Iv been meaning to post this here for weeks but I don't know if any one would be interested or not. Every Sunday I'm streaming 6-12 hours of Super Robot Wars on what Iv been calling Suparobo Sunday. At the moment were up to Scenario 31 of Alpha Gaiden if any one would be interested in jumping in chatting and hanging out.

Done for this week, FINALLY got Shin Getter and Mazinkaiser after weeks of being so close we could taste it, also 3/3 on SRs this week, much better than the brutalisation we took last week. Scenario 34 was quite the monster, something like 4 hours on that one map alone.

I wonder how exactly difficult is it when I am stuck at final boss of average/normal (I didn't bother to check the mastery requirements until I was at around 50% of completion) route because I am reluctant to attack thanks to the flashbacks of previous few boss fights where it took me hours to plan and manage every detail of my turns so that I would not lose a single unit. It has been like this for ~8 months, but your thread motivated me to try and finish it off so I could start the full mastery route.
Also I spent a lot of cash soaping up Boss Borot and some grunts for fun and memes, so I guess that's the part of my problem.

Goddamn Scenario 43 has got to be one of the most brutal SRW maps i have played, and supposedly 45 is even worse…. 43 has in total taken 12 hours to clear as we had to take a reset due to running out of steam right at the end, had Magus expend all 4 of her full regenerations but just ran out of damage for the final bar of health.

Most SRW games dont go the full SD style but SRW2 does and I ended up loving it. I usually don't meme up my stream layouts as I don't like to distract from the game but we had all the free space on the sides and those sprites were glorious.
Next up will likely be SRW Gaiden/Masoukishin on the SFC.
