Still waiting for Ex-Aid to be added on kissasian. Even if it's shit, like Ghost, I at least wanna watch it for myself.

+It's a multi-rider show
+Some neat shots throughout the episode
+Already better main rider than Ghost Not that that's hard though
+When Ex-Aid transforms he creates a 'level' by having mario blocks manifest all over the place. These could lead to some interesting choreography involving the set pieces
+When he preps his finisher he blows into the Gasshot
-I don't care for lvl-1 form. Here's hoping it'll be like Gaim and they'll get a belt upgrade that jumps them straight to lvl-2
-The horrible cg-meatball monster.
I'm actually hopeful this series ends up good.

There's hope. Just gotta be sure to ignore the shitty movie crossovers and such. Those are such horrendous shit.

Pretty much 9 times out of 10 yeah, but sometimes you get a W crossover section which covers actual story that effects the rest of the series, or a Fourze which are just pure fun.

Even the W movie with Skull has lots of issues. Though those are with the O's parts. The W bit at the beginning seems to be fine.
On the subject though, is W worth it? I tried it but I just can't get into it. The villain concept with usb sticks is dumb and the fucking girl character is super annoying. The girl is really the worst part of it. I can't stand it when she's on screen.
Also Fourze and it's movie with O's and W is okay. Fourze is fun but it never feels like it's going anywhere. I'm like 30 episodes in and there's still no answer to what the villain end goal is.

The problem with OOO's movies were they decided to retool the show because they liked the actor playing Birth too much to get rid of him during the crossover movie and ended up rewriting the rest of that season.
W's movies are pretty good, and Begins night and Eternal inform or carry over into the rest of the season.
I think I like Fourze's solo movie best of all KR movies mostly due to the handing out the astroswitch sequence, and in Ultimatum the Wizard section was awful but Fourze was still alright.
All will be revealed with Fourze though, just be patient and enjoy the fun. but if you're that impatient here's a hint: first contact

YouTube embed. Click thumbnail to play. At least Ex-AIDS first video game debut is looking good. We even get a playable copy of Mighty Action X with this.

is amazons good?
i'm still pretty new to kamen rider & i've only really watched og and black. i tried watching the first few episodes of drive, and it was really jarring how cartoony it tried to be; it looks like ex-aid is similar. is amazons like that or is it more like the older shows?

Amazons is a super dark and graphic Kamen Rider semi-reboot/spinoff. It's super serious so there's like no humor whatsoever. It's really good and way better than something like Drive or Ghost were they get too caught up with the shit humor. It's fun in a dark way. It's like an action horror movie.

Yes.
If you prefer the older shows to the humor toy centric newer series, then you'll like Amazons.

Well take Black, and make it darker, and add in some RIP AND TEAR and you get Amazons. I personally refer to Amazons as the most Showa Heisei production Toei has ever put out, it deals with the original core idea of Kamen Rider being some person transformed into something against their will and then using that transformation to do good.

20 episodes in and the series is still going strong. It's incredible really. So many low points lately in the series and in the Heisei Era as a whole. It's great to have a show like this to brighten things up again. Just wish they'd hurry up with the figuarts and for the movies to get subbed faster.

Drive wasn't that bad, it just lacked something that I can't really grasp.
Ghost was truly bad. 49 episodes of the PC hugging people is not what I wanted to see.

It was around Freeze's arc that the series went downhill for me and having Tomari die to just fuse with the car to become robocop should have been the beginning of the series.

It's the movies that really drag the series down a whole lot sense they acknowledge them. Drive ain't the worst but it's in the list of bad Rider shows.
