Actually fairly pissed over this tbh, it's dumb as shit even though I know that sponging with mummy until she finally kicks you out or finds something better is the course of least resistance and moving out means more hardship you almost certainly won't be able to change.
I'm pretty sure you've been "trying hard" for years now with no results because there is no impetus to ACTUALLY change, the same situation I have been in for about the same amount of time.
