The latest sponsored Splatfest (an in-game competition where players pick one side and fight the other, competing for wins and popularity) is Autobots vs. Decepticons. In honor of that, one of our regulars will be hosting a stream of Transformers: The Movie tomorrow night (Friday the 28th) at 10PM EST (or 7PM PST). It's been a few years for me since I last frequented /m/, so I don't know what the current attitude towards western mecha is, but if anyone is interested in robot carnage, hair metal, and Starscream dickery, you're welcome to join us. Hey 8/u/ here. We're gonna try having a stream for Simoun episodes 1 through 4 later today in about 11-12 hours from now according to the streamer in question.
Never seen it but I distinctly remember it being on one of your /m/u/ charts. It's supposed to be about girls flying things or something and there is politics which we all know you enjoy and worldbuilding. There might even be some girls kissing girls or maybe even handholding. We can only hope.

Hey /m/. 8/u/ here again. We got a poll up on what to watch that's been stuck in multiple ties. Current votes are 1 vote for Mai HiME, 2 for Marimite, and 3 for Kannazuki no Miko and El Cazador de la Bruja respectively. Two series here are /m/ or /m/ish and another is /k/ (which I know you tend to enjoy) so I thought you might want to get involved in the vote for a change. We already just watched Noir that's why it's missing despite Madlax and El Cazador being present. Fantastic show.

If you're setting up on cytube you'll probably want to use the google drives trick.
There's walkthroughs online for setting up burner google accounts if you need. I'm well past a dozen by this point lol.
Sometimes I use a mix of youtube and dailymotion, like if I'm expecting a lot of non cytube users.
Most Japanese ip doesn't try very hard so I rarely run into something that's blocked on both.

not that I've noticed so far
only time I've had something get popped on a google drive was a common copy of Top Gun that flagged as "won't play for other people" or something like that
I've made a bunch because at only 15gigs you blow through free accounts pretty fast
I've had pretty good luck with using youtube burner accounts and splitting stuff into under 15m chunks, but I rarely try anything that isn't old robot crap so it's probably not a great solution for everybody.
Yeah the userscript kinda sucks if for no other reason than it's a lot harder to get people to show up and watch something if you tell them "oh btw install this it's cool" no matter how sincere you may be.
