Despite EU Arrivals Lowest Since 2012, Migration Drives Non-UK Born Population to 9.4 Million
British government statistics show that net arrivals from the European Union are at their lowest since 2014, but this has not stopped rising immigration from the rest of the world continuing to push the United Kingdom’s population upward.
>Despite net EU arrivals — the difference between those arriving and leaving — falling to the lowest level since 2012, this group still yielded an overall positive figure in the ONS statistics, with approximately 74,000 more European Union citizens arriving than leaving during the period.
>Far larger were arrivals from the rest of the world, which are at their highest level since 2014, with net addition of 248,000.
>Overall, the net-positive levels of immigration, which despite coming below the recent 2016 peak, are still running at historically high levels. The ONS revealed that the foreign-born population of the United Kingdom now stands at 9.4 million and that arrivals from Romania in recent years have been one of the largest drivers of growth in that total.

Why is the Soviet Union known as the country with endless reserves of manpower, when it only had about double the population of Germany? That doesn't seem like that much considering most of Europe was under German occupation when Barbarossa started tbh.

in general no nation sends it's full manpower to fight because that's retarded, even the ww1 death tolls were only like 10% or less or smth
but the commies' jew masters could just send as many as t hey liked to death

They mobilized better than everyone else and had little regard for their lives. It only seemed that way, I guess. Also, I don't think we actually know how many people lived in the soviet union at the time, I think the earliest estimates put them at 180 million and 210 million.

Maybe they had a greater peasant population available to serve in the military, whereas Germany was an advanced country whose populace could do other productive tasks besides die en masse.

they were just throwing bodies at the germans, only had one rifle for every 3 men. so one guy dies, next picks up the rifle, next guy dies, third guy picks up the rifle. if they turned around, they were shot

That did happen but it wasn't because of a shortage of weapons, it was an effective strategy that slowed down the German advance. When most troops are surrounded they would surrender, but the Russians fought on even if they had their supply lines cut off like at the defense of Brest fortress.
There were also cases of troops conscripted from Siberia who had never seen a body of water being ordered to cross rivers and drowning to death.
The Soviets were very technically advanced and had a huge domestic war industry though overall. The T-34 in 1941 was invincible to most German weaponry.

On shooting their own men, there were blocking detachments because of poor morale yeah. The Germans did the same once they started losing the war themselves though, and I think every other country had the death penalty for desertion.

tbh, soviets did develop rather modern tactics/strategy, even before the war but they were phased out during the purges
eventually they readopted them and did rather well, they were also decently supplied, sometimes far better than the germans who relied upon horses

I mean they'd never send in people LITERALLY completely unarmed, the psychological impact of that means they may as well have just shot them before leaving for the front
at least they'd get some obsolete melee weapon, a trench spike, anything
going full "HAHAHA it was like in the call of duty level where it 's stalingrad and you run around holding a clip of mosin ammo but have no gun" is nonsense even for commies

True really it was only isolated incidents. Imagine you're in a war and get surrounded and you have no radio to communicate with anyone but the 50 other soldiers with you, and some are cooks and chefs who have no weapon, or logistics personnel whose vehicle has broken down. In those times there probably were unarmed soldiers roaming around in desperation.

Tbf I wouldn't be surprised if something like that happened in Stalingrad due to the fact it's a huge devastated city and it would've been full of workers and civilians alongside thousands of soldiers all pressed into a very tiny battle space. Would have to read about it.
