Good Lord, at least you have some respite until then.
The game's great, I love it. The violence is brilliantly over-the-top and cartoonish, the game feels nice and smooth and the story segments are pretty captivating. I think this may have some of the best voice acting I've heard in anything japanese.
I felt like I had sunk some time into the game and had a grip on it, but then it took control away from me, moved me to Osaka and had me take over an entirely new character from scratch. I guess I'm nowhere in terms of game progress. Being a newcomer to Yakuza, I don't know who this is, but I understand he's the other major character throughout the series. Needless to say, I'm looking forward to becoming well acquainted with him too.

That is weird. I suppose it works since the Vita has some kind of touch functionality, but then F2nd should work too… In either case, I'd just use the sticks anyway. You actually can't fail the star notes in F because it doesn't have a safe state, meaning that flailing the sticks wildly allows you to get them with ease. F2nd requires timing, otherwise you get the dreaded safe note of doom.
