with trying to say math somehow exists outside of the physics which instantiates the math.
