Funny thing is, I never had to go out and buy the knife. One day as I was coming back from school maybe in 4th or 5th grade, I opened my family mail box and saw something that at first seemed like a harmonica. Then I saw it was a butterfly knife. (pic related)
It had the very tip very slightly bent and just a little bit of red paint was on the blade. I reckoned someone tried to open a paint can with it and left it in my mailbox for some fuck if I know reason.
So I thought, well it's in ''my mailbox', so my mailbox, my knife, finders-keepers, cleaned the blade, the paint was easy to take off, not even a trace of it was left and it just sat there is some drawer for fuck how many years.
Then one day obviously pretty bummed out because mentioned reasons, I said to myself, let's check this thing out. Started flipping it a bit and it felt really nice.
Now of course it's not the same when it's an inherited disposition towards high blood pressure and stress related anger, but most anger is fundamentally caused by a feeling of loss of control, and playing with the knife helps to relieve that by giving a sense of control back, all the while feeling like a badass ready to stab a bitch at any moment. (but don't)
It's a nice outlet and a good distraction. You don't even need to be some master flipper, just the repetitive actions alone can take your mind off things.
But of course if you feel like it you could put some actual dedication behind it and just in few short months you too can become a Flipping Jesus.

That's a funny story that I never got to tell actually. What I would do is draw a picture then take a picture of it with my phone. I'd move it to my PC where I would use the pen tool in PS to over lay nice clean lines. The problem with that is it takes a lot time to get it looking right. Some times I'd lose small details and mostly it wasn't any fun.

Yeah. I've come to like digital downloads, though I think that's because the PSN service seems to be implemented reasonably well. I can buy a game, access my library and redownload if I delete it. A nice touch was that the digital version of DOA5 which I have transferred to the PS4 too, so I didn't have to rebuy the game.
