Representative Maxine Waters (D-CA) warned on MSNBC’s “The Sunday Show with Jonathan Capehart” that former President Donald Trump would attempt “to take over legislatures, little towns and cities.”

Therefore, she said he must be convicted in his impeachment trial to “take away his power.”

Waters said, “I do believe he sent all of these domestic terrorists to the Capitol to take over the Capitol, and that includes not only the Proud Boys but the Oath Keepers, the QAnon, and white supremacists. These people have been aligned with him. One of the things I hope that will be looked at as we take this impeachment to the Senate is the fact that in his campaign for re-election, he was paying the very organizers of the insurrection that took place. The names are right there. The amount of money that he paid to them, it is shown in the last report. More of it is going to show up in the next report that they have to do.”

She continued, “I think it is very clear. We cannot afford to allow this president to leave here without being impeached and, you know, absolutely convicted. We cannot allow him to leave and have all of the resources of the taxpayers to have not only money to hire staff, but to hire security, and money to organize with, because he will continue. He now knows, he has a population, he’s going to expand that. But that assumes i know more about the script than i really do. What i really know is this:

1. there was massive election fraud and a very high likelihood that election was stolen

2. there is a massive amt of gov't corruption that made possible both the election fraud and the total disinterest in investigating it

3. some and maybe even most of what we are seeing with Biden presidency is likely scripted (but which parts?); some of the "no investigation" could also be scripted

4. Trump's seemingly mellow let's-play-golf demeanor is almost certainly (a) a cover for something else and (b) a message to us ("do not fear, all is well"). What it's clearly not is a sign of defeat or complacency. (ditto for his fam)

5. Post-election events have exposed not just dems but repubs; events right now are also exposing summertime patriots. The last one is painful but also necessary.

6. there has been a tremendous amt of prayer and effort put by many, many people into righting big wrongs. That prayer and effort didn't go nowhere. It's gonna manifest somehow (God's wildcard). (To pray and be vigilant is not "doing nothing" as some believe.)

For me, the important thing is to not get hung up on timing. Timing is almost never what we expect.

Don't mean pissed off patriots or patriots trying to make sense of unexpected results, but those who (in their anger and bitterness) to make a decision to turn against POTUS, Q, possibly others (Flynn) etc. Feeling justified because they feel misled and disappointed.

"Rep. Stephanie Murphy (D-Fla.), a former national security specialist at the Pentagon, introduced a bill this past week that would prevent anyone who took part in the insurrection, as well as followers of the QAnon conspiracy theory, from obtaining or keeping a federal security clearance."

The legislation, known as the Security Clearance Improvement Act of 2021, requires an applicant seeking to get or renew their federal security clearance to disclose if they participated in the Jan. 6 event or if they “knowingly engaged in activities conducted by an organization or movement – like QAnon – that spreads conspiracy theories and false information about the U.S. government,” according to a statement from Murphy’s office.

Lawmakers are taking matters into their own hands to prevent white supremacists and other extremists from joining and remaining in the military.
