That sounds pretty good, actually. I0m guessing you'll go with some kind of wasteland, trying to survive from what is left. You know what would be cool? If the guys that left returned to look for something, and then discovering what that something is while also trying to restore or make the planet a little bit better.

English isn't my first language either, anon. You can try to read more literature and the such to learn more fitting words and how to use them, etc, although if you know plenty of languages, once you're stuck, think about the word you're looking for in another language and look for an english equivalent.

You can always start a patreon for the game and live off empty promises that you might never be able to fulfill

>The world is now mostly governed by 'Ra' - a group trying to bring together the last fragments of humanity and rebuild society

>The Bastet legion pilots Cat units, the mechs left over from the war, protecting from the roaming (unpiloted) Seth the aliens left behind that attack anything in their path and will never stop. Once, the Bastet Legion was the best of the best, now it's just whoever they can find.

>However, a splinter faction of humanity known as 'Osiris' are angry that Ra does not do anything to take revenge on the alien race, so they aim to take over the city Ra has set up and use the Seth units to bring the fight to the aliens

>The Anubis armada use Jackal units, heavily modded Cat units with anything they can get their hands on to beat the shit out of Cat and Seth units and scavenge what tech they can

I'm no good at Japanese Names, so I'll just call our characters by letter

>Kinda grungy looking, shaggy hair, just wears whatever's in the drawer. Pale skinned, as he spends a lot of time indoors doing anything other than work.

>This guy is basically Ryoma from Getter Robo (not the highschool football player edition)

>Hotheaded and loves to fight, a often gets into more than he can handle, but can be fun around those he likes

>Acts confident, but secretly he isn't so confident in himself, so throws himself headfirst into combat to try and prove himself, to himself

>Lives alone

>Secretly likes c, but isn't confident enough to admit it

>Pilots a somewhat chunky, but deceptively nimble mech. Thick armour means it is very durable. Wields a sword and hand cannon. Nicknamed "Dragonfly"

>b, Male, age 26

>Not the sharpest dresser, but tries to take care of his appearance. Slightly tanned, as he works outside a lot, but takes care not to burn his skin.

>Usually the one to help a out once he gets himself in too much trouble

>Gets pretty sick of his shit, so usually butts heads with a

>Other than that he's pretty chill, a total bro, always tries to look out for everyone

>Very responsible, tries to be useful to the city

>Lives alone, but considers the entire city to be his family

>Pilots a big, highly armored mech. Pretty slow, but fast enough to keep up in combat. Uses punches to inflict damage, broad forearms that double as shields. Nicknamed "Scarab"

>Dark skinned and very nimble, basically Victoria Wood from TerraFormars. Dresses as you would expect a tomboy to.

>Bubbly, funny and generally just fun to be around, but cocky when it comes to her mech

>Knows a has a crush on her, but pretends she doesn't know (despite it being glaringly obvious)

>Pilots a lightly armoured and extremely agile mech. Equipped with a jet pack for boots of speed and extended jumps and a high powered sniper rifle. Nicknamed "Hornet"

Story

>Wadjet unit are tasked with interrupting Anubis missions and reclaiming Jackal units

>Starts off with just a few missions with just messing up Jackal groups and general banter between the pilots

>A few chapters/episodes of them messing about off-mission

>One mission, everything is going as normal, when the jackal group is suddenly obliterated in one shot by a single Seth unit, which then turns to the Wadjet group

>a is absolutely horrified, b realises there's no fucking way they can beat it with just the three of them and the best course of action would be to retreat, c concurs

>Obviously this comes way too late, as the Seth unit is already upon them

>Then, several more (about 23) Jackal units fly in from nowhere, and scream at the Wadjet unit to help them, as a small town is nearby

>Now, a Jackal unit can usually take on about 2 or 3 Cat units at a time, before being destroyed, and a Wadjet unit can take on one or two Jackal units with moderate ease

>A Seth unit is about 6x the size of a Cat unit, and it takes about 50 Cat units to take one down, with heavy casualites, about 2/3 the squad

>a jumps in, despite Anubis and Osiris being their enemies, but the town in more important

>c says that they can't just let him get killed, and jumps in too

>b sighs and joins in

>The destruction is immense, the Seth takes out most of the Jackal units and knocks a's Dragonfly into the town

>It comes after it. a escapes, but the town is destoyed in the process

>Eventually the Seth comes down, but there's only about 6 Jackal units left

>The Jackal group thanks the Wedjet group for trying, and flies off

>a is horrified at the sheer destructive power of a single Seth unit

>a realises the reason the Bastet legion is so vast and will take anyone, is because they're just throwing bodies at the Seths

>Has some internal conflict at the base

>b and c say he should take some time off, but a insists he's fine

>next mission there are way more Jackals than usual, like WAY more

>b thinks it might be a trap, but a brushes it off

>as they move in, a Seth unit shows up

>oh fuck not again

>The jackals go for the headpiece, and seem more coordinated than last time

>a jumps in to the fray

>again, b and c jump in after him

>a focuses on the head with the Jackals

>Eventually, it splits open, and a jumps in

>The Jackals back off a bit and watch

>The Seth powers down, then powers back up

>"What the fuck are you doing, a?" says b

>a is now in control of the Seth

>a tells b and c he's joining Osiris, and is gonna use this Seth to help them. Seeing what that one Seth did scared him, and he figures that the aliens are only going to do that to others. The best way to do that would be to take over Ra and use their resources to gather more Seth and go into space to fuck them up.

>"You realise that we're not just gonna let you go" says b again

>"Get in my way and you'll regret it" - a

>b and c run forwards, and a just swats Scarab away like it's nothing, bisecting it in the process and instantly killing b

>c jets up and takes out Hornet's rifle, only for a to snatch it away and smash the barrel into the head of Hornet (cockpit)

>shot of the gun barrel pointed directly at c, in the cockpit, smashing through the front

>c evacuates the cockpit with an ejector seat seconds before a pulls the trigger

>she's just a little too late as it takes off her left leg and burns the entire left side of her body

>a sees her land on a sand dune

>he still has sentiment for her and leaves her there, instead of killing her

>c is just laying in the sand watching a and the Jackals leave, Scarab's burning remains just in view

>fade to black

>fade in in a hospital, c is awake

>gets up and falls over as she has only one leg

>cries tears of bitter rage, but scrables and grabs an IV drip to suppourt her

>stumbles out of her room, pushing past doctors

>one doctor blocks her path and insists that she go back to bed, only for c to knock him the fuck out

>gets out of the hospital, to find the head of Bastet and Ra pulling up

>c speeds up, grabs the head of Ra by his shirt

>"I'm gonna kill that fucking bastard. Me. Nobody else."

>c passes out

>time skip ahead to c talking to her uncle

>drives his big-ass truck into the desert and picks up Hornet, some bits of Scarab and brings them all to the Seth they brought down a while ago

>c has asked her uncle to build her a custom mech capable of taking on a Seth

>He's nothing special, but he can do a lot with just a little, and he had two Wadjets, a most of a Seth and about 30 Jackals to work with

>Months later, it's done

>Equipped with 'Horus', c sets out to take her revenge

Super Robot story idea of a hot-blooded MC and his AI robot friend that his grandfather built in a world were AIs' have been accepted by a majority of humanity; I used to draw a lot, almost professionally before losing it. BraveBuster is the title but I'm always scared if I push it forward that Sunrise and Gainax will sue me

here's some characters;

>Hotblooded high-school MC who dreams of wanting his own toy Mecha-robo & Core AI to customize but too broke.Has 2 "sides" to his personality, one where he's simply a quiet but somewhat normal 15-year old kid, the other is his Hot-bloodedness where he has skills "almost as good as those of an ace pilot." Watches a lot of cartoons and plays games, but has a passion in toy mecha-robo fights. more or less an expy of Domon; much like his older brother, MC's brother is even more hot-blooded which tragically backfires with karmic consequences to him and his family Moves into his grandfather's mansion where he used to live before moving out. Later on he finds out his grandfather had altered his memories in order to help him forget his tragic backstory past where his brother and him fought and their parents died but a berserk rogue core AI was manipulating all of them except for his creator His grandfather creates this cool watch among other things that transforms into a gauntlet for his grandson "so he can finally become a hero not of justice but of generosity."

>MC's AI core friend who emulates human calm levelheadedness to assist the MC, can activate and control any & and later multiple robot bodies. Eventually gets 3 Super Robot forms that each transform on a progressively higher level; think of him like the Megaman to the MC's Lan, or Metabee with Ikki, or Beymax to Hiro.

>MC's grandfather & professor. Is a retired professor officially who used to work with the United Federation & more importantly was the founding member of an organization called "VALOR." He's (comedically) short (taller than yoda?) and owns a cool mansion where the MC moves into at the beginning of the story. Genius mind behind the creation of core AIs and super robt who despite his gruffness and cynicism cares deeply for his family & friends even despite his past. he also used to run an "robot" theme park that is totally not theme park from Nier: Automata in a prequel story where he and 4 other AI's used to protect the innocent Dies somewhat later on at the hands of an alien invader, leaves behind a copy core AI that he dumped his mind in in order to help the MC posthumously, later kills one his own berserk rogue AI he made who is totally not-Ultron who he killed his family breaking the Laws of Robotics.

>MC's tomboy older sister who remembers the horrors of a war long ago as well as how it affected their family. She has a drinking problem. She doesn't have her own core AI robot for now but she can somewhat pilot as she had before at least a twice during the war albeit during special circumstances

>MC's older brother who disappeared after his parents died. His hot-bloodedness is the OG where his younger brother gets from and hates Used to be part of a team of pilots & soldiers along with his grandfather and his core AI he developed before it went crazy and decided to control his brain and force him and his brother to fight each other and kill both their parents Has his own story where he goes into outer space to find himself and seek his purpose to redemption

>Main girl, Ara ara older girl former student council president with cybernetic eyes which she got years ago due to her blindness. She also plays the piano. (in a animu adaptation this would be significant for the OST.) First meets the MC in a high school stage auditorium where MC and her first meet plot twist they actually met years before on a huge space federation battlecruiser but she didn't have her cybernetic eyes at that time so she was blindfolded and had to be escorted by her wheelchair-bound mother. Father is a double agent for an evil villain organization who tragically later uses her for a project where her spine becomes cybernetically augmented. This REALLY pisses off the MC Tooooootally not an homage to G Gundam mirroring that of Rain & Domon

>Main girls' AI core Robot Maid who watches over Main girl. Can transform into a cool Jet Exo-Armor as well as a Battle Loadout for Toy Mecha-Robo fights. in the animu adaptation she was gonna be voiced by Miyu Matsuki

>MC' wise-cracking best friend from grade school who's a skilled engineer who comes from a small family. Created his own series of core AI's that impresses the MC's grandfather early on. Serves as comic relief but also one of the more capable pilots. His family comes from a nation that suffered the most during a war long ago which the MC's family is responsible for but he doesn't hold that against him holding true to his loyalty as a friend

>Wise-cracking best friend's core AI. Speaks in a customized language of beeps and boops that the Wise-cracking friend seems to only understand totally not ripping off R2-D2 from Star Wars. His mecha-robos both toy and 1/1 form can transform into wingfighter forms.
