It's going pretty feelly at the moment. Last night I thought about those times Yukari anon posted those Dark Souls 3 webms and suddenly got the urge to want to just watch him play the game.

I've been using Greatswords and Ultras and I've been decent at timing my attacks so that hyper armor activates, they apparently buffed that effect if you have more poise and I'm excited for it. I have a free ring slot where I can probably slap on The Wolf Ring and make my Artorias cosplay 100%.
I'm used to no poise from Demon's Souls. Used the Meat Clever in that one. It also had hyper armor attacks.
No idea but it does sound familiar. Probably just a coincidence in sound with another song.

Hyper armor is basically at a certain point in an attack's animation (when you swing the weapon) the animation cannot be interrupted, so you cannot get staggered out of the attack if you get hit while doing it so your attack lands and you do damage. Just make sure to not die from the counter attack that hit you.

For heaven's sake I only ever played the game because of him on the cover. I don't cosplay Artorias all the time, but I do tend to do full set cosplays when I put on armor. I've mixing armor only a little and it has always been 100% what I've seen other people combine, I'm not really good at fashion souls.
Oh, and by some reports it's harder now to get staggered in Havel's, so traditional poise "might" be back in some capacity.

I do play on PC, but I've also tried it on PS3. It's a bit less optimized than Demon's Souls, probably because it's a multiplat, but it plays fine. I prefer M+KB tho.
