Can we talk about no wave?
Been listening to Mars - Complete Studio Recordings lately, it's pretty sick

As far as No Wave goes i've only heard early Swans, not the biggest fan but it's "nice" from tiem to time

I decided to re-listen to No New York, and I was surprised that I liked it better than when I first got into No Wave. It's usually the opposite thing with most experimental music with me. I guess no wave is different in that it always had a strong sense of rhythm, despite being weird and having a lot of outsider cred.
Not strictly a part of the scene, but I have been listening to Chrome a lot.

I felt like Mars were kind of boring when I listened to them. I think I like DNA a little better, they're pretty similar. Early Lizzy Mercier Descloux, Swans, Suicide, James Chance, and Sonic Youth are God-tier.
