I was in that thread for certain, I remember these posts. I didn't see posts of mine although some of the things I ream looked like things I would reply to but I couldn't recognize any posts of mine.
I remember this pic. I remember explaining to someone that Miku can't be hurt from the cold because she is an android and that she was safe because nothing can harm her in the 2D world (it's one of the things I'm most glad about, since it keeps my peace of mind that Miku is safe the way she is 2D) and that it is just for the picture like a staged photo.
I remember it as one of the earlier things that provoked me to post because I didn't like someone getting so overly emotional over a picture when there was nothing to worry about actually.

What I meant was that you were more confident and can be snappier rather than someone as vulnerable or as delicate as I imagined. Part of the reason I never posted was because when I was in my depressed state (around 2013) I was so emotionally wrecked I couldn't take the possibility of getting into a conflict with someone, mingling with people or causing trouble. Since MM was a big part of the way I would experience Miku and Vocaloid on a weekly basis, I didn't want to bring myself in as an unknown variable so I stayed my distance.
If I began posting at one point for whatever reason, then that means I was feeling better and was feeling more confident, overcoming my depression. Since then I grew a spine again, got over it, and can burn bitches to the ground so I don't care.

These things encompass my thoughts far too much. I think I might type them out someday along with the details about you, just to get it out of my system, because I can't afford to think about this place, or that place, or the past when I have to concentrate on work but in short: I was afraid of you getting doxed, attacked or something unpleasant back then.
Even if I wasn't an active poster all the time and didn't make myself known I felt really connected to /v/MM for the fact that it was a big part of my life for 3+ years. At times I got bored, paid less or more attention, but it was always good. Always. and NO ONE ruined it. So get that out of your head.
3 whole years and some more… it strangely coincided with my breakdown. One of the thoughts that haunted me was that nothing lasts forever. When loved ones died or shit around me started to fall. When I felt I was afraid of the passing of time and life in general. MM was always there. All the songs to make me happy, all the pictures to make me smile. Every Monday. Even if I wasn't, and without me, it still is. I see it now at /v/, it will be okay. No need for us to worry about our contribution. It's bigger than us. Same as Miku and the fandom is.
I don't know when it ingrained itself so deeply, even though I've had many other sources for the fandom.
For a while now I've been thinking that maybe it's time for me to let go. Not like I haven't tried
I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Weebhaters buying their first Figure out of the Miku game mania, Seabeams glitter in OC of the Yukarifag post, people feeling like on a sunny beach while in the darkness of their room. All those moments will be lost in time…like tears, in, rain. Time, to die.

By the way, I remembered, it's possible that I did post around summer 2014 because somewhere around mid August 2014 I got a PS3 with F (Eng) and F 2nd (JP) in preparation for Miku's Birthday. I also was excited to finally be able to discuss those games at MM because let's not kid ourselves, those were the games everyone was talking about and me having played all the PSP ones wasn't really cutting it even if I did want to post at all.
Remembering further, It's true that I had the console and games since early August but I didn't really have time to play on it until October.
I only used it as part of Miku's Birthday celebration before October.

Not really, I don't have any definite memory of posting then, not like I forgot when and why I got my PS3 but I was so certain I never posted before my ban March 2015 and it turns out I did post long before that I just forgot.
I never forgot and I know for certain MM was why I couldn't stand not having played F/F 2nd. It just slipped my mind that it could be an indicator for me posting then because I thought for certain I didn't, but I did know that even though I already knew all the songs from F/F 2nd I still wanted to be fully "in on it" even when lurking by having played the games. The reason for that is part of the "how MM evolved" thing I've mentioned in the past and is a broader topic.

Anyway, was that the only thread you posted that Yukari webm (the second post)? I loved it, I most definitely saw it back then. (and the thread if it was the only time) It looked to me like a really fun way to start off MM.
Back in the day when I, of course, had no idea what it was about, it looked to me like some kind of really cute, playful fun and insider interaction that posters were having with one another. It was cute, I like it even more now with being a spin on a meme and all.

I am posting this thread. It looks like a really standard thread of the summer 2014 kind, just a tad bit towards the time when the sun was setting for that period. I think the date was December 15th 2014, if I am remembering correctly.
But the pdf thread is more of an excuse to post. What I actually want to reminiscence about is all the helpful people that have always inhabited MM threads. MM was very different in how people were always eager to provide and help, unlike the general "no spoon feeding" attitude emanating from 4chan. Whether it was to answer questions, recognize songs, recommend albums or even where to buy them, give advice on ordering figures or creating oc, if you needed something, MM anons would always hook you up.
I still remember and wanna thank that anon again, who gave me the Project Diva F and F 2nd DLC for my CFW PS3. I never got to use it because I already had the F DLC, and had the Japanese version of F 2nd. Now I have the English EU version of 2nd and I probably still can't use it, because it's for the American version, but that is besides the point. They also gave me links to niche CFW resource sites, where I finally found a few other rare games that I had deemed impossible to acquire.
Things happen slowly, time flies fast, brusquely, before you know it, and I am not sure if it isn't years past now, but just yesterday I got around to beating one of those rare games and I still remember that someone from MM made it possible.
Whether it was random video games shit or motherfucking phone backgrounds eMeMers had you covered. Maybe people never noticed, or took it for granted. I never considered that we were a "community", rather a group of people who subconsciously realized that we had a nice thing going, so everyone wanted to contribute in their own way, to be a part of the niceness of it all. But it either case, you couldn't find it somewhere else.
